Hashi is a logic puzzle.

Connect islands by horizontal and vertical single or double bridges such that in the end, all islands are connected with the indicated number. Note that bridges may not cross other bridges or go over islands.

Note that the solution is always unique.

You can get hints when stuck.

Different sizes can be played and some further properties of the puzzles may be customized.

Now there is also an expert mode where triple bridges are possible.

You may choose between two color schemes (white on black or black on white).

Whats new

    New menu / settings dialog
    Sound volume can be adjusted
Minor bug fixes (and sorry about the shameful 2012-02-28 version).

Great puzzle! Complete and stable app on top of a great puzzle. What's not to love?

Caleb Poon

Surprised! Such a simple (but not easy) and elegant puzzle. Addictive. Whilst the apps world is now filled with so much graphics and visual effects and complicated game rules, this is no doubt a good example of a good old schooled puzzle that can withstand the test of time.

A Google User

no permissions! The best Thing about this app is, that it needs not a single permission. After trying it some days I will definitely buy the Donation Version. I would like to see some statistics about solved games (per difficulty/size), maybe achievements.

A Google User

Very easy to use Very easy to use interface but challenging puzzles. Adding a timer and keeping track of average and best times would be a good addition.

Jim Blake

Doesn't work on Samsung Tab 4 The "..." control doesn't appear, probably because Tab 4 has permanent buttons. Should be updated to modern controls.

Stewart McKane

Great app Great app, fun and diverting game that's been well implemented and works perfectly :-) Only suggestion for improvement would be a link directly to the donation version inside the app. I'm uninstalling this to upgrade to the paid version to support the developer.

Stuart Bruce

Best Hashi app, by a long shot This is The One. It uses an algorithm which you can set to your desired board size & difficulty to generate the boards, so there's essentially an infinite number of boards. For free. Without ads. What more could you want? I tested it for a day and immediately bought the paid version, the developer more than deserves it.

7 STARS! Tiny code makes for huge fun. This Zen coder developed Hashi as it should be: undistracting to the player & device. This fantastic presentation of the game neither distracts one from the game itself, nor asks much of Android, processor, or memory. That's rare. In stark & embarrassing contrast to other game apps, this app politely asks for just one single permission: "will you please install & play me?" Zero side-effects (except habitual play) = a perfect cost to benefit ratio! It's simply superb. Standing ovation, man! Encore please!

Mark Mostow

Excellent implementation of good game I like Hashi, which I have played in newspapers and in another Android version. But this version is the best I've seen so far. The interface is convenient, and even the small puzzles are challenging, which is good since a large puzzle on a small phone can be awkward to play.

Violet Erdey

Love It. It is nice to see a Good App, with NO underhanded, excessive Permissions --- Just Honest Functions. Interesting Puzzle, too. Much Thanks to Developer.

Who needs any other game? Been playing this game for awhile now & I doubt I will ever get tired of it. The better I get, the harder the games get - it challenges on many levels (might even be fun to solve against the clock). Has a nice clean interface. Just bought the 'donation' version in consideration of work elegantly done.

Nelson Tewari

Awesome I had an old app but was dissapointed when I finished every level. With this I never run out of puzzles and I only need one app.

A Google User

Very addictive Love this game. A couple of suggestions, though: * Improve gesture recognition. I sometimes add a bridge accidentally, or in the wrong place because the app mis-detects my gesture. * Implement save and restore. It would really help with those tricky puzzles that require back-taking.

Peter Cunderlik

Clean, small, but needs polishing. A very nice hashi implementation -- it's small, clean and doesn't need permissions! My main problem with it was that there's no undo mechanism which makes life unnecessarily difficult. I also wish that the "hint" worked at all times (the app knows the solution so if it can't find hint it could finish an island or correct a bridge). And the last step to perfection would be disallowing bridge loops.

Best hachi in market Despite the ugly icon, it has the best, most configurable hachi algorithm of all its peers in the market making it the most challenging and addictive. Recommended!

Court Goddard

Free and unlimited Best of all hashi games. Generates new maps unlike some which require downloading or paying! Sometimes it seems to take longer generating maps than other times which to me shows the complexity of the program.

Graham Hart

The Best I'm a big fan of hashi and have tried countless hashi programs and this is easily the best. Its totally free and haven't been bothered by any ads either. Did change display to black on white tho as white on black doesn't look papery enough to me and am now fully satisfied :D will buy the donation version as soon as I can afford to as a thank you for making this. I finally have a great hashi program :D have you considered making a link-a-pix? I'd try any logic game you create.

Kristi Ngo

Best hashi app Graphics are a bit spartan but the puzzles - the only real important aspect - are perfect. Game will let you play in peace without annoyingly pointing out mistakes without being asked.

A Google User

Love this app! This is perfect. It works smoothly, and is totally worthy of a donation. Also the white on black screen makes it more easy on the eyes.

Andrew Simpson

Excellent game Not only that, but this is the only app I've ever installed with NO permissions - bravo!

Sarah Willson

Great puzzle, great app I just discovered Bridges puzzles and wanted to see if there was an app. This one is simple and customizable and works perfectly!

Katy Ball

Update Thanks for the info on how to find the menu button on the Galaxy S5, looking forward to playing my favourite game again.

John Perkins

Poor Controls Poor controls for determining which two numbers I want to draw a line between. Game keeps selecting numbers I didn't touch.

John Kraemer

Very well-designed app This is a very solid implementation of this game, with a lot of room to tweak levels to change the size or difficulty. Does not bug you with ads, and requires no permissions at all! Visually no-frills, but not at all bad to look at. The feature where you can share levels with a friend by sharing the settings and the board number is a very nice touch. If my daughter keeps playing this game I'll probably spring for the donation version.

A Google User

Great I love the simplicity this app presents for a casual time-passer 'game', without the annoying title screens and such. And I have to say, I'm completely addicted.

Roxanne Butler

Poor functionality No menu. All i get is the hashi game. No other buttons or menu button to click on for all of the bells and whistles.

A Google User

Best hashi ever! So many settings, there are heaps of puzzles for every ability. Seems to be unlimited! Great game that doesn't hog your memory or tries to invade your privacy. Must have for puzzle fanatics. Pity donation version is so expensive....??!

A Google User

Brilliant game Love that it needs no permissions and is so smooth and unobtrusive going straight onto the game, yet there are a lot of options when you do go into the settings. Very happy to buy the paid version

A Google User

Icon stays the same I'm still stuck with the old icon. Other than that, great.

Temperance Tong

errr... it is a cool game but it is not sensitive enough.

A Google User

Great game! Simple,no permissions required, almost unlimited number of puzzles. A few tweaks and it would be a perfect hachi game.

David Hastings

Excellent Hashi Implementation This Hashi app has a nice clean interface and detailed difficulty adjustments. It also generates the puzzles itself, which means there are no "level packs" to buy and you won't ever run out of puzzles.

Takkun Dono

Clean, mean and hours of fun Great game, no ads either, big plus. The larger puzzles can take an age to generate on my one x, but it's no biggie. I'd recommended this app over any other hashi based game.

Brian Jarvis

Addicting time waster I've really enjoyed this, especially the triple bridge version. Ideal game for filling those tiny moments in between.

Péter Soproni

Great logical game I love the game. The interface is simple. An easier undo (attached to the back button) and redo feature would be useful.

Burcu Kalkan

Just excellent! Great game with a great interface design. The 2 missing and most necessary features are the undo (and maybe redo too) and "keep screen on" options. I will pat for the application as soon as I find a job! Thanks for this great and addicting app!

Robert Bennett

Incredible app My only request is that night mode use higher contrast colors, such as bright red and bright green.

Frank White

4 hoping for 5 4 stars only because it does not properly save puzzle during a phone restart. Otherwise it is handsdown the best hashi app I have yet used. Zoom function very usefull on a small screen.

A Google User

Excellent and addicting puzzle, without ads or bloated permissions!

Luís Rodrigues

Great implementation of Hashi Simple design but it's all there: logic, difficulty, addictiveness. It's already a great game but as an improvement, I would add a "mark" & "undo to mark" function. I also agree with an earlier suggestion of implementing a "keep screen on" option. Kudos to Ivo Blochlinger!

Florian D

Does not work on O+2 Menu not showing up, after initial game it is stuck forever since you can not start a new one.

QiuRong Song

Used to love it, but the menu button no longer works on new phone. not even if you press and hold the multitasking window button. wish there could be an update! cant change game settings now :(

Sansiddh Jain

Fantastic App Fantastic implementation to a fantastic game. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to sit and while away time :D

Chris Friedl

Stable but poor Hard to tell on double bonds. Won't do landscape. Cant fond any menu to change settings. NOT intuitive.

Sarah Pearce

Doesn't work on new phone I used to love this game on my old phone (HTC One Mini 2) but since changing to Samsung Galaxy A3 I cannot play it as I have no menu, no way of asking for hints, resetting or asking for a new puzzle :-(

Stephen Wokes

A perfect simple game I play games on pc, mobiles and tablets. Ive played games since they began (like zx spectrum games). But I've probably spent more time on this little game than any other title I've ever played. Yep, more than skyrim, or micro machines 2. Why? Because its perfect - it just presents the pleasant logic puzzle in an elegant way with no non-sense. I play this any time I have to wait for something, as its perfect for short 5 minute games. Played it for 6 years and I still haven't tired of it. Well done!

The puzzle excellent But saddly ot seem that i can't find the menu systeme so i'm stuck with the same puzzle ? I FOUND THE MENU!!! now i can have the extreme puzzle to solve!!?

Joel Layton

Well made app, however... My phone (HTC one mini) doesn't have a built-in menu button, so I can't access the menu at all. I would love to see a workaround for this because I really like the app.

Michael Stangeland

Really liked it, but now on my new s7 there's no menu button On my new s7 there's no menu button. I've tried the two work arounds for this sort of issue but neither worked (long press multitasking button nor the "more options" in the assistant menu). This leaves me with only the most simplest game to play.

joe gonot

Great but no menu in SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 EDGE Cannot access menu since upgrading my phone to Galaxy S6 edge. Was reading that long press on back button works in some apps to get menu, but does not work for this app. Too bad, cant use it any longer.

Gabe V

Awesome puzzle app Overall, it's a great app. Just one minor irritation: after fully closing the app, the first puzzle displayed is always the same one. It would be nice if I didn't have to press New Puzzle every time I reboot (which is pretty often for me).

Robert Woodworth

No menu I love this game, but on the newer galaxy phones there is no menu button. That means no options, no reset (biggest problem for me), etc... can't change the variety ...

Selver Crombie

Finally I found you <3 I played this game years ago but forgot it's name. Ironically I was looking for a puzzle and it jumped up. I LOVE IT, there are still bugs though.

Si Dunford

Doesn't work on my tablet! I play this daily on my phone and is fine but on my tablet there is no menu. Shame because it rocks otherwise.

Joseph Graddy

Best Bridges so far I love the interface, so clean and precise. Plenty of settings too. My only suggestion is that the option for a timer would be fun, perhaps with a "fastest time" board. Thanks!

Lucas Tuttle

Great with one issue Game is great, best implementation I have tried out. However after upgrading to a new phone with no menu button, I can not get to the menu to change settings or start new levels.

Radoslav Katreniak

Great game, great options, for free and no ads. I love the level generator. I would appropriate in game purchase as donation not a separate application. So several payment values would be available. I would love to donate, but 4 euro is to much for me. If there would be 2 euro donation, I would go for it. And maybe someone else would donate more then 4 euro.
