Lack of info and slow In order to see the pic of the fish you caught so you know what it is, so you know what the rules and regs are, you have to scroll down through all the species of fish first in alphabetical order, and then go through sub species. If you don't know the species before you search... you're as good as stuffed. By the time you do find it, the fish will be dead anyway.

Paul Sheriff

Very slow to respond Also lacks detailed info about exceptions to closed seasons. Needs pics too. A bit disappointing really, spend some SIP or boat rego $ on it, we deserve better.

Luke Jaworski

Seems ok Should have all the Info in the app not redirect you to the site as you might not always have reception if you are offshore plus not all the images for species identification are there so that needs to be fixed

Ben Sunderland

Not really happy should have photos of all the fish types and species. Are you also expected to go through every fish type to find the one you have caught in which sometimes you don't no the name of ?

Mon Keen

Slow App is very laggy, slow and there's about a 2-4 second response delay when you touch on the different options. It crashed in the first 5 minutes, needs to be improved and properly tested prior to release as currently it is not a practical app to use when scrambling to find a species after a catch.

Rex Gruspe

Slow but informative It is very slow! Takes too long to load but very informative to all Qld anglers!!

Matt Gordon

Very slow Fish would be dead before you found out about it.

Sam Samojenko

Very basic When checking species there should be thumbnail images of listed species, having to check each listed item is painful

Geoffrey Scott

Good for a free app You want better pictures and reference material go buy a Fish book cheapskates

John Broszat

Good app Good app but would be much better if fully offline.

Geoffrey Fergusson

Qld Fishing Fishy information put straight!

Steve Shortt

Veerrrryyy sloooowwww Cant use.. too bloody slow. 3 second wait after pressing button for app to respond . BLAH!

Thumbnails needed For this app to be successful it definitely needs thumbnail pictures to scroll through for when you don't know what species you have. Also agree it needs to be fully operational off-line. Tasmania's fishing app is spot on.

Mark Ernst

Great app. Just what I needed for identification and legal size and limits. Have no problems with speed of app (as stated by other reviews). Actually learnt more about fish by looking through the species categories.

Poor design App is unusable to tbe mass, unless you know the scientific names or other names. Very poor app. You cant use it anywhere as claimed, you need cell signal.. waste of tax payer funds YET again.

Matt Ryan

Would be a handy resource with a few tweaks. Finding a fish species that is unknown to you is a long and arduous task. As identification is not a visual based system. You cannot rely on a name to find a fish you don't know the name of.
