Works well Installed easily, and set up, but note that to get to the various screens, you swipe the screen from the side. I was pressing my phones hardware buttons expecting to see the settings screen.

Mike Thompson

Useful app with a nice simple interface. Would love the next release to support: - enable/disable subscriptions without having to delete or add - store multiple connections - support split views (It can be difficult to isolate multiple subscriptions) Great work :)

Jan-Piet Mens

Good for watching a broker at work Handling takes a bit of getting used to (swiping for various screens), but very practical. The app would be +1 if it supported TLS connections to the broker.

Jonathan Ulmer

Works great but only useful for testing I would love to be able to use this in conjunction with Tasker to actually be able to send and react to MQTT messages in a useful way. Even just exposing intents would make this possible (although I think making it a plugin would be the way to go).

Adrian Kelly

Best MQTT app out there, still not great I've tried all of the surprisingly short list of MQTT apps and this seems to be the only decent one. Unfortunately, its missing a number of basic features, such as setting QoS, retain, and the client ID, which should be fairly easy to implement. Also nice to have would be notifications, graphing and a material design interface.

Joachim Wickman

Usefull app for testing Good for testing but crashes quite often.

Peter Scargill

Needs work Very poor handling of poor connections. This could be so useful

Arran Short

Wow what an app! Have been looking for an mqtt app for a while and this is really good. It would be awesome if I could be notified when a message comes in.

Ben Ward

Really useful, needs some more features Great to debug MQTT streams in the field. Could do with topic enable/disable for busy brokers.

David Elfi

Great debugging app Very useful for debugging. I'd like to copy messages for detailed analysis.

David Chamberlain

Needs work Samsung galaxy S3. Seems to work intermittently. What I mean is it doesnt always seem to get all the messages and skips some etc. Also sometimes disconnects the server when adding new subscriptions. All in all, great but needs a polish :)

Trevor Page

Nice work. Very pleasantly surprised to find this available when I wanted to test a Mosquitto server. Very useful and nicely designed. I expect I'll be using this quite a bit during my MQTT work.

Robert Baker

Great app Really helped developing for the IOT

Randy Cain

Outstanding Really looking forward to configurable notifications. Plan to use as a personal sms replacement for the family with rabbitmq. Much faster!

F.W. ten Wolde

Very helpful debugging domotica stuff... Would be nice to set the retain flag when publishing messages.

Dave Thomas

Good app Very handy when debugging. Would love to see TLS and QoS support.

Adrien Capaine

Simple but lacking extra features such as QoS or client id.

Jose Maria Vazquez

Good app Waiting on Android notifications when app is no running or running in background. It would be great for monitoring a broker

Marshall Rose

how can i pay to turn off advertisements? also, where's the TLS option? first, thanks for the app. second, how can i turn off advertisements in app? third, where's the TLS option? - marshall

Dennis Wollersheim

It does exactly what I want it to.

Nilay Nag

Great MQTT Client Excellent compatibility with most of the MQTT servers as Mosquitto, HiveMQ etc.

Rok Palhartinger

Great app! Small, easy, clear gui and works perfect!

Jarosław Wiktorowicz

good but with ads

Karl-Johan Jönsson

Easy to use Great way of checking your topic activity

Imran Ahmed

Dead simple I love it for its functionality, kudos to the devs for having an eye for detail in this app including the quality of service, reconnection persistence and clean display!

Keith McGerald

Waiting on TLS/SSL I'm trying to use this with mqttitude but I set my broker (mosquitto) up with TLS/SSL so this can't connect.

Ted Heatherington

Disappointing and obtuse I tried to use this to watch messaging on a small IoT hub but never saw any messages... I've used several other MQTT monitors with success, but this one just died and trying to restart caused it to halt and die repeatedly.

Ty Marbut

Did what it claimed, but I wanted push notifications. It functioned well and I like its design, but I was looking for (and still can't find) an Android app that will make the MQTT messages into active notifications in the Android notification bar.

Antons M

Great solid app Does what promised, reliably. Thanks a lot! I second request for enable/disable subscriptions and would like to have a rudimentary widget that would just show a text of last message!

Ravi Kashi

Excellent tool Being new to all this IOT/MQTT stuff, this tool has been a constant support to test and understand many things. I have used it as a golden standard.

Andiarto Prabowo

Love it Help me alot as SQA for SCADA apps with mqtt protocol

Stephen Davey

Works well Easy to use but needs ssl

Daniel Bos

Great Very useful. I would love it if there was an option to have the notifications broadcast as Android system notifications when the App isn't in the foreground. Maybe as an often per subscription.

Surendra Kumar

Simple mqtt client Used with mosquito for simple sensor integration without any hiccups

Sanjib Mitra

Awesome useful application for IoT projects

Panagiotis Kolokotronis

Yap does what it says

Marco Antonio Calderón Pérez

It does it's job pretty well, it is simple and neat. The UI is not pretty, but is functional. I'll add some material design guidelines to be a better looking app.

Ethan D

Perfect Would love an edit button or active or inactive or subscriptions/feeds

Menno Faber

Would be even beter with tasker support

Rosmianto Aji Saputro

Simple yet easy to use Works great, but it would be much better if it could keep the connection when it's closed (not just minimized), and provide new manual connect/disconnect button.

Valerio Vaccaro

Very useful Just miss to have more brokers to choose from at the application start, please implement in next version

mayur kulkarni

Thanks Great app to test my mqtt client, any way to publish a retained message?
