Go - Melbourne Train Timetable

Apk file size: 2.0 MB

Train timetables don’t need to be complicated, GO lets you know when your next train is leaving.

Created in Melbourne for people who catch the train and want to simplify their commute.

GO Features:
• The latest departure and arrival times
• Swipe up to see a more detailed timetable
• Once you've added your trips the app functions without an Internet connection
• When you open the app your GPS location sets your closest saved route
• Background colour changes based upon the time remaining until the next departure

If you're not quite ready to leave, you can swipe up and see a timetable of the next few rides - both when they leave and when they arrive at your destination.

The app works offline*, yet is clever enough to update its timetables when they change. GO will even work out which trip you're likely interested in based on your current location.

Give it a try today!

[*] Adding new trips and timetable updating requires an active Internet connection. However, general use requires no mobile data connection whatsoever.

Whats new

    - Fixed a widget crash (thanks for the report) and an app crash.
    - Support for trips with multiple legs (change-overs).
    - A simple widget for your home screen.
    - Material design inspired visual improvements.

Great App with Simple interface I have been using the app for about a month and found its simple interface meets my needs, when is the next available train, at a quick glance. I think that the people who give this a low rating, don't understand its premise is to find frequently need when the next train is quickly. I have paid to get access to the Extra features.

Mark Vandersteen

Perfect for checking next train Using for about a year now. This is a great app and serves it purpose perfect. Want to check when your next train is, this is your app. Want all the extras of linking trips etc this isn't for you!! Simple purpose, great interface.

Does well within it's intent. While lacking feature wise, I think used for trips taken daily (e.g. to work or school) it's a great way to glance at the for the next, or subsequent train times. I love the design, such as the circular countdown and colour changes for sooner the departure. I'm inclined to pay for the iap, due to the lack of any nicely designed apps for Metro, but I think others might be deterred from the app's lack of features for use outside much more than trips that are already accustom.

Paul DiGregorio

Very basic. Cant handle morning trips going opposite direction of loop. Doesn't offer half the features of train trapper which is free.

James Donald

A useful app which can take off. It's a very useful and easy to use app, however I think there needs to be at least two train planners in the free version, or the price of the full version needs to be lowered. What you could also do is charge 50c as a microtransaction for every timetable a user wishes to save. I prefer it over train trapper as it this app includes vline regional services which is fantastic!

Prioress Julian

Simple but clever This app is great. In two taps/swipes I can find out when the next half dozen or so trains are running from my preferred station. It does one thing and does it very well. I hadn't realised you need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the list- this makes all the difference.

Good work! The android app works really nicely :)

FROM: Can't be current location, it should figure out closest railway stn. Limited to 1 trip makes it a bit more of a trial. The animation should be relative to the remaining time, when circle gone, times up. The current PTV app is actually quite good or Train Trapper is better. I do like how the app tells you in big font how long to go, and the next few trains if you swipe up.

Bit too simple I would not pay for the premium version based on what the free one delivers. Seems you can only put in one start station and end station? What if you want to see the reverse? What if I'm close to a station in between? Interface is nice and smooth but have to agree train trapper is still the best train app for Melbourne. (for now)

Matthew Castanelli

Cheap and still wants your dollar One saved trip, that's all you get. You can't even search. So limited then wants you to pay. Steer clear, plenty of better apps for Melbourne transport

James Rowe

Nice app Clean and simple to use. I feel like it should be slightly less than $2.50 for the premium version given its current functionality

Buzz Moody

Counterintuitive interface. Doesn't display simple timetables. Not location-aware. Wouldn't recommend over Train Trapper.

Tom Penney

Really nice interface but Train Trapper is significantly more useful

Angus moo moo

This product is good. End of commercial

Matthew Widowson

Great app for Melbournians Simple, clean, easy to use and most importantly correct. Now if Metro could only do the same with the service!

James Ward

Great app Very cool interface and really useful. Why cant all apps be this user friendly

Manish Shroff

Woudn't upgrade Nice UI and good concept. But we have train trapper which is free and provides so much more.

Annette Waters

Great Use it all thr time

Johnny Chan

Weekend and Delay times Would be great if there was train times for delays adjusted and weekend train times. Let me know if otherwise.

Liam Perry

Such a good app! This app has saved me so many times! I love that it supports VLINE, makes my commute from Ballarat to Melbourne a lot easier! I wish there was a version of this app that supported busses! :)

Nathan Bullen

Simple and fuctional! But please add which platform the train departs from

Raoul Gordon

Should get it Although you may need to pay for more timetables it is an excellent app for finding the closet train the easiest.

Afaf Nabulsi

Afaf Nabulsi Brief and great!

Pham Thi Dep

Awsome app Easy to use . Very accurate timming.

Johnny Chan

Weekend and Delay times Would be great if there was train times for delays adjusted and weekend train times. Let me know if otherwise.

Stewart Gleadow

Simple and easy Great simple interface for managing my common trips

Useful, appealing design. Perfect for daily commutes. Isn't hampered down with details, the nice looking design providing essential info at a glance. Only thing it's missing is disruption info.

Gehan Ranawana

Well designed but need more features This is a well designed app with a very simple, attractive and intuitive interface. Works well as described. However, for a paid version, is lacking some features such as service interruptions, platform number, titles for widgets. And, ideally would be better if it was possible to set a schedule when the widgets and the app itself continously updates. App and widgets always updating in the background would have an impact on battery life.

Manna Menke

Great app Would defs recommend to everyone. Very useful for anyone using train services :)

Andrew Rowsell

Occasional commuter At last a local train app that has just the information I want without all of the distractions. The interface and interaction is beautiful in its simplicity.
