This app ruined my extsd card After doing the test my card started to suddenly unmount and mount again and then it DIED :(

Stephen McColgan

Definitely not working right Don't waste your time. Numbers were different every time. Not by a little either. Last test: read 75, write 682

Jacek Janiszewski

Broken garbage Using note 3 with stock firmware, unrooted. Tried /mnt/extSdCard, failed to write, crashed. Tried /storage/extSdCard, failed to write, crashed. The ads display fine though, that earns you one star!

Mann Tubes

Does not send. There is some problem that the app is not letting me send the test data!!! By the way the test hase been done and i also can save it.

Jake Stone

Crashy Well, it's crashy. It tends to crash. A LOT. Perhaps it was optimized for older, GB devices?

Impressed, very accurate and reliable! EXCELLENT, it found my external San disk micro SD card automatically and performed accurate readings on the read/write tests. Excellent. Android itself gives me less interactivity and other apps can't even recognize my card. THANKS to the developer of this app, I now know the problems of moving apps to my external card is not the fault of the card itself. (using Nextbook 8 tablet)

Chris Morton

Didn't even automatically detect my external storage because i have internal as well and expects me to manually put the correct path in.

Sengor Kusturica

Unique functionality I cannot find an desktop application that matches the capabilities of SD Tools card identification methods.

Antero De Jesus

Nice I got a sony card 32 gb with 40mb/s and this app reade it 36 mb/s so no great difference ?

Chris B.

Really? Does this app even work correctly? Every single reading changes dramatically.. Went from 11.5 read to 42.3 read and 22.3 write to 46..idk. Kinda skeptical here.

Christian M

NOT working on Sony Xperia Z3! “Error Writing Buffer" is the message at each failed attempt to speed test my brand new (and tested/proven working) 64gb Samsung EVO card in my bone-stock Sony Xperia Z3 running OTA Android 4.4.4! Please fix it and I will adjust my rating of this app accordingly.

Markus Varis

Needs root access on KitKat. Update is needed for compatibility with 4.4 external storage policy because most users do not have rooted phones.

Pete Johnstone

Waist of time On GS5 it won't allow checking of external SD card which is what we want to test. Anyone can test and benchmark internal memory which is all this app does.

A Google User

Used to be a great app, doesn't work anymore on GS5. Fix functionality on the GS5 and I will happily change back to 5 stars! GS3 w/ PNY Pro 16GB C10 - 9.9MBps Write 24.8MBps Read

Dylan Ballard

Imposible Says my card read/write speed is 287mbs write and 689mbs read. Either its bits and not bytes or this app is wrong.

Rob Cote

Inaccurate Said my phone write at 200mb and reads at 600mb. I don't think so.

watsup hayy

Nice Very accurate.. I put fake class 10 sdcard anf the result is class 4. Then i put origonal class then the class 10 result

Mel M

Tested twice on a card that reads corrupt. Waits is fine and cannot send or retrieve results. Not worth my time to try a third time.

Michael D'Angelo

C'est la vie This does not work on my Note3. It does not detect my external storage, only testing internal. Good looking app, I hope it works with updates.

Can't work on htc one m8 with sandisk micro sd extreme plus 32gb

Ali K

Doesn't work with 4.4.2 kitkat Please update for kitkat sd card permission requirements.

Dale Erickson

no good does not fit screen of my Samsung Galaxy Rugby LTE properly. working with it a-bit, now dislike it. gives different results every time its run.

Saad Elkhalifi

It tells me my reading speed Is 799 mb/s wtff

maurya sid

Don't know its working.. Is it working it shows my write speed around 3.4mbps and read speed is well beyond your speed clock.. :-P

Rik Ryall

Nice concept, but... Crashed repeatedly on two different platforms with two entirely different builds. Inconsistent results using the same MicroSD card, seems not able to recover easily. Uninstalling, sorry.

keith feltner

Does not work on external sd Does not let you select external sd

Matt Caputo

Inaccurate There's no way I have a write speed of 169 Mb/s

Doesn't work Doesn't work on my S5 or Note pro 12.2

Yoana p

Didn't work?!? I tried to use it on my note 3 n9000 with sandisk extreme pro 16 Gb, it showed error and then application stopped.

erez sharoni

Lies My sd card is broken and needs to be formatted and the speed is 100mb this is bullshit

Simon Baker

Xperia z3 compact App not working fails to write data

michael s

Works great Used it on my note 3 it read my samsund plus 32g uhs I with consistency 11-12 mbs reading around 23-24 not a bad app at all.... For people with note 3 that says it doesnt read the ext sd.... you have to push the menu button on the note 3 then go to custom path and choose storage and find your ext sd

Thiago Davoodifar

Does what it claims I the ads make it ugly but the devs need some revenue !

Sem Maks

Doesn't work with KitKat Need to be updated for compatibility with Android 4.4

Taufiqur Rahman

good but not information for my sdcard sandisk 16G uhs1

john argue

LG motion My Read speed 4.6, And write speed 21. Toshiba SD card 32gb from Kmart. :) I think it's class 4. seems acurate. Tested 3 times, similar results. Can't send my results to Internet- doesn't work. Another good app is "A1 SD bench".

Richard Langendoerfer

SD Tool Great app. Gives you the hidden speed you need to play those larger games. Nice job!

Przemek Aksamit

Don't estimate real speed (shows buffered speeds on note3 4.4.2)

Sergy Shu

Fake, don't wasting time Fake app

Пользователь Google

GOOD Good, but buttons does not fit to screen! 480*800

Пользователь Google

Useless Does not shows SD card info on modern devices. Absolutely useless as it doesn't work on top devices 3 years old and younger.

Asad GamingTM

Not working Results are totally fake geting read speed of 114mbs then 54mbs write speed of 90mbs I have class4 man this app is waste

Sung Hoon Kim

1. Not user friendly(GUI can be improved) 2. Not able to run (Immediate write buffer error) 3. Crash when closing. Not recommended.

Brett Hades

Greatest Benchmarking App!!!! Used this to benchmark my OnePlus One, and I got over 170MB/s read and 112MB/s write.

YBR125 blablabla

On Samsung Core Prime and 32 GB card, it shows around 300 MB/s write and 750 MB/s read which cannot be correct, cannot send results either

Thomas H

Sdtools Spee 187 prior to ? test. Improved read to 220+ versus

Abegail Alvaran

The App does not work well with Android 4.4 and above This is due to problems with permissions. It should be fixed with 6.0, however, there are still ways for apps to access the SD card, but the dev doesn't appear to implement a fix on this. The app doesn't appear to know how to create its own directory

Rafael Cabus Gantois

Didn't work It worked with the internal memory, but didn't with the SD card

Maciek Plewa

Doesn't really work On note 3 it can only test the internal storage and does not detect the actual external sd card. Thats understandable as its impossible for the dev to test on every device out there. On the samsung note 3 the path ahould be /storage/extSdCard . Nevertheless the results are consistent.

Noire Ze

shity useless app this does not check the ext card, i used it on a 16 Gb card it only detected 4 Gb, my internal available memory. take fake apps like these out of the google store

David Allee

Fails First, it was difficult to select my SD card rather than internal storage. Second, it had an error and could not perform a test. Third, before I could close down the app the whole thing crashed. It also doesn't seem to attempt to verify size, which is what I'm looking for in an SD card tool.

Adrian brooks

Crap Does exactly nothing apart from a speed test. Don't bother with it not worth the time it took to read this comment

Kazuto Kirigaya

Fake app Got 2885 read speed and a 9626 write speed. I hold the record now :) used a Kingston class 10 16gb micro SD card as well....

Ed Aus

No go on kit Kat Error writing to ext sd card.. known kit Kat issue. But would be nice if someone could solve Google Crapo

Yisheng Ang

Error writing buffer when attempting to test SD card Set the correct path to my SD card's name and it would show "Error writing buffer". No idea what's going on, would love to know why is it happening.

Alec Meyman

This is a joke app The speed test shows sd card speeds 3 to 5 times faster than what the manufacturer advertises, come on

Lars Thon

Massively inaccurate on my Zenfone 2 ze551ml . Reported read speed of 780 MB/s, which is about 10-20X what is physically possible. Reported write speed of 74.1 MB/s, which is probably 2-4x what is physically possible.

Ishwar Shukla

Best SD card speed tester!! i found no other app like this. probably best on android. pls add an option to test the speed of internal storage also.

Terry Panayiotou

I did what every 1 is saying on here Have a note 10.1 2014 and tested with this app a micro sd 64 gb coz it unmounts all the time it shows nothing is wrong unfortunately it unmounts I put in 32 gb and never unmounted so I know it's the sd cards fault it's a sandisc I've tried other apps 1 has responded giving them full stars for responding even when they couldn't solve it if u do solve it ide pay full version so I know every sd card I put in I won't have troubles so then if u want stars I'll give u 1 month to respond thank you

S Tm

N good gives me write speed of my SD card will do read testing on my ROM. So apparently it's made by 3 - 4 years old standard + 4 32 gig SD card the fastest in the world with read speed off 230 Mbps....... you wouldn't expect anything more false or misleading. This is after I corrected the path and pointed to my memory card.

Sailor Jo Mueller

Confusing. Shows info on phone's emulated SD but I could not figure out how to change to real SD. GUI partially corrupted. Will remove very soon
