The Knife Rights LegalBlade™ App IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY and DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. You must not rely on the information provided by the LegalBlade™ App as an alternative to legal advice from a competent attorney.
Version 1.0 includes all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Relatively few cities are included in this initial launch, but they will be added continuously going forward. Thanks for your understanding.
All data is maintained on the server to ensure you always have the most current information that is available to Knife Rights. As more cities are added, they automatically become available.
You can also use the app to advise Knife Rights of your local knife laws, which after review and confirmation, can be added to the database. In addition, you can use the app to notify Knife Rights if you find an error, so that we can investigate and make a correction if appropriate. Both submissions require you to provide us a name and email so that we can communicate back to you. This information will be used only for this purpose and will not be retained or sold.
Please note that a legal disclaimer is shown and must be acknowledged each time before the legal information is provided. Because we anticipate that this app will be used to show the information it contains to others than just the phone's or tablet's owner, our attorneys insisted on this "feature." We apologize for any inconvenience.
This app was created courtesy of a donation to Knife Rights Foundation. The nominal charge will ensure Knife Rights can update the LegalBlade™ App with any changes in the law, add more cities and improve the app with additional features going forward.

Terrific Source State and local laws can be very confusing. It's nice to have source that rubber is easy to understand before contacting local officials.
Awesome app but... Only thing I would change is to allow the user to view the app Vertically and Horizontally . On my S4 i can only view the info horizontally. Other than that I absolutely love this app.
Great app! Just learned a lot. Honestly.
Great app Very useful for travel.
Useful, ...cuz, dumb laws. I live in FL, but I'm from KY and cross GA and TN to see family. I don't want to read dry legal crap of each state's web pages. This app is great. ...I found, I bend a law or two. Good to know. More city codes plz, or say that there are only state laws in each city. Like ...Gainesville, FL is a blue dot, surrounded by red, so they may have more restrictions.
Limited so far but worth the purchase Not much information for St. Louis but hopefully that will change.
Definitely a must for and knife nut.
Thank You Knife Rights! I've only applied the app for my immediate location but very informative. The "what to do" when confronted with law enforcement is great. Buy it, knife folks. PS - I gave 4 stars Only because of limited use so far. I'll update over time. I'm sold!
Not bad Definitely useful information here, but the interaction was not great. Not a fan of being forced to use landscape format, and generally could be more user friendly.
Jehovah Izuz Wegibbor The LORD Strong and Mighty
Information ok but app is terrible This app takes twice add long as necessary because you have to scroll through two (!) disclaimers before you can even use the app. Every time! Enough already. We get it. Also, the chart format is not intuitive.
The definitive app for knife enthusiasts The definitive app for knife enthusiasts
Very useful Thanks for all the work put into this app. It's great to know that someone cares so much. I appreciate the effort to challenge and change knife laws.
Nice ref. app Useful app for ref. purposes. Would like to see an option to change font size.
useless This app is useless I select at Texas in that only show me the state law no city laws anywhere in the state and I tried other states and nothing half of them don't have anything in there other than the state law and not any city ordinances well that kind of makes this app useless
Does not work on Galaxy Note 3 All screens are blank, except for initial disclaimer. Used to work, but I assume an update broke it for Note 3.
Not working The disclaimer page is blank and I can't proceed to the tables. Please fix. I'm on a galaxy s7.
Good info, bad implementation This app contains essential information for anyone who carries a knife, especially those traveling to different states. However, the persistent disclaimers, poor design, forced horizontal viewing, and tables that don't format properly render the app difficult to use.
Decent app, but a pain in the @$$ to use Simple fix. Allow the app to be viewed vertically instead of only horizontally, and I'll give it a 5.
Very useful Helpful when I'm planning travel. I now know which states to avoid completely.
