Simple Battery Widget is (as the name suggests) a simple battery widget for Android 2.2 and later.
It simply displays the current battery level in text and with color. The colors are configurable using a simple but powerful configurer.
There are three states "low" (0-15%), "good" (16-30%) and "full" (31-100%) which can have different colors in each widgets. The default colors for these states are: green for full, yellow for good and red for low.
The widget also indicates when the device is plugged into a power-source. The widget is capable of showing 1% changes but if the device supports it.

When clicking on the widget you will see detailed information on the device's battery and a button to re-configure the colors of the current widget.
As an alternative you can choose to open the Android Power Usage.

This widget does not drain battery - it only updates when screen is active and the Android Platform sends battery-updates!
There will not be a Pro-Version because a Battery Widgets can't be complex enough to be worth more than a donation.

--- ATTENTION ---
Please exclude the widget from any task killer you might use, otherwise the widget won't receive any updates from Android and therefor won't display changes. If you did kill the widget: just remove it from the home screen and add another one.

Also, there seems to be a problem with the Samsung Galaxy S2. Some people mentioned that the widget sometimes freezes.
I'm sorry for that but have no idea what the problem is and because I don't own a SGS2 (or have a friend who does), I can't reproduce this bug. As there are only problems with the SGS2 I suppose it's a Samsung related problem because there are many apps in the market where problems only occur on the SGS2 :(

Great work, but... Great work, very customizable, simple, but how come my Motorola Droid RAZR M reports that your app uses 14mb of RAM? I'm looking for something accurate with the lowest memory count. This widget uses more RAM than more full featured widgets packages like Fancy Widgets.

Nice design Thanks for widget, very nice. Though, it would be cool to change thickness of elements too, not just colors. But anyway, good work.

Nice and lightweight It is already quite good, but would be better with percentage indicator in status bar. If it ispossible for widget of course. Great job, thx

Awesome This is probably one of the best battery widgets in the Play Store because it's simple, it works, and you can customize the colors to your liking. Very nice widget.

Don't show percentage while charging Please remove the percentage while charging or that thunderbolt icon - it's hard to read and bad design.

The best ! Very beautiful widget, simple n efficent. I have 2 battery to replace when one is out of energy. None of widget I have tried figures battery level of the new one I put in exactly. But this widget works perfectly. Very useful! I hope next time the widget will have a option to show icon on status bar.

SGS2 issues Firstly thanks for the great widget! Regarding SGS2 freezing problem - i was testing this and it's happening only when you have activated "System power saving" option in Android 2.3.5, this is something new as it was not present in version 2.3.3

Really Simple Widget One of the few that does not put a short cut in your list of apps... i like it. Does what it says. Double tapping on the widget will show you more details.

Not bad, pretty cool widget. Tapping it should take you to battery usage, however.
