Tablet Talk: SMS & Texting App

Tablet Talk is a tablet SMS texting app that lets you text from a tablet and even make voice calls, while your phone stays in your pocket! It works with all Android tablets, including Nexus, Galaxy, Note, and Kindle Fire tablets. Unlike other apps, Tablet Talk doesn't force you to use a new phone number... your friends, coworkers, and family can contact you with your existing Android phone number. In addition, Tablet Talk does not require an Internet connection, does not store your data, and does not eat your battery!

Our customers love Tablet Talk! Here's what some of them have to say:

★ "By far my most-used app. When I'm home my phone stays hidden on my desk."

★ "Officially the coolest app I have... Works great with the Nexus 7 and the HTC Thunderbolt phone."

★ "This is one of the most useful apps on Google Play."

★ "Love it! I've tried almost all of the tablet texting apps and I like this one the best! Most important to me is that It's private and secure - it doesn't use some third party company/website where my conversations are stored, all my texts are between the recipient and myself like they should be. I love the look, the layout, and the optional themes."

★ "I am a General Contractor and Tablet Talk is one of the most used apps on my Android phone and tablet. I will never be without it."

How does it work? Tablet Talk pairs your Android phone to an Android tablet over Bluetooth or WiFi (sorry, iPads, iPhones, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry are not supported). Incoming text messages on your phone instantly appear on your tablet. Start texting from a tablet on the larger keyboard, without having to reach for your phone! You can even make tablet phone calls (Bluetooth headset required).

Features include:

★ Privacy. Unlike other Android texting apps, Tablet Talk directly syncs SMS/MMS messages between the tablet and Android phone. No uploading or saving on company servers.

★ Speed. Tablet SMS notifications are almost instant. The tablet rings in real-time when you have a call!

★ Flexibility. Text anywhere, anytime, with or without Internet access. No mobile data is used to sync SMS. Easily switch between Bluetooth and WiFi. You can even link your tablet over your Android phone’s Wi-Fi hotspot, or over Bluetooth when Bluetooth tethering!

★ Quick Reply Popups and rich expandable Notifications.

★ Caller ID. Do you use a Bluetooth headset with your phone? Combined with Tablet Talk, you can dial and answer calls on the tablet, including a full call log. The phone stays in your pocket, or in its charger!

★ Android support: Tablet Talk works with newer versions of Android, including Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (used on the new N7 tablet).

★ There's more: MMS & group MMS support, custom themes, DashClock Extensions, Android SMS delivery reports, emoticons/smilies, backup and restore tablet SMS to phone … the list goes on!

Installation instructions:

Install Tablet Talk on both your tablet and Android phone, but only pay for it once. After you buy the app on your tablet, it will be made free for your phone on the Play Store. Here’s how to complete the installation:

1. Open the Play Store on your phone.

2. Press menu and select Settings-> Accounts. Select the account used to get the app on your tablet.

3. Press the menu button again and select “My apps.” Tablet Talk should be listed and available to install.

Tablet Talk works with all popular Android SMS apps, and does not replace how you text on your phone. If you use Go SMS, Handcent, or MIUI please see the FAQ in Tablet Talk or the Tablet Talk website for a quick and easy fix if messages do not automatically sync to the tablet.

If you would like to try Tablet Talk we use a 48 hour refund policy. Just send us an email anytime after the Play Store 15-minute period.

Best app ever! I only wanted this app so I could use my tablet (mounted in my truck) to make phone calls over my stereo as I don't want to mount my phone because its too small, and I use the tablet as a wireless media player and information center displaying OBD II information. I do not think this could work better! Very excited! My only question is, does it have support to add 2 different phones??

Jeff Simon

I wish it worked for me, but I couldn't get the messages that kept appearing on my phone to go away. I received them, read them using the default text tool, and my phone kept telling me I had all these messaged I hadn't read. u couldn't look at the message waiting light and know if it was a new one, or one of the dozen left in Tablet Talk limbo? I'd like to get my $ back if I could please? Unless u want to fix it?

Had Burdick

Tablet Talk Pro: For the most part works great. Can send text messages from my tablet. Almost foolproof. Would definitely recommend. Con: On long texts message appears to be cut into 2 -3 lines, becoming several texts, but very readable. Could be just my tablet & phone combo.

Hwn Rohrbacher

Almost perfect. The app works great. However I have a Sony Xperia Z3 Dual SIMM dual standby Phone. SIMM 1 is AAT in USA which is set as default on the phone itself through settings. SIMM 2 is international. The app keeps switching between the two SIMMs when sending texts. Is there any way to specify which SIMM to use? When using the international SIMM I get charged by the SMS. This can get expensive in short order. Any help would be appreciated.

Good but needs some additional features I have a nexus 7 integrated as my car media system, and use tablet talk to answer calls and see sms's, one problem though is that is pauses some of my media players when I answer a call, but doesnt then restart certain ones when the call is completed, which is kind of a pain, can you fix this to send a play command to the previously played media when the call ends please, apart from that little bug a great app For example it stops and then restarts play with tune in radio, but with N7player it will stop the madia, but then wont restart it, I have to start the app and press the play button, which is kind a a pain when I am driving, Same thing also happens with absolute radio app, and maybe some others. For that reason, and its quite a big issue for me, I am giving you 3 stars, if I didnt need to play the media then I would give 5 stars, hopefully you can fix it and I can upgrade the rating to 5 stars. Thanks

ERIC FERGUSON

It works, but... It's exactly what I was looking for but sadly it doesn't work for MMS. It receives picture texts but will not any multi-party MMS and will not send any MMS. When sending it loses the sync connection and sending never completes. I tried all settings, copied MMS network settings from the phone. The messaging app for the phone force closes immediately. There's plenty other messaging apps and ways to make calls with a tablet so those elements are irrelevant. It looks very nice, synced easily over Bluetooth and Wifi including public mode. Sent message to support, elevated to next level, too late for refund, nothing heard after a month.

Mat Hildebrand

Can't use on a data connection Was hoping to forward texts/calls to another phone without using up SMS and voice limits (going through data), but apparently if you don't connect to WiFi it wont let you... silly limitation.

A Google User

Works great on Coby MID7012, Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 The only thing I was missing on my tablet was the ability to text using my cell number. This program fixed that. As for calls, I can't answer them from my tablet but I can see incoming and I can hang up or reject and I get a missed call notification. Love it! Edit: I use this on my Note 3 and my Samsung Galaxy Camera 2. it's the only app that gave me texting and caller ID from my camera with my real phone number. Way to go dev!

Mick Wright

Awesome App!! Only problem I have is since my Nexus 7 2013 was upgraded to Lollipop I can no longer answer phone calls. Worked fine before. Is this a known issue? Keep up the great work!!!

John Petersen

Keeps crashing on Samsung Note 4 I've used this app before and had stopped for a while. I decided to go back to it, but now it keeps crashing every time I use it on the phone. Seems to be OK on the tablet. If it can be fixed I will update my rating.

Steve McKenzie

Awesome App I use this app every day. It is well crafted and thought out and just works! Well done dev!

Drew Baldock

Great app, but major flaw Great app, interface is clean and easy to use, but a major bug is causing me a lot of problems. When a call comes in on my phone and the tablet picks it up, even if I don't answer with the tablet, when the call ends, all I get a black screen on my tablet (Nexus 9) and it becomes complete unresponsive. The only way to get out of this is to reboot the device. When I'm getting calls every 10 minutes during the day, rebooting my tablet 50 times in a day just doesn't work. I unfortunately can't use this app going forward until this is resolved.

Jackson McGinnis

Need bug fixes for tab s/gs5!!! Absolutely love this app, but i cant send pictures or group messages without it disconnecting then immediatly reconnecting and it never sends the message. Very annoying. Otherwise its amazing, best 3 bucks i spent

James Morrison

Works amazingly Works perfectly between my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) both running Lollipop ?. Nice to see a recent update. Any more themes planned for future? Would enjoy a material theme!

A Google User

Awesome app Sometimes dc because of poor wifi connection but I don't mind as it's understandable if your wifi's weak. Bluetooth is always there anyway. Perfect bridge for Samsung Galaxy Nexus and ASUS Nexus 7 Tablet.

Barry Foxworth

Love this app! Gets 5 stars if it would stay connected to my phone. If I don't keep connecting it, I lose my texts on my tablet. Am I doing something wrong? I'd surely like to know.

Erek Reyes

Tablet talk ftw Useing tablet for car audio and this is a must have to mute audio and take calls ......hope thay make it so audio is routed thew the tab too. Thanks guys.

Nick Bryda

Exactly what I wanted! It's too bad this app isn't more popular. It's amazing. I've been looking for an app like this for a long time. I've tried all the other tablet SMS apps that connect to you phone and was very disappointed with all of them. They all go through a third party service but more annoyingly they ate batteries for breakfast. Even worse there was no way to disable the connection. Say I leave the house with my phone and leave my tablet at home. It's pointless to continue to send my texts to my tablet. Just a waste of resources. This app uses a local connection either wifi or bluetooth and I can close the app when I leave home. Best of all it doesn't eat my battery! And a cool feature none of the other apps have is the ability to answer phone calls from my tablet!

Joe Schoutens

Great app, until recent update. It was working JUST FINE until this update (1.9.7). Now intermittent connectivity. Also, connection orb on phone is red, while text beside orb says 'connected.' Really? How can this be considered an 'update' when functionality is DECREASED? It's as though we've been reverted to a 'beta' version of the app. Where you planning on fixing this problem? Or would you at least consider re-releasing the previous, functional version of the app? Samsung Galaxy S5.

Jacob Flanagan

One major flaw... That perseveres. This app works well, but STILL has an annoying issue - if I make a call from my phone while connected to the tab, the tab never seems to notice (so it won't pause music for instance)... Why?

Andrei Cocari

Cant answer/end calls from tablet Used to work fine but now I can't answer or cancel income calls. I can see the popup on the tablet, but clicking either button does nothing.

Blake Stacks

Great until lollipop I really love the app, it worked great until I upgraded to lollipop. Now every time I click on a message thread it crashes because it doesn't explicitly call the messageactivity or something like that. I sent in a bug report about a month ago and the developers still haven't fixed it. It seems simple to fix, but until they fix it, my app rating will suffer.

Peter Jackson

Still deciding if it is useful enough I initially installed on my Nexus 7 and my Z2 to let my tablet connect to the SMS. That worked well. Then I realized this would be a better solution for my 2 phones, 1 smartwatch problem, and changed my Z2 to be "tablet" and my Sola to be the phone. This has been less awesome. Pros: Notifications on my Z2 for SMS to my Sola show up on my smartwatch! Can use second device for reading and sending messages. Cons: Disconnects, and a bit hard to reconnect (Bluetooth). Might be the phones rather than the app. Keeps an "active" notification all the time (can't see where to turn off) Says there are 272 unread messages, clicking crashes the app, can't clear (keeps returning)

Greg Boddy

New update = Crash on boot Loved the app. App got updated, and now crashes upon boot making app completely useless. Xperia Z Ultra running 4.4.2 -- reverted back to 1.9.9.3 and everything is 100% fine. Update breaks app.

Domonic Haynie

An App Worth Paying For Simply put, the App works flawlessly for me. I just got the Tab S, and I can now use this at home and work in place of my phone. I haven't tried calls, but I was mainly concerned with texting. There are also a lot of settings like any good messaging app would have. The fact that you can choose Bluetooth OR WiFi syncing is also pretty incredible.

Suzanne Cherry

Not impressed so far... Just downloaded it and my Samsung 10.1 tab and Note 4 will not stay connected too each other? Hopefully I am doing something wrong!

Pat Higgins

Great app, BUT.... Have Samsung tablet 3 and Samsung Avast phone both running ver. 4.4.2. Since getting the new phone I can't send pictures or group messages from the tablet without it disconnecting then immediately reconnecting and it never sends the message. Previous phone/tablet worked fine for MMS, but had constant reconnect problems not so with the Avant. Tried the MMSC address setting, but still no go. Please fix!

Good app UPDATE 5.2014: With the updates that I have been made aince my first review.. this app has been flawlessly working for me. The screen/lcd and digitizer broke on my SgS3 and im only able to use my phone by voice commands until I can afford another phone. Ive always kept TabletTalk on my cel because I like the flexibility of not being tied to one device. Its made my life so much easier considering my phone is nearly useless without this app as well as Teamviewer... THANKS DEVS. ***********Orig Msg****

Trisha Lynn

It used to be great Will not make calls. It says "International calling is not available" when I made a test call to my husband's phone while he was sitting next to me

Jerry Mathew

Can't trigger to answer calls from tablet I'm able to reject calls from my tablet and even silence the phone ringer, but clicking the call answer button does not do anything...this forces me to use my Bluetooth headset or the phone itself to answer the call which is inconvenient

KB Merz

So far so good There are some ways I have not tried to use this app.(skydiving and repelling, come to mind) I think I may like it.

Peter Jones

Used to work well Nexus 10 lollipop. Can't use the Home button anymore when this app I'd running else I'd give 5 stars.

Frank Reiter

Mostly good ... but every time you take your phone away from your tablet they disconnect (obviously) and they DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY RECONNECT when you return. This means you must manually reconnect them every time you have been away.

John McDonald

The best app out for tablet/phone a MUST HAVE I purchased this product to allow my tablet to be used in my car. It works perfectly allowing Car Home ultra to seamlessly connect to my cell phone. I can use navigation, talk text and voice commands without the need to purchase a mobil tablet. Thank you to the developer for making a truly useful product. 5 stars plus, This is a must have if you are a tablet user. Used on a Galaxy S5 and Nexus 7 2013

Dave Siegel

Texting Excellence I have tried several texting apps from a tablet and have never found one as comprehesive as this one.

Chris Navarro

Wish it would work for me again I can't use my Nexus4(L 5.1) in tablet mode. If you tap a conversation, tablet talk crashes. If you send a message using the envelope button, it will send the message and then immediately crash

Jovit Magdaong

Crashes On my z3 dual and z3 tablet compact, latest update crashes. Im on lollipop for both devices

A Google User

Widget When my Nexus 7 updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Tablet Talk widget (2x1) does not indicate if I am connected. It use to be green, red or yellow, now its just white.

Will Leslie

Great Does what it promises - makes my life easier at home only having to check one device. Suggestion - have a future version work with BBM!?

Михаил Оденица

Problem with design. Material design - did you heard about it? App is good, but you need to use material design to make it better. And dialer is awful. Look at stock lolipop dialer and use it.

Алексей Бондаренко

Please!!! Add whatsapp notification

Leda Leda

Please, make 240-240 screen optimisation!

Rimma Ivonina

The app does not work anymore. It force closes everytime. Cleaning and reinstallation does not help. (SM-T311, 4.2.2 stock)

Олег Гололобов

Fix BT bugs plz! I have a BT connection issue with an iconBIT Callisto 100 watch-phone (Omate Truesmart clone). SMS are sent from my tablet to the watch only after re-connecting. Fix it please!

A Google User

Awesome app Sometimes dc because of poor wifi connection but I don't mind as it's understandable if your wifi's weak. Bluetooth is always there anyway. Perfect bridge for OnePlus One phone and ASUS Nexus 7 Tablet.

Lorraine Brown

Love it Thanks for making an app that works like it says. Just bought based on reviews and it is fantastic. Calls are clear and text come through smoothly. I now can make calls and text on my tablet. Thanks you

Peggy Dombrowski

Disappointed Unable to send pictures now that I upgraded phone. Go figure. .makes no sense and can't any support for my problem after 2 e-mails

RUBY ANGELS

Great Potential The works amazing once you have everything set up. Set up is complicated and time consuming. Once you install the app and attempt to get everything set up it works great. I have used it for a few hours and have had no issues. I hope the improvements can be taken into consideration and guaranteed this app would be a 5 ***** Rating. Thank you

Cem Ersen

I want a refund It doesn't work with my nexus 7, fails to give sound from tablet, fails to take the calls on the tablet, only can ignore the calls but can't take it! I want a full refund!

Bart Schuck

I just installed (11/06/2015). On the phone (as others have noted) I keep getting notification of text that I got 4 days ago, so it should not even show up in this app. I dismiss it on the phone but it comes right back. Equipment: Phone: Samsung Note3 and tablet: Samsung NotePro12.2. I had to force stop it on the phone.

Chris Richardson

Talk feature does not work. And nobody will help. Despite several emails all ive managed to get in response, several times, was that someone would contact me. Nobody ever did.

Dawn Morgan

Didn't Like It.... I'm giving one star for the fact that you can use your cell number for this. Other than that, I sent a few text messages to people, and the message was sent in annoying broken paragraphs, unlike one whole paragraph when I text from my phone. Also, I couldn't get my phone and tablet to stay synced throughout the day-I had to keep checking to make sure both devices were enabled. This was too much bother for me. I'll just keep my phone handy for texting while I'm using my tablet. Will uninstall this app.

ERIC FERGUSON

Exactly what I want but it doesn't work well. Receives pictures but no group MMS. Sending any MMS it loses sync & send never completes. I tried all settings, copied MMS network settings from the phone. It doesn't know slight differences in numbers such as +1 country code from someone in contacts without it. Messaging app for phone force closes immediately. No support response in a year.

Frogman D.

Glad I got it. Works surprisingly well even when apps are open. I can set the phone down when I get home and just be on the tablet. I wish I could answer calls as well, over speaker phone rather than needing bluetooth

Chris Green

An Update In 2015 Even A Remote Possibility? It seemed like the app was stale & hadn't been updated in a while but I would never have guessed almost 2 years. Sheesh.... Can this thing get some better smileys. The purpose of this app is to keep me from having to reach for the phone when on my tablet so it's ridiculous that I would have to pick it up simply to add an emoticon....

Phillip Vasquez

Excellent Just what I was looking for real nice . absolutely fantastic app must have . Wish there was a way to use the dialer while in a phone call. My phones screen broke and the screen won't turn on when in a call.

Michael Lowery

Tablet talk If you don't have this app you are missing out. I don't even use my phone ? when I'm home ?..great app love ❤. Now I can send mm on my tablet. This app is great on my samsung s10.

Freddie Drake

Tablet talk I'm using Samsung s3 SPH L710T sprint/Boost but I first bought this app on a LG660Tribute and I'm having a little problem. seems it wants me to pay again. I've all ready have the app on my tablet.? So! Just installing on my samsung device to my LG v700.Tab. Anyway great app. Thanks for doing what you do :-)

Max Zisman

Update 9/4/15: Issue with incoming calls has not been resolved. I am also having issues with my tablet (nexus 7) and phone (moto maxx) staying connected. They will connect when I start using both and then I see toast notifications that the connection has been lost after about 5 mins. It will not automatically reconnect and since I am using this in the car, cannot safely reconnect the devices. I have tried using the fixes in the settings but no luck. Please take care of these issues! This app was so great when it worked.

Mehran Imamverdi

It does the job I am rating this app after, over, 9 months of use to 1 star for t following reasons: WiFi connection is not stable and most of the times does not connect specially is you switch networks. Bluetooth works fine when both the phone and the tablet are on, it disconnects as soon as the tablet goes to sleep. On the other hand it keeps restarting on the phone which slows it down and drains the battery. I, unfortunately, had to uninstall it

James M. Woodward

Has widely varied quirks on Marshmallow This hasn't seen an update in quite some time. Bugs: The connected status can be a downright lie. Think you're connected? Think again, you're missing stuff. MMS sending or receiving? Nope. Don't try, you'll get disconnected. Simple SMS back and forth works until it randomly disconnects despite doze being disabled and so forth.

A Google User

Awesome app! Sometimes dc because of poor wifi connection but I don't mind as it's understandable if your wifi's weak. Bluetooth is always there anyway. Perfect bridge for OnePlus One phone and ASUS Nexus 7 Tablet.

Patrick Hobeiche

Piece of junk Keeps crashing on my phone, doesn't allow me to open the messages or to start sms chatting. Can't clear the notifications from this app on my phone. Very simple app, waste of money. Some free apps in Google play are much better than this crappie software

LAB

Love it Thanks for making an app that works like it says. Just bought based on reviews and it is fantastic. Calls are clear and text come through smoothly. I now can make calls and text on my tablet. Thanks you

Tiju Chacko

Amazing work guys. Awesome APP. I really wanted this for my standalone smart watch. I had problem in pairing it with the watch (not the app prob) but the screen size of watch. I solved could that also. It really serves the purpose. I can see the call and mess while i am driving, User friendly. Does not drain too much battery competitively. Tested it properly.Wish it has whatsapp notification it would have been the best.

Abid Mughal

Potential to be great. I am using this on my Xperia Z3 and Nexus 7 which I've setup in my car as a nav/media unit. I am having a few issues, when i get into my car and I want to connect to the tablet i have to close the apps on both devices and reopen before I am able to connect which sucks. What I would have liked is an option to auto-connect in a way where if I leave my Nexus, when i return to it it auto-connect without me having to do anything. Better still there should be an option to keep the app running in the background searching for connection unless told otherwise. Also I have noticed the IP address of which my tablet is trying to connect to is displaying incorrectly for some reason (missing 2 digits), no matter how many times I manually change it. When its connected it work fairly well with only a few things I can see that need to be improved. Firstly and most importantly I've noticed a massive inconsistency with the ability to answer calls from the tablet... declining calls works everytime but more often than not the answer option does not work. Secondly there is no integration with google voice search, I'de love to be able to tell my nexus "Call John" and it call John.

Federico Piffari

Problem with audio during call I have a tablet linked to car audio via aux but when I receive a call I hear it trough the smartphone and not trough the tablet aux (car audio system), even if I tap on Bluetooth icon on call screen...why?...I bought this app for that, but it looks that it doesn't work...

Mike Sebel

Was the best app until i upgrade my phone and tablet. Now they wont connect to each other on any level. And like a previous review the message indicator on the phone hangs now - it just wont go away. Dissapointing but i got a couple of years of good service.

ardan aldabag

not good with Samsung s6 edge. It can't make call silence

Jeremy C

Excellent to have text "mirrored" to my tablet! So far this works pretty great. I have used it for a few weeks now and it has only missed a couple texts. I also have a work phone that I installed it on and told her it that it was a tablet also. That way I can mirror these to one or the other when I want to at home. I use my personal cell as my hot spot in the house and like to leave it on a charger except that keeps me from seeing texts. This solves that problem nicely!

Andrew Macqueen

Needs work 1st thing. .it does sync my contacts and I can send and receive texts very well..well done. 2nd thing is the problem..it will dial on tablet no problem however nobody can hear me as the microphone on the phone is being used, not on the tablet..the whole point of this purchase was for the tablet to be able to make and recieve calls whilst keeping my phone safely tucked away in my pocket or within Bluetooth radius ..can you help ? And lastly..where are the themes?

Antony Casamento

I only bought this for the sole purpose of using my nexus 7 2013 in my car as an infotainment system. My nexus 7 connects to my s6 edge, both are on android 5.1.1. It's a good app, meaning it can send and receive texts. It'll notify you on the tablet that there is a phone call. What is NOT good is that the green 'answer' button does not do anything. I can dial from the tablet, but not answer any incoming calls. This is a major no no, and is literally the only reason I paid for this app. I couldn't care less about the texting feature, I never use it. I only bought it for the answering/making/ending/declining calls function on the tablet. Severely disappointed. Can the developer please make an appearance? If other's mindset is like mine, those who paid money for this app aren't solely after fixes and patches from the dev, but at least just an acknowledgment from him/her and a definitive answer as to if this app is still being developed or if it has been abandoned. Either way, we'll know and I, for one, can look elsewhere for my specific application needs. Thanks a lot.

Max Zisman

Update 4/21/16: Issue with incoming calls has not been resolved. I am also having issues with contact information showing up on the tablet when making calls. All outbond calls show up as "0". Incoming calls are logged correclty (but cannot be answered. I have tried using the fixes in the settings but no luck. Please take care of these issues! This app was so great when it worked.

Chuck Beyer

Trying it out Bluetooth works. Got wifi working.Tried to call fom tab. Would not work. Maybe only bluetooth calling. I have used mighytext in the past on tab which commuicates with phone by tunneling through gmail account. So I can leave phone at home, get my texts and call via my magicjack app over wifi. The distributor of tablet talk should create a youtube video about the app rather than leaving buyers to lurch around without instructions. Not sorry I paid for this app but I wont uninstall mightytext

Dr.BRIBIN BRIGHT

Wow This made me connect My SmartWatch No.1 D5 to my s6 edge to call and text. Superb. Thankyou so much for the developer. But i had to access connecting through teamviewer, since the tap to connect option is not visible in the round screen of watch. So kind request for an update with changing the tap and connect option ( Bluetooth icon) to autoconnect or in the main setting page please

Will McKibben

So far so good! Update 5/58/16: From what I've read this app is no longer being supported by the developer. So be aware, if it works it works; if not, don't expect it to be fixed. Does not work with LG G2 and Samsung 7.7 Tab. Using this app with a Droid RAZR Maxx & a Samsung 7.7 Tab. Works well and lets me keep an eye on messages while working without having to keep checking my phone.

Curtis Ellis

Very user friendly Just the app I've been looking for! My only complaint is that I can receive pictures from recipients, but I can't send any out. I get an app disconnect error each time, and it will not send once the app automatically reconnects. Using Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Black and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Phone. Other than that, it's still a great recommended app! If I can get the MMS to work for outgoing messages, then it's definitely a 5

Colleen Martin

Just one problem Great app, but I can't seem to send attached pictures. Regular SMS is fine, but can't get the app to send a picture. I keep getting "bluetooth connection lost" message when I attempt to send. I tried increasing the timeout time, but that hasn't helped. I can send the same exact picture via my phone with no problem.  I'm using your app on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and a Samsung Note 3 - both Sprint. Any ideas?

willis york

wife likes this app, but she can not figure out how to pair with bluetooth, and have a bluetooth headset also connected at the same time. Is this even possible? The 'answer call' button on her tablet, sadly wont answer the call. But we think it worked once. i THINK it worked once, and she was able to talk through the tablet but she cant get it to do this a second time, She answers calls on the tablet, and the phone speaker kicks on. so its limited usefulness for her.

Edward Shephard

Great app! Does exactly what they say it does. Use it with Bluetooth between my Galaxy S5/6, Tab S and Motorola Xoom 2. Tried wireless and that worked, too. I just prefer Bluetooth. Does NOT require any kind of internet access - which was my top reason for using this app. I use my devices like one of other reviewers has mentioned and don't have internet while driving. Love this app. Nice to find one that's well written and functions as stated.

Arinder M

Good app! Very good app! Just one small recommendation: assuming you are using the WiFi connection mode, when you turn on your Hotspot.. There should be an automatic feature that enables tablet talk in WiFi mode.. Right now you have it set up for Bluetooth so when Bluetooth turns on.. The app is enabled however it changes its setting of connection from WiFi to Bluetooth.

Started off as a 5 star but had to go to 3 star. Tablet Talk on phone and Tablet via bluetooth kept disconnecting for just a second at a time and then reconnecting. Not a huge problem if you aren't listening to music via bluetooth. However I only use this in my car and I am always listening to music so when I was listening to music via bluetooth it skips every time the phone and tablet would disconnect and reconnect. Not a great experience.

Using it in vehicle I'm using this on my tablet that I installed into my truck on the dash. I use the tablet for a dedicated GPS and this app is great for call notifications while driving. Calls pop up on the screen and I can then answer and talk via my Bluetooth. I have an older truck so I use a separate Bluetooth speaker and I now have the same functionality that my wife has in her new car.

Descent app that does pretty well. Only issue I can find is that when you tap the accept phone call button (the green icon) it doesnt answer the call... The end button and mute button work fine... Anyone know how to resolve it? Dev please reply. Thanks

Almost perfect! Have used this app for 4 years, 3 different phones and 2 different tablets. Has never let me down! With changes to Android the app no longer marks messages as read, if Notification Access was implemented this app would be perfect.

Brandi Tucker

Was a good app The app shows I have new messages in my notifications list and I can't clear them. I don't use this as my default messaging app and the messages it says are new are actually up to a week old. Really annoying and it does it in multiple phones. My Samsung galaxy phones and my Samsung note phones. I like the app, just hate the notification flaw. I'll be searching for a replacement. I expected more from an app I paid for.

Please remove "messaging" app from my phone App works great and does exactly what it says it will, but it installed a useless "messaging" app on my phone that won't send texts. When my phone first starts up and I try to go to my stock messaging app it forces me to go to the useless messaging app until it crashes and then allows me to use my stock messaging app. Please remove this or at least make it optional and this would be a 5 star app.

It's great concept Would give 5 starts if it could be properly connected and stay connected at idle for more than an hour. If I silence my phone and then use my tablet and it kicks after an hour or so and I don't know about it cause still says connected.

Awsome! Really this is a useful app. Seems stable. I sent them a email on things I thought might need to be changed but after using the app on a daily basis I see they have really thought it through. Running a Tab that is 5.1.1 and ph is 4.1.2 Thx

It used to work I've been using this for over a month without issue, now it won't even connect to my phone when it's sitting right in front of me and it's paired. Makes no sense to me. I'm uninstalling this

Update broke it! Even after updating my pad (Nexus 7 2013) to Lollipop it worked fine. But after updating this app on Dec. 15th it quit working. Apparently the problem is my phone, Moto-X 2013. It crashes immediately on launch... Please help me go back to the previous version.

Worked awesome before marshmallow Marshmallow broke this app on my note 4. Used to work amazing, now Bluetooth will not connect. Unfortunately there's no other alternative and this app has been dead since 2014...

Poor contacts importing Didn't import photos or all the names of contacts from phone. On group messages misses half or more of group. I'm looking for something better. Doesn't show messages pictures. Also uses wrong pictures of contacts, very confusing. Deleted app.

Doesn't work, too many limitations I downloaded it to use with my tablet and Bluetooth speakers (that are built to take calls) but it doesn't work with the speakers and still asks you to connect bluetooth headsets. It is unfair that this app is a paid one even when it has so many limitations and has not been fully developed. I now have paid for an app that doesn't work for the intended use. If I had a chance to try it first I wouldn't have wasted mymoney on it.

Nice app - I have been using this app for over two years and really like it. My only issue has been with my cell & tab staying connected. The lost connection issue is probably due to my battery saver & task killer.

Almost a good app ... Almost Does some of what it says, but I am unable to answer my phone using my tablet (not attempting to speak through the tablet, just hit answer). Emailed support a week ago, no response. Will change rating if it is fixed and I get a response.

Josh Weavil

Works for texting... It does everything it claims though after searching their website I feel missinformed. They claim you cant use the mic or speaker of the tablet for phone calls saying its a limitation in android. That is not true, LGs android tablets will do this with the lg phone and their app. If you can figure out how to make it work like they did then you would have the best app of this nature!

Robert Wojtow

Use Mighty Text Instead Does not send pictures, disconnects every time you try to. Group texts come in scattered and not in order. No replying to group texts. Bad engineering.....

Dropping rating, not because of malfunction But because of lack of support. Every time I click a conversation, the app crashes. Okay, bugs happen. But I cannot accept no support for an app I paid for. No responses to my email.
