Good Thanks for adding the library. I just can't get it to work. I get directed to Google Play.
Blackboard integration... Long awaited It's pretty cool how you can finally access blackboard, however in doing so the UI looks kinda corny/childish, eg. The courses I do kinda look like there written on wood or something. Would be awesome if you made it be more sleek or something more professional looking
Only way to view some attachments on android tablet Some of the instructors upload pdf's to blackboard in a way that they can't be download and android doesn't support the required plugin to actively view them in the various android browsers even with flash plugins etc. This app let's you download the pdf direct to device so just for that this gets 5 stars. Solved a very frustrating problem!
cool such a great organised app
Just links to web site. Low functionality. Poor design. Look like was writing by students ; (
Lots more work needed. Image quality struggles on Androids with screens larger than iPhones and the functionality is currently very limited... But all that said its a move in the right direction. Would do a lot better with some features surrounding a login like downloading your timetable or filtering posts and contacts to your degree. Fingers crossed this might come in a future version!
Needs work I like that it prevents you from accidently quitting. Map could do with a lot more detail, names of buildings and lawns when you zoom in would be a pretty basic improvement.
Super Super Slow! The only app that takes half a minute to launch I ever see!!
Pretty basic overall Could be good in the future but pretty useless at the moment. Could be good for first years who need to know their way around campus.
Why the negativity? We are the first and, currently, the only Uni with our own app. I think it's great what we have. Improvements come in time I'm sure. Thanks UNSW!
Has some useful details however... Would be far better if you were able to and I could be wrong as in the fact maybe I missed the option... but would be great if one could log on and receive all relevant and critical details to the courses and subjects that people are enrolled in.
Slow slow slow Not only slow starting speed but also not really well functioned. The timetable is suck. It took hours to fill it by hand. Why don't u use the myunsw database? And the map is not good too. Not thing better than Google map. Then why do I need this app?
Engg Fail piece of engineering. Idea is good but execution is second to none.
Useful A bit clunky to start, but comprehensive and a lot of potential.
Good, could be better Would've much been better if i could login and view my timetable. It stops working when i open the timetable.
Disappointed A politician is more reliable. It pretty much crashes every time I open it. Uninstalled!
Keeps crashing. :( Title says it all.
Pointless A Waste of time...
LOL.... what a joke Poor excuse of an app. Lacks so many basic features. So I fork out $131.50 for "Student Service and Amenities Fee" for you to build me a crappy app that doesn't work well and an 'Arc' membership that barely gives back to its student. Good work guys... LOLjks do better
Disappointing The main issue with this app is the timetable and uni map setup. The timetable is good in that it allows a timeline like setup but it's all manual, no syncing with your student ID. This means you have to enter every single one of your classes and all its details. The map is absolutely pointless, with only a few features that gives you a slight indication of where transport or student services are. Don't expect to find out where a particular building is for one of your classes.
Unprofessionally bad This app is embarrassingly useless. Needs to sync with myunsw, allow zmail access and have a map that isn't a mid-90s quality image.
lemon and lime error message "cannot load data to start application". not a good start
Just the Lemon and Lime error messagr Takes forever to load but I get nothing but the error message. Will keep trying. Reinstall?!
Useless Doesn't actually do anything for me - please allow for login to access my timetable and other myUNSW services, thanks
Not a very good start Takes too long to load stuff and open up. Student shouldn't be adding their own timetable so wish to had it sync with myunsw. Also should a feature so that we can read our zmails
Good starting point This is way better than what I expected from the uni. Many features, hope to see a logon and auto download of timetables though. More to come?
Not bad.. Well its clearly a good attempt but since it is an official unsw app I expected it to get my timetable directly from myunsw if I logged in, instead of having to add lectures manually..
Ugly piece of crap Being the official app i expect it to be much more polished and professional...
Doesn't download data It says lemon and lime couldn't download data. Ill keep trying but it isn't working....not even opening. What's wrong?
Not functional Doesn't load... error on start up using HTC legend on Android 2.2
Lemon and lime? Had the the problem of lemon and lime not downloading the necessary files to launch
Uni-Highschool Have to say, would not syncing students timetables not be the first thing to implement before the first release instead of when students can get drunk.. Not a good start really.
Poorly designed Android apps should not ask whether I want to exit this app. Go read the Android design basics again.
No point. It needs to offer syncing with myunsw for timetable & zmail to make it worthwhile.
User unfriendly Id rather just write my timetable in my diary or print it up. This app needs to sync with the zpass or it's really quite useless. I may as well go through the browser into the unsw website.
The university should make the app worthy of its reputation. The current application is not visually appealing as icon styles are everywhere and the app is not user friendly as it should be for a student. The app has the potential to be significantly better than the current version.
Breaks on startup Don't get a bunch of iphone loons to build your apps and deliberately sabotage the Android version
