Download Notifyer Unread Count apk 2.6.2 free for Android smartphone
Apk file size: 1.8 MB
Now you can receive all your app notifications right on the app icons themselves, just like the iPhone. Perfect for apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Viber and any other apps receiving important notifications. New messages, missed calls, friendship requests and more are all displayed.
Notifyer works by using 1x1 homescreen widgets to replace regular app icons. Using widgets means they can update in real time showing your latest notifications. So after installing Notifyer, add Notifyer widgets to your homescreen and choose the apps that you want to have notification badges.
To move Notifyer widgets to the dock at the bottom of the screen you must be using a launcher which allows widgets to be placed in the dock (e.g. Nova Launcher)
If you would like to try out the latest features then download the beta version of Notifyer by following the link. Send any feedback to [email protected]

Sylapse part of our Personalization and have average installs from 500000 to 1000000. Last Update April 29, 2016. Google play rating is 73.9061. Current verison is 2.6.2. Actual size 1.8 MB.
Meh. It's tied to system notifications, so if you swipe the system notifications out, the icon notification disappears with it. That makes it much less effective when you can, for the most part, get the same info from your notifications bar. Also, HO doesn't seem to work well with it. Nexus 6
Good attempt at emulating iOS badges, but not perfect Very good app at emulating iOS badges! Can sometimes be slow to draw widgets. Also if you click the home button twice the widgets disappear. You can work around this by switching to an app then go back to the home screen. Nice-to-have: Application groups widget (ability to create a widget that listened for notifications for multiple apps).
Free version not working on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Very disappointed. My phone had recently been updated to Android 5.0.1 but, despite following the instructions and changing combinations of settings on both the widgets and the app, the red circles do not show. I tried to contact Cornwall Solutions on three occasions, via the given email address, but received no reply. I eventually gave up and uninstalled this app.
Don't know how to add widgets? HOW DO YOU ADD WIDGETS AND WILL GIVE 5 STARS
Good but Have a Nexus 5. Had to read the comments to see I had to restart. Should put in instructions or add prompt. Other notifications so far work fine but not for email I got Unread Badge which is really nice for gmail but no option to add my hotmail and I wanted a counter for my other apps so i got this. With android update gmail can access hotmail, though email counter on this doesnt work at all even if I disable Unread Badge, no option to choose which email you want either. 5 stars if email worked.
The Muzzman / Note 4 User Finally found something that works with my 3rd party lock screen. I can't thank this developer enough. Keeps count instantly and launches desired app instantly..
How do I use this? This is a must-have for those switching from an iPhone. One caveat though: being new to Android I could not make sense of the installation procedure. Once installed (with the help of my android-savvy GF) it worked beautifully.
Just what I needed Email count has always been inconsistent. With this app/widget, I can easily see how many unread emails I have.
I would love it if I could place that app with menu button. It's a widget it forces me to place it on home screen.
Working Worked after restarting **** "Remember to add 1x1 Notifyer widgets to your homescreen." There is no widget for Notifyer in Android 5.01 nexus.6. I unabled in accesaries, but still it does not working.
Good Works but a little clunky to figure out. Widgets won't go into the home / bottom menu which is disappointing.
Very good Recently I was having a problem with WhatsApp notification counts, but since installing this app, there has been no problem, easy to resize and customize, certainly simple and well designed.
Great unread count badge icon free Just got Galaxy S6 and switched to Nova Launcher but missed having unread count badges. I just installed this and so far it works for sms and phone calls Still need to test hangouts and voicdmail.
Does not work! I followed the directions exactly to what it said to do. However i am not getting any notification when i should be. App does not work. Disappointed.
Samsung mega Can't get it to work at all
Good but Updated rating : didn't worked after I updated to Lollipop. But I disabled and enabled it again then it worked like a charm again.
This is what I needed. It took me awhile to figure this out and I watched a video on how to work with this app. I thought it didn't work at first so I went to bed. Woke up the next day and there they were. Pretty excited.
Almost Perfect Must reboot to see the 1x1 widget option. Also, I cannot add the icon to the bottom dock. Everything else works great.
Great. if you explain to unexpert users. For people do not know how to add widget. After you add widget already. You can not found it suddenly. Just tell your friend send message to you (ex. whatsapp / line chat). You will see it show on your screen. After you read it. it will disappear again. It will shown only new message coming. This its job.
It works To those having problems not showing unread messages just use the "Count blank notifications".
There is a bug As it doing his half work like if I receive 11or12 msgs in Whatsapp or Facebook it shows only 4or5 msgs count pls fix this bug . Thn surely it will deserve 5 star with good review
Doesn't show the exact number of unread counts My android does not support unread counts on messaging apps, such as Line and Kakaotalk. When I tried this, I was glad because I can finally see the unread counts, but the only problem is it does not show the exact number of unread messages. Please fix this and I will give 5 stars.
Does what is written on the tin My only concern is discrepancy between count shown and reality, maybe fixed in Notifyer+
Good but would like folders If you could find a way to put the widgets into a folder on the home screen, this would be perfect!
Notifications not showing perfectly! If the number is 3 number (ex. 123) then shows only "12"...
it work on app line but ... show only alert message but not show unread count for group chat
How to find widgets It doesn't say how to find it
Nice It works exactly as described. Thanks
How do u add widgets to this app?
Update please. I can't add widget 1x1 from widget page because i can't find it.
Not Good Not Bad It's not perfect, it supposed to be count unread messages or notif. Like if I got 4 notif from 2 convos then I just read 1 convo, it should count the rest, not gone like I've read all of them.
Works well Instructions to use: install the widget >> go to app tray >> switch to widget tray >> tap on notifyer >> u can now choose the app for which u want the notification. That shud work. U will have to repeat that for every app ?. It will duplicate the app, u can trash d previous one. Also u will find an app for it on ur screen which list the apps using notifyer.
DOES NOT WORK. I reset. Added widgets (messenger, outlook) and NOTHING. Sad.
It works Awesome working on handouts
Add widget People please read the instructions. You must restart your phone for the Notifyer 1x1 widget to appear in your select list.
What is the 'other' permission?
Nabilobvski2350 Very good app
Great Many thanks for Android 5 compatibility.
Perfect. Nice job, bro. WhatsApp, Hangouts, Skype works! But with Phone app doesn't work.
Remake please! All is well, but due to the fact that all the icons this is a widget, you cannot add them to the bottom panel as in the picture - it's not true. Make notifications appear on the label of the program itself, and not on the widget
its working on my whatsapp!! now i can se how many message come huhu..thanks im verry happy with this app i will give 5stars
Eh It's a good idea & what I've been looking for but, it would be a 5 star app if you didn't have to make everything a widget & if it wasn't tied to the system notifications.
great simple app Just installed - primarily for texts (use textra) and missed calls. Simple and works great. I had previously used Nova Launcher prime for the unread badge counts, but after Lollipop update Nova unread counts don't work. This is simple and works! I just wish it worked for unread voicemail notifications!
Ughh If only some one can please tell me how it works
Does what it says! Love the flexibility of icon size and text.
Confusing and difficult to set up The instructions are inadequate. The app and the widget icons are confusingly identical. It did not request notifications be enabled. After enabling notifications, dropping widgets on the home screen worked per the instructions. (Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop 5.1.1)
Almost Perfect The emblem and icon can be resized and aligned, and the notifications work with my galaxy prime running lollipop. Only wish the icons could be placed in folders, and in the lower tray. I think the slightly larger size prevents this.
I love it so far. Is this app hard on the battery life?
Sweet Switched from Samsung to Motorola, missed my badge icons, this app works as advertised and is nice and compact. Recommend.
Buggy since last update It's not cancelling the badge any more when the notification is read. This is a whatsapp one. There are no outstanding ones or archived ones. Also it's coming up as my highest battery drain now. Never been on the list before. Reinstalled and getting the same issue .
Brilliant! Works like a charm. One thing to note: this counts notifications, not the actual unread count. Once you clear the notifications, the count goes to zero. I'm used to clearing the notifications and relying on the counts on the icons with KitKat 4.4. Unfortunately, the Google now launcher doesn't provide counts on icons.
Using Solo Launcher & this is the only way I can get a notification count for Outlook email. Just did a test for voicemail & it does not work. Any help on fixing that issue would be great & up the rating to 5 stars
The best Does what it says & does it well
Love it Made the switch from iOS to droid much easier and, 5 years later, I'm still using it.
Please add the ability to edit the vertical notification position. When I align the icon vertical position on my LG G4, the top of the notification is cut off.
There is no widget for this app
Works great! Helps make Android a little more friendly.
. Does it work for snapchat?
Yet unresolved issues, buggy I'm glad that this app works at all, but there are several problems. #1 it is slow to update the badge. #2 the unread count is won't show any less then 1 for hangouts SMS count. Yes, I cleared the cache and app data, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The notification badge always shows me that I have 1 more notification then I actually do. :( its still useable to me, though it feels a bit clunky and sloppy. I hope future updates will address these issues, until then, 2 stars.
Works very well on my Cyanogenmod 12.1 installation with the Google Now Launcher (which lacks this capability itself). I've used it for WhatsApp, Telegram, Messaging and Phone. All works!
Overall good, intermittently buggy Good overall app, recently maintains single message notification on Google SMS app when there are no new messages. Have tried deleting all messages, restarting phone and reinstalling the app to no improvement. Would like some guidance. Thanks.
So far so good. Working perfectly after initial testing on my S5 running CyanogenMod 12.1.
Awesome I can have unread counts on nova launcher even not in premium. But better if you use shortcut type of widget (whatever it's called) so I can put it in folders.
Buggy It is ok.be 5 stars if you could change the icons
Uninstalling on note 4 w nova Count is incorrect. Icon cut number is cut off on my gmail. Not working on missed calls w dw contact pro
How can there be no notifications for phone and messaging
Does what it claims. Works well. Good support.
Badges Need this
It's really work but... I customized my homescreen with folder and i cant put those app into the folder. one more thing i'm using htc and i have theme applied which changed the icons too (square into circle) and which also yr app cant change it still with square icon. if you can work this out and fix it i will probably buy + version.
Add option Add option without home screen widget it Will show unread badge count on selected app
Notifer Won't work for me
I'm Happy Works a treat when you read the instructions properly. I'm happy.
Works for me on note 3 lollipop 5 for hangouts
Love this app...it's works on my s650...
Junk app Not worked for me though tried several configuration settings. Hence Uninstaller.
I'm liking this I always wanted this
Perfect! This works excellent on my LG Flex ?
Best notifier Very good app. Meets my requirements.
Great, but might have a few small bugs. Been using this for years. Extremely useful. Just found a possible bug running on my new galaxy s5. The icon hiding function makes the entire icon disappear, counter and all. Used to just make it not show a zero counter. Could be an intentional change or a bug. I don't know why you'd want to completely hide an icon, but it takes all kinds.
There is no widget for this app. Edit: the widget was actually delayed didn't have to restart. But sadly this app doesn't really suit my preferences I use one layer mode and keep apps in folders while important ones in the dock.
Doesn't work! Tried all ways but could not make it work. Annoying ads too.
Exactly what I needed Quick, easy to set up, customisable, I use it for all my apps that have notifications. Thanks!
??? It only worked for instagram
Only one doubt. What do you do with private information you guys read/receive from our app widgets?
Bad Doesn't work with Facebook
Hundred percent working I don't know why ppls here are giving this app bad reviews. I love this app and works just perfect. The procedure is simple and user friendly. Must have app if u want badge icons.
It does work well. Although the instruction is not well documented, it works well after setting it.
Seems to work It's good but since it's a widget you can't put it on the dock
Problem The app worked on my ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser...but the app that aligned can't fit the theme
Not working on my THL5000 No widget in the list. Same problem after restart.
Incorrect thread count This app does not accurately count the notifications. I am using a S7 edge. On the app groupme I will receive 4 messages but the count will say 5. Got up to 11 messages but the count said 45 I messed with the setting and the only other option will only show 1 missed notification. Also the app does not pickup on the theme image and does not match the theme.
Very handy! I really do love this app I always have it running on my phone!....the only thing I would love to be able to do is put an icon widget in the main bottom "tray" of the home screen...the icons along side the app drawer icon...cannot put wiidgets there so somehow make icons for each app the same way customizable as the Widgets? ....humm?
It Works It works perfectly on all apps except Line App.
Almost perfect Does what it's supposed to do and even lets you pick which inboxes to display notifications from on Gmail. My only complaint is that it seems to count advertisements from Gmail as emails which is a bit annoying. Other than that it's almost perfect.
Did not work with fb and wtsap
Great Just what I needed shows unread flag count
This is a great app. It's especially useful if you're using a custom launcher where apps that had notification counts in the stock launcher no longer work with the custom launcher. Also, the developers provide great support.
Love it! It works so well idk y this app has such low ratings its a good app its almost like the iphone badge app notification
Colour Can you have an orange colour that goes with the lollipop notification colour?
Cool Working perfectly on my phone
Terrible instructions. Could not make it work on Galaxy S6.
Help! can't add another same widgets on my home screen?
Creates issues Exactly what I eat looking for. Only problems are it drains my battery and causes system hangs randomly.
Awesome 100% working. Only one thing that at dock it cuts the badge partially but at home screen shows complete badge.
Brilliant Works perfect on my galaxy
fu*k it's bullshit
A little bit of trial and error with the settings to get widget same size and alignment as existing icons. Otherwise no issues so far.
Works great Works great for both Viber and Google hangouts. Simple to configure. Only problem I found is that it doesn't autoclear correctly on Google hangout missed calls but this seems to be a glitch with Google hangouts. It could almost be considered a feature and is easy enough to manually clear those missed call notifications.
I can't get it to work! On my Galaxy S7 Edge I'm running Nova as home screen, I turned on the notification from my accessibility settings, restarted my phone, still nothing! Uninstalling!
Nice So far So Good.I purchased an sms blocking app, all it lacks was the #icon for New messages,So far this app has filled the void. Will upgrade if continues working well. Not the easiest to figure out,but got it. @DheerajAwale if concerned, cut off its internet access (firewall)
Works great. Works great for viber. Missed calls notification doesn't work for google hangouts or hangouts dialer. Works great for Gmail and hangouts chat messages though.
Disable labels in single widgets You should add the option to not show the labels also in single widgets, sometimes I want some widgets to have label and some not, plz u don't know how much I would appreciate if you do so
Good But how to save custom style for the badge? I don't see the button!
Doesn't show unread It doesn't show unread emails once I open the inbox. I leave emails unread but the Notifier doesn't recognize that they're unread
Finally, something that works with Nova Launcher!!!! It has b been driving me up the wall missing texts, etc. This has restored my sanity! Thanks!!
Works but battery killer Works well, but is by far the biggest power suck on my phone. Battery lasted half the time with it installed.
Too complex Couldn't get it to work.
Only shows a '1' when in fact I have multiple notifications at a time (Snapchat). I'll have 6 unread/unopened Snaps but the icon only shows a 1.
So far so good Facebook's notification badge took a minute or two to get off after I checked it, but it works good nontheless
I have been looking for an app like this! amazing!
Totally useless No widgets appear anywhere. Un installed.
I love u Perfect notify app for android. Works perfect in marshmallow!!
Great app Works well on stock launcher easy to use
Simply beautiful app
I thought this was a good app... But, I was wrong! I keep.adding various applications to it and they go missing shortly.? I had 6 apps in there, and for some reason, three keep being deleted and the same three always remain. On to something else.
Badges reset Why all counter badges are got reset when I click clear status bar? I still have unread messages in apps. That's incorrect behaviour.
not working on Xiaomi Note 3 As soon as the phone is rebooted the app stops working and its own logo is displayed instead of the app logo. Also clicking on that logo does not launch that app.
Works well Only downside is that it will not allow you to change the email account associated with the GMail widget.
Job done!!! Does what it is intended to. Suggestion : Can you show unread messages (or missed calls etc.) instead of just pending notifications, but using more permission (if required)?
Works Well I wish my launcher offered this on its own, but this app is a fantastic notification badge replacement. Lots of options and seems to work really well. Thanks!
Doesn't work at all. Help not useful too.
I found it useful in my oppo F1s. Only one app can be selected... Thank you very much
Please add folder options its very important
Good app To update this for effecting till each unread message is seen
Okay Great app and function, just needs a folder option
