Whats new

    - HD Calling (Beta) update: in addition to improved reliability, we simplified the settings for HD Calling. Visit the settings page to confirm your preferences.
    - Swipe to call & archive: on the Recents list, swipe right to call a contact, or swipe left to archive that conversation thread. Don't worry, this won't delete your conversation.
    - Department voicemail transcriptions: search results will now include department voicemail transcriptions (in addition to your personal ones).
    - Other fixes

Yuck Definitely advertised to be more than it really is. It's just a glorified call forwarding service with a high price tag. I can't believe they don't offer an auto attendant/company greeting which is the most common of all business pbx features. This entire concept should still be in BETA testing. It's not even close to ready for business use. At a high price tag of $15/mo PER USER, the app/service is not nearly as affordable as other solutions on the market. Very disappointed.

Mobility Flexibility For v1.7 - Love that I am able to be on the go and receive all my business calls / text directly to my cell. Esp. the dept. line, how it will route to my entire dept. or ring me directly. Great product!

Nice tool, but not if you're a solopreneur switching from Google Voice Switch seems to offer a great service. But if you're a solopreneur like me, think twice before using it to replace Google Voice. GV has it's quirks and lack of support. But be warned that Switch doesn't transcribe voicemails. So if you're used to skimming voice mail transcriptions rather than listening to messages, you'll be disappointed. Switch also won't notify your cell phone about texts to your company number, even if you're the assigned person to that number. I do like the ability to have departments for my companies and services. And I think Switch will continue to get better. Support is really slow, but a couple of times the team has been incredibly responsive too. Also, Switch really means "get a company number" when it says that in the advertising. I thought I'd get a company number but still use my Google Voice number once it ported. The mistake I made was that my GV number is now nothing more than a forwarding number. CallerID is my new Switch number or my cellphone number. (I never used to give out my cellphone number since I always used GV.) If you're not using Google Voice, or if you have multiple employees or a team, Switch is probably a good option.

Horrible!!! When phone calls come in it rings your cell phone and not the app. I cannot make calls from the main line. I could not get the computer app working. When I place calls from my mobile phone it calls through a new york number just like Google voice. Basically the same software that Google voice uses...trying to trick business owners into thinking this is real voip is fake replica of Google voice. Actually a downgrade from Google voice. I cancelled the service...stay away from this service.

Business Phone on my own cell phone Love work uses Switch and my cell phone rings when I get calls at work. I can now send texts, place calls, etc., using my own cell phone and it looks like it came from my work number. So sweet.

Say good bye to your PBX! From the guys that brought us Uber conference, now they've taken on the PBX. All the features you need in a phone system and then some. Works great, very cost effective. Works as an app or on the desktop in the browser. What's not to love. I'm not affiliated with these guys in any way, but I wish I was. Great communications platform that continues to improve.

Makes it super-easy to use your cell for both personal and business calls and choose, call by call, which outgoing number will appear on the recipient's caller ID. What I don't like: the call log is not searchable. For businesses that run on billable hours (like ours) this is a major omission. Integrate the Switch app with the Unlimited Call Log Android App and you'd have a real winner.

The concept is solid but the Android App is definitely lacking. Non standard format, the dial pad and text options take a few min to locate and are not in an intuitive location. It feels as if the app was designed to pack in everything the company has to offers with no regard to how the consumer will actually use it. I have high hopes for the product. Craig please fix the app and all the fake reviews (boo).

Awful usability 90% of the time I get a "oops, something went wrong." 10% of the time when I try to call someone it'll say "dialing with Switch" but nothing happens. 80% of the time I'll try to text someone from the texting interface but it won't actually take me to the texting interface. And when someone calls me while I'm on a call, it doesn't take me to my voicemail, it just keeps ringing for them forever. Really hope they overhaul this because it is awful.

Major Bugs, Great Progress, & Great Redesign It only seems to properly ring my device w/ proper caller ID when the Dialpad app is actually open. If it's not, sometimes (if my phone even decides to ring) I just get a normal mobile call from my company phone number - why? It's really annoying. The app shouldn't have to be opened in the background to work. Really like the redesign. Looks/feels much more focused and overall more clean. Looking forward to the new functionality coming in the near future and this app is definitely "getting there"!

Cant use the phone after that Cant dial any call shortcuts. The annoyng pop up to choose the outgoind ddi which cant be disabled from app settings

New version is better Proximity sensor works and turns off the screen. VoIP over WiFi has improved but still glitchy. Sometimes I still don't receive calls when connected to wifi. I would like to see Diapad to add ability to block calls.

Haven't been able to login Signed up by "requesting a free trial" never received an email confirmation. I can't even log in from the app... I tried calling customer service and after a very long wait time I was directed to leave a voice mail... really bad experience for a new user...

Incoming Call Concerns When I get an incoming call, it shows in the notification bar. But it doesn't always give me the option to answer the call. If I tap on the notification, it doesn't take me to an option to answer the call. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

VOIP doesn't ring, carrier network doesn't work either. 1. I selected use VOIP when WiFi is connected, well it doesn't work. Calls always route through carrier network. 2. When there's incoming call to our main line, I get prompted with Call from Dialpad, press 1 to answer. But pressing "1" does not work at all. I have to wait for the incoming call to be forwarded to my private line before I can actually speak to the caller. However, this doesn't happen to my colleague who uses iPhone. I am using Galaxy S7 Edge.

This latest version fails on Nexus 6. Dialpad often fails to STOP ringing and I am forced to turn the phone off. Frustrating - weeks of this. Dialpad, when are you going to address?

Fails to make calls Using Android 6, the app has begun to cycle through the disallowed app and the phone when attempting to connect. Checked app permissions and all are granted.

We have multiple lines for our business and wanted a VOIP solution to connect to a mobile phone. Let's say its been rocky since the beginning. The VOIP feature doesn't work if you activate it. By doesn't work, I mean when someone calls, it doesn't notify you of the incoming call until after they hang up or leave a voicemail message. The call quality is a hit or miss. I contacted customer support and their response is "we are fixing it" even though its been over 2 months.

Needs the option to permanently turn off number selection when making calls This works ok for my business needs, but it really needs the option to turn off number selection when making a call from the built in phone app. Not only is this annoying, but it is dangerous when using hands free calling via Bluetooth or Android Auto, as it requires you to take your eyes off the road and hands off the wheel to select the appropriate number to call from. Major oversight that needs to be corrected immediately.

8/11 1:35PM PT service outage All of our Dialpad devices stopped working. Mobile connected over LTE or desk phones and PC connected over fiber were unable to receive or make calls at around 8/11 1:35pm today. We were sent back to stone age by this outage....

I've been using Dialpad since April. This app has worked seamlessly for me until recently where I am unable to turn the rings to it off to my cell with the app and setup as a forwarding number. In the past that feature worked without issue. 5 star rating without this little issue. Have a current inquiry into their support team.

I want to give this app (5) stars but the famous start up flaw of over promise and under deliver like google voice. I was an original switch customer beta, when I signed up our consulting firm for all our clients over a year and a half ago leaving ring central we were promised in a few months being able to 3 way call from cell (still can't). We were promises business call que with in 5 months (nothing). Still can't use on tablets as promised. We ask and ask no response. The website is untruthful you can not use all devices! You can not 3 way call from your cell phone. Its still shows a funky transfer number on your cell when you dial out. Some small app fixed that for Google Voice they should call him. These are essential in business. This is a great solution but our sales guy only wants to talk when we are ready to spend more money and not when its time to deliver on the promises he made. Going to wait a bit longer if not solved have to bail out and we are a major google business app user.

Unreliable Half the calls coming through will not give the option to awnser, rings but no option to pick up. I have tried using just my carrier as well as hd nothing works. uses to much memory.
