Illustrated for Reddit brings you wallpapers, funny pictures, videos, memes, news and more from the world's most popular user content submission platform - Reddit.com. Every story has an accompanying photo that looks absolutely gorgeous on your phone or tablet. And with an option to download the image and set it as wallpaper from the app itself, you get unparalleled convenience.

While a reddit.com account is not required to access the tons of features the app offers, you will need an account to vote and comment on individual stories.

Illustrated for Reddit is the only Reddit app with True Card UI. So what exactly is True Card UI? While some other Reddit apps have the Card interface (similar to Google Plus app), only Illustrated for Reddit makes sure every card has an accompanying photo. Other apps display Photo Cards only if the post itself points to a photo (from Flickr, Imgur). Illustrated for Reddit takes any post, be it a news story from BBC or a status update on Facebook and converts it to a beautiful Photo Card, by identifying the most relevant photo from the post. We call it the True Card UI.

Illustrated for Reddit comes with a recommended set of topics that include pics, funny, videos, aww, cats, wallpaper, music, movies and more. You can remove any of these topics and add your own.

Main Features:

★ Clean user interface based on the latest Holo guidelines from Google
★ Scales beautifully on phones as well as 7 inch tablets like Nexus 7
★ Add your favorite topics (subreddits) and receive stories based on that
★ Simply long press on any image to download
★ Set the downloaded image as wallpaper from notification bar
★ Share your favorite stories to Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and more

★ Displays the most relevant image for almost any story
★ Hide NSFW photos completely or turn off their previews alone
★ Integrated internal web browser that displays links in a mobile-friendly format
★ Automatic image cache deletion in every 2 days (can be changed in settings)

Reddit.com users will notice these features:

★ Vote or comment on stories as well as individual comments
★ Access to your personalised front page and subscribed subreddits
★ Horizontal swipe gestures to save/hide posts (beta)
★ Edit comments and self posts
★ Sorting option for stories and comments

Was great...but now... Since going to lollipop I'm getting "service unavailable" nearly everytime I open. Has been my go to app for a couple years but losing some faith here.

Jeremy Garcia

Best reddit app on the market, but unfortunately it doesn't work on the HTC m8 I love this app, 5 stars.

Yea Na

Pop up ads Used to be the best, now has full screen pop up ads that hijack the phone. Found a less intrusive reddit app.

Nathan Clowes

Makes my day A handy app that helps me get my reddit fix on the go. Somewhat buggy, but still good.

Jim P

Horrible Popups you can't get rid of

Scott Auchinleck

Was great. Latest update is awful Crashes, freezes, takes forever to load photos. Bring back the old programmers.....

Vasu Agrawal

I've searching for this type of app forever!! Great app that means i can just scroll through the pics whilst in bed. Would be perfect if there was an option to turn on a dark theme which had a black background so it isnt so tough on the eyes.

C. Benson

Perfect! This is the only reddit client that does what I want. It's fast, pretty, let's me swipe to hide read posts, and has a nice card ui.

Tony Smith

Ok Its quick and simple

Curtis Lawrence

Cramped and a bit wonky. The top menu and ad bar don't leave much screen real estate. Everything felt cramped. Images are almost always distorted and blurry. I like the interface and concept but I can't look past the flaws. If there is an update I'll give it another go. But there are other, better reddit apps.

Flying Pies

Pretty good Although it could be better if it had a dark theme, and having the pictures sometimes seems like not a very good thing.

Byron Mason

Used to work Was great, but now it barely opens without crashing and bugs out halfway through the feed, until you have to close it and start over.

Mrugank P

Cannot sign in I created an account on reddit, but still cannot 'sign in' within the app. Please fix this issue. (Android 4.3)

Adam Rodriguez

Excellent, however... This app needs at least one widget.

Aron Spiess

There's better, try Eye candy Totally needs a dark theme and the pictures are distorted.

Mike Woodworth

Abandonedware This app was great in the beginning, but the still present bugs, issues, and lacking features make it a dud anymore. I wish the dev had continued to make updates to the app and its functionality, but thankfully there's other, more capable apps to choose from.

diO_ _Oib

Great but... Definitely the best Reddit App for Android. Well worth paying for. NEEDS a widget of some sort. Will get 5 stars when it does.

Chris S

Best one I think Big previews and full titles. Plays gifs. I think its the best out of most popular apps

Abdulrahman AlSaggaf

Reddit with browser and comments It combined both features but it still needs improvement

Anthony Stochich

YouTube crash Keeps crashing after going back from a YouTube link.

Lix Lilith Lora

Bugs Got errors. Need to fix this. Please.

Brian Mir

Best reddit app out there This is easily the best way to browse reddit that i have seen. The ads are annoyinf, but for a free app they are to be expected. I honestly cant belive how this is not the top result when searching for reddit

Joe Wilson

Looks really clean and amazing A little slower than other reddit apps, but I understand that the unique look and functionality may cause this. Definitely still worth it.

cereus lee

tremendous potential afford a landscape view, and lower the swipe from 2in to like 1/2in, and ya got the best reddit app there is comments are not horrible ... but I can barely tell what I've up/down-voted ... use a full triangle, instead of a thin chevron ... and/or brighter colors ... also, +/- with verticle connecting lines showing hierarchy would be preferable also, frontpage usually means subscribed ... it appears "all favorites" equals subscribed ... at least, don't mix terms

Paul O'Nolan

Like the UI, but it needs work. I'm getting Reddit posts showing up twice, and FCs when I hide posts sometimes. Some posts show image previews for images that are much smaller and therefore look very pixelated. Also, why have the images stretch to fill the window size?

Caitlin Matos

Definitely not tablet friendly I'm sure I'd love this app on a phone. On a 10“ tablet, it's so huge that it's giving me a headache! Would love to see a landscape UI.

Scott Trobaugh

Best reddit app yet Ive tried almost every app there is for reddit this is by far the most stable and user friendly one I have found

Chris Rollison

Upgrade is in-app purchase Don't like the fact that the upgrade is an in-app purchase. Should be able to buy once for all your devices. If they want to make money later then should release a major upgrade.

Burak Avcı

Interface could be the best but not very functional as much as other apps.

Jordan Horvath

A++ simple easy clean Best app by far! Don't understand why its not #1

Cristian Ungureanu

Nice Great aspect and design , really intuitive and fast app , a bit buggy and some features from the main reddit are missing keep up the great work!

Cliff Fong

Best reddit app so far Love the card ui, it would be great to be able to view the authors profile and see what activity/ posts they have without needing to open the site through the built in browser. Otherwise a good way to keep up with reddit.

larry rucker

Please add landscape So its more comfortable to use on 10" tablets

Jason Roberts

Has potential Still a little buggy and not quite fully featured. But nice interface.

Santos Alvarez

Censored Beautiful app that unfortunately censors searches.

Jason Duvel

What's in the upgrade? And why didn't it apply after I paid for it? I was assuming it would drop the ads... Edit, 1/31/14: resolved quickly with the developer's help! Love it now that the ad is gone! Nice work!!!

Rick Boyer

Doesn't support tablets?? If the app doesn't support landscape, why is there a landscape image? Half the time the app crashes when I click the menu button. Uninstalled.

Saurabh Sharma

Kkkkkkk Nothing left to say. Eexcellent

Juan David Rey

Cool Really like the style just haven't figured out how to look at my saved cards.... Help?

Jeremy Garcia

doesn't work on the HTC m8 Every time I try to open a picture or GIF out opens corrupted :(

Andrew Pennebaker

Can't login I can login to Reddit with other Android apps, but not this one. May be a problem with correct URL encoding / escaping for special characters.
