Multiple buttons. :/ For some reason, it doesn't let me use more than three buttons at once. I am stuck on Chrono Trigger trying to get to Robo but can't because L+R+A does not register. L+R does but not when you try to press a third button. Please fix so that you can use multiple buttons at once!!!!
Used to use it, but... My save states are no longer saving anywhere. That is strange. It doesn't look like my game saves are saving any longer either.
Nostalgic! A bit slow at times. But works so far. I have downloaded Lufia II, Breath of Fire II, Chrono Trigger & Secret of Mana. I'm hoping that they will upgrade the system for a smoother game experience!
Great Wish secret of mana worked. But awesome. Multiple saves. Great options. Even allows superscope capability. Great quality can be portrait or land. Do disable diagonal dpad in options
Great snes emulator. This app works fine...got to play Tales of Phantasia and FF3 once more... got me all nostalgic hehe runs great and smooth. My only itch is the controller to move. Wish it was a bit more intuitive of your finger position rather then abruptly stop but that's my only issue. Sometimes also sound popping issues. These are minor issues so they still get 5 stars
Great App, but Unstable on GS2 Functionality wise, this is one of the best emulators out there! It's very customizable, and the save state system is well designed. That said, it's unstable on my phone... It crashes my Galaxy S II whenever i use the app. I think it's only a GS2 problem, so if you have something else then go for it! If you have a GS2, then steer clear.
Definitely the best snes emulator for Android, but it would be nice to be able to move the location of the buttons. On the HTC One M8 the A button nearly shares space with the back, and home buttons, so a slight drag of the finger pauses it, and opens Google. If you're playing a part of a game that requires a lot of button pressing, it's almost impossible not to have this happen, which is unbearably annoying. Also I've found that pressing three software buttons at the same time will cause them to stick
Very Good for the Price I would like to choose where to save, such as drop box, so I can sync my save files. Another improvement would be a way to rearrange my touch screen buttons on the screen to customize my layout. Overall, it is solid but lacks some features found in other apps like this.
Fantastic on Nexus 4 Runs so well and sounds is brilliant. I was at 4 stars at one point as was just too difficult to use with touch screen especially as you can't press two buttons down at once with your thumbs it just didn't work. I guess that's the limitations of a touch screen. So I got a Moga Pro Controller and now it's perfect. Quick, accurate response, no thumbs and fingers filling screen just gaming at it's best!
Nostalgia Memory This app make me cry, when I can play megaman x2 once again.
Bugs Bugs Bugs Works well for the most part, but the multi-touch bug is an issue. And a silly one at that. Fix it. This is a paid app, so there's no reason for such careless programming. When I release the D-pad, it should NOT continue to act as though pressed just because I'm holding down another button. Controls are a bit stiff, too.
Awesome! Brings back the good ol' days :) This app has a great controller interface, that makes playing the old RPGs super fluid and easy. If you remember spending the weekend renting a game, drinking Dew until 2 AM, and beating the whole thing by the end of the weekend you need this app!
It runs pretty well on my MyTouch Android system. I have a few issues with audio and sometimes it hiccups and crashes. However, it has been pretty reliable so far.
Some bugs Like previous reviews have mentioned, three buttons at the same time don't register. Also, Earthbound doesn't work? Gets to the new game menu but won't start the game. All in all good for most RPGs I've tried, but please dev fix the aforementioned bugs! Love the layout and transparent colorless buttons; want to use as my main emulator, especially after buying.
Good, but buggy with some ROMs, other minor issues Bought this mostly for RPGs, which includes Secret of Mana among others. That just happened to be the first ROM I tested, and the screen where you enter your character's name is messed up. Also, 'scale' mode should scale while keeping the aspect ratio, but it does not. It seems like this is merely an updated version of snesoid to address some previous bugs, but introduces others. So far, this will remain installed as a fallback for another emulator, until these issues can get fixed, if they ever do.
Save state doesn't work. I paid for this app hoping for save state functionality. It also would not save in game saves at save points built into games. I tested Lufia & the fortress of doom.
Love it All i wanted was to play Final fantasy III. Great emulator fast, easy and fun. Keep up the good work.
Pretty good Awesome app. does everything I need it to. Only ran into one issue when trying to enter action replay codes. Game genie works fine so not a big issue for me.
Loading saved states The game will allow you to save state and replay but when you leave the application and come back the save states are blank and load to where you currently are in the game menu.
Good but with gamepad support issues Runs quite a few games that other emulators have trouble with, but it doesn't recognize the button inputs on the basic Logitech USB gamepad I use. Fix this, and it's arguably the best SNES emulator I've ever used.
No longer saving I have used this app for as long as I remember as an emulator and have no issues, but now it will no longer save my games. It will not save states nor will it save to the roms internal. Is there a fix for this?
Great app but where the Bluetooth Wiimote Compatibility? App awesome, good render, almost any game works, but bluetooth compatibility is more of a headache with the Wiimote.. Come on guys code some integration for an Easy Wiimote pairing
Perfect Synced my Red Samurai bluetooth controller from gamestop to this bad boy. Works like a champ!! Don't have to use touch screen now Everyone should buy!
Awesome emulator I really like the transparent controls, easy to see the games, runs the ROM file perfectly. I recommend this app to anyone want to play super Nintendo games.
Very nice SNES emulator, worth the price tag This program works flawlessly on my Asus Transformer and on my Galaxy Nexus. Runs as expected, so far every game I've tried works at a great frame rate. I'm not sure if it supports it or not, but it would be nice to pick where your save files go. I use Dropbox to sync my game files and I would love it if I could automatically sync my save files like this. That would make multi-device gameplay so much easier/better.
Very fast emulator Works on the RAZRi (intel) at very high speeds, even can emulate starfox no problems, also support roms like dejap-tales of phantasia and it works with my dualshock 3 controller (with another program).
Great and affordable. Only problem is the add Cheats feature that rejects all codes as invalid. For those of you that don't know where to find games look up SNES roms on coolroms.
not bad, control can be better sometimes my finger would go out of the range of d pad. ended up not moving. also, it would be nice to change the layout of buttons and have multi button shortcut
Question/Issue I have the Samsung Avant and I can't seem to figure out how to access the setting menu amy advice?
Very good emulator but small complaint about the ui For all the games i tested it works almost perfectly. I have never had any problems with the functionality, but the app look and feel is a little dated.
So much better! Been playing it for a few weeks now on my xperia and works like a gem.
Controls... Emulator runs roms really well. Options interface looks nice. My only gripe is the virtual buttons. I am playing on a tablet and its hard for me to press the buttons. The largest size is still to small and the L and R buttons are way up top whenever I play on portrait. I hope the dev can put in the option to reposition keys anywhere and put more size options.
Plays Pays everything I've got in roms. Sure control is a bit painful sometimes but with the note2 I have no issues
Good Acts up a little with a few roms but other than that pretty solid
Flawless no problems in any way, even the audio is better than in my PC emulator. Congrats on the awesome emulator.
My Purchase Recommendations Graphics... WE NEED graphics filters like zsnes; it's an eye sore gaming - defeats purpose of high res cells. Add pixel option, NO BLUR, with alias & high res mode 7. Sounds.. could use some surround efx. In game saves don't work, had to rely on save states. Buttons... adjust vibrate sensitivity (might save power?), have them free adjusting (size and position), outline buttons that glow when pressed. Video Resolutions... make provisions for cells that can dock. Lapdock and connect to TV via mini HDMI.
Thanks Been using this emulator for 3 months now. Works flawlessly with all my 70 odd roms I have. Thanks. I've been so happy reliving my days as a 10 to 14 year old playing theses titles 24/7.....
Nice Job Great job, no sound issues, full screen gameplay, responsive controls.
Average Unable to relocate buttons at all. The rom listing system isn't as thought out as other apps, it's pretty much just a root directory. Cheats system doesn't seem to be compatible with all systems (par, gg) would recommend other apps in hindsight.
Grafical Error. Using Galaxy S4. When toggling volume or if a message pops up, the game quality turns for the worse until the volume toggle goes away.
Dont know how to play After installing made a pass to sd/card and nothing else
For those with save issues I was unable to save as well, until I digged into the problem. This problem lies in Android 4.4 and beyond (kit-Kat and lollipop as of this post) which prevents apps from writing data to the SD card. So if your game and save files are on an external SD card, the the fix is easy. Google up "how to give SD card write permission on Android" and the first 2 results will do it. I would explain it here but the process although easy, is a tad long. Good luck!
Very nice I had to drop it down to 4 stars for one reason some of the other emulators I tried scanned automatically and found the games so if you could do that I'd rate it 5 stars again other than that I still prefer this emulator well done. Worth the money imo
Love the app, although... The games no longer save, everytime I play I'm having to start over, which is sucks for longer games like Donkey Kong Country. Is this something I fix?
Excellent work. If only there was a way to turn off the vibration to save battery!
