* Receive notifications on your phone whenever Powerball numbers are drawn!
* Enter the numbers you're playing or scan them in if your Android device has a back-facing camera, then receive notifications about how much you've won as soon as the drawing occurs!
* Check the latest winning numbers, jackpot info and drawing information from the app any time
* Review historical winning numbers, jackpot info and drawing details
* Optionally roll saved numbers forward week after week automatically

PLEASE NOTE: This app does not scan bar codes on tickets, it scans the actual numbers row-by-row on the ticket. Click "about" in the main menu of the app to watch a video demo of ticket scanning.

Powerball Scanner helps you keep track of all the numbers you play without ever having to check your tickets. Simply use your phone's camera to scan tickets for the Powerball lottery or add them to the app manually. Once you've saved your numbers, Powerball Scanner will keep track of all of the numbers you play and tell you your expected winnings as soon as lottery results are published.

To enable instant notifications once numbers are drawn, press the menu button from the main app screen, choose "Settings", and check "Enable notifications." As soon as numbers are drawn every Wednesday and Saturday, you'll get a notification on your phone about what the winning numbers were and how much you've won.

To enable week-to-week saved number rollover, press the menu button from the main app screen, choose "Settings", and check "Roll numbers over." Numbers you've saved for the upcoming drawing will roll over automatically once results for the next drawing are announced.

If you have any questions, feature requests, bug reports, or problems scanning tickets, please contact me at [email protected] and I'll help you out. If you like the app, please rate it in the Android market!

Scanning just doesn't work I bought this app because I'm in a pool where weekly I have an extremely large number of tickets to check. The idea of scanning them makes it so easy. However, the scanner on this app simply doesn't work, period. When it does recognize numbers and completes a scan, it's wrong 98% of the time and requires manual adjustment anyways. And that's only when it recognizes and scans. I have not once had the luxury of this app doing what I paid for and have to manually enter all the numbers (which is poorly designed for input) to get any use out of it. Don't buy it unless you plan on manually entering numbers one at a time with a inefficient input interface. If you're going to advertise and SELL an app designed to perform a function, make sure it can perform that function properly. I would even be happy if it worked as advertised 50-60% of the time. Less than 5% is unacceptable.

Edwin Lopez

Useless app. It takes several tries to do a scan. Even that it can't tell the difference between 3 and 5 or even 0 and 9. Better off to enter it manually. But if you do that, just check the numbers off the ticket.

Keith Mallory

Scanner I have tried for three hours to scan just one lotto ticket and can't. Am I doing something wrong.

frank b

Doesn't work they don't care I paid for this and it doesn't work and they don't respond and don't fix it.

Jerry Lewis

Improvements Useful app. Could be much improved by a few simple changes. The first improvement would be to show as many rows of numbers for manual entry instead of having to scroll through each number. The second improvement would be to once entering manual entry; allow as many loto number entries instead of having to select manually entry after each entry. If these improvements are made then the manually entry would be much faster than attempting to scan the numbers.

Tony Magazzi

Needs improvement Not very useful, scanner don't work. If I have to add numbers manually I can just look at all my numbers.

Mason Ewing

Can not read the numbers right Don't waste your time on this app it don't work

Seth Savitsky

Great App, but scanning needs to be corrected. All the numbers go green during the scan but nothing actually saves. Format is: xx xx xx xx xx POWERBALL xx Qx Will continue to use the app manually but hoping the scanner is improved, will make for 5 stars for me then.

Tom Gentry

Convenient app Needs a better scan option. Scanner too hard to use

Larry Watson

So far so good The app seems to work as advertised. scanning numbers was tricky at first but I learned that if you get the numbers as big as possible in the scanning window it works every time four stars for now and will re rate after first drawing.

Mark Meyer

Great app I play the same numbers and the app works great of alerting me of results and matched numbers.

A Google User

Great app! Great app! Could improve on the font recognition.

A Google User

Does not work Does not work, Waste of money, It will not scan numbers. Refund needed.

A Google User

Cool This is handy and kind of fun in and of itself.

A Google User

Just quit working. Not showing winning numbers for Sat night drawing (1-21-12) . Will not refresh.

A Google User

Update Needs to be updated to new power ball asap

A Google User

:) Great app if you play powerball on the regular like me. I wish it had a number back up and load feature. Since I play the same numbers every week

A Google User

I love the application and now i'm just waiting for the Decades of Dollars application. Come on Aaron.

A Google User

Love it Does what it says. Thanks for the app !

A Google User

Works Read scan instruction. Turn on rollover for multiple draws. Must be smarter than a box of rocks to use it. Works great. Love it.

A Google User

Was five stars, now since the ticket printers changed the number format it will not read the numbers correctly.

A Google User

Piece of garbage. Deletes saved numbers after a day. What's the point????

A Google User

You CAN Rollover numbers! Just realized you can do this under settings!

A Google User

Does not rollover saved numbers and the scanner square is to big therefore it can't scan/read just one row (texas tickets) . Do not buy. HTC EVO

A Google User

Good. Nice interface for entering. Needs ability to email/share numbers, powerball and mega in same app, running wins totl, and cash/annuity amts

A Google User

Gets a solid 5 if MegaMillions is added.

A Google User

Its OK but it doesn't save the numbers and I have to keep entering them in.

A Google User

awesome app! dev helped me out with a ticket that wouldn't scan, very responsive

A Google User

Works well but doest always read numbers on tickets correctly. Sometimes it can take 2 or 3 attempts.

A Google User

Great app! Character recognition works great and immediately calculated the winnings after the drawing.

Timothy Harvey

Won't Scan The app closes everytime a scan is attempted.

A Google User

Great Great app with all the needed settings :)

Claudia Lord

Waste of money More frustrating to use then helpful. Scan gets only the first couple of numbers correct then you have to manually correct the wrong number. Most states have their own powerball apps with a scanner that actually works. Don't waste your money on this, search to see if your state provides its own app first!

Dawn Hale

will not let me add power play, not available at all on my galaxy Let's me scan accurate most of the time, but will not let me add power play(not available at all, even in edit) on my galaxy s5. Otherwise I loved the scanning ability. "MM&PB" is accurate and easy to use calculates with power play, just doesn't have the scan feature. Number entry is easy and you can select a wide date range. Better for $ acuuracy. I bought the upgrade, would like a refund.

Joseph Brach

Great app. How About adding a import feature. Many people do buy tickets in a pool.

Hans Jaksch

Power play check box What happened to being able to the check box to see what you really won with the powerplay....BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!

giada beth

Got to give it a 5 COMPARED to the Rest As my title says..5 because the rest are a pain. I did pay the .99 cents - I didn't want to see adds and I wanted to scan more than 1 line. After the $1 purchase things went fast BUT it seems to keep messing up the PowerBall # and I quickly edit and saves. If you don't want to scan, type in. Shaky hands... Just hold the scanner and it gets it. So remembers and calculates my winnings, if any but never won. Highlights the # that matches in order too.

Chris Hoppas

Update needed The white balls now go up to 69. This app only has 59, needs updated to be useful.

Catherine Simonds

Didn't work. Sorry... but it didn't work the way it was supposed to. Numbers didn't scan correctly.

Brad Barnes

Not a scanner but a OCR app. And it socks at that.

Shane B.

Nice The ticket scan function never works right for me but I'm not too lazy to enter the numbers manually

Bryant Rector

I want my money back please. It doesn't scan numbers or tickets.

Jay Ireland

Poor Scanner is extremely clunky and very inaccurate I might as well enter manually

I love it....when it works. Scanning is not an issue, it always works. What sometimes fails is that it won't update so you can't enter future tickets.

Brad McDonald

Does not match the new powerball payouts. Please update your code to reflect the new rules.

Digital Domain

Worked good, until rule change Rules for PowerBall changed and no update released for the app to reflect new numbers available via the change. Still only recognizes numbers up to 59 for the base numbers and doesn't disqualify numbers over the top end of the powerball max.

Perry Clower

Good Lite version lets you add powerplay but only one set of saved numbers ... upgraded version lets you save unlimited sets of numbers but no powerplay
