OFSC Doesn't pinpoint location Location doesn't even try to find me. Android doesn't recognize that the GPS is trying to be accessed. Worked on my iPhone. This app is junk if I can't find out where I am. FYI Nexus5 running lollipop.

Bill Barrett

Good idea, needs work. Slow, does not pinpoint location. Would be nice if it had a map available without data, useful for when there's no phone service!

Austin CAMERON

Its good needs work though. A district search would be nice (you select the district you will be in and it zooms in on only that district). Also make it so you can download the district maps you want so that when you are out on the trails you can view them. Other that the only other problems I had was lag when zooming. Fix it and every sledder will thank you

Paul Derocchis

Wish could see my location on the map...worked last year...would really help when out in the middle of nowhere...5 stars when this is worked on

Colin Werner

Do not buy for Hi res Tablet If this is the future of snowmobiling --- its over Pretty much unusable for my Galaxy tab s tablet. The buttons are to small to push and the type is unreadable it is so small. Sluggish and slow on a $400 tablet. Some of this might be forgivable if the location updated continuously. Can not imagine trying to use controls at -20 --- are you kidding? NEEDS A LOT OF WORK --- CHARGING FOR THIS IS A RIP

Mike Olexiuk

Needs work. Offline mode would make a world of difference. Could use a lot more detail. Needs offline mode. Road names are way to small.

C Begley

Great app! I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. This app is so much better than having to print out the maps and bring with you, which get wet from the snow and there's a problem. It even has the roads included which are not included on the PC version. It's great to have on my phone while traveling.

Greg Richards

Ok start of an app Good base app but functionality needs improvement

Wayne Ingram

Works well on my galaxy s 5.

Jack Reed

Waste of money do not download this app piece of crap

Wes Trotter

Useless on android DOES NOT WORK ON NEXUS 4. CANNOT PINPOINT LOCATION. Updated version does not work either!

Darryl Pajot

It's getting there Good for a quick look at trail conditions.

Nathan Malbrecht

Dislike Would be better if you could get the map offline. That way when you have no service like in most parts of northern Ontario you are still able to view the map

Fraser Addison

An Excellent example on how NOT to port an app from IOS This app had next to no thought put into it for the Android OS. GPS location works only 30% of the time, maps don't load or are slow to load. Comon developers... If you are going to do something like this and charge top dollar comparatively, well then do it right. Sometimes the "IOS to Android" EASY button is not always the best to use... btw... This app works fantastic on Iphone!

Rob Heise

Not worth paying for! Does not work well with android. gps will not load, just says searching all the time. useless without gps, I can look at a paper map to see the trails.

Jamie Davey

Great Concept but Doesn't work well on Android This app doesn't work very well on Android. I can get the map to display with the trail status and that's about it. I can NOT get the GPS to display my current position on the map which I think would be key functionality. I hope the club intends to revise this app and I would be willing to pay more for it - if it worked better.

Lisa Klein-Gunnewiek

SUCKS I have WiFi, phone service and GPS and it will NOT load the trails. Sometimes shows the accommodations and fuel. Even the web site maps do not work with Samsung One, Galaxy SIII, Note or any BlackBerry device.

Kirsten Lowery

Trail status not showing up This app was working great but now when I try and look at trail status I don't see the trails anymore just labels. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still doesn't work.

Sal D

I want my $3 back! Seriously; how does it sit well with the developers and owners of this app; to take peoples money for something that clearly doesn't work on Andriod? Fix it, or give everyone thier money back. It's the least you could do to save your integrity.

Carl Adam

Does not work! Please fix for android users!

Mike MacLeod

So slow it's unusable A paper map is far more useful than this poor excuse for an app. Junk.

Andrew Hill

Does not locate GPS position App will show "Searching" but will never locate position.

A Google User

Still slow but better Much better than last year. No ads makes me happy. Still slow though

A Google User

Current version does not allow you to zoom out. Tries to open another map app.

Andrew Cole

Bugs Gps doesnt work on my samsung galaxy s2. Waiting for a fix....

Scott Clarke

iSnowMobile works awesome on my Samsung GS3.

Patrick Lafontaine

Getting better.... Much better than last release. Seems like it may actually be useful now. Need to add back button support.

Darrin Poitras

Not worth 3 bucks Very slow not easy to use can't plan my route my computer shows theres fuel at sportsman lodge this does not even show the lodge at all shows like 3 gas stations for all of Sudbury

Ryan Denomme

Terrible updating The status of the trails doesnt update properly. Its hard to plan a day when the status on the map is closed but if I phisically drive by the trails they are open. Laziness on behalf of the clubs reporting to the ofsc or laziness of the ofsc site admin.

Dave Barclay

Not worth the money App very slow. In my opinion the app should be free considering how much we spend on trail permits. Half the time the app does not know where you are so don't rely on it to get you out of a jam. I would like a refund.

Ryan Doyle

Even at $3, I feel ripped off! I spend a bunch of money on snowmobiling every year and that's OK, I enjoy the heck out of it. I decided to pay the measly three bucks for this app even though I have already paid 80 for the Redpine maps that are available for my GPS. This app is super slow, has yet to show me my location even though the GPS services are running on my Galaxy 3, and in an area where data is available and fast - able to stream movies. Save the three dollars and give to a homeless person. It would be better spent.

Steve Marier

Not bad, actually. Needs maybe a bit more work but this app seems to be doing alright on my S3!

Bryan Coxworth

Disappointed I bought this app on my Samsung S2 and now have an S4 and it says not compatible? Anyone else have this issue and does anyone know why? I always found this app very slow to respond and use. Very frustrating. Was hoping the new S4 would solve it but it will not even load as it says non-compatible. :(

Leah Brand

Garbage Needs major improvements, very slow app, seems to use network for location instead of gps??? Cannot plan trip, set way point, enable showpath, seriously??? Why did i buy this???? Edit: whoa! There is ads too? I have a rooted phone so i get no ads,but someone else is complaining of it. This is a paid app...and there is ads!!!! Wtf. :(

Matthew Harvey

Terrible App, waste of money I was so excited to get this app, awesome idea. GPS works ok, but is always off by just enough that i can't tell where i am. Doesn't matter, because trail status is always a sea if red (closed) trails anyway. Doesn't work half the time, isn't updated...

david keene

DONT BUY THIS It simply doesn't work. I'm not making this up. Absolutely useless.

Dave Batterton

Don't waste $ Paid for this app and first time it snows I can't connect to ofsc map base. Wtf. Can I take back that one star? What about a refund?

mike h

Could be much better Needs to run data, slow loading. Would be nice if the polaris app was set up like this one. ...after all it just needs gps without consistently loading info. ...and gps is accurate

Gary Scott

Good for checking status of trails, but that's it. This app needs a severe overhaul... it's the same thing as when it came out a few years ago. With so few trails open this winter, there has to be some extra coin available to the OFSC that they could hire some high school student to improve it...like GPS tracking, offline viewing, add fuel stops, restaurants, accommodations, etc. Useless to use on the trails.

David Whiteside

Seriously? I rarely pay for an app, but really wanted an interactive trail map that pin points my position. Too bad this doesn't!!

Bill Wiedemann

Handy app If you dont get service where you ride you can screen shot the maps ahead of time.

Scott Steel

Waste of money Was out riding and couldnt get it to load! Full service LTE.... Paper map would have been a better idea.....and will not pinpoint my location. Almost as bad as trying to view the online map on mobile....but at least that works.....sorta

Paul Hansmann

slow on updated trail conditions Freezes and takes them forever to update trail conditions

Ryan Racine

Could be better I would like to see more features like dropping a pin (to know where your trailer is)

terri rodley

Doesn't show open/closed trails, freezes and is glitch. Prefer Polaris app.

Glen Butcher

Needs updating. Adding a feature that can calculate route distance between point would be nice too so you don't have to click on every littler section.

Harold Williamson

Saw this app on a iphone and it was great. Put it on my android and it is real slow and defaults to usa map. Very poor app. Save your cash

mitch albert

Great app! Does what I need it to...

Mark M

This app has some great features, however it could be more accurate and snowmobilers expect the best especially when they are paying for this app, if you combined the good things of this app with the good things of the Rider X app you'd have a winner. E.g. snow depth, fire route numbers.

Brett X

Needs a lot of improvement Really needs improvement. Gps rarely works. Clunky and slow. Suggest partnering with polaris and use their rider x app
