The NTD Missions Network app is designed to assist fully appointed Assemblies of God missionaries, both US and World Missions, in raising their prayer and financial support among the churches of the North Texas District. This app serves as a communication strategy to provide current information about North Texas missionaries for pastors and their congregations. This information includes a means of contacting the missionary, their picture, strategic plan, short video, and schedule of services.

The North Texas District of the Assemblies of God is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by proclaim the message of Jesus to the whole world (Matt. 28:18-20}. The Church exists because of this mission as the instrument of God to evangelize all nations. For this to be accomplished, a dynamic relationship exists between those who send, the congregations of local churches, and those who are sent, the missionaries who serve in the United States and around the world. The missionary is strategic in fulfilling this mission by communicating to congregations their call, vision, passion, stories of what God is doing globally, and providing a window into the greater world of the Mission of God on this earth. Missionaries in turn have the opportunity to impact the church in fulfilling its mission in local communities as they minister in those congregations. Missionaries and pastors are the primary sources for growing a strong missions vision in the local church.

For one hundred years, the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God has sent missionaries to many nations of the world including the United States. The local church is the lifeline of the missionary through prayer and giving support. Information is provided in this app concerning missionaries who serve in the United States and in World missions. Some of these missionaries are ‘deployed’ (serving in their place of assignment) while others are ‘itinerating’ (raising their support in the North Texas District). Some NTD missionaries are not listed in this information due to their unique circumstances. The NTDMN connects and assists partnership between missionaries and local churches through Six Regional Missions Leaders and 28 Sectional Missions Leaders who are direction of the District Missions Director.
North Texas World Missionaries are part of the team of 2,708 Assembly of God missionaries who serve in many capacities of expertise in 252 countries, territories, and provinces. Assemblies of God missionaries have been instrumental in growing the Assemblies of God world family to over 66 million – nearly 1% of the world’s population!

It is the vision of the North Texas District Missions Network to lead a vigorous strategy in reaching the world with the message of Jesus Christ. There is no greater resource in fulfilling this goal than the ‘boots on the ground’ missionary who is invested in the many different cultures and people groups in which they serve.

I want to like this app I want to like this app, but it needs a lot of work. The interface and user experience is not on par with modern Android apps. This is basically a website attempting to be an app. It works, but it could be better. I find it stutters or freezes when attempting to navigate or scroll.
