Use free version but dont buy Pro Free version worked so bought Pro version which has not worked since bought over 2 weeks ago only this message "Unfortunately Permission Manager has stopped" on my Note 3. They know it wont work on latest kit kat version because of android changes so this is false advertising and should not be allowed in app store for sale until they update it.

John Lane

Doesn't work Shows me "dangerous apps" but doesn't let me do anything about it, just crashes.

Jonathan Schnipke

Won't Let U Change Risky Permissions It tells u the risky permissions but the options turn those off in the app ops program aren't there. I would like to turn calendar access off for a few apps but the option to do so isn't there. Not too impressed with this app unless I'm doing something wrong. Do I need to root my device or what?

Michal Vomacka

False promises, brings no useful benefit This app doesn't do anything more than Google's embedded AppOps. It doesn't allow one to manage a full list of all permissions an app has in one place. Instead, it uses the very same tabbed (and limited) user interface of Google's native AppOps. Moreover this app destroyed my Nova launcher shortcut for AppOps. Also, the free version is a borderline scareware trying to push you to install a paid version with apparently the very same UI limitations. Uninstalling this as fast as I can.

Chris Sena

Dumb If you're using Nova: long press empty space on home, shortcuts\activities\settings\app ops Why pay for something that you can do free? This guy looking for handouts.

Denise Joswiak

BUGS!Crashes?if it worked, I'd donate My phone, literally the the symbol for outgoing calls + more(things that HAVE TO RUN). ➕ it crashes basically with everything. Doesn't work one bit. Sux, loved your idea and almost rated before opened cause I was going to suggest aTIP since I ❤'d THE IDEA without permissions I wanted to Donate.

Dietrich Duke

Not worth it Nowhere in the description does it mention a paid version, so imagine my surprise when I see only 5 apps in the list -- all android apps (phone, email, calendar, etc) and nothing else. App says if you want to see more, pay. Had I known that this was a paid app, I wouldn't have downloaded. Please fix your description.

Kevin Knox

Finally Take that nosy devs. Why does power manager need to know my exact location? Last i checked batteries work no matter where they are. And if you think that is bag. Look at Ali the pricey info google is taking from you. Thru need to be sued honestly.

dean collins

Samsung s4 Didn't work, stopped each time I tried to manage a permission :( shame as really wanted this.

Travis Hill

Not compatible with Android 5/Lollipop Should state up front that it's compatible only with specific older versions of Android.

Joseph Osorio

App for dummies :/ This is for rookies who have no knowledge on Android. All of what this app offers you can do for free. On Facebook you have the legal action not to share your location, that is why they ask before so sharing but newbs don't see that. > Go to manage app, click on a app then after scroll down and you will see the listing of what exactly that app has access to.

Nick Bland

Still does everything it used to. It still does everything it every did, I just think it's not designed that well. If I click open in the play store it opens a app that's got only 5 apps in it that's why all the negative reviews. In the app draw is the real app.

Jason Boerner

Android necessity... With so many apps now asking for full access to every aspect of the phone (why should a soccer game from EA be granted access to my contacts or call history?) this app is a necessity! Great app still has some rough edges.

Amanda Lewis

Worked fine until Verizon updated my operating system App will no longer open at all! As soon as I tap on it, it says the app has stopped. I've sent feedback on this a few times over the last couple months, but no updates to fix. Uninstalling this today!

Rahim Othman

Doesn't work I disabled location for few apps... but they all have access and report accurate location!!

Jordan Jennings

Not free, can't do anything without paying Please don't make an app that's marketed as "No Ads" and free that requires immediately paying to be able to do anything. At least title it as a demo/trial.

Another piece of baitware Yet again another publisher exploiting peoples wish to control what an app can access. Does not tell you that its limited and you need to buy "Pro" to actually use the app. Publishers like this need to get the crack out of android ecosystem go to grapple if you wanna bait and switch.

Jay Porta

Pro version for complete list Not cool. Don't even use the Guy Fawkes mask in your app if you're going to capitalize off of our paranoia which we have due to constant invasions of privacy.

Josh Parker

Worthless App is only a shortcut to built-in Android 4.3 App Ops and it restricts access to it unless you buy paid pro version.

Rhonda D'Vine

Great - but works only for 4.3 I loved this app, was able to deny Facebook messenger contact and GPS access, e.g. But since upgrade to android 4.4 it does not start anymore :( If you want it for android 4.4, this permission manager works and seems to be exactly the same thing: (App Ops)

Michael Fong

Works for Me Not Every App lets you control location services from their app details. If you have android 4.3, use this to disable your GPS on those pesky apps and save your battery! Like others have said, actually user "Permission Manager" to modify the per APP settings. Their main "display" is actually a partial screen of their paid version. I don't get the negative reviews - Are people really unable to read the instructions displayed prominently on the screen that describe this? *shrug* I can't complain. It's free!

Roney Thomas

Doesn't work with Android 4.4 This was a great app when I was having Android 4.3 on my nexus 4. It doesn't work with Android 4.4, I guess Google removed the permission manager hidden feature from Android 4.4.

Himanshu Sharma

Awesome Does the work. Used it to disable Facebook location access as it kept my gps awake for 13 hours straight.

zahar z

Good one Use the launch manager option under the "3 dots" and you wil see all of your apps

Andrea Davis

Worked until it didn't The app worked so I purchased the paid version. Guess what, it stopped working. I've reported it maybe a trillion times and sought to update... still didn't work. This app does NOT WORK! It SUCKS!

Frederick Claudino

Sell you something that is free In the market there better options that do not sell you nothing. For those that has no idea, he sell something that is for free. Even the list of app is included in the Android SDK examples... Shame...

Shweta Sharma

Keeps crashing, not good anymore Used to be a great app with a clean interface. Now it just keeps crashing when you ask to go to the launch manager. Does very little in the free version. Not uninstalling only in the hope that the next update resolves matters.

Cammie Sinor

Seems like it would be a great asp Sadly, it just sits and spins... Never loads

Peixian Chen

Reserved It's functioning. But not showing all the permission and it's difficult to find certain app using the grouping provided.

_ Fynali _

Get it! Period. Be careful what you disable! With flexibility comes responsibility! Be wise...

Fide S

Force closes upon App Ops launch Can't edit permissions because it force closes before app ops launches. May be a kit kat/Samsung issue, but doesn't work at all on this phone.

Kontar Mwamba

Doesn't work on KitKat Try Permission Manager. Search for "App Ops" on the market and you'll find it.

Mariss Haupt

2 stars I would give this a 5 star if my galaxy s4 would run it. However as soon as I installed it mysteriously notified me that the app us not working. I wonder if that is because they don't want to grant me access to using app to allow me privacy control. Oh well might go back to Apple because if this.

Ben Liu

App summary is not correct. Paid version required I rarely give a I've star but this app description is incorrect. Says free but can do anything with it being free outside of showing you the app interface. Requires full version to be useful.

Rajiv Krijnen

Please make it available for 4.4 so I can once again mute those pesky facebook notifications.

Carmen Smith

Holy Crashage Galaxy S4 ..... Premise is pretty awesome, but app crashes every single time. And by every single time, I do mean every single time. The second you press the button to 'manage' said permissions, the app mysteriously stops working. Would give 5 stars if did what it claims, but sadly, it does not .... fix!

A Google User

Not free... Forced you to pay to use (use AppOps Launcher instead) It only show 5 apps and ask of them are built in apps. To see the rest, you have to pay. Why do I need to pay for something Google pricier for free!? Do not support this greedy developer! Use the free APPOPS LAUNCHER instead.

Stian Ose

Works as advertised You do not need to buy anything. That is an option. The app lists the top 5 apps used. To list all apps, you need to buy the Pro. Selecting any of these will launch the App Ops permission screen which lists all your apps with permissions. Here you can disable/enable permission for all your apps.

pavel salin

Do not usable with limitations There is no mentioned that it's lite or limited version, but when you install it you see only 5 apps and "buy to see complete list" . Developer put this restriction to the app name 'lite' or 'try', save our time.

Anatoly Ber

For all apps buy version

Anton Ulianov

Doesn't show all permissions. For some apps shows only number of permissions, doesn't allow to change most dangerous. For another apps show same permissions fine

Roman Vorobets

Very useful

Цукерман Александр

Manage function does not work Manage function does not work on Xiaomi Mi3.

Sergey Rozhenko

Useless trial version Only shows 5 apps

joe cool 1 Pete 1

Free version show nothing but system function/app Hoping to get edit some of the flipping over board -extra permissions that is not needed but thrown in any for the hell of it into every app that just because they can , THEY DEVELOPER SAY YOU DON'T NEED the PAID VER. But they don't show anything but Google apps or system it DOESN'T WORK ON EITHER OF THEM

Cyberknight Massao Kawata

Not free and useless It's not free, it's a "trialware": it only shows five apps on the list, all useless for a real testing. Works? Seriously, I couldn't care less. Only showing 5 apps irked me enough to promptly uninstall the junk.
