The official app of the Woodford Folk Festival, in its second incarnation!
We have hugely improved upon last year's app, and kept all the goodness.
(Big improvements on last year's app; see the notice below)

Woodford 2014 (The App) Features:
* Full programme
(much faster and better than last year, including support of rotation and pinch & zoom)
* Interactive map
* Personal programme creator
(with three highlighter colours)
* Mark my campsite
* Full itinerary and bio's for each of the 400+ artists and presenters
(with link outs to their official websites)
* Full week programme for each of the 35+ venues
* Children's festival programme
* Twitter and Instagram festival chat feed
* A navigation system that reveals and opens up the richness and breadth of the Woodford Folk Festival like never before

NOTICE : The developers acknowledge there were problems with the 2013 iWoodford app on some popular Android devices - this year's app has been completely redesigned to avoid those issues and testing on the previously-especially-problematic Motorola and Samsung Galaxy has shown the redesign to be effective.
We appreciate your feedback and will strive to build a better app every year.
Please give it a go this year and let us know what you think.

Our intention is for the app to be something that contributes to the magic of Woodford, and becomes part of your Woodford experience.
We see ourselves as one of the many brightly coloured threads that form the festival tapestry, just like the Fire Event, Byron Bay doughnuts, Spaghetti Junction, Men in Black and the Children's Parade.
We hope that people will look forward to seeing what is new in the app each year.
Our mission is to create something exceptional that you can be excited about.

Whats new

    * Reduce memory used by home screen for increased stability
    * Fixed bug where accessing the map in Brisbane (or pretty much anywhere south of Woodford) could result in a blank white screen
    * Fixed bug where events after midnight in My Programme screen showed first instead of last
    (Thank you to Campbell Starky for picking this up)
    * Fixed incorrect image of Rhonda Roberts
    (Thank you Mark A for using the About/feedback link to let us know about this)

Better but not great Pros: big improvement on last years. Looks good. Great info. My program is good with colour coded gigs. Cons: Still slow to use. Highlighters take forever to come up on screen. The Programs can't be zoomed out. Venue labels on map don't scale when you zoom in. Can't choose your own highlighter colours. These are only minor criticisms, but it'd be great if they could be fixed up before the festival begins.

Good app, saves time and space This is a fast and efficient app. It doesn't chew through battery, and the cross referencing between highlighted acts, artist info/schedule, and your personalised program is fantastic. Does constantly open random events if you leave the app open in your pocket. App got laggy on the last day but these were small problems.

Marco Grigull

A lot more functional than last year The map setting functions seem to be offline. Will update rating when testing onsite in a few weeks

Christopher Mckay

Incomplete program Missing the entire sideshow schedule. No map of food vendors. Constantly opens random events while left open.

Jeremy Garnett

Delayed load times The app is generally very well designed, even if it does feel as if it were made for a large screen. The highlighter buttons, however, take a while to load, if they ever do... I do wish it would sync with my calendar, and that there were information on the stalls

Good work! Much better than last year. It helped me lots. Great if the gps had worked though.

Helpful, Convenient & Easy to Use! So much more than the whole programme in your pocket! Maps, more info I can poke a stick of incense at, and it even gave me the ability to create my own schedule. I'm rapt! So excited for the Festival and now I have such a great handle on what's going on. Really easy to use, too - the guys who made this really plugged in to the intuitive side of usability. Nice one.

Vastly improved Like last year's version, this app has mountains of detailed content on every performer and every venue, all attractively presented and linked to the map. However, this year's version is noticeably more responsive and reliable, with a few rather nice new features. I love that I can now colour code interesting events and see them on my own customised program. My fave feature only happens when you shake the phone. It was a pleasant surprise, so I won't spoil it by telling you now. I'm looking forward to trying this app on site during the festival!

Great app, small bugs Awesome app for planning my festival, information is great, navigatiob through the app is good, and maps are cool. One issue I find is that items after midnight get placed at the start of the day in the my program section. For example a concert at 1am Saturday night (technically Sunday morning) gets listed on My Program as if it were 1am Saturday morning. If this could be fixed it would make planning nights way easier

Janette McLeod

At last! Brilliant - love the colours which replicates the highlighter on the paper program.

Rachel Fentiman

Essential festival guide Wow! This app is so incredibly user friendly! I love how you can personalize your program and the extra features are so exciting!

Heron Robinson

Hate it. While it's nice to check the program without having to unfold the map-style one or carry around the big one, it's set out pretty terribly. Maybe a drop-down menu for each location would be better. Also, having to pay three dollars on it was fairly irritating - of course, usually three bucks isn't much but considering I've already spent upwards of five hundred dollars on my ticket and a hundred or so on food, plus the phone charging, it just seems the Woodford people are trying to milk me for all my money.

never downloaded I can't really give a positive review as there was an error after repeatedly downloading it
