A MUST FOR THOSE WHO HAVE AN IPHONE IN A-STAN
"The GPS is right on the money (using a DAGR to compare with). The best and most useful feature is the capability to take pics with the coordinates stamped in ... a must have app for all deployed military members who actually leave the wire."
"Was just in Korea and the app worked perfect. The new nav to a grid is great also."

AppDaddy Technologies part of our Transportation and have average installs from 50000 to 100000. Last Update Dec. 30, 2013. Google play rating is 83.8755. Current verison is 1.34. Actual size 4.6 MB.
Does not yet work on S5 my main reason for buying this was to geotag my pictures with MGRS for planing military training CONOPs . Crashes every time you take a picture. Will update as soon as the 7$ app updates and works on my S5 at&t You can screen shot to achieve the desired picture, so far everything else works, if you like this app, mgrs grid reference might just do it
Missing critical features Needs: - Offline maps (because T-Mobile's data coverage is horrible) - Distance and bearing (for CAS) I've seen reviews requesting these same items from around 6 months ago, so I know I'm not alone in this.
I was using this app constantly. Now that I upgraded to the latest version of Android though, it quit working. Please fix.
Conflicts App works fine for finding location. Problem is. It interferes with everything. When I want to open files and documents this app conflicts and automatically tries to open them, then it takes you to a map where it attempts to find your location... if this didn't happen then it wouldn't be so bad..
Great app needs some work First of all to the creator of this app it is very helpful and convenient. However needs to be more user friendly, maybe a short walk through video would clarify some issues. DOES NOT seem very Land Navigation friendly. I am a 12 year marine veteran and former combat and tactics instructor. Needs to give an azimuth for waypoints. Granted whoever designed this app didn't intend it specificly for navigating point to point but rather plotting points and grids. Add azimuth and tutorial and I would give it 5
Needs someone to pick up This was a really great project, but really could use someone picking it up and running with it again. I hope the developers get back to it
Not ready for Android I have a Samsung Victory. I've been in the Army 28 years and have been using GPS since the beginning. This app is not ready for primetime with thia device..I don't know how other Android users are doing. Specifically...I cannot open a simple waypoint list. It has something called an "event list" which seems to drop waypoints every time you simply mark a location on the map. But as far as dropping, naming, then pull up a list...app can't do it. Much more but I ran out of space.
Elevation Great app but can an updated version include elevation?....necessary for CAS.
Great use for military navigation Use it all over the east coast for military land navigation, convoys, and tactical planning. However the android app doesn't have the addition of the military symbols line the apple version. If it did, would give 5 starts.
Dissapointing NO moving map. Yes, your position marker moves, but the map must be manually moved with it - annoying. NO configuration settings. NO offline map storage. NO compass calibration. NO feeling of credibility as a Mil-spec app 'for the troops' due to update lag. It does run without errors on an LG G3.
Import waypoints Great app but I wish there was a way that I could import/export waypoints and possibly even create and save routes. You can input a waypoint but you cant navigate to a saved waypoint. All it shows is a close up of your point. I would like to see where I am and where the point i am going to is. If there already is a function it is not showing for Androids. I would like to see a Latitude and Longitude input so I can work on the water with it. Looking forward to the upgrades.
Bugs and problems fixed Customer Service second to NONE. Had issues but they were addressed and fixed as quick as possible. Works great! Looking forward to updates and more advanced options. Love it and want more!
Needs updating I've used this on iOS and there's a ton of features not available on the android version. Why not? It's been a long time since any updates and developer promises but doesn't deliver. Can't recommend.
Not even close to the IOS version No instructions. Will not take a grid point entered. Very disappointed
No updates. expensive and featureless when compared to the iphone version. It's expensive when you consider that the version for the iphone is way better. Back in July of 2014 the developer promised that the app had not been forgotten and I should expect an update soon. It's now mid November and there is no update to be found. A real shame.
As a previous person stated it crashes whenever I try to take a picture. I also cannot load a way point list sent to me from an Iphone. I am using the Galaxy Note 2.
Samsung Galaxy s5 active issue Won't even acquire the location of my device. Will update as soon as someone tells me why I can't find myself in the middle of the Mojave.
Need to upgrade features still shows empty lots or property (buildings) need update satellite picture
Offline maps A must in my mind, other than that, great app
Great App Basically does everything you'll ever need.
Great but won't save pictures I've been waiting for this app to come to Android for a while. Everything works great except it will not save any pictures taken through the app, which is really what I bought it for. My phone is a Droid DNA. Hopefully this issue is resolved quickly.
Works well Wish you could color code way points, add color coded routs of ingress and egress leave notes, draw on the map as if it were a real map with a transparency on top , AO(s) numeric/alphabetic coded as well as a expandable mag grid with the option to view numeric / alphabetic call system. Maybe the option to enable real GPS tracking with other users of your choice (with a call sign and choice of unit type symbol as we as color coding for each ( maybe for admin purposes with force on force training
Basic setup Basically is has a great setup. Could be better. More tactical overlay options, routes, offline map capability. Keep building on this app.
Very helpful Good up to date overhead imagery
Stopped Working After Lollipop After androids latest lollipop update the app no longer functions as designed at all.
Waypoint Distance and Directions I'd like to be able to drop multiple waypoints on the map and be able to see the distance and direction from one way point to another not just the distance and direction from my position. I used this app on iphone, it was much better than this android version. Please make th is app better.
Support for Android Lollipop needed!
Always crashes when I try to take a picture with it
Awesome GPS is accurate enough to know what side of the house im in.
Too buggy Way too buggy app on S5. Closes on almost every action. Mailed developer four weeks ago...no reaction.
Love it Its accurate up to 1 meter. Verifed with army survey team.
Best way to navigate Easy to use perfect overlays
As described. Very good, and fast. Highly recommend
Does its job, but needs perms fixed. Requests too many permissions, and asks to run every time another file type needs access. Fix it.
Best The best app.
Thoroughly disappointed Deu to the maps not loading. Shows my grid, tracks my azimuth, but will not load a map.
A some for military Looks like it a good. Phone.
Sux! It doesn't work with the Note 4. Disappointed.
Great start for the Android. Camera crashes on the note 4.
Great App Thank you for a wonderful and useful app. I have had great success marking out routings for hikes and way points etc. PLEASE add a tool to calculate distance from way point to way point as well as cumulative total distance and adding the first 2 reference numbers onto the yellow grid lines and then I will absolutely upgrade to 5 stars. Thank you very much for a great tool.
No interoperability Severely lacking in the interoperability with its apple counterpart. Also,it lacks many of the features seen on Apple. I only purchased it to be able to recieve map overlays for the TOC , which it cannot do. Purchased over a year ago and it's still lacking the same functionality as iOS. Good concept, great on Apple, disappointing on Droid.
Thanks! So smart phone applications for the military are definitely a niche thing - especially since the military has their own suite of software and private development going on, as well as their own security concerns. In it's current state on the Android operating system, this app provides a useful tool for pulling your current 10 digit grid, as well as the cursors grid. There is the ability to save way points, but could be improved. I appreciate this app for what it is, not what it could be. Thank you.
??? So what does it do?? Extremely limited functionality. Let's you just place way points save them retrieved saved sets sure but I can't do anything with the way points. No distance from one to the other or route setting.
Great Military App If you do a lot of navigation in your field of work this app is legit. No issues and always gives the right grid. A must for any deployable Soldier.
Great potential This app has everything you need for general grid references Maps but I'd like to see 8 figure grid reference lines option this would make it easier to pinpoint Pacific location on a map
Relatively nice Could use offline maps and a red light feature that carries into the compass
Excelent A must have one for each team's member!
Great! Works a treat. Even with only GPS running
Great APP, would love to see version for gear S watch
Love it for pulling a 10 figure grid reference but missing some features that anyone in the field would definitely want...
Was this app discontinued no updates for a year Can't get camera to play nice with tax nav on my note 4
love it, but cant get it to import wapoints
Offline Maps If you include offline Maps this App will be almost perfect. When you do I will give you 5 stars
Need to upgrade features still shows empty lots or property (buildings) need update satellite picture , now this is 2016 and there's no response from you guys and still no updates
Sir can we please get an update? This app desperately needs offline capabilities. And also needs to be on par with IOS. Android users are being left in the dark. As a 19D I use it all the time.
It works Everything that I need to get the job done
As is it could be far worse However, it is now nearly three years since the last update. There are bugs big and little needing addressed, and missing features that would make this app invaluable to all users. If these things continue to remain ignored, it wouldn't be long before another developer came up with something that would completely render this one obsolete
No updates. expensive and featureless when compared to the iphone version. July of 2014 the developer promised that the app had not been forgotten and I should expect an update soon. July 2015 no update has been pushed
Falls short of Apple version I'm not able to input proper MGRS grid, there are no tactical graphics to use, not able to measure distances between points.
dont get if your australian the map tiles would not download for my area in australia and was very buggy. would be great if this could be fixed as the concept is awesome.
Camera function does not work on Droid MAXX Ive seen this app work great on another phone but for some reason it crashes when I try to use the camera function
This app can help me to find a way out when someone or me get lost. I am getting used to it.
Love the app, but Need an offline mode. I'm in the military and use this app a lots when training. But if I go oversea without data, this app is useless. Need a way to save the map for offline use
