We fixed an issue that was making the app's icons vanish; it should all look good now.
ME Bank part of our Finance and have average installs from 50000 to 100000. Last Update Feb. 3, 2016. Google play rating is 64.7087. Current verison is 1.8.2. Actual size 4.0 MB.
Not that smart Need to show the running balance each transactions not only the available balance just like you see on desktop.
Functional but not convenient This is a poorly designed basic mobile version of the website. Even then the layout is not optimal for mobile. A real banking app only asks for your calls at set up, then you create a login PIN number and never have to enter your customer number again. It gets a job done but it doesn't make anything easier. Even something as simple as automatically bringing up the number keypad for number fields might gain a star.
Average It's a wrapper around a series of web pages but it gets the job done. A little uninspiring in terms of design. However, it allows me to log in, view my balances, and transfer money fairly easily. A reasonable first effort. I'd like to see more secure authentication and a dedicated app in the future, with a little more functionality.
Non-functioning. Can't ever log in. Totally useless. I just opened an account with ME because I like their options, but this is actually enough to make me want to close it and bank elsewhere - having to load the website in browser is really inconvenient compared to the NAB and Commonwealth apps. The only thing that works is Find An ATM but even then, it doesn't let you look around and plan for where you can get cash ahead of time, just a radius of your location.
This is junk (still) To start with it's not even a app, it's nothing more then a shortcut to the internet which any fool can do. Secondly, showing the amount available in my MasterCard account and my two mortgages is totally useless to me. I need to see how much I owe on my mortgage, not how much I can withdraw from them. Very disappointed.
Useless If I could give this app a zero I would, I've tried re-installing it and it still will not work. The app will go to the login screen, I'll insert my details and hit login and it deletes my details and says "please insert your customer number" have a look at CBA.
Altogether a poor effort (and no change log?) The layout is totally inappropriate for a mobile screen (everything too spaced out). Seriously, who was the idiot who thought white text on a light blue background was going to be readable? I personally find it easier and more convenient to use the full website on my Galaxy S4 than either this app or the mobile website (which are the same thing anyway). I have accounts with several other banks globally and they ALL have far superior Apps in every way.
Terrible design, inconvenient login Guys, it's time to invest some time and money in bringing this app up to the standards of other modern banking apps. First thing, the redirection to a web page has to go. Also the typing of user login number is dumb - no one does that anymore. ANZ, Commbank, ING are examples that simply let you log in on your phone using a PIN after initial verification. This isnthe biggest gripe for me. Secondly please improve the interface and information displayed. It looks clunky, unorganized, and lacking info.

Poor excuse for a banking app Me Bank .. you need to develop a proper app (and banking website) or risk losing business to competitors who are investing in this area. Suggest you have a look at the competitors offerings and you'll see why you will lose customers.
Terrible The only bad thing about ME bank is its phone app. Even logging in is a pain in the neck. Suggestion: take a leaf out of NAB's book and make an easy login with a 4 digit pin. Navigating on this app is a nightmare. Again, NAB's app wins hands down. Sorry ME Bank but this app is not friendly for a phone user.
Worst app ever It is not even an app. It is just a browser working for ME online bank webpages exclusively. I would suggest to uninstall it and use chrome instead because even chrome could remember customer ID. Are you too poor to hire some real app developers?
Can't log in :S Desktop and browser work fine, but for some reason the app just refreshes the login page as if nothing had happened. When it was working, it would have been nice to have a 4 digit pin (especially since it seems to hate lastpass on desktop). But since I'm good at remembering 8 digit numbers, I'm willing to let that slide. Just let me log in again :(
Me bank app Could be better by remembering your access code so you didn't have to type access code and password in.
App never works on any phone! Not on my motto atrix 2 or my new LG G2 Xmas phone! It used to work perfectly! I use the website for internet banking which is excellent on mobile.
Needs to improve ME Bank needs to build an android app exactly like the ING Bank app, there one is completely custom and better and faster. With the ME Bank app, all it does is bring in the whole page from the mobile banking site and because of that its slower whereas with the ING app, all the Android app features and options are built into the app so instead of bring in the whole page, it brings in feeds, such as account balance, bpay, pay someone and ING have the 4 digit option.
Please Join the 21st Century! I just moved my banking from ING Direct to ME Bank. After using ING Direct's superb Android app I have found ME Bank's effort to be an absolute disappointment. Instead of entering a four digit PIN I now have to either memorise my customer ID and access code or store it on my phone. Not being able to add a new Bpay biller is ridiculous. Unfortunately the web based version of internet banking is not much better than this app. Please get with the times.
Good, Not Excellent This app is better than some of the comments here might suggest. My only real disappointment is the inability to add BPay billers from within the app. No doubt little things like these will be ironed out in the future.
Hardly an app You could at least make it better by remembering my customer id.
Poor quality for 2014 Logins seldom work, very frustrating. It feels like a year 9 school project......try again.
Uninspiring Just a wrapper on web pages. Ok to quickly check your balance. Don't expect awesome user exp that other banks do.
BWA app much better designed Not too hard to use EXCEPT when you want to transfer funds between 2 MEB Accounts and it comes up with the message "Invalid from account: You can not make a payment from this account, Please choose another account" WTF? They're both in my name & with MEB, how is that 'invalid' and not possible ?
Need a pin Pretty basic concept. Have a look at the ANZ app and you may get some ideas on what this app needs. At minimum a pin number so you dont have to type in a customer number and then access code.pain pain pain.
Not quite there Clunky navigation, no page loading indicator. Does the job but is not a finished product as a mobile app.
OK but not great Just the mobile website disguised as an app... Should make it easier to log in like remembering the costumer ID.

Not great Loads slowly after logging in since recent update. You should be able to set up pin to make login much more straight forward. No availability to setup paypass payments via nfc.
Needs pin access and more work Just moved from ANZ to MeBank and ANZ mobile banking app is in a different class, far better, more features and much easier to use. MeBank needs to have pin access and much better session/ state management. Quite hard to use on a mobile device as it is.
Galaxy 5. Easier to just use the internet login pages. I uninstalled it
Poorly designed Thankfully ME Bank is not my main bank so don't have to use this app often. In comparison to other banking apps this is horrible, C'mon ME Bank get your act together and design something decent!

Bad UI for a bank, the UI is really bad. Compare it with westpac or nab or common wealth, me bank ui is very bad. Hopefully, it upgrade it soon
Frustrating Ever since ME Bank did an upgrade to their system this app does not work on my phone or my tablet.
Doesn't work anymore. It stopped working after the recent internet/phone banking maintenance.

Slowly getting better Hooray! Getting more like a proper app! Love the new pin login and quick balance checker. However, just like the regular website, the layout of transactions is still hard to read! YOU NEED TO MAKE IT CLEARER WHICH DOLLAR AMOUNT CORRESPONDS TO WHICH TRANSACTION. 3 or 4 lines of text per transaction is too much, and when there's multiple transactions on one date it's too confusing!
Woeful Shocking app (from my device, anyway). I have to press randomly on the screen to try to access any of the main app areas. To the devs - check out the ingdirect app - that's what you should aim for.
Looks good I'm looking forward to trying it! Two pieces of feedback already though – either hide the pin as it's being typed or provide the option to do so. I don't want my pin visible at any point. Also, have the option to automatically exit the app upon logout. Thank you.
Latest Update Has Broken It This latest update - with the completely new look - has broken the app completely. The pages/screens don't render properly. All text input fields are "invisible" and only appear if I tap around the screen at random. If I happen to "hit" a field, it then renders/appears. Very, very poor and disappointing.
Great improvement...BUT...... It's finally more like a bank app for smartphone with PIN login feature. Design is comparable to apps from other major banks. However, with the 5% rebate ending for me, I'm going back to ING Direct.
Great work on new release Great new look and feel. Much more intuitive. Only one problem is that I can't exit the app. The logout appears to just return to the login again. Hope that can be fixed.
I don't know what I've done wrong, but I only get blank screens, can see overviews but doesn't help much.

Much better! Great job. App looks great! Thank you for implementing the pin login, it's so much easier. Would be great if you didn't have to press Done after the 4th digit though but that's a minor thing. And you should hide the pin while being typed like other people said.
FIx This piece of ... Xapp Have used old app no probs excellent BUT this update is no offence rubbish. It wont display input fields for access code etc on registration and when a miracle happens oh joy of joys it wont let me input.the sms code then crashes... Srsly. I promote MEBANK constantly but this makea iit harder. Fix this xapp please.
Locked out Tells me I need 2 pass authentication and now I can't access. Wouldn't it be better to check for this prior to updating?
Me can't bank this this (cr)app Even the old app that was just a link to the website was better then this poor excuse for an app. What is the point of an app that you can't use to pay electricity or gas bills with? The app keeps saying the amount in trying to pay is to high. Spoke to the back they tried to blame limits which is a load of rubbish as I can log on to the website and works. I'm changing banks soon if they don't sort this out!
huge improvement! good job mebank for listening to your customers! went from a bookmark to the website to an actual app. 5 stars! love the change to pin log in rather than typing 20 numbers to check my balance.

The old app at least worked on the Samsung s2, I've got the same issues as another Samsung user, nothing appears on screen unless you happen to poke the right area, it was almost impossible to set up because of the same reason but I persisted in poking the screen and finally got there, why I did that is beyond me because the rest of it is almost useless.please fix Samsung issues, not everyone has a new iphone.

What a waste of time is the latest update Big deal, saved one click to log in but you still have to stare at the ME logo for 5 seconds. If you hit return button once too often you are logged out immediately but use the Log Out from the menu and still have to go through all the crap. Still cant multitask.

Unable to add payee. Cant log in to Internet banking because access code isnt working and have to wait till tomorrow to fix. Found it difficult at firsg to trf cash between accts too
Great app Beautifully designed!! Really keeping up to date with modern designs is great to see. One point of improvement would be to speed up the signin process, and to allow users to switch apps without flow being interrupted by the slow signin, can get a little tedious
Crap App Maybe okay if I could register! It sent me two access codes, neither work, and nor does my existing access code. Can still access via internet using my existing code. Now I have to frig around with a call centre, during business hours. HOPELESS! Looks like I will stick to the internet access instead of this crap app!
Usable But not amazing. It has all the functions I need but I did love the balance snapshot you could get even without logging in. Seems to have gone with this update sadly.

Brilliant Brilliant app for all of my needs. Only issue I have is that I need to log onto the computer if I wish to communicate via message. Can you please have this included in the next app.

How the hell am I meant to log in, when the verification msg never arrives, and when I send another one, I can't see it because then both messages arrive and I can no longer read any of them from my status bar. If I open up the msg and write down the code, then go back into Me bank Ap, I have to start the register process all over again.... meaning I have to ask for a new code, and I'm stuck in an endless loop. I would really appreciate a reply from the developers as this is a terrible issue.
Love the balance peek feature and ability to create billers. Slowly improving in functionality all the time. The latest version is the best yet. Keep at it guys.
Annoying Logs off every time you switch between apps. Don't do that. It's annoying. It's imperative that I switch between apps for details etc

Samsung doesn't like this version Just freezes at the home screen. Was okay on my other Htc android.
Loading... Or lack of! Only loads about 10% of the time. Hard to do your banking when you can't get in.
Great app! Can I view my accounts and transactions? Transfer funds? Make payments? Securely log in and out? Yes to all. AND I can view my balances with one button. Don't understand all the hate out there but it serves my needs... And is pretty to look at. :)
It still needs work It's a bit better but no so on android app. you need to do more work as the headings cover your bank details etc and yes adding news payees would be good. Mmmm and I've read alot about the 5% sounds as though it's something you need to consider!
Doesn't work Hey guys. Unfortunately I can't transfer between ALL my accounts using the app. It only let's me choose two accounts whereas online I can transfer from all.
Minimal, but good Compared to some other banks that are either just wrappers for the mobile site or slow and bloated, ME bank is actually simple to use and does the job so far.
Pretty rubbish I like me bank but their ap and online banking website are rubbish. They always hang and don't show enough details regarding transactions and account specifics. Both really need a total revamp.
Stepping up to the mark ME bank used to have a truly rubbish app. They realised that their competitors were taking away all their tech savvy customers and as effectively an online-only bank they couldn't afford that. They dug in and spruced up their app. Now they have a perfectly usable app with a slick user interface and they are back in the game.
System/server error all the time System always crashes or becomes unavailable after you've pressed the transact button. There'll be a notification that the app can't reach the servers or something like that. I'm technology savvy, so it's not me. Can never get any payments done especially urgent ones
Good Works well.
Please don't logout as soon as the app loses focus. Makes it impossible to copy and paste details from an invoice etc when making a payment. Just prompt user to logout (yes/no) when they exit the app by tapping the back button twice.
Frustrating Accidentally pressing back button logs you out completely however when you log out properly through app you have to wait to be returned to log in again even though your finished
Simple but ugly design The interface is not intuitive and is very clunky. More work needed. Learn from ING!
Needs improvements The app it self is crap! One thing I don't like is they don't show what money is pending to be taken out. They need to improve it.

Takes long time to load with no indication on screen, compared with other bank apps. It requires lots more work.
App Issues Just a few things about the app that need to be fixed. When you leave the app it logs you out and this makes it hard to pay someone if their account details are actually on your phone. Also can we have a widget to show balances without having to open the app for Samsung users and a cardless Paywave feature like CBA does using NFC. Thanks.
AMAZING bank! WORST app ever ??? I love this bank so much but their mobile ? app is like an original Donkey Kong hand held game. you know the one without a colour screen and 2 buttons. Shows im old & still more tech savy than this app. Just like that but, the jump button is broken so you can't dodge the barrels! PLEASE FIX THIS HORRIBLE THING! OMG PLEASE! - let me view a transaction without having to logout & back in to "refreshhhh" ? or cancel a scheduled payment, change a daily limit. You know stuff that a branch less bank needs! - ?
Pretty basic app, but does most of what i need on the go. Main problem is it only actually starts up about half the time. It just sits there with the logo on the screen doing nothing half the time, I have to go to the app manager and force it to quit before it will start up again (Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, 6.0.1). If this persists I'll be going back to Commbank as their app works brilliantly and I do almost all of my banking on mobile.
It can take a while to log in and perform functions, and sometimes doesn't let me log in at all. Would benefit also from consolidating some of the functions to be more intuitive. E.g. there are different icons for transferring from savings and to savings - on the CBA app it is one icon that you can swap the positions of the accounts in. Also a bug that means when I transfer money between accounts, it shows the deduction but not the addition - I have to log out and in after each transaction to refresh.
What is this trash!! This is my first comment on an app, due to the fact I normally CBF but I had to give my 2 cents worth for this s*** house waste of time... Again good bank, good phone staff, no wait time when you call them, but for s**** sake sack the kindergartens you have running your app development team and shell out so that it matches the CUA banking app and incorporate paywave!!!! :) please invest some coin into fixing this abortion you call an app and I bet you'll get more business :)
Still not worth using Logs out when the app loses focus, so have fun copying payment details from an email etc. I wanted to save a copy of a payment receipt but, of course, it logged out after hitting the wrong button. No receipt. Wonderful.
Having to log in every time you move away from the app is very annoying, makes it hard to use.
Much better A far better effort than previous versions, but still lagging a long way behind other banking apps out there.
Missing Touch ID Login Please provide Touch ID login support like you have for Apple devices.

Poor design Changed phones and cannot log in. Requires account name and password for full account, however when I enter it I always get a wrong id/password message and after 3 attempts I am of course locked out. I know I'm using the right authentication details, I still log into my account via the website.
Lack of functionality The app has limited functionality. For example no way of tracking account balance. Also it logs out every time you move out of the app. Please fix these things ME Bank!
App needs to have login grace period Everytime you jump out of the app you're forced to re-enter your pin and cannot continue what you were previously doing in the app. For example, say I want to pay someone whose details are located in another app, I'd have to get out of the Mebank app, go to that person's details, copy it, enter the Mebank app, enter my pin and navigate back to the Pay Someone screen. It's highly inefficient - the CommBank app doesn't force you to restart what you were doing everytime you exit the app.
Slow and lacking in features The app can be woefully slow to login. Sadly the "peak" feature which should make it easy to quickly see one's balances is also slow and send to require a clunky login procedure to reveal. INGDirect does peak a lot better and is much better to login with, not to mention it's aesthetic quality is far superior to what ME Bank has to offer. Much like all the smaller banks, ME Bank's app also lacks NFC payment functionality though hopefully Google Pay will in some part alleviate this native deficiency.
App and website are not very good. Boring design and definitely not enough info on transactions etc. This really needs a revamp to come even close to ANZ or CBA.both of which are extremely details, the icons and details pop and just works better. Pls pls fix this app.
Better than it used to be User friendly in a lot of ways, except that as soon as you switch to another app it logs out. It is thus impossible to copy and paste bank details into the app.

Had to switch banks Left me bank because the app is just terrible compared to the other big banks.
Guys need some serious updates Takes to long to load, and lacking of too many basic features.
Paz Works well but needs to be updated and should show pending transactions history as soon as you pay pass .
Mobile tap and pay support Please add mobile tap and pay if not though app then though samsung pay or android pay
Does the job Allows for basic banking on the go, plus atm finder is helpful.
