Works but... ... I think it would be nice to have the option to have a widget to arm and disarm. Also it would be good to have a way to activate silent arming by default instead of having to check the check box every time because the beeping freaks my dog out. Last thing I think we should have the option to require the panel's passcode to disarm in case someone steals your phone and knows where you live.

Seemless Made the purchase on the phone with professional and helpful staff. I was a little worried about setting it up when it came. It was very simple. A low level DIY person can install. Beats having to wait for a shady tech guy to come to your house late or anything. what also is great is they were able to use sensors from my old system. I don't get how people feel they need a widget. Some people say there is no app which is false. I access it very easily. Nothing to complain about so far after a few weeks

Breaks Ground in Home Security Mobile Companion Landscape This app is great! It collects all the notifications I set in my account, let's me arm and disarm, and it's geo-fence capability is best in class. Works just as well as the location capability (I know it uses a different method) for Samsung's S-Voice. I recommend this app and the Frontline service.

Frointpoint I like the ease of use, but it has been showing my front door as open since yesterday, and I can't get it to stop. Customer service suggested logging out and.back in. It didn't help. Also, keychain remote needs a "silent" button when arming.

Great but.... Notice that it takes a awhile to register that a sensor is not active. i.e the basement sensor shows active and have not been down there for over an hour. Seen the same issue for others. Is there a setting or something to fix this?

Needs time stamps Please add time stamps to the activated sensors. So if I know when a heat sensor goes off, or when a door is opened. Have that done and you get 5 stars

Extra option Nice security system. It'd be great if when the alarm goes off, it would override my phones sound settings (typically on vibrate) and set off an audible tone. This is in case someone break in at night and kills the alarm panel before I can hear it, at least my phone would wake me up in time to take action.

Please add fingerprint reader support for fast, secure logins. I'm jealous that my wife can use her iPhone's fingerprint reader to log in but I can't use my Nexus 6P's fingerprint reader to log into my app. Overall works well and is reliable for the most part. There have been times, at least in the past, where two log entries that were fairly close in time, were out of order, e.g., door open, panel armed, and then door closed. I believe in one incident, the log entry for door closed wound up never getting logged. I rushed back home and verified that my door was indeed closed. I even opened and closed and verified the subsequent open/closed log entries afterwards. This is a rare occurrence, however, and I haven't seen it in a long time. May have been fixed.

Does what it should It does exactly what it claims it will do. Makes arming and disarming easy while on the go. There are two things I really like. If you have an issue you can just text them in the chat box and they'll call you and help out with any issue you may have. They are very friendly! The other is reminders. You can set reminders for certain days and times to remind you to arm your alarm. I have it set for everyday I go to work. That way if I forgot I can arm it on the go!

Use to work The app was great then one day it just stopped connecting to my system for some reason even after the update it still doesn't work. Very disappointed because I loved having the ability to arm disarm my system from my phone and use the features I'm paying for. Hopefully someone will fix this issue soon because customer support doesn't seem to have any answers to this problem.

Used to be fine... Keep getting server connection errors and takes minutes to connect if it even does, both over data and wifi (bit of a problem when it activates after 30 seconds.) New update is a mess.

Consider a few improvements for better service. Mobile security app. Would love to be able to access a panic button or emergency alert from the phone. It might not be possible to access the main control panel in case of a fire or other emergency. Most people keep their phone at the bedside at night. The fire, police or medical emergency button would be a great feature.

Frontpoint Fronpoint sucks! They send you cheap little stick on sensors that don't line up correctly don't communicate correctly customer service just reads from a script. Very low tech equipment. Since I posted this review Frontpoint has harassed me! Numerous emails,calls & texts and now they want me to cancel my service that's how they fix unhappy customers. Look around better deals out there.

Alarm control.and sensors 1) All sensors for the alarm should be visible at all times on the mobile app. 2) The alarm should have a timed auto arm and disarm function available for commercial applications via the app and the keypad for a business with set daily hours. Would be great for parents if their children come home from school alone at a set time every day.

Customer service used to be good Frontpoint's service used to be great. Their recent "upgrade" to the qolsys panel left me unable to arm/disarm from the panel. After speaking with their cs, I was promised a call back. Never heard a thing. Also note that tons of folks here are unhappy with the recent "upgrade" and and the fact that the panel colors are no longer intuitive. Seems like a communication from Frontpoint would be in order when they completely change things up. I don't see a single acknowledgement from the company. Sad.

Color change I liked it when I could Just see status by looking at the color. Also I would like to be able to see the name of person who arms, or disarmed from cell. Currently it only show name when they use the panel.

Less intuitive than before Not sure how making everything green is simpler and clearer. At a glance, it looks like my doors are unlocked--the icons are green. Now, you have to look closer at it to see it's in fact locked. I get that FP wants to "brand" their app, but there's a reason red and green have recognition as symbols--it's easy and useful to see them at a glance. Oh, and the app automatically disabled push notifications, so good thing I checked, otherwise I'd have likely missed a few. Not a good update.

I understand your company colors are green but don't forget yellow red and green are good icon colors. You want to raise my rates and yet give me inferior products?

Why mess with a good thing? You guys messed with these colors before. Why do you keep changing them and we have some bugs with arming. What you should do is leave the app the way it was and concentrate on giving us more control panel bypass zone ability. We don't need a weather readout in an alarm app. Make the app more like the web site and more like our panel while keeping the old color scheme. A control panel from my phone would totally rock!

Good security app What I like is that the app displays, at a glance, what the status of my system is. All my sensors show up along with their status. Have not had any events that would trigger an alert, but I am pretty sure this system will let me know quickly when there is.

I dislike the newest UI Monochromatic scheme looks like I just booted into "safe mode." It looks like the setting for high contrast visibility for the visually impaired crawled into the UI. I want to lop it off at the wrist before it gets to the rest of what i loved about Frontpoint. Deadites have taken over.

It's the small things The new update takes away the common sense orange icon for arm stay and red icon arm away. This is the feature I use every day. The rest of the application is good but this is a big issue that is an easy fix. I did let customer service know via phone and email. Hope they fix this.

Marketing change not update I can see the company meets going like this -Since we can't add features and functions let's move things around and change the color and call it an update. Then we can say we are constantly updating! Customers always love free updates... look at windows. Lol. When they add features I'll be happy. Otherwise colors don't matter to me. I just purchased the system 3 days ago (2016) 1 star because it doesnt give you an opcion to arm your home with out entrydelay in the arm away mode!! Only in the inhome only. (Only doors and windows censors WITH OUT MOTION CENSORS!!) witch means they will have about 30 seconds xtra before the alarms goes off. It is pointless to have this mode if you will give 30 seconds to disarm before the alarm goes off in this app mode it should be the same in arm (stay) and arm (away) since it only gives you this option in arm (stay) and the the control panel

Awesome!!! This app is great. I actually don't use the panel at all it is so easy to do it through the app in the phone. The only thing I will suggest for Android users is to add the ability to access the app using fingerprint reader the same way the iPhone version works

The app is fine, does what it says, WHEN IT WORKS! I haven't been able to use the app in about 2 weeks. I've called, and left messages to report the problem & still nothing, no response from the company @ all! Every time I touch the app icon from my phone it continuously says,"Unfortunately frontpoint has stopped ". I had another credit card application say that all of the time...BUT IT STILL WORKS!

Concerned about reliability Tried multiple times to disarm before entering garage and kept telling me there was an error. Need a motion sensor in the garage, but if app is not reliable alarm will go off by the time I can get inside to disarm. Also sent an online question and have not received response in over 24 hours.

Owner I would of felt better if it had come with 6 (six) alarms and a camera. I felt cheated when I didn't get the deal offered on Angie's List for $199.00 which had double, a camera, glass break etc. And that it doesn't call my cell phone number first if I accidentally trip the alarm, which I've done.

Just activated yesterday Activated and logged on first time ever last night and all was well. Tried logging in today on 4G and WiFi but it said server connection error. Tried logging in right now on 4G same error. Joined WiFi and it successful logged on. Extremely Disappointed!

It decides when to work One day, I'm good with it, and then the next day it's gets all funky and decides not to work and that is really inconvenient. I couldn't login to the system to check it. For some reason I had to get off my Wi-Fi for it to work which doesn't make any sense to me because it always worked with it on. It's a very finicky system that needs an operating system upgrade or we need to go with someone completely different. Frustrated with this system for years.

Bait and Switch I bought a system in June and the app worked until this morning. Now it says I need to upgrade to use it. Thanks, but no thanks. When I bought my system, the app was standard, and I went with this company despite an upfront equipment cost bc it was going to save money in the long run (my house came with ADT and they wanted to charge me out the ass). Upgrading services or buying extra equipment I don't need is going to completely negate that, and cutting off an app that should be standard is bad business.

Older version than B4 Had to remove program and reinstall it later in same day. This version looks different and has fewer options than the one I had before. I can't silently arm system from remote location.

Needs improvement IPhone app is almost flawless. Android version needs a lot of improvement. Doesn't accept finger print reader. Doesn't connect to server consistently. Very unreliable. Yet none of these issues exist on iPhone. Please fix this app to work as good on Android as it does on iPhone.

Very impressive app. Have been using the app for several months now and have no significant issues with this app or the system. I take user ratings very seriously and spend time reading reviews and comparing past reviews with current reviews especially around update time. Months of 4 or 5 star reviews that suddenly drop to 1 or 2 stars around app update time is a serious indicator. Lack of response by Frontpoint doesn't look good. Think I'll pass on this update...

Simple and functional This app is well designed! The one idea I had off the bat as a future enhancement would be widgets. There would obviously need to be some security measures in place, seeing as how you'd have access to your home security system whenever your phone was simply unlocked. For example, what if you had a widget for enabling/disabling sensors, etc... You tap the corresponding button and quickly scan your finger print. Also, aside from making changes to your system, simple monitoring via a widget would be cool too.

Amazing Easy to use and when alarm sounds the staff calls in 30 seconds. User friendly and is great for my husband and i since we are always on the go. My favorite part is i can see what doors are open and for how long and what time.
