Could be better I would like to get notified when an article about a subject I am interested in appears Otherwise I forget I have the app
Who is the targeted user?? Cannot log in with IEEE account via the app, Web page asks credit card info up front, not recoginizing I'm a Computer Society member, not giving extra credit. I like the idea of the service, but first treat your members at least.
Not fluid; why shall I pay 'tokens' for reading when Linkedin Pulse does the same for free using Ascend P7, unacceptable slowness and jerky animations
Thank you for adding notifications about when new magazines appear. I like that!
Useless...? Won't let me register, won't tell me why...
Can not register
Awesome source to access through your IEEE membership
My Computer is wonderful Notifies me when new magazines are available; lets me download then to my phone so I may read them on the metro train.
Won't even install. Just says "not compatible with your devices", but doesn't say WHY it's not compatible. Is this app really so special that it requires some fancy, expensive new phone to run on? It's a non-starter.
5 stars for content and design However, (1) Crashes a bit as of this version, often when scrolling, (2) Would be nice if it was obvious how to find older issues. For example i see a magazine with "part 2" on the cover, i presume the previous month's was part 1 and i missed it, only obvious way to get it seems to be to go to DL via browser.
Still a lot of work This app is long overdue but there is still a lot of work to do. Why do you have to decide beforehand if you want to read and save or just read. I would like to decide to save AFTER I've read the article. Also at a certain moment the soft buttons to return to the home screen were gone. No way to leave the app. Better add an exit option.
Still crashes occasionally, but easy to get back to where you were. I do not (but should) use this app daily, however I was a little surprised that a story which i read here a month ago, was in the most recent 'edge' magazine received via postal mail, so using this app i feel like I'm keeping myself more 'current'/'up-to-date'.
