Satisfy your inner designer.
People all around the world, including editors at Tested, c|net, and MakeUseOf, favorably reviewed SwatchMatic. Now SwatchMatic has a cousin app called SHÄDZ, a free, fun, even newer way to capture, combine and share the colors you need for your website, startup logo, or kitchen makeover.

See a color you like, grab it. Whenever. Wherever.
Your Android's lens becomes a Terminator eye that can tell you the name of any color you point at.

Harmonize effortlessly.
Sample colors from the world around you, then choose from a series of palettes auto-generated from your color. Find dominant colors, analogs, complements, or triads, and, more interestingly, the closest matching palettes from over 7,000 famous paintings. Once you're happy with the combo, just touch to save it as a palette. Your swatch book is always with you.

Tweak colors all you like. Right on your Android.
Use the sleek color picker to explicitly set HSV values.

Shoot colors straight into Photoshop and Illustrator (now free for all!).
Save your palettes and share them as images using a variety of apps on your device (FaceBook, Twitter, DropBox, etc.). Or export your palettes as Adobe Swatch Exchange files direct to most Adobe applications. It takes just seconds get your colors into an Adobe swatch pane. No typing required.

☆ Augmented reality style UI lets you sample colors in real time, on top of whatever you're viewing through your Android.
☆ Auto-creation of palettes based on the RYB (aka "The Arttst's") Color Wheel, dominant scene colors, and 7,000+ famous paintings. (It's like having a Van Gogh or Renoir as your personal color consultant!)
☆ Fun names are instantly assigned to your colors and palettes in English, Spanish, French, Polish, German, Dutch, and Italian.
☆ Instant sharing of colors as text or images to Facebook, Twitter, or any social media app you have installed on your Android.
☆ Fast export to Adobe applications.
☆ Works with Android versions 4.1 (aka "Jelly Bean") and above.

AWESOME! Where was this app when i was choosing paint colors & decorating my house??? AMAZING, SIMPLE, INTUITIVE, FUN and SMOOTHE. One of the best, most well made, user friendly and practical color choosing apps I have ever used. A MUST HAVE for Designers and Artists of all kinds!

Steven Dayton

Seems to work well. I wish I could turn off the sounds which I've tried to do in the preference settings but nothing works.

Kurtis Jewell

Awesome app Great for finding just the right colors while I'm on the go.

Better than Swatchmatic If swatchmatic looks more like a just-for-fun tools, this app looks more professional. The ability to create my own palette combination is very helpful. A good tool for designers, and to think the pro license only cost 1 Dollar, makes it a good deal.

Joshua Lemell

THIS. IS. AWESOME. Perfect! Just the app I was looking for plus some awesome extras!

Bryan Bulmer

Really really cool

Tin A Pie

Really good I wish that the app can choose multi colors

Simply Amazing

Jim Parrillo

Phenomenal! Fantastic app for designers! Works flawlessly for me. Use your mobile camera to find analogous and complementary colors to develop palettes and even gives the Hex & HSV codes! One of the neatest features is that it will search for masterpieces with that color palette. For an extra $0.99 you can export swatches to Adobe.

I know this is the "upgraded version of SwatchMatic but... What it really needs is the large colors that it displays on SwatchMatic. Or at least an option to enable this. That aspect of Swatchmatic was extremely useful. On this one, the colors are on these very thin bars so when I'm using the camera to search for colors (depending on what I'm looking at), I can't even see which color scheme it's suggesting. Yes, I know you can view it after you take the picture but the great thing about Swatchmatic was that you could see big colors live. Gotta give it a low rating for now because of that :/ Swatchmatic 5 stars though.

Ryan Seyersdahl

Swatchmatic was better.

Alison Reid

Missing the "dominant colors" from SwatchMatic For me, the most useful feature in SwatchMatic was detecting the dominant colors in the image. Hopefully you can add that to this new app in the future.

Easy and intuitive Loved the palettes that it creates and the option to adjust each color as you see fit! :)

I looooove it <3 It's really fun and easy to use

Kimberly Bryan

Just as easy to use as is predecessor but with more features! The ability to make adobe swatches is cheap. The movie and artwork sections are also pretty cool.

Dacia Vance

Kinda boring Not much options & just no fun for me.

Ashley Winslett

A decorator's / artist's dream! Can certainly use a few tweaks, but by far the best color app! Fun to use and saves so much time!

Pete Ferling

Point the app at something white in the scene and what do you see? 5 stars if there was a feature to set a custom white point for proper calibration. It's not a hassle, pro photographers always carry around pocket sized grey/white cards to know what the color temp was at the time of shooting, or to set custom white balance in video cameras. Shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Jennifer Adelman

I wish it would offer me the in app purchases. But the ability to get the live colors, build real paint palettes and then save them meant I could match paint to furniture colors and buy gallons without swatch books or putting a bookcase in my little hatchback. Could it be even better? Yes. But it's still a really great app.

Rebecca Simarmata

Great app! Simply helpful & amazing app!

Keeps shutting down Very unstable

Just what I needed :)

Always crashing :( I like it.. not much a fan of the shadowmatic robots though this lacks features that i love from shadowmatic. And it always crashes. frustrating especially when I've captured really great shades. :(

Michael Pienaar

Excellent app Although this is a wonderful tool, I'm afraid it crashes all the time on my handset. It makes it more or less unusable. Something to do with the camera / location settings. Why does it need location in any case?

A Google User

SwatchMatic was much better and simple...

Michael Pienaar

Magical Suddenly this app is just amazing! Thanks dev vat this grand update. I'm just about to decorate n my new home and this is going to be a source of great inspiration.

Ashley Dinkel

Would be higher but... Had it on my S3 and loved it...upgraded my phone and now it won't even open. It just crashes on my s7 edge.

Ulf Grasse

Doesn't work App should work without the location permission. When denied and checked "never all again," the app simply hangs.

Scott Freeman

Very cool app Helps resolve color disputes and provides useful complementary color palettes too! And a special thanks to the dev for fixing a newly discovered bug quickly.

So far... No instructions, I had to come back to market to find links etc. Will give it ONE more chance, and review after that.

James Ahler

No clues how to use. Instructions??
