Apk file size: 10.0 MB

Place shortcuts on your home screen to submit HTTP requests to all your favourite RESTful APIs, Webservices and other URL resources.

- Built-in or custom Icons for Shortcuts
- HTTP and HTTPS URLs
- GET, POST, PUT, DELETE and PATCH
- Basic Authentication
- Custom headers and body
- Display response in a toast or run silently
- Requests can be delayed until internet connectivity becomes available
- Value placeholders
- Integration with Tasker and other automation apps

Some ideas what to use HTTP shortcuts for:
- Execute a script on your web server
- Control your Home Automation System and IoT devices
- Interact with VLC media player's web interface
- Tell your surveillance system to snap a picture

You can find icon packs for this on the store: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=ipack&c=apps

This app is open source, find it on Github: https://github.com/Waboodoo/HTTP-Shortcuts

If you have any questions, feature requests, want to help me translate the app or give any other comments feel free to contact me: [email protected]

Whats new

    - Variables to prompt for value input on shortcut execution
    - 3rd party integration (e.g. Tasker)

Easy to use It would be nice to infer protocol from pasted url instead of having to choose it from the dropdown. Also would be nice to bundle some icons.

Great app. However, when I create a shortcut, it always appears with the name "Execute Shortcut" on the home screen (inside the app the name is correct however).

Cody McPherson

Simple yet useful app It already does what I need it to do out of the box, but I was able to compile my own thanks to the open source code. Thanks!

Works exactly how I need it to work with sending POST requests to my Home-Assistant server. Instant action, no delay. The app re-opens when you execute a widget so that takes off 1 star. I'd like the app to stay hidden. Edit: Developer responded. 5 stars!

Perfect Perfect, does what it says. Would prefer the option to make the shortcuts into thumbnails but it's not really important.
