Proper ventilation helps avoiding mold! This apps helps to decide if airing makes sense by calculating the expected relative humidity after ventilation. You can use this app to determine if you should open your windows for airing or not.
It calculates the expected relative humidity at a temperature ("inside"), if the temperature and humidity is at given values ("outside").
Important note: this app does not measure the humidity or temperature. It calculates the change of the relative humidity in relation to the temperate - thus the term "relative". Please see wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humidity for definition. And yes, there is 99% humidity: your cold bottle of coke is wet on the outside even when it's hot - that's due to the condensation of the humid air, which is cooled near the cool bottle.
If the humidity is below 65% the number is shown in green, otherwise red. Humidity should be less than 65% to prevent mold growth.
It gives you a good approximation for the expected humidity after ventilation at the assumption that the air is completely exchanged.
An ideal model is assumed, you can think of a bottle full of air: the air in the bottle has a certain temperature and relative humidity (labeled "outside" in this app), if you now change the temperature of the air in the bottle, the relative humidity will change to a new level (labeled "inside").
Temperature unit °C or °F can be set in Settings menu screens.

GWu part of our Weather and have average installs from 50000 to 100000. Last Update June 16, 2011. Google play rating is 70.2174. Current verison is 1.2. Actual size 74.0 KB.
Nearly perfect Need to know if humidity outside is less than humidity inside. If less and temp reasonable than open windows, if more just keep AC on. Simple, quick. Right now need to use full keyboard input, hopefully will change to simpler time update type of input.
Works as advertised Helpful for figuring out when to run the HRV and when not to to control inside humidity.
Exactly what I was looking for. I I didn't realize that. That a 10 degree drop in temperature. Resulted in 20 point jump in relative humidity. I guess I'm keeping the windows closed.
On behalf of the developer Samsung galaxy S3 doesnt have a humidity sensor or temperature sensor.. very few devices have them. So please blame your device, not the app. It works fine
poor if a could measure the humidity outside then a would do the same for inside and a wudnt need this app absolutly pointless
Samsung S3 wrong info How can it be? 37·c out and 71% humidity out and 23·c inside the programs gives 99.9% inside humidity????
Can't access settings Would be good otherwise
