VirDoc, a Science class dissection app, is a Verizon Innovative App Challenge national winning app concept. teamAVOCADO, a high school team consisting of 4 females and 2 males, from Cab Calloway School of the Arts in Wilmington, DE developed VirDoc, a virtual dissection app using MIT App Inventor 2.

VirDoc gives the user the ability to dissect and interact with a well-rendered cadaver in Science class.

VirDoc is an educational app that will help students who may not be able to participate in dissection gain access to a good substitute. The built-in options define body parts and terms used in dissection procedures, and students can get information with the touch of a button. VirDoc’s options allow the students to have portable access to the steps of a surgical procedure anywhere they go. This app can change the way schools differentiate the use of resources to help students master content and enhance their future educational experiences.

VirDoc also won Delaware Rep. John Carney's 2015 Congressional App Challenge.

(Note from teamAVOCADO: We are currently making fixes and updates to VirDoc.)

Menu button I feel like the menu button isn't ready yet because the developers want to add more to the app itself, that's why it's "not working" it's just not ready yet. Overall the app is very wonderful.

Avocado man? Why is there an avocado with a dude's face in it whenever I try to use the scalpel? It's very strange..... also your menu button doesn't work.
