Some of you may remember a puzzle game named Intelligent Qube (Kurushi Final in Europe) on the first PlayStation. You were playing a character trapped on a grid and you had to destroy waves of moving cubes to avoid being crushed to death... XP1728 is directly inspired by that game and actually draws all its gameplay mechanics from it.

Your goal is to survive by destroying every cube, except black ones. Every time you destroy a black cube, the grid loses one row, leaving you less room to complete the level. In addition, special cubes (orange, green, and blue) allow you to make combos, but be may tend to get overexcited and forget some black cubes :)

That game was originally designed for hardcore gamers and puzzle game specialists seeking for challenge. If you think you have some skills, go straight to the campaign mode and try to get the highest possible score. A leaderboard is here to make you shine, but don't forget to log in. However, if you are a casual gamer, don't worry ! An interactive tutorial is here to introduce the basic rules and show you all kind of tricks to win and improve your score.

With more than 120 waves, XP1728 will certainly bring you some challenge. And if you think this is too easy, or you don't know how to improve your scores, you can still get new avatars and improvements from the vault !

To be fully playable, XP1728 requires a device at least capable of running GLBenchmark 2.1 Egypt Standard at 15 fps.

Yes!!! This makes me so happy. I loved intelligent cube and was very surprised to see how nice the game play is on my galaxy s5. I do miss that original voice that used to say "PERFECT" though haha. Best 99 cents I've spent in a long time.

Kurushi - I.Q, Intelligent Qube This game is not up to par with the original for the PSone but it is a step in the right direction. What i would prefer is if the game included a measure of your i.q at the end of your performance as in Kurushi. The title of the game is questionable too. What kind of name is Xp 1728, that is highly off-putting. Another gripe is the font size. I have to squint to see what i am reading. Font increase, IQ measure and a name change and ur onto a winner just like Kurushi. Good attempt tho & 2 thumbs up 4 effort.

Wtf Can't play game without losing progress won't let me login to Facebook...want my dollar back..I can use it for a pack of smokes.

Truly F#&$3/ up This game is a horrible mockery of intelligent cube. Game play sucks, controls sucks, cant go back without exiting the game. This game has mprr glitches than the first cpu. Trash it start over and if I could rate it, it would be a negative five stars.

Jason Watson

Its fun but after each level i cant tap coninue or quit. I have to exit and go back into app all over it dont fit my screen rite unless except when playing game.

Kevin Venable

Nice This is reminiscent of I.Q. for sure but could you switch to one control stick instead of the four directional pads. Like the ones used in the first person shooter games for Android. Other than that great game. Thanks for listening.

Paul Embrack

Awesome I'm so happy I found this game. I've been looking for intelligent qube for ps1 and this is just like it!

Kutty Rome

Fix please Fix controls movment & action buttons pad reverse them. And exit options to save progress...other than graphics though not bad...offers a little fix to those who miss Intelligent Cube!

Kurushi style Great version of a cult game that should have had more respect

wEAK. - Do not Purchase. Game doesn't work on my phone even though it is listed as compatible. Rubbish. Game arena does not fit on screen and text is truncated at start and end of every line. Also cannot continue onto level 2 as there is no continue button accessible on the screen. Piece of crap. Do not purchase.

Great game. Everything runs great and I play everyday.

Jasmen Watt

Intelligent qube I've been looking all over for this game. I'd prefer a better control to move my player though. Is a bit too small

Joshua Clarke

Pure Excellence Would like it to look more original to kurushi, but it is an awesome game. Well done to the creators. Fantastic!

Cire Sille

Good It's intelligent qube for ps1 but redone on a phone. Kinda hard with out a controller but good

Michelle Simpson

Intelligent Qube I loved the game Intelligent Qube on Playstation one and this is finally that game! Yay!

Michael Daruda

Love this game

Blast from the past

Great remake of I.Q.!! Love it.

wORTHless I used to love Intelligent Qube, played it all the time and had gotten really good at it. Haven't had my PlayStation hooked up for years now though, and I was excited to find this game. Bought it and went through the tutorial and then found that the game does not save your progress unless you log into freakin' facebook. Deal breaker for me, uninstalled.

So close I loved Intelligent Qube. I was only ever able to get my hands on the demo, so when I found this I was ecstatic. It's a lovely remake; my only complaint is that the virtual pad is... inverted. I'm so accustomed to the d-pad being on the left that it's hard to adjust. I repeatedly make silly mistakes as a result, and I wish there was an option to flip the virtual pad in the settings.

A Google User

Close to original I was happy to find this app after searching for something Like the original Intelligent Qube I only was able to play as a demo on the old PlayStation. I had been hoping to find it for PS3 though. I find it a little harder to control with tablet functions but still happy with it. My only gripe is the link to Facebook, which I gave into. I refuse to pay for Facebook coins and I have yet to figure out how to invite friends as it suggests. I do think I may know a couple of people that would be interested though. Also had an issue saving so far. But for a $1 my complaints are insignificant!

:( Love this game have done for years and you have done a good take, but if I can't save unless I have facebook well that's just kak.

A Google User

Perfect! This is a Excellent game! Thank you. There is an app for everything... I wonder if I can find one that will grow trees.

Buggy Slow to get to the game because of the loading and laggy menus but once u get to the game its smooth

A Google User

Great Great remake of the classic playstation hit.

A Google User

Samsung Droid charge I love this game its just like intelligent cube. They need to lite up the top of the bombs not the bottom just like in the real game cuz its confusing.

Thamar Glukel

Great game, close to the original.

Дмитрий Терентьев

The game is superb. UI could have used a bit of work, though. Accidentally hitting "Retry this step" during tutorial (suddenly appearing message, no confirmation), missing the d-pad hitbox or obstructing the screen with my hands cause the other option makes you touch the left side of the screen to move to the left (optional draggable virtual joystick would be awesome, the existing options just don't come close to this), coin-pack buttons overlapping item description in vault. Also, perhaps my phone's problem, but when i close menu/messages game freezes for a sec, kinda preventing smooth start after pause.

Yulian Konchunas

no loading animation I have no loading animation and device thinks it is freezed. But both game and graphics are great. Also some creepy music as in Kurushi would make it cooler

Sonya Fleming

A Faithful Re-Creation I've been waiting for a developer to recognize what a perfect fit Intelligence Cube is for mobile gaming! While unfortunately named, "XP1728" is a faithful re-creation of the PS1 classic, elegantly executed on the mobile platform. Prepare to cheer at your successes, & bellow at the heavens with your frustrations... But the frustrations will be from your clumsy fingers and foggy brain, not from any failings of the game. The ONLY thing missing is the orchestral music from the original!

Knuckle Head

Knucklehead I loved intelligent Cube on ps one, and this game is just as good. It works almost perfect, the only problem I have with it is after each stage I'm unable to tap quit or continue besides that it is perfect and if u guys can fix the screen so it fits my phone so i can continue or quit I'd give this game a 5 star rating, I'd give it ten stars if u fixed it and I would've happily paid 20$ for a version where the menu screens fit all devices. I have an lg lucky. No problem on my tab. Please fix

Paul Salvail

Bad controls Good game but movement and control reaction is too slow. Really like the game but the og one on psone had better color and scene graphics and that was like 15 years ago c'mon

Jared Sullivan

Worth it! Reminds you so much of the old demo game for the ps1. It's difficult too! So don't expect to breeze thru the levels.

Stephen Anthony

Memories PS1 days!! If you enjoyed Intelligent Cube, you'll fall in love again.

Terrell Singleton

Great game I always loved this game!

Tony Sykes Jr.

Thee best Been looking for this

Paul Bb

Good game but lacks development I loved playing this on the ps1 then called Kurushi (which I still have). The game play is fine but the presentation is really basic. Menu are pretty horrible OK they work but look like they are just prototype for testing. With a much better presentation and some improved graphics I really think this could be the next best game app

Simon Garrison

Kurushi void You know, when someone gets jealous and ruins it all? Well, I am going to apologise to kurushi on you behalf, kack856.... You'll get yourself hurt if you don't change your ways...

Ryan Martin

Faithful remake Looking at the past reviews, the dev has def made an effort to implement requested features. The dpad is full circle and each lvl has menu at end. The game plays a lot like IQ, which is great for a buck. My only complaints are the text is too small and the cubes could be differentiated more clearly, can be hard to tell apart....I'd also like it if you could be pushed over by the new cubes that rise up and the char would say "uuuurrugh!" Like in IQ, :) but that's being nit-picky. Great remake all in all.

Wi M

Love this game!

Luke Stewart

During the tutorial I kept on pressing the try this step again button because the tutorial and controls are a mess!!! Uninstalled.

Craig Tomsett

A classic remade I remember loving kurushi back on the ps1 and this is about as close as you are gonna get on your phone. Enjoyable and worth the price

Patti Morrow

Awesome game Loved this game when I first played it on playstation, its still awesome!!!!!!
