How totally useless. After eventually getting the app up & running, which was a challenge at best, (Particularly frustrating for an IT consultant of 24 years), it was at first frustrating having to cycle thru the weight pages repeatedly to get the data to update. Now it doesn't update the data at all. Still can connect to the scales after quite a few attempts with the test option, but this is hit & miss, and when it does eventually connect, it will record a reading, but shows none of the previous measurements. All my weighing's are being uploaded to the ihealth website & can be viewed there, proving the scales are connecting to my router & uploading the data to the cloud. How pathetic that the app can't reliably make this simple connection reliably & retrieve the data. And yes, I've uninstalled & reinstalled numerous times, but this proves to be either a waste of my time, or results in a fix that fails again after a few days. I've even spoken to an ihealth support guy on 2 occasions, with promises of a callback, but never received a return call on either occasion. I received these scales from a Pharmacy, so I could evaluated them..... You can guess my recommendation...
Useless app I have the iHealth Edge watch. The first 2 days it would connect to the app on my phone and my tablet. Now, it won't connect to either device.
Disappointment! No trend lines in graphs, and an extremely primitive interface. Just trying to start the app after fumbling with the top-heavy cuff made for giants raises my blood pressure. Still shadowing this device with my original BP apparatus every day. The readings are OK but really, the graph should be improved to at least the same standards and options as iBP or OnTrack WITH a trend line (easy, check out MS-Excel for some theory). Lose the kindergarten graphics. Device does not switch off, ever, although light fadingly pulsates. Developer has never heard of landscape orientation for Android tablets. Listen up, fix, maybe then get a 2-star rating.
Poorly designed I know little programming and could probably do a better job. Keep on crashing. Problem is, you need it to enable the device... Go figure right?!
Why ? I can not open this app !!!!!
IHealth BP It is a wonderful app to observe and track one's BP.
Never works consistantly I have the blood pressure cuff that links to this app. The app for my android phone never works. It crashes often and rarely pairs to the device. It isn't much better on my iPhone or ipad, but it will work sometimes with apple. If you want something that is easy to use and works consistantly, don't choose ihealth products or the app.
Is not a trouble free experience I have a heart monitor and it worked well enough but one day it started flashing. There was tech support for this but I ended up putting this app on another phone. The scale is not easy to work with and it's better to use it hands free. What looses all the stars is that the app only uploads the data on the cloud but won't download from it. I did a rest on the phone and all my old data is stuck on the cloud. Be warned. Let's hope they can fix thsee bugs as the product themselves are not cheap. I expect more.
Don't buy I spent over an hour trying to get it to connect with my Bluetooth and the app. Waste of time. Don't trust this company
Junk Scale and Bluetooth doesn't work. Wasted my money on this product
Manual input no longer works with update Updated program, no longer can manually update information
Just does not work. Don't waste your time. I have a Nexus 4 stock, listed as a supported device. The application will connect and I see the bluetooth icon on the ihealth device, but will not do so automatically, I must manually swipe to the right and select the device. It takes so long to connect that I had to increase my screen timeout to 5 minutes from 30 seconds because the application will close if your phone goes to sleep. NOT HOW APPS ON ANDROID WORK. It has displayed Syncing in progress for the past 10 minutes (I bumped up the screen time to 30 minutes.) I have never successfully gotten it to sync.
Does not sync I have a am3 and it never is able to sync its ridiculous. Please fix this!
It Works Just Fine After.. I can see why people are frustrated for setting up. Instructions are only apple device and it only mentions apple devices. This app and weight sclale will work on android. You will need to pair the device first and after loading the app, go into Device setup and sync the the scale to WiFi network. Just need to have a little patience to get it worked out the first time. Make sure to register your profile in the application in order to take advantage of all of the scale ' s features.
It won't work on android Waste of money.
Useless The previous version was poor, but it at least worked most of the time. The latest version just says "no device detected" every time, turning my blood pressure monitor in to an expensive paperweight. Avoid this company at all costs.
Does not work with Android. I've never seen such a bad gadget like the iHealth Activity and Sleep Tracker. Connection with Android does not work. Most useless app on Android!
No Device Detected Can't Connect to the device anymore. did 10s reset, unpairing-repairing everything mentioned in the user guide. Cant use the the device at all!!!!
Does not work bought the watch but it can't pair with my xperia s. what a shame! please do yourself a favor and don't buy or download this company products.
Won't work I am a software engineer and I could not get it to work. App said my galaxy 3 was compatible. Not. Getting my money back.
No Device Detected How lame. I was able to get the device to pair via Bluetooth but it wouldn't work via the app. I followed the directions exactly as the manual stated. I could manually enter the information, but that really defeats the point.
CRAP After reading all the reviews about how bad this was I went to the store to buy another unit by another manufacturer but this was the only unit that did a particular feature so I bought it anyway. When I brought it home it would not connect to my phone. I could pair it with Bluetooth but the phone app would not see it. One time and one time only it did see it and then crashed. Don't waste your money on this piece of crap.
Impossible to use with any consistency. The connection is limited to a few devices and even then errors are enough to quit using this app. It has been a waste of money. Great idea, but until it is reliable it is worthless.
How are you supposed use this!!! I bought the blood pressure, oxygen sensor and Top of the range scales and none of them can connect to my phone this is ridiculous! There is NO information on connecting to android phones! But yet it is advertised as working with it? What is going on? LG G2 Is my phone it's all going back if it's not fixed immediately
They do not update the software It barely worked with KitKat and does not work with lollipop.
Ihealth Blood pressure meter is a piece of shit. Connects but while building pressure, will suddenly stop. The weighing scales is no better. Takes many attempts to connect. I suspect it's just not built to work with Android.
Confused Ive had this watch for nearly a year now and for the last 8 months or so ive had it connected with my sony xperia z1... Worked great, uninstalled it to refresh the app yesterday and i am now told my phone isn't compatible... How come? Its been on here for ages... Can some one please fix this problem? Thanks
Won't connect to my Bluetooth so I can't even start the monitor
I've go cheated I 've bought one wristwatch tracker & blood pressuer cuff from canton fair 3days ago . And try to use it on my Ipad3 . I downloaded the software and it worked with the cuff scale after all it gave me unreasonable reading like 295/170 ????. And about the watch still not work at all just show the statement " launch app ver 10 " ???!!! When feel boring I called the customer service but they answer me in vety rudely and say try again and charge the devise before use ??????here I've known that I've got cheated
I have ihealth hs5 and software work perfect with that, but little trick need to sync app and hardware ;)
Very poor performance My android device will only detect the scale one time in more than twenty-five attempts. I have replaced the batteries and have done everything recommended. Instead of helping to improve my health all it does is add stress.
Cant pair w/ HTC M8 Have trouble pairing my M8 to the ihealth scale. End up using my ipad to connect to the scale :/
Bad iOS clone App looks like it's been badly copied from iOS instead of made for Android. It keeps asking me to turn on Bluetooth when starting, even after my scale is set up. Is there no way to get rid of that annoying pop-up? Also, the app needs to be able to connect to runkeeper and MyFitnessPal.
Doesn't work on my samsung But will work on my android phone.
Very bad app Can't connect to my AM3
Won't work on either s4 or Galazy Tablet Wouldn't even install on my tablet and after installing on the s4 it crashes every time I try to go into setup. Terrible app!
Not working on Samsung galaxy s2
Don't work High screen boost2
Awfull It doesn't work even on asus nexus. Doesn't enter, shows entering error.
Dear developers I understand, that your main goal is to sell as much AM3 as you can, BUT! Pay your attention to the software!! Your tracker is not working properly!! Why do I need it, if can't even sync it?? I tried on IPhone 4s & 5, and on mine HTC One M7 (all of them are in the list of supported devices) Don't you care about reputation??? Useless device and useless app((
Application crashes after logging in account. Works as guest.
Samsung Galaxy S4 mini iHealth app crashing on Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. Please, fix it!
For Android its horrible After spending days trying to connect the scale to my wireless network and to my phone and using it for 1 week here is what i dislike: 1. I cannot believe we are in 2015 and there is an apps that is this horrible!!! I mean the scale look fancy and work good but the app, I think was developed over night...bad readings, multiple sync errors, weird readings popping on the screen 2. You just do not know how to make another user on another phone it is not explaing what so ever 3. Bluetooth would've been better
HS3 Scale Will pair with two Samsung galaxy S4s and iPad however when launch the app to log a reading via blutooth neither my Vitals nor the My Vitals 2.0 apps will connect to the scale. Worthless for what I need it to do.
Doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 I don't know what is the point of this application and the watch which is mostly designed for Apple users
