The app is good but... I think the app is a good virtual partner and I like the couching kind, but I am still waiting for the boxing app that moov promise to deliver after 3 months of the ios release, so please I think it is time to know what is going on. Thanks

Robert Kang

Moov shipped prematurely Constantly loses connection with moov. Cadence tracking is wildly erratic. Constantly fails to record the workout. I am an early adopter and I have never seen a product released to market this prematurely.

Angelike Angelopoulos

Good but still needs a few tweaks. Android users beware of quirks and disconnection from gps.

Alan Chiang

Keeps complaining no gps connection While I've another sports tracking app (wahoo fitness) running fine in the background, annoying how the app doesn't show an icon on the notification panel so cannot switch smoothly.. voice output isn't generated from the built in Google api so the added app size and lack of customisability (accent, speed, etc). If you completed 3 sessions wouldn't it be better to set your level at the lowest completed level, rather then only complete a level when you selected it 3 times? No low battery warning either.

Steve Brown

Android app 2.1.49 is still buggy and crashes frequently even with v4.4.4 When it works it is useful, but frustrating when it crashes in the last 15 minutes of a workout so you lose all record of the workout. Currently wearing a polar watch to record the workout.

Brandon Holt

Moov is a great person training app So needs some work but final product should be worth it

Joris Bruring

Great! Like the features of the update. Works like a charm on my HTC One m8. Can't wait for Android versions of the other apps as well!

Aguda Group

Buggy App I'm using the app on an LG Volt with KitKat (4.4.2). The first thing I encounter is the audio does not come thru on my Bluetooth earbuds. After 5 mins of a brisk walk, the app crashes. Also, the metrics on the app is not recording or moving at all so there's definitely something wrong with the Moov Run & Walk app on Android. However, it works great on my iPhone Air.

Brandt Zeigler

2nd Run and Walk, like the focus on Training Overall good. There were a number of frustrations. As a 'crowd-funded' utility and device this is somewhat acceptable, but devs should have focused on Android. Focused training is awesome, but overall fitness is paramount. Moov should: 1. Put sliding scale on screen for frequency of training cues. 2. Increase the number of activities it supports. 3. Wrap all activities into a single app. 4. Have a 'just run/swim/bike' feature 5. Include social elements. 6. Get beta app up for 2 devices.

GERARD Nicolas

The best coach Simply a revolution for me. I was training with a lot of gadget but this one will push you gently and injury free to your best performance. Simply by improving my run efficiency, I got one km/hour of improvement.

Ernest Hobbs

Settings Hi, is there a way of setting the visual feedback to give the figures you want to see? It gives me pace, when I'm more interested in impact...

Tomáš Wachtarczyk

Great device Beta Build25 did not hang up yet and it seems to be working. But not sure why levels are not increasing.

Eric S.

Needs some tweaking My initial reaction to the coaching AI is overkill. I like to listen to music while running, and the AI is speaking every 10 seconds. Shorten the commands or less frequent commands may be better. Its also immediately clear the app works better in a controlled environment... If you need to stop for traffic, or you're running uphill, there's no adjustment. Very nice hardware, hopefully software keeps improving.

Byron Woodson

Actual Fitness coach/trainer This gadget and app combo doesn't just track what you do, it actually coaches you on the quality of your movements. You'd have to pay big bucks to an expensive and highly trained coach for this kind of data. Ignore it at your own mediocrity.

Disappointing Today I tried for the first time to use Moov. It did not work. I have a Galaxy Note 3. I had downloaded the ap from the Playstore, set up an account with email and password, and then tried to connect. First, it did not see the Moov. Then I went into settings, ensured that Bluetooth was on (it was) and then scanned for devices and it saw the Moov. But when I tried to pair I was prompted for a PIN, which I did not have, and the suggested defaults (0000, 12345) did not work either. Neither did the password I used when setting up the Moov account. Also, when trying to put in the suggested PINs, or the Password, the Moov seemed to run it off, and it would not come back on, no matter how times I pressed it on. It would only come back on after the attempt to put in a PIN failed. How do I fix this? Also, it is very frustrating to try and find the right way to turn the MOOV device on. Sometimes it comes on when I press it, but more often not. Is there a particular way to do it?

Giampaolo Frello

Limited Application is exactly the same of iOS without following Android guidelines and expecially without listening any of the users comments.

Veronica Atayde

Good Wish this was a step tracker think they should combine all apps and voice should motivate more at first I thought it should talk actually helps me focus more I like it....finish the other apps!!!

Mat Olivo

The app disconnects consistently I can't even do my exercises because the app almost immediately disconnects shortly after my stretching period ends. I really hope they can fix this, because it's useless if you can't get a full exercise in.

Rohit Sabhlok

Great! Good product. It will only get better as time goes on.

Silas Howell

Works good needs sharing Works good needs sharing, also a just tracking app would be nice so could keep track of steps and calories at work, thanks

Ryan Schumacher

Not there yet. Nexus 4 In its current state this app is worse than useless. The moov will not stay connected longer than 30s. As I run the voice repeats "moov disconnected/connected" 2 to 3 times each per minute. This causes the cadence to be wildly inaccurate. Additionally the coaching trys to force every activity to be done in intervals. I'm not going to run a dozen miles in intervals with short walks. And the app can't be used for treadmills or ellipticals because it needs the GPS. It has a long way to go. Release the SDK.

Mosaad Al Hajaj

Awesome It's an awesome app

Huibin Liang

I was expected an innovation... Instead it's still on the way of its development. I thought the videos and reviews... Turns out a lot of functions that showed in the commcericals are missing... Like swimming and boxing trainning.... I purchase the product and have to wait till more functions being released... For now it's just a gadget can flash

Giampaolo Frello

Limited Application is exactly the same of iOS without following Android guidelines and expecially without listening any of the users comments. Update: crash at start - 1 star

Carolyn Wilkinson

I've so far been disappointed. It does not log my workouts probably and continues to drop the connection. Not what I expected from the website promises.

Caspar Addyman

App needs work Good concept and moov hardware seems excellent but app is buggy (poor Bluetooth) and has very limited options.

Christa Barr

Loses connection Used to work great, now I can't keep it connected to my phone during a workout. I also wear a fit bit flex (since you haven't unlocked it's pedometer capabilities), could this be a bug since two devices are connected?

Barbados Slim

Not reliable Very vague description of what workout you are doing. The cadence jumps all over the place. And when everything seem to be going well, bam, the app crashes. I'll be trying to find something to replace this.

Геннадий Азарин

A disappointment after the iOS version I've started using Moov with an iPhone a month ago for my daily running. Everything has been great so far until I switched to Android (Asus Zenfone 2 Android 5). The Android application loses bluetooth connection to Moov and fails to record the distance. The interface is ugly and not convenient, it lacks the dashboard, and the coach's voice is quite unplesant. Also, it seems to be not as precise at counting cadence.

Vincent Lewis Jr.

Fantastic... If you have an iPhone. I have been overwhelmingly let down by this product. I was under the impression that when I bought this product that the development of future Android apps would be delayed/slowed but at this point it feels as though it is nearly nonexistent. While going on a run with a buddy of mine (who uses an iPhone), the drastic difference in app quality became painstakingly apparent, particularly while using the running app. While I was once an advocate for this product, poor Android support has turned me off for good

Alan Chiang

After 3m moths of use.... I think the app is a good virtual partner and I like the couching you don't get bored with someone pushing you and correcting you but after 3 months the battery is getting bad and it kept disconnecting from the phone something that didn't happen before and now it is not saving my stats after running, I have a email from team moov a week ago promoting an app for ios and promising something for Android this week and today is Wednesday evening, it is too bad that we android people are left behind way behind..

Ryan Hutto

Good app but... It is missing a key feature of the IOS version. Adding open training would make this app so much better. I hope the support for Android products with the MOOV will begin to improve.

Beth Jokhio

I need a goal! Couple of kinks to work out. I'm not a big fan of how the pace and distance are intertwined. You have to keep pushing faster if you want to go further. I am just not a very fast runner. I would like to set a goal of getting to a 5k at a 10 min mile pace and have the app calculate a plan to get me there.

Tanya Gabe

Needs GPS all the time It's so annoying that I can't use it on a treadmill with no GPS signal in a gym. No 'open training' mode despite what their Support website says (please update that since it's misleading!).

David Wise

I regret being a early supporter This never lived up to the promises made, especially for Android users . The S Health app on the Samsung Galaxy S5 works better and does more, so both of my Moovs sit idle. Too bad the development team failed on this one. I was a believer, but they frustrated me by losing my data too many times. I don't expect this company to survive much longer with this track record.

Inge Roggeveen

Phone unsuitable for app Just got my Moov Now, only to find out my phone is too old for the new Moov app. Very frustrated, waste of money. :(

Albert Kamalov

Any changes? Ever? Bought this great device in the beginning of the summer. Was waiting for improvements- to no avail. Of course, I don't see the whole picture, but it seems like Moov developers do nothing to improve android apps. And where is the Boxing app?

Paul Bottjer

MOOV run and walk Lack of Android free run and inferior app to that of IOS. When will people note more android users now than apple so we should have same functionality and at the same time. This is a bad MOOV.

Adrian Corella

Can't complete a workout because it keeps disconnecting from my Nexus 5.

Binu Balachandran

hi review inteaval of each lap should be user controlled & not decided by coach. In order to increase interval one has to increase the level & as a result caedence goes up which may be difficult to maintain always.please let the user set the interval for each lap & resting time therafter.also fix distance covered issue for treadml

Nicolas Buthay

No Free Run Mode?? I don't like taking my cell when I run. I'd like moov to record my activity and show me the stats later when I finish. I can't find a way to do it now.

Sean McCue

I feel like I've been the victim of a bait & switch: they say that they have the ability to just track a free run, but apparently that's just on iOS. Don't buy this for Android until/unless they roll out that feature. Any experienced runner or anyone training for a race is going to have distances that they're already running: they need to be able to track what happens on that run (and get the stride rate feedback while doing it) not be coached through a series of pre-set coached intervals. This is a waste of money until it actually works they way they advertise.

Maxim Strelsov

Want calorie tracking without coaching Disappointed. I don't want coaching. The feature to just track the calories of my run/walk/baseball/volleyball/... has been "in the works" for months. It SHOULD'VE been done a year ago since it's just a matter of removing the coaching, NOT adding anything

Nathan Nawalaniec

Used to work great. Worked great for a while now my device will not stay connected for more than 2-3 min. My workouts have become more of a run 50 ft and stop to try to repair moov. It is extremely frustrating when every 10 seconds you hear that nagging voice "moov is disconnected....tap moov to connect." I have done everything from updating the app and uninstalling it. To clearing my phone's Bluetooth memory and even factory data resetting moov and my phone. Nothing has worked.

Thomas Vanderhaeghen

I waited almost 1 year before writing this review because I always thought this product is great and if it would works like on IOS it would be perfect. Unfortunately it's not happened... I used to try a lot of times in the gym and outside as well. With iPhone, Moto X and Huawei Mate 7. I had plenty of issues and different depending the phone and the OS but mostly bluetooth issues with all those excluding iPhone. Disconnections are very annoying, because at the end of the exercice it makes it not accurate at all (while you run it disconnected few times, this means it doesn't count those steps and finally at the end it says you didn't reach the goal, which is just because it doesn't count all disconnections). This is very frustrating. But for me, another big issue is the problem with music. Each time I run with Moov, my music is constantly stopped or blurred. I used to try different bluetooth headphones but it's always the same. When I run without Moov, music works like a charm! So as I said, this product works great on iPhone but for Android is just a waisted of time and energy to trying to keep it working. I'm done with Moov but to be fair I will leav a positive review on iTunes.

Thomas Blackman

Good I have enjoyed the device and app. It works great on my Note3. The coaching is useful and has improved my running. I wish that it would continuously track my steps. I ordered the new device but I am scared that the developers will focus on the Apple app. Please continue to develop the android app. I would also like a race mode to help me track my performance during a 5k.

Nhật Đặng

Need Open run for Android The app works ok with my S5 on Android 5, except for a minor issue when I have to tap a few times on the icon for the app to connect to Moov device. Waiting for the Open run feature.

Jaime Duarte

Doesn't work with Android 5.0 This app worked right in my Motorola G with Android 4.0+, but once I upgrade it to Android 5.0, the app lost coaching function and recording activities. This app requires a sooner and serious update to make it useful and fulfill costumers investing.

Rich Osterland

Disappointed for a year now Disappointed is the word I'm going to use and here is why. I was an early backer and have barely used it because it did not support just wanting to track my runs. IPhone version does but the android support is woefully inadequate.

calum huckerby

Can't give it any higher... Was really excited to try this product. It connected easily with the app, didn't seem to have any problems even though I strapped it to my ankle. As soon as I pressed to start the run however it stopped my music playing (Google play music) despite saying on a previous window how well it works with most players. It then did absolutely nothing. Didn't count down, didn't track anything and certainly didn't offer me any coaching... Thoroughly dissapointed.

Great idea poor execution The constant coaching is a annoyance once you ate familiar with the app. There is a no way to turn it off

Chavdar Petkov

Amazing hardware, worse-than amateurish app Bluetooth issues, barely usable functionality.

Caleb Neevel

Moov connectivity The app is great other than my moov disconnects frequently from my phone but only during the breaks

Irish Parrothead

Can't even open it It crashes as soon as I try to open the app. So do all the other Moov apps.

Adrienne Cleminson

What am I doing wrong? I have used this app 3 times and so far it stills says I haven't done a workout. What am I doing wrong? I hit pause then end workout and then nothing!! I dont ever see a screen showing my end results. Someone please help!

Tanya Gabe

Disconnects more often now Using OnePlus One. Before this update, I probably only experienced Bluetooth disconnection during a run once but in every other run. Now I experienced it at least twice in 2 back-to-back runs. And I'm still waiting for the open training mode that requires no GPS location.

Terry Morrish

Not a bad start I am encouraged by Moov, yes it disconnects on blue tooth specifically on the running efficiency runs, yes the android app is missing a few features (Open Run) but it will get there. I am looking forward to that, stability (bluetooth fixes) and the treadmill distance (Nike plus didn't have it, at all on Android till this year). Looking forward to great things coming soon.

Terry Nicolau

Doesn't do the basics Why can't it track my steps just normal steps like the fitbit? Simple things it can't do or vibrate to alert you. Where is the gym trainer for Android? Bitterly disappointed actually wish I saved my money and bought another fitbit.
