Update is now messing up When you arm system via TC now,the app doesn't let you know that the system has been armed. You have to log out then log in again to show conformation

The old app works better I have been reading some of these reviews and u tell us that it's our phones or something. Its not my phone my total connect work great until i updated this app. Come on it seems like everytime Honeywell or total connect does something blame it on us Today it has taken 4 tries uninstalling then reinstalling the app and my cameras now take forever to come up and all was fine until I updated the app.

Note 4-lollipop automation control not working So I just updated my phone on Verizon to lollipop and the ap works...but I no longer can control manually my automation light switches,etc...please can u fix?

Not Satisfied With This Application Although my wifi signal is strong on both outdoors Honeywell cameras, this application only shows the front outside camera and not the backyard(x) is shown. When I am at home, I would have to reboot the outside backyard camera for it to be . on this Application. Away from home, I am not able to reboot the camera mentioned. Paid serviceman to resolve this problem, to no avail the camera in the backyard is unreliable along with this application. Why, it is all part of an expensive unreliable system.

Constantly having problems where I disarm the system from my phone, it shows that it is disarmed then I open the door and the alarm goes off. Really awesome when I get home from work at 5am and it wakes up my kids.

Cricket wireless warning. Switched to cricket and although there is a drop-down for cricket on the website, sms on cricket doesn't work. Honeywell refuses to talk to you and tells you call your dealer! But the dealer doesn't have any way to fix it because Honeywell makes it!!!

Okay You can't save videos from this app or lock them to keep them from being deleted, all you can do is view them. But everything else is OK.

Please help App was working fine on my note 4 until lollipop update. Now it is very quirky. It takes forever to arm and disarm. I have to open and close the app 5 times until it connects. Then I have to use the keypad to arm and disarm. That's if I can get it to the keypad. PLEASE HELP!

It's been good. No problems until yesterday The app's been great until yesterday when the events list stopped updating. Restarting the phone and reinstalling the app hasn't resolved the problem. I can still open & close the office remotely, but those events don't show anymore on the phone (Samsung GS4) or the website.

Currently useless Just upgraded to total connect 2.0, instead I have "no connect 2.0". Phone is running 5.0.1...no communication, check Internet connection... error message.. I am not able to lock the doors from my mobile. Is there anything I can do? I tried that link... I can't click on it from cell. So I typed it.. it didn't work. I've call customer support. . Cut them some slack. Even the police are not a solid method of protection but we cut them slack. This app is running smoothly for myself. Let the support team Do their job. So keep complaining but don't attack them. Let them know what is wrong. To keep our houses locked ?

More steps :-( Arm *away and *stay buttons reduced to a single #arm button. Arm selection appears after pressing top level #arm button then selecting *stay or *away. Result is an extra step/press/choice to arm your system.

Update created a new issue for me I recently upgraded to cellular monitoring and just had three cameras added to my Total Connect 2.0 account although I've been using the mobile app a few weeks prior. Before the cameras, when I looked at the Events tab, all of the entries were time stamped in 12 hr format. After the cameras were installed, the Events entries were time stamped in 24 hr format. I logged on to the TC desktop version to check my settings. My profile. location, camera settings, etc were all in 12 hr format. My phone is also in 12 hr format. I called my home alarm provider and they suggested I uninstall/reinstall the mobile app. That didn't fix the issue and it created another issue. They ended up logging into my account to run a panel sync and it initially worked. I logged out of the mobile app, logged back in, went to the Events tab and I literally saw the 12 hr format change back to a 24 hr format.

Unreliable I was pretty sure I armed the alarm, but I always want to double check. It continuously says disarmed and freezes on "arming". It says out of sync and no matter how many log outs or uninstalls I've done, I can't get peace of mind.

Keeps crashing I like the app and its feaures and havnt had trouble connecting. It keeps crashing in my Galaxy s5 active nearly every time I use it, it just goes to a black screen and I have to manually do a forced stop in app manager. Other than that its a pretty straightforward app and easy to use. When they get the crash problem resolved, its definetly 5stars from me.

I switched from ADT to Safeguard and had to get rid of my keychain remote, but was told that using this app on my phone would be just as easy. Guess what??...it's a huge pain. It would be fine if the app actually worked the way it was supposed to. It always gets stuck on "connecting" so I can rarely even select whether I want to arm or disarm. Sometimes it helps if I go to a different screen within the app and then back to the arm/disarm screen and then it will let me, but it never ever lets me do it the first time from the arm/disarm screen. It's incredibly annoying and I've had to restart my phone or reinstall the app so many times just to make it work. I know some may think it's my phone or my phone service that's the issue, but I have a new Samsung Galaxy with Verizon 4G. I don't have problems with any other app. This one frustrates me on a daily basis. Wishing I could just have a keychain remote back. I gave it two stars because the concept seems great, but this app stinks!!! UPDATE - Honeywell asked me to contact them directly with the issue. Thinking they would actually help, I did what they asked. Guess what?! No response. I guess their customer service stinks just as much as this app!!

Great App Love the app, very easy to use! Honeywell, I am a security professional and a few things that you all are missing 1. I cannot create a condition within the sences for my home automation. I am looking to be able to turn on a certain light only between certain hours based on a motion trigger. Although this can be done via my Tux WiFi, it would be even better to have this option capable through the app. 2. When will Additional partitions give us notifications? Also paientially awaiting the CDMA units! ;)

Good but.... Worked on old iPhone about 90%. New Samsung note 4 and it arms the alarm but will not disarm, freezes or disconnects, going on a week now. Not convenient when the chimes wake up a newborn instead of one single disarm chime. Not happy.

Works Well but requires reboot Total Connect 2.0 works well for our Interface Security implementation. Unfortunately, the app now requires frequent phone reboots as sometimes it just shows a blank screen on launch. Hope it's fixed soon.

Automation Issue FIXED Arm and disarm work great! No automation control for Zwave switches/devices, they don't even show up within the automation tab. Update 1-27-15, I emailed a reply to someone with Honeywell Total Connect who appeared to care but have never received an email back nice attempt at the failed customer service. 1-29-15 There customer service contacted me via email and we were able to fix the issue I had. Thanks for the help.

Just looks bad... It may be functional, but most of the time, it switches between 24 hour and 12 hour time formats constantly. And how outdated can this be-no google material design? Almost every other 100k+ app has that.

Looking Forward I've only used the app in demo mode so far as a visual tool for clients. The demo crashes often, hoping this is not the case for the actual app. Also, I'm very much looking forward to individual disarm/away/stay buttons on the main page. That would really clean things up.

Won't log in App crashes instead of logging in when I enter my username and password. No response from Honeywell after 2 days of reporting this. Follow-up: The app opens a window to report the failure and that's how I replied. Now I'm adding this on my laptop. Also adding a star for responding to me. I'm using a Motorola Bravo cell phone running Android version 2.2.2. Hope this helps you troubleshoot (or it may be the problem).

Needs polish Like the attempt to clean up the app and glad to hear the old two arm buttons are coming back. But can you also get this app to arm as quick as the old version. It takes forever now. Also one last little thing, the apps icon has to be the ugliest dated one I've seen in awhile. Please a little more polish all around and this app will be great.

Pin Log On I wish the app had the ability to use a pin number for login after completing the set up. The app times out after a while. Then you have to enter user name and password again to set alarm or check status. Not a deal breaker but annoying.

**updated** Issue was with my local alarm company and not the app. Still wish I could "arm away" from the app. Works well on my phone** I used this app several times per days until I updated. Found out it didn't work when I tried to remote unlock my door and turn off the alarm. Had to choose to either tell my codes to the dog sitter or turn around on day one of my vacation. I'm disappointed and scared now that someone knows my code! Nice way to start my vacation!

Nothing but problems After a year, still same issues of inability to synch many zwave,like schlage door lock(doesn't indicate correct lock status ). NOW automation won't even start (on GS4). On ipad where automation does open, synch with Somfy shades doesn't work (no idea if open or closed ). It seems like nobody does QA for major devices on software releases and my alarm company Burgarello has been clueless on how to fix synch so the field support network is dysfunctional.

App not working right Last summer I was able to control the AC with no problems. Now that I need Heat the phone app won't switch to heat. It will momentarily but reverts back to Cooling. Question, whould the tuxedo work better if it were hard wired to the internet?

Takes forever to put alarm on It takes forever for the app to load, sign in, and arm or disarm. It takes less time for me to get dressed and go all the way down stairs to disarm or arm the alarm.

Galaxy note 5 New update broke the future that showed faulty zone under alarm, so you could bypass as they popped. N upow i have to mauel enter the zone on the keypad and press the codes to bypass each zone. Pita!! How does every update break more than it fixes??

Though functionally effective, it's basically a ported web-app. It seems each screen is dedicated to a new function, and each new function takes seconds to load. Functionally this is tolerable as it provides previously impossible remote access to an alarm system and connected devices. However, on an absolute scale when compared with other apps, and even other apps to control connected devices it is tedious and laborious. I'm not inspired to continue building out a connected home that requires this interface to control, that's for certain.

Not working since day 1. They have been out 3 times to check alarm but i still don't have an app that works. Totally useless alarm without wireless control. Should have stayed with vivnt. Need reminders I had previous alarm app with another company that I could set reminders if alarm wasn't set at a certain time and it would send me a text message. It would also text if me or my husband set alarm. That way if we weren't in the same room, the other would know if alarm was set.

Issues Very Flaky lately when arming and disarming. Doesn't always work. And for automation you don't have a simple on off switch option. The lamp has an on/off switch but has a dimmer too.

Very efficient and effective Its great! Some alarm companies cant see when residental homes are secured unless youve specified that service; with this app i can check on my home at any given moment to ensure my security that much more.

Can't connect- not reliable I am a business owner and had current system installed to be able to arm and disarm system remotely. Unfortunately, system does not connect reliably- if at all when dealing with partitions. If only using one partion where you do not have to use the keypad button to enter commands then it may work for you? But from a security point of view this system is not reliable. I do not recommend this app/honeywell system for serious remote control of your business or home especially with a partioned system.

HONEYWELL FIX YOUR APP Total connect has to be the worst app for my android cell I have ever used. Problems from very slow setting of alarm to saying it's alarmed on total connect and it's not actually set. To not being to disarm the alarm from cell. I use to trust honeywell products not any longer. The feed back response is not of what a company of this size . Also lately when u set the screen on total connect Web to view larger pic via your. Email or cell it changes back to small screen, then have to the process all over

Ed If this app is the best you can go it is not worth it. Wont show camera in real time. It will stop working you then have to log in again. The system is not worth having.

Besides being a bit buggy, the biggest improvement to this app would be to add a Push Notifications feature. Updates are few and far between. I have been using it for almost a year now and the fact that there are still no Push Notifications makes me wonder if it just not possible with their system. Relying on emails to inform me of an alarm event is definitely not how the way to go.

Push Notifications Push notifications directly from the app would be a huge and simple improvement to make. Emails and texts can sometimes be delayed. A material update would be nice too. Setting and disarming through the app is usually a slow process.

The company asked me for my pass code to get into my house The app is slow and doesn't sync right. When trying to work with me to fix the issue, they said they needed to know my house pass code. This was unacceptable to me. I will not be telling a stranger how to enter my home. Because I couldn't tell them my code, there was nothing they could do.

Update problems An update was available but everytime I tried it I would end up with a error 103. Followed all the troubleshooting steps with no results. So I deleted the app and tried to reinstall but now I have no app at all. So I am paying monthly to use an app that I can't use. Before this the app sometimes with a good wifi signal takes forever to work.

New app just as bad as the previous I have been with ADS which uses honeywell equipment for there video surveillance system. . What a joke. I have talked with ADS for 2 yrs trying to get this system to work. When open total connect and try to view a live video feed. It works great until a motion detection records then either there Web site or via email the pic is so small barley can read it. I am looking for my own system and leaving this crap system. Tired paying for something that works less then 50% of the time. Honeywell doesn't care

This apps is pretty straightforward and works well. The only thing I'd like added is the ability to add/edit/run scenes from my device. I see in the sample photos that there are supposed to be an "automation" option, but I do not have that on either my Android or iOS device.

Ruined by false advertising Northstar sold me an alarm and new thermostat with z-wave. Told me i could still use total connect 2.0 after the 42 months payments. Well no longer able to connect to either device because northstar decided to remotely deactivate wireless. Just want to know how to connect honeywell with zwave and get total connect to work without paying $56 per month.

When it works its great. The app works well, when it works. I am CONSTANTLY getting an error "Web Service Error, Web Service is currently down, please try again later". I only get this error using the app. Never using the website. I can rarely use the app as I get this error almost daily the ENTIRE day. I have emailed Honeywell with no response. If they would fix this issue or let me know how to fix it, I could taste this MUCH higher.

Issues Disarming Just got the app 3 days ago and I can't disarm the alarm for the building. I'm not the only one on our system that's having issues either. It's annoying having to open the door, have the alarm go off and have to disarm it via keypad when you make an app for it. Very frustrating.

Zwave garage door opener The Honeywell 5877 garage door opener doesn't work with Total Connect 2.0 on Android devices. It works on IPhone but I don't own an iphone. When using an IPhone you have to initiate another zwave device first like turning a light on or off before you can open garage. I am also on the latest version of the app.

Cannot install HTC onex throws error 103 everytime I attempt install. Google walk thru was useless. Issues were resolved quickly by tech support! Works like a charm now!

GLITCHY!!! Adjusting the temperature on this app is excellent in theory and horrible in practice. An everyday occurrence for me is when I adjust the temperature from 72 to 70 and after a few seconds the temperature shoots up to 75. I have to wait for the glitch to occur to then readjust the temperature. I've noticed other users have complained of the same thing.

Arms well I am able to arm my security system without a hitch. I always seem to have issues with the temperature addon. You choose a temperature and click done it logs you out of the program which is annoying. I rather see a apply button and then back to the main screen. Issues when i hit done my heat goes back to 19 instead of the 22.5 that i chosen. We end up adjusting it manually as we can't trust the app.

Extremely unreliable app I have constant connection issues and the app is unreliable and glitchy. At least 20% of the time that I try to disarm the alarm, it doesn't work, so I can't get into my house without setting my alarm off and having to call Ackerman security. It's very frustrating since I am paying extra each month to have this app and have no alternative choice in the app I can use. Especially since this involves the security of my house.

Since syncing no automation on phone I just synced my panel and the automation devices are no longer there on my phone. What's up with that????? Ive logged into VAM and TC on my computer and they are still there and operate, yet my phone shows "no automation devices". I sell your products for Falco Alarm Co. of Tulsa. I Like it.! would love it if you can adjust volume settings remotely.also it only worked twice out of the 6 times I've tried to remotely arm the system so you guys still have some work to do but i am in a semi remote area that doesnt get good cell service or so i am told. i use tmobile and never have had a problem with dropped calls or connection issues.

Its basic It arms and disarms like it should and does display arm/disarm time basic info. But I don't get any further information like I do when I'm looking at the panel. No temperature etc. Also, it does not load the sensors in my house as it should, it just keeps displaying "loading sensors" and then says there's nothing to display, over and over in an infinite loop until I just close the app.

App is great, but where are push notifications? I've started using this app for the past two weeks, and it definitely does what it says in the tin, with no freezing or crashing. But, while I want to be kept in the loop as to notifications, only having the options of an email or text are a bit inconvenient. Are there plans to make push notifications an option?

One feature that would make this app slick would be if there was a setting for the light scheduling that would say astronomical light switch. I find myself having to change my outdoor light timers constantly because of sunrise and sunset changing.

Works great so far! Downloaded this app to remotely control my Lynx 5200 alarm system. Works great and UI is easy to read and operate. Communication sometimes lags, but I'm assuming that has to do with method of connection (WiFi vs. 4G), but otherwise it works great and does what it's supposed to. I agree with others that push notifications would be a welcome addition, although my email notifications arrive pretty quickly as it is. Thanks guys, and keep up the good work!

Great app!! I was having issues and left a review. I was immediately contacted by Honeywell's customer support who has been fantastic!!!! GREAT communication. If you ever have an issue, contact them and hopefully you have the same good experience I did.

Good app.. But needs to keep up with IOS I work for an authorized Honeywell security company. Total connect has been a great additions for our customers and for our business. I recently installed a Lynx touch in my home with basic automation. The app works great, never have any issues. IOS recently got push notifications and would love to see that here. Also proper integration with Skybell would be great and a better lineup of cameras for the app would help.**in response to Dev reply. Yes I am aware iOS supports notifications. This app does not.

The design could be cleaner, but the app does a decent job when it works. I'd probably give it a 3 or 4 star rating, but can only give it 1 because it frequently is inoperable (due to a "Web Service Error"). An alarm system is mission critical, so an app that works half the time (at best) is not acceptable. I'd use a different system altogether if it didn't mean ripping out my entire security system. If you are installing a system from scratch in your home or business, I'd encourage you to research other options before settling on Honeywell.

App works, needs mutual feature support across devices I use this app daily, but I'm forced to use two apps to control security and comfort while the iPhone allows this all to be done via Total Connect if subscribed to automation with alarm co. Why not release new feature support at the same time so as not to mislead customers on possible features on different platforms? Anyway, looking for this sooner than later Honeywell. Thanks

Guardian Alarm The app only works about once a day and then I have to restart my phone to get the app to work again. Very iritating. If it wasn't that I must have this to work security system I would have got rid of this app a long time ago!

Works better on my wife's phone than mine. Wife has an iPhone 6. I have a Droid Turbo. It feels like I am missing options and buttons that she has access to. For instance, I cannot clear alarms from my phone but she can. At the bottom of my screen there is a vertical set of 3 dots that LOOK like they should be some sort of options button. Nothing happens when pushed though. Is the set of dots there to troll me forever and ever or is it actually supposed to do something? Thanks in advance, couldn't find a support button in the app either.

This darn thing is garbage. You set it to turn off your alarm, better double check because likelihood is it won't actually turn off and you'll be running a marathon back into your house to turn it off.

Works great.... But I installed NuTone garage door openers which are listed as compatible with the Tuxedo alarm system. The app thinks they are door locks, not garage doors therefore they do not work from the app while they work perfectly from the panel. Everything else works perfectly.

Overlapping videos I'm very disappointed that with my acct being paid advance 1 year having 2 cameras indoors & outdoor; outdoor being very important to me due to a stalker, I later discovered after being told I could save video, I can see video, only get to see the 1st 8 video clips of the recent ones when I log on app or web, videos before log on get wiped out from cameras overlapping. Company was rude when I called saying if I didn't like it they'll come and rip out my system and nothing about fixing it or refund 1300.00

Works great I love being able to arm and disarm the system remotely without having to give a visitor the password. I even find myself using it from the car so I don't have to turn the alarm off after I get inside the house. I also get an automated email every time the alarm is activated or disarmed. I have the system on both my home and office and I can see exactly what time my employees disarm the system each day

App not working on Verizon Network Just installed the app today and it works great on my internal wifi connection on my phone. But once I'm out the app won't let me log in and it stays on a black screen. Does anyone else have this app working on the Verizon Network? Besides this issue I love the app.

Minimal functionality Neither my thermostat or touch pad respond to the apps commands. The alarm can be armed and disarmed from the simulated keypad only. Update from my last review. Down to one star as the app still doesn't work correctly. While I can now arm the system from the standard app screen as well as the simulated touch pad it never registers as armed within the app so I can't disarm the system. The thermostat still isn't working. Once my contract is up with my installer I will move on to another company's system.

When It Works, It Works ... Sometimes it works. Sometimes I get a web service error. Sometimes it miscommunicates with the alarm, and locks the keypad for 15 minutes (being without an alarm for 15 mins is not good), sometimes asking the app to arm the alarm brings up the sensor status list instead. Sun rise and sun set I do not have a photo cell installed for my porch light, however I do have a z-wave switch for my front porch lights. It would be great if you would have a setting in the scenes to allow the light to turn on and off at sun rise and sun set. I could swear at on time It had this feature.

It's the most robust of all remote security services apps I have tried many apps like this. And most of them tell you the system is armed but when you get home it is not. Total Connect 2.0 does what it says it does. I am very happy with it and recommend it highly.

Not compatible with partitioned systems Although you can control a different partition from the virtual keypad, you cannot receive notifications on arms/disarms or alarms from any partition other than partition 1. When speaking with a technical support agent they mentioned they are aware of the problem and hopefully have the problem resolved at the end of the year but when I researched posts on the internet, people where complaining about this problem since 2012. Please solve this issue!

Poor Service Response Times Takes forever for anything to work. Half the time the app just locks up and does nothing. Loading the sensor list takes nearly 5 minutes if it works at all. Bypassing a sensor takes another 5 minutes on top of that. Extremely poor performance from this app. However, it's not the apps fault but how the back end Web service is written that this connects to. Needs a major overhaul.

Now that I've used it..... Never mind It never works and it's a pointless tool.. don't waste the space on your phone.

Can't live or sleep with out it! We have had our home alarmed for about 25 yrs. We have been called about it being triggered accidentally and been MANY miles away. Well, this marvelous app takes away so much anxiety about whether the house is secure or not. Now my parents' house is also alarmed, and in a matter of a minute, I know if they have armed their alarm or if something is wrong. The best peace of mind on my phone!

I can arm from phone or keypad but will not disarm from phone. I was out of town when the burglar alarm went off. After the sheriff's office cleared the house I tried to disarm the system and could not. I was out of town and had to return home in order to reset the system. My phone is a Android Galaxy 7 UPDATE: Since my last post Support has been in contact with me and working on my problem noted above. After posting my review Total Connect Support Team has stayed in contact with me everyday and as of yesterday have figured out it was a coding problem on my phone. My system is now operating as it was designed. It only took two days, in this world two days is quite awesome to get this kind of support from any support service.

Pretty much garbage.... Used your app to disarm and again, it doesn't connect... This has happened for almost a year.. The app periodically stops connecting to the system. Only fix is to reinstall? Why don't you fix it? I will be contacting my alarm provider to discuss options as this app is officially to unreliable for me.

Nice app and great support. Had an issue with sensors not showing up. Contacted support, but was resolved with sync of control board. Received an email describing how to proceed. It was already fixed! Very quick response.
