Ads , Ads and more ads The amount of adverts kill it I'm deleting it for that alone , I get you need ads for income but not this many and if you get it right I'd gladly buy it for no ads but until then is gone and I can't recommend it to anyone , But let me say it is a great idea to get Em all in one place .. good try to the programmer

Slow and unresponsive The current format of this app is incredibly slow, and responds very slowly to commands. Extremely long load times even on fast Wi-Fi.

Danielle Madigan

Annoying Half the time it only loads a few stories... when it does load, it starts at the top every time you finish reading an article, so then you have to scroll all the way down to where you were again. I love reading gawker but this app is frustrating.

Crashes constantly. For whatever reason, my android's browser can't handle Gawker or its sister sites, so I downloaded this app to make it easier. Needless to say, it didn't. I finally removed it today after Jezebel crashed on me three times in a row. It sucksn, because I love Gawker et all on my PC.

Michelle Ortiz

Hard to share articles I really like gawker but the biggest problem is it's hard to share the articles ! Why is there no option to send a link via text or email?

Christine Meier

Scroll is terrible! Scroll down, jump to top, scroll down, jumps to top, scroll down, load stories, jumps to top...repeat multiple times, stop reading too dizzy.

Heather Hokamp

Always flaking out The app scrolls to the top of the article list randomly and stupid closing all the time. Uninstalling.

Michael Gallagher

Practically unusable What was once one of the best free apps on the market has been utterly obliterated over the last several "updates".

Christopher Howell

Good app Like this. All the Denton sites in one place.

T'Mir J

Battery hog Does what it is supposed to, but it uses so much battery!

nwhitley52

The buty ons are never clicked It never works right

Victoria Travers

Crashes Unable to open the app anymore, crashes instantly

Wesley Jones

Meh Glitchy as hell!!

Tiffany D

Locks up and crashes frequently. :-(

Patric Allan

Pretty bad Tried using this on both phone and tablet and it is really hard to navigate

Mike Shuman

Eh Hard to navigate and really REALLY want a Gawker application that allows me to login and post/reply to comments on the site.

Clint Wagner

Great sites turned to crap I love the sites by the app is horrible! The sites don't translate well to app form, hard yo read and navigate through phone. So frustrating! Fix this $h!t

Joe Compton

Good concept, too many problems. Text flashes constantly when page is loading, or scrolling. Videos don't always play. Back button seems to reload articles, have to press several times to get back to main page. Keep working on it, please.

Ian Seppanen

Terrible Slow, buggy, and poorly integrated. What an awful app.

Vanassa Daranikone

Sharing is difficult Right now, the only way to share articles is through the "share" option which limits your options to the usual Facebook and Twitter options. Other than that, some great reads here.

Would give 5 stars.... If it didn't zip to the top every time i went back to the main screen from an article.... it gets kind of annoying to have to scroll back down to where you were.... if that could be fixed, i'd change my rating to 5 stars in a second.... oh, and for some reason article links don't work unless my phone is turned to landscape. Anyone else with this issue?

A Google User

Much better after last update The only thing I have to complain about is that the screen flashes when looking at stories. I think because of the ads. Any chance of making a paid version without the ads?

A Google User

Gawker I have never read online print as interesting as this. The comment section is the best although you get some insensitive people with there sometime racist comments, otherwise it's a great online publication.

A Google User

Nice Good overall, wish it didn't snap back up to the top of the feed after going back from reading a story.

A Google User

Not quite there yet Great idea for an app, but the execution is still a but lacking. I have difficulty with video playback, there's the "flashing" glitch others have mentioned, and it doesn't really seem to knew what to do when I hit the Back button on my Galaxy S II (usually it just reloads the page I'm on). Again, love the idea--Gawker is one of my favorite news sources--but I wish the kinks were worked out.

A Google User

Eh... This app is kind of disappointing. I love gawker media but it seems like they got rid of their mobile site so I had to download this app. It's very slow and awkward to use. Everytime the screen rotates, the page has to reload. Also, you can't post comments!! Ugh. I miss the mobile site :(

A Google User

Pretty good 3.5 stars. Difficult to close on my Droid RM.

A Google User

Nice but no commenting? Unless I'm missing something, no way to post comments from the app. Too bad, otherwise I love it. Puts all the Gawker properties in one place.

A Google User

Pleeeease fix video play! I think I first downloaded this app in August, and the video-play problem still exists. They either don't load at all, or they'll play, but if I stop it in the middle for any reason, then try to play again, they look like they load, then end, but never actually play. This happens even if I close the app and open and try again. PLEASE, GAWKER GEEKS, FIX THIS GD PROBLEM ALREADY.

A Google User

love gawker. hate app text disappears for no reason when scrolling. buggy app

A Google User

Somewhat buggy Its nice having all the sites in one app, but longer articles tend to load slowly and large chunks of text seem to "flash" repeatedly on and off the screen for 1 to 2 seconds at a time making things difficult to read. A nice alternative to needing numerous bookmarks in your browser, though.

A Google User

Excellent All the info on everything I need to know.

A Google User

Good idea...buggy as hell Why the hell do only 5% of the videos embed properly. A few youtubes work fine and most are unclickable. Fix this!

A Google User

Very Good Just needs bookmarks and link sharing capability.

A Google User

Slow Really slow and only loads half the time

A Google User

Lame on nexus7 Crashes and is sluggish. I'm uninstalling

A Google User

News junkie I use this everyday. Great app!

A Google User

Clumsy It handles too sluggishly, and going back one page or even rotating the screen seems to require downloading the contents again.
