ABOUT THE APP:
Keeping track of what you eat has been shown to help prevent and stop over-eating.
This app helps you control your diet and eat healthier, by making it easy to track what you eat. The design is optimized to make entry as quick as possible, with 1 click entry, and recent food suggestions. The built in database already has thousands of food items and if yours are not known, adding them is easy.
1. A simple and powerful design: The app opens directly on the entry screen, on the most recent meal, because that is what you'll use most. The design makes adding entries as simple and intuitive as possible.
2. One tap entry with personalized suggestions: The most common food items can immediately be selected. Starting on the second day, your recent items are suggested because you may eat the same food frequently.
3. Logging in is not needed: No personal data or contact information is required.
4. Thousands of items already in the database: Most food items have accurate information about common serving sizes, calories, carbohydrates, protein and fat.
5. Full off-line support: No need to be connected to the internet.
6. Precise entry is also easy: You can accurately enter the precise amount using a slider.
7. Daily reports: Using the menu, you can directly open the diary, which shows a summary of your day. Here you can switch between calories, protein and carbohydrates by pressing on little triangle.
8. Personal reminders help you stay on target: They are a convenient way to make sure you fill out your diary, after each meal, or at the end of the day.
It is a good idea to verify the information in the database is the same as the information on your food packaging; food nutrition fluctuates with brands and over time.
Make sure to discuss your goals with your doctor or nutrition specialist.

No creeping I like this app because it doesn't require information to everything on my phone. Looked at other apps that practically made you give up your social security number and blood type! It's a simple interface that works. You can set when you receive notifications and it really helps
Great App, reminds you to enter items into your journal. The facility to add new food items is also welcome.
Great health app I'm a little unsure of the accuracy of some items, but its close enough and a great way to be mindful of what you consume. I would love a calories total for each meal!
Simple and easy Iove that the default quantity is what you entered last time.
works well it help you keep up with the foods that you eat but it needs many more foods and dietary a nd nutritional
Food diary Very helpful and easy to use. Love it
I wish it would include more complex foods like brand name granola bars or salads from fast food chains.
Really helpful even though I'd like a larger variety of foods.
Good at what it's supposed to do. The navigation is a bit clunky. More export options would be ideal.
Terrible preloaded options. Who is eating McDonald's and keeping a food journal?
This app is easy to use and has everything I need.
Easy except.. Wish there was a larger variety of food... And some of the Nutritional Facts you have on here arnt correct.
Loove I love how it stores the calories etc in stuff I use...
Wonderful app! I use it every day to help monitor my carb intake. Very easy to add foods.
I have a chronic illness and this helps me keep track of everything. Thanks
Good app Does what it is set out to do.does it well.
Food Diary Easy to use + versatile
Cheers Time consuming but relatively complete, though it's frustrating to not get a calorie equivalent to the strength workouts you do (only cardio is counted, all are recorded though).
Food Diary Very easy to keep records.
Very useful Easy to add foods and they are always handy to choose on the running list. The app is also super for meal planning - when shooting for a calorie and protein count, I can tinker with weights it to decide portions etc.
I wish it had more food options with nutrition information.
Not a bad app. It gets the job done, only flaw is the date gets messed up every now and than and its almost impossible to fix the problem
Food diary Good app but need more options. Need better way to see your journal. Still just need some twicking!
Its okay it xan get better..
Sugar It is a great app, but would be great if sugar could be included along with the fats, proteins etc.
It's OK Not detailed enough needs me leotard options
Simple and easy, but room for improvement It has a simple system and does exactly what I need, but I would prefer a more streamlined interface and a weight input option and possibly a way to record daily exercise time.
Love I really like this app
Very useful The only draw back to this app is that some foods are not recognized, and the nutritional info has to be entered manually for those.
Staying on track Very useful, makes it easy to keep up with my meals, and to track my cal, fat, and protein
Not user friendly Too complicated and complex shouldn't be
Gloria Wood When they don't have the item I ate I search and find it. Then it stays in my list of food for next time. I like this
Good App Great to keep the track of what you eat
Easy to use
Simple and functional I've been looking for an app like this for some time. It's so helpful to keep track of what I eat without being bombarded with brand names or having calories dominate the conversation. I left a star of because it ain't pretty and it would nice to have graphing / chart options but it is light years ahead of everything else out there, at for my needs.
No personal notes The app does not allow you to enter your own note for the day or meal.
So far so good Only been using it a few days but I like that it will remember your usuals and let you change the nutrition facts.
Decent, could be better It's a fairly decent app for keeping a simple, straightforward food journal. But it could be better. Example: the app requires entering the item's weight in grams before allowing me to continue on to calorie count. I have a French Dip sandwich at a local restaurant, how do I know? And most lookups online don't give you a sandwich's weight in grams for obvious reasons. That should be a selection of units including "whole" and "half" and "ounces". Second: include tracking for sodium.
It's gr8, I've been looking for this!! Allows me to calculate and document daily eating and nutritional values
Good, but could easily be better Very simple and intuitive. If these two functions are possible, I can't figure then out: showing the report in something other than a bar chart format; and being able to email the report, not just the daily details.
Not a fan Wanted to trial it before deciding to buy buy it won't let me so this is pointless
Good app need to take time to personalize I have been using this app for about a month now and each week it gets easier because it remembers what you have used. If you take time to create new items daily tracking comes very quick. Would also like to see a sodium tracker added
Love it! Really helps me keep track of what I am eating in a super easy way! And I love that it reminds me to do so right before bed lol
Great food diary and keeps you on track for calorie counting.
App is ok. But................................ App is ok. I would like to be able to enter food that are not available on the current list.
Note4 Finally something simple with presettable targets and foods that can be entered manually as well as foods in a database. Perfect. Thanks.
Easy App You wont feel tired of dealing with it..
Like the free version. Easy and strait to the point.
Best app for diabetic patient and to lose weight
It's a great app to track all I have eaten and it's awesome I can email my journal of what I have eaten daily
Food Diary Its good if you have a calorie dictionary to add foods to it. It is very convenient. It should be set up for us to use known measurement like 1/2 c its difficult to convert to grams.
Useful to help with weight loss but not always accurate
Great food tracker Easy to use.
Love it! But would like to be able to customise what it keeps track of. By allowing me to add my own aspects such as sugars and unsaturated fat etc then will give five stars!
Food Diary app has given me just what I needed. Thank you.
A week ago it worked well I have only had this app for a week on my galaxy s4. It worked fine when I first added it. If there wasn't info for something I just added it. Now following an update it keeps freezing and shutting down. May have to find another option now because it's almost worthless
Easy and to the point app.
Needs sodium count on popular items
Good bits and bad bits Once set up is fairly easy to use. Sadly if you're not in US then the setup is a pain because the inbuilt database of foods is entirely US based (I can see why they are so fat!). It has no raw ingredients to speak of either, but endless lists of prepackaged and tinned foods. I could find no way of editing the lists (or actually deleting the rubbish in there) so most meals I had to manually enter all the values. In the end the actual diary part did work but it was hard work to set it up.
Works nicely but needs a metric option Needs an option to put all settings metric, in the UK hardly anyone would use cups to measure a liquid, it needs to be millilitres (ml) and grams for weight. Also a lot of nutritional info is given per 100g (pretty standard for all items in the UK), but the item eaten may be 135g, it would be nice to enter the per 100g values and then select what portion size of said item you had eaten.
More snack times It would be nice if you could add more snack option times. I work with children and we have 2 snack times so it would be nice if there was an option to add in the scedual. Other wise it's exactly what I need !
It allows you to track carbs, fat, calories and protein. I would give it a 5 if it allowed me to track my sugar and sodium as well
With a weight tracking option would be perfect Very very nice and simple app, simplicity is its strenght. I love the daily reminders for remembering to insert entries in the diary. I would like to have the possibility to keep track of my weight too, a simple entry for daily weight and a chart for seeing weekly or monthly progress, as food journaling and weight control often go hand in hand. I use a second app for weight only, but if I could have it into this app, it would be 5 stars for me!
I like it because it's not complicated , it's just plain and simple .
So far a very helpful app. One week in use.
Great Easy to use and add foods... you're able to change the name and all the nutritional information for new products that you want to add
Premium version When I try to buy the premium version, nothing happens
Helpful to track what I eat.
Simple but works Pretty simple app and heaps behind the pay wall but does what i need to track food. I'm not fussed on the calorie counting do doesn't effect me.
Mr It works well and seems to have everything I need.
Good app easy to use simple to edit like the flexibility.
Fine for how I use it. I'm hypoglycemic and want to track what food I eat. I don't care about recording calories or other nutritional info, but it's been good for me to track basic food intake. This has helped keep me control meals and to look back at what I ate should my blood sugar drop. If I were to use it for calorie counting and diet control, it's not the best one I've seen. It does a decent job, but specific foods are locked like you have to pay for them. Also, the measurement slides don't work all the time.
Great app It meets all my requirements
Eat it up! This is exactly what my nutritionist wanted me to have. It's easy to use and yet powerful enough for my needs. Thanks guys!
Food Diary Love this app. Meets all my needs. Simple to use.
Excellent!!!!! Luv the reminder to fill in journal, add what I use specifically....a breeze to use...best app!!!!
Quick accurate way to keep track Would like to see a way to save the custom entries I've created. It took hours to get all of the data in there. Hope I don't lose it when the inevitable upgrade comes. The ability to email an Excel spreadsheet to myself and my doctors is very useful.
Good and frustrating Its a good basic app. Doesn't have all the information it should.
I use it everyday I use this every day, I love it and it helps me choose how much I'm going to workout. It also helps me eat healthier because I know I'm going to be entering it into the journal.
Nice and easy
Tells me what I need to know. Is easy to use, learns my habits as I go. So this app gets better with age
Note4 Finally something simple with presettable targets and foods that can be entered manually as well as foods in a database. Perfect. Thanks.
Ok This does not adjust when serv size is changed. Not alot ov food in free version
I like it but sometimes it does not calculate all of the entries.
I wanted to keep a food diary in order to keep track of my coeliac disease but you can only select items out of a list of foods and most of them are locked unless you buy the app, you can't just type in your own foods. Instantly uninstalled.
It would be very helpful to be able to add notes to the daily journal, to the meal, and to each food item in the database. This would help facilitate the management of one's diet. With a note attached to a food item, one could be reminded of the impact that item had on the diet. I'm new to this (2nd day) and see great benefit in learning to manage a diet that will help me keep ulcerative colitis under control. Thank you!
Straight forward I like this app. Very straightforward and easy to use. I do think adding a "notes" option to the journal would be great.
Exactly what I wanted Some suggestions I have would be to have a place for notes in the journal section. I'd like to track exercise or other activities. With the email, I'd like to be able to send the report for like a month, the ability to send a monthly chart. I enjoy being able to add my own foods if they're not in the dictionary, I can add my own nutritional facts found on food labels. Those complaining about not being able to do on the free app, you get what you pay for. It's Worth buying for sure.
Great app and so useful I love this app. It is amazing and so easy to use. Recommended for anyone who is monitoring their food intake or consumption
more bugs everyday. was good but now is crap. don't waste your time until this is fixed
Seems fine. I don't know why everyone is whining. Very simple userface, why shouldn't you pay for something especially if it works. The free version lets you try it out to see if it will work for you. It's like test driving a car. Somebody obviously worked hard to make this, so why should you get it for free?
Too many bugs I'm still using it, but it's becoming increasingly frustrating. It loses calorie values all the time. The journal sometimes doesn't match the values in the actual record. Too many of the foods are grayed out and can only be used if you pay - and I'm not going to be using an app this buggy and unreliable.
Ridiculous restrictions I have to pay just to add certain foods? How incredibly stupid and pointless.
Need to open new features In order to having to include more variety of food you have to pay extra
Doesn't work It don't let u see the calories unless u buy it so all u do is add your food no nutrition facts with it
Bailey worth using Did not function properly. Has lots of glitches, should not have paid for it. I want my money back.
Good app although the foods are USA based so a lot of English dishes are nowhere to be seen
great great app easy to use, the graphs and targets are really useful
Keeping it simple It is easy to use and even though you may need to purchase some foods, it is easy to work with. I do wish it had an exercise tracker as well and maybe a notation section to jot down feelngs and notes about the day. Otherwise, I like it.
Usable but not great Lots of locked and/or redundant foods. I can't figure out how to edit yesterday's foods. But it is nice to be able to add in new foods. I am only using it to track what I eat (I have ibd, so a food journal is strongly advised), so I actually wish there were a way to turn calorie logging off (unnecessary details).
Works for what I need it for... The App does what I want it to in calculating calories and Macros, and I like the simplicity in it... IMO, a few thing could be changed. 1- Possibly an option to set macros at a certain percentage (off of total calories) instead of calculating the macro wieght . 2- a couple of saved user settings so I can swap from a normal diet day to Refeed day (and also remember all input/recent foods for all meals) ... 3- the App is user friendly for the most part, even though it is buggy at times...
Simple, effective Good options are thorough. I love bring able to input my own foods. Perfect for me.
Needs more non diet foods. I use this app to remind myself to eat. I eat whatever i feel like, and that is often a big plate of pasta (many more ounces than recommended). I do a very physical job, and often do not have time between shifts for a meal. Reminder that you have more than one type of client.
Strong food tracking tool A great app for tracking what you're eating and the nutrients you are receiving. Probably not as good for dieting but I specifically use this to make sure I'm getting enough protien.
It's simple to use. Love it
Decent, reasonable, convenient Not a steep learning curve, decent
I love this app Very helpful, with my eating plan
Love it Love the simplicity. Easy to input my own foods. Tech support was awesome when I had a problem.
Not bad I can't get to delete anything pls fix that! Also to much food is not on the for free list
Free app fulfills it's purpose I needed something simple to hold a list of what I eat each day. It's nice that it'll count calories and give me an estimate of my fat, carb and calorie ratio per day. Wish I could go back and add to previous days without having to upgrade.
It's ok Useful but should have more options
Great! Love this app, keeps me on track with my bad and good eating habits!
There is no way to back up you journal.
Good app. Easy to use Helpfull to keep track of daily food consumption
Easy to use, many foods already loaded and options for adding home made items. The list is in a seemingly random order which would be easier if alphabetical (except for prev days items). Would also love an area for daily notes.
Food log Simple and easy to use
Food diary Easy to use. I love the reminder I get to complete diary each day. Find it a very useful app as part of my weightloss plan
Update ruined it do not get
Good limited app okay what I like and don't like about this app regardless of the times you said to eat meals once that time is past you can never go back and say oh yeah I forgot I had a slice of cake with dinner it's really pretty stupid that you can't keep an accurate record once the time is fast I'm trying to enter Breakfast at 10:30 in the morning and it enters it as my lunch I'm going to look for a better and I'm sorry that I'm sorry to give you a bad review but this thing is aggravating.
Fantastic App. Definitely upgrading!!!! I'm trying put on serious muscle and this allows me to make sure I am consuming enough protein, carbs, and healthy fats that my body needs.
What a helper Easy, convenient and accurate well worth it
Great It gives you all the calories and amounts but sometimes the calories aren't the right amount. Lots of choice, but some foods are locked in the app so you can't select them
Great. I just don't get why there's locked foods. But although there's locked foods there's plenty of alternative options that go along with what I ate.
Interesting facts Simple and easy to use. Like how it keeps track of your daily totals and let's you know if you are over or under your goals as well as the daily reminder to journal your meals.
Works good. The calorie and etc values all seem quite off, but user submitted is great. Wish there was a display to show you budgets for macros instead of just the bar graph.
Too much locked behind a paywall
Love this app
Ads ruin everything. Therefore ill just write down my logs.
Great app! I like that you can add foods that are not on the list or combine your meal with the ingridients in the list. And also the option to buy in order to have all variations of food. It's also convinient to use.
Great app !!!! So easy to use basic but no ads and customisable! If I still like it as much in a week I'll purchase it my first app so it's proof it's good because I've yet to be persuaded that something is worth buying! A first!
It is a nice app. I love it but I think I subscribed to it twice by accident? I unsubscribed from one..so I will see what happens.
Awesome and simple I really love this app! I like that I can adjust weights and portion size. I especially like that I can adjust Carbs to reflect Net instead of total. I find this very simple to use. Great job!
Keep it simple Simple and fast macro tracking app, fix some bugs please
Fab little app! Quick and easy to use - exactly what's needed
Very useful I like that it helps counting the calories..very good
