AWESOMENESS could use more features like adding more categories like blurays/dvds/cds/ etc... other than that app works flawless with my asus transformer prime tablet and pc.. also works great on my Samsung 4 and my ladies Samsung 3. Kids can watch movies from own devices with out messing with my PC! LOVE IT Update!! Question!!! Is it me or does this database not recognize mp4 files? All mine seem to read are the mkv. I try to add .mp4 as a video file but says can not recognize! HELP!!! Nevermind, All I did was add the extention and it worked, wow all this time owning app and never knew this. THANKS THIS IS BEST APP

Incredible This app is brilliant, browse through all the films and TV series you have on your pc (with covers and info!!) Then pick the one you want to watch. Only negative is the interface is a little clunky and the main menu lags on S4. Browsing through the titles is smooth though...

Dmitri Chamchad

Very good apps but need to expand to Chromecast

Aaron Hunjas

Doesn't work No useful guide anywhere on the internet. No matter what server I run or try to connect to its connection failed. Even with firewall disabled. Create something that is capable of setting itself up like airdroid

Mike K

Great app, works as expected.

Ricky Lui

port setting wont save! I set a custom port on server but om the client side, the port settings wont save! So cant connect!

Patti Bills

Huh Won't play video or music so what's the point? I'm uber discombobulated cuz thumbnail previews clearly shows videos being watched so..... What am I missing? It stated in the description it won't play video. Stay tuned for more blunders of blondie... Me

Finally an app that allows me to easily access all of the media files on my WindowsPC with a simple interface. Excellent product that works well.

Still great but... (Edited) No longer have the option to "play on device". Bring back this feature please. Edit: My mistake. The option for playing on the device is still there. Press play and pick the app to use.

Nice app but a little buggy I got wmp remote working in about 5 minutes but had trouble using home media to access my library. After figuring out the data base software I was able to add my music library to the app. Now the default port on the app is 8655 while the default port on the software is 8732 someone should fix that so they match and work right off the bat. After that I experienced some glitches getting in the menu systems where I would click a sub folder and it wouldn't load but in the end I sorted that out by restarting it.

Easy-to-use Only took a couple minutes to set up. Don't forget to hold for to do extras like copy to deivice

Slow as molasses If I try to play a movie on my Nexus 7 from my PC, it first tries to download the entire movie to my device. This takes about 20 minutes and fails about 95% of the time. Looked great in the youtube video, too bad it doesn't work that way. Check out the developer's website, it's full of ads!

Great app Though it leaves a lot to be desired, its still one of the best video management app out there...and its FREE.

Poor app I dont like it. I dont know how to work it or how to get this app to work with my PC or Laptop :(

claudio beretta

Gg It does not show anything

candergart

Has potential but too buggy

A Google User

cool idea but... It would be nice if you designed a video player that goes with it since other video players are buggy and if i could watch it on another pc instead of the tablet or the pc that has the movies but overall its a great idea!!!!! Thank you

Totally professional, worth $100 ACER ICONA A200 Tablet, Total home theater controller , Cataloged , all my mess 400+ movies with missing labels, movie and album information and covers in my external hard drive and made the perfect library with accordion style jukebox kiosk swiping. It looks like my personal home "Red box". Then they suggested I get the vlc remote for total control Awesome! And suggested I get ESfile Explorer to stream all that back onto the handheld A200 tablet for around the house, nothing to upload to a 3rd party program/cloud direct access to personal files just loves it great job will be donating..

Very Promising Slightly buggy when trying to play an album, skips to the last song. A bit laggy in Gallery view too. Optimisation for tablet would be great. Even still a lot of things to like here.

A Google User

Clear or detail instructions Just downloaded and does not work. Unified remote is better, simple set up and works w/in 5 of set up...

A Google User

Works for me Didn't have any problems setting it up and everything worked first time. My only problem is I have a lot of home movies that have to be added manually 1 at a time.

A Google User

Like not love. Takes a little work to get set up. Especially if you have a lot of media. Could be a little more user friendly, and GUI isn't exactly pretty. BUT, it does work, and it works VERY well.

A Google User

Very good Once you get the manager set up properly on the pc, this application is truly fantastic. I had been building my own media database for my collection, but this blows my work away in most cases. I look forward to seeing updates and more applications from banamalon in the future. Great work!

A Google User

Don't waste your time! After hours of changing ports and restarting still can't access any media. Instructions may make sense to the developers but to the average person they may as well be written in GREEK! Stick with the win remote and don't bother with the home media service.

A Google User

Love it - best one like it Works perfectly on my Ascend.

Sexy As good as it getS... would have given 5stars iif it had a tablet optimised view (bigger album art)
