Keeping track of what you eat has been shown to help prevent and stop over-eating.
This app helps you control your diet and eat healthier, by making it easy to track what you eat. The design is optimized to make entry as quick as possible, with 1 click entry, and recent food suggestions. The built in database already has thousands of food items and if yours are not known, adding them is easy.
1. A simple and powerful design: The app opens directly on the entry screen, on the most recent meal, because that is what you'll use most. The design makes adding entries as simple and intuitive as possible.
2. One tap entry with personalized suggestions: The most common food items can immediately be selected. Starting on the second day, your recent items are suggested because you may eat the same food frequently.
3. Logging in is not needed: No personal data or contact information is required.
4. Thousands of items already in the database: Most food items have accurate information about common serving sizes, calories, carbohydrates, protein and fat.
5. Full off-line support: No need to be connected to the internet.
6. Precise entry is also easy: You can accurately enter the precise amount using a slider.
7. Daily reports: Using the menu, you can directly open the diary, which shows a summary of your day. Here you can switch between calories, protein and carbohydrates by pressing on little triangle.
8. Personal reminders help you stay on target: They are a convenient way to make sure you fill out your diary, after each meal, or at the end of the day.
It is a good idea to verify the information in the database is the same as the information on your food packaging; food nutrition fluctuates with brands and over time.

Functions well, let down by data base The layout and functioning of the apps is great, works well. It's let down by the data base. It's centred on the US and so loses it's value here in the UK.

Was curious about other apps similar to this one and they didn't perform as well as this app With this app you can add notes. And the note shows while scrolling through the journal. All the info shows while scrolling through the journal without having to constantly open and close the app. What was eaten, how much was eaten, the time, the date, notes for that meal. Hit the calories or which ever nutrition your interested in and it show how many of that nutrition was consumed for that day and the individual meals. Caring for a special needs child and this app I found to be the best for Dr's and me.
Good App It's a nice app, I like how things are organized. The set up is nice and simple and doesn't make things to complicated. The one downfall is how limited the free version is. I don't think it's worth it to pay but I also don't like how a lot of the food information is only accessible through the payed for app.

Just downloaded-Looks great--Can I add my custom smoothie? I'd like to add my custom smoothie including ingredients to get whole nutrients list. Is this possible?
Data & units fail I bought the premium version. So the days includes "Starbucks Flat White". It wants me to say how many grams of this I consumed. :-/ Then, I go to enter an ounce of Mozzarella. I don't mind converting that -- 28 grams -- but then it tells me 270 Calories, and huge amounts of fat and protein. I had suspicions about the data before, but this was the most egregious. I was loving this app, but now I'm deleting it as no longer helpful to me.

Works pretty good. Would like to be able to add to the database by downloading from a restaurants nutrition guide or manually before a meal while I have extra time on my hands. A tutorial on how to use the app and on weights and measurements would help.
Great App! Easy to use. Allows you to see how many carbs, calories, or how much protein you've consumed with the push of a button. This is the fourth app I've tried, and this one is a keeper.
Need grams converted to ounces, so much easier to calculate ounces
Food diary Very clunky off line but has the features i need. It adjusts calories for all entries of a food. I would like to see a weight and exercise tracker.
Add more The option of changing the number of meals is required
Shame that it isn't possible to do this cloud based and read on other devices
Taking notes Calories help you control your program, it would be great to have questions like do you exercise, do you drink water or something, and don't have to use different apps for all the parameters

The best I absolutely love this app
Free isn't worth it In the few hours I had this app I entered in foods from the previous day to which some foods you couldn't enter in because they were locked until you purchase the app, yet there are still banner ads. It also calculated over 3000 calories for one cup of cottage cheese. No thanks.
Great for new dieters I love the pro feature of being able to email my daily journal. The developers are quick to answer your questions about issues with the software.
Doesn't work Does not keep track of preferences, slow to update with new neal information, time tracking is wonky. I have a hard time believing the high rating is real (companies can buy high ratings, you know....). Portion sizing is not intuitive, and is not applicable for some food items. Adding in a new food item is just stupid. Just use my fitness pal.
1 tsp = 100 g? Mayo, 1 tsp... You think that's 100 grams? Further, the app is buggy. Add an item to the Lunch list, and the list isn't updated immediately; must close and reopen the app. Uninstalled.
Uninstall Should have options to add, name/rename meals. Not all of us eat strictly breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. Needs more flexibility than that. Where to add beverages? I have food allergies, some of which I haven't identified yet. I need a food diary to help me suss that out. I guess this one is not it.

This app is headed in the right direction. The person making this app listens and acts on comments and suggestions.
Simple and effective I was looking for something to just keep a basic food diary. This is perfect, and it looks like it has good options if I decide I want to track calories, etc... I don't know why the other review says you can't go back more than a week, because you obviously can.
Very basic but i like it that way. It does crash and it doesn.t represent the values correctly, plus a huge paywall. Still it works enough for 4 stars.(edit: lost another star cause it asks me to review cobstantly even after I did so) (and lost another star because it freezes every time I add an item after the new patch)

Fantastic app with great support. I'm on a strict ketogenic diet and this app is invaluable for easily tracking my macros. I don't pay for many apps, but I paid for this one. Love the simple graphs to compare days. There was a slight glitch with the app, I reported it to the developer and it was fixed within hours! Amazing!
Nice but I gave 3 stars only because it is not really free i have to pay to get more food in the list but when it worked it helped me tracking what im eating
Just installed still learning how to use. I would really like to see more then one snack category sence I should be eating 5 to 6 times a day. And would be nice if after you enter a meal it gives you a total calorie intake count.

Basic and very easy to use Needed something where i can quickly log my intake and gain a simple but full overview of what I've been eating. This is a great app and most items are ready to pick. You can easily add your own foods as well to store in the database.
Super awesome All the other apps like this made it to where it only counted calories or carbs but in this one it's cool because you can set your own goals that don't have to include calories and carbs and it counts not only that but all the nutritional values of stuff, so I really like it a lot more than all the other ones that I tried it's super easy to use and it gives you reminders when you want them too so I love that as well. It also has tons of already put in information for food u wouldnt think theyd have
Get w the times Itd be nice if we could scan our labels like fitness pal. Instead of inputing the info for new products.
3 Days Every day, it changes my calories so I can't even track properly! Deleting and going to My Fitness Pal.
It's a good app the only thing that bugs me is that it notifies me to up date it all the time
Easy to use I like this app becasue it's very easy to use and has allot of food stored already. However I would have given this app a 5 if there was a way to track your eating by weeks and months. Also what about printing the reports?

Great app but... I would give it 5 stars but some items sometimes lose their saved weights and so their calories don't show up in your totals.
Keeps loosing data, offers in app purchases for simple, common database entries.
Fake Doesn't have all foods so it's not worth your while.
Delete Items There seems to be no way to delete items that were added incorrectly?
Cottage Cheese messed up Shows fat content greater than serving size, among other things. Clearly a bug. I wonder how many more there are?
Great app.. has everything I need without being too complicated. The only thing that would make it perfect as an exercise or calories burned option.
Simply perfect This I believe exactly what it is supposed to. Given the user lots of choices for foods and drinks. And the ability to count calories track meals and really make improvements on their daily nutrition. App opens quickly selections are very easy to read, and I wholeheartedly recommend this app.

Great simple food diary Simple, very user friendly. And it even sends me alerts to add what I ate-love that feature! Easy way to see your track for the day, highly recommend
Needs improving Overall good value...particularly it is cheaper for the yearly subscription. However, the app needs to interpret results for specific reasons such as carb counting. Also, more food variety is needed for different cultural foods. I would recommend it for anyone to give it a try.

Needs To Fix Glitches App worked fine for two days, now pages don't load properly and previous days mix with current. Screen freezes. It's a pain and not helpful enough to keep app it this continues.

Straightforward App I liked this app. It is pretty intuitive and allows you to track protein intake, carbs, fat, and calories per day. I'm not trying to lose weight, but trying to follow a nutrition plan. This has been helpful.
Great app Great app. Free version is a bit more cumbersome but still does a great job.
Food Diary It's not difficult adding nutrition info for foods locked or not listed. It would be perfect if there was a place to track weight in order to correlate it with calorie or carb intake.

Not helpful I am an Indian so I eat mostly Indian food, which the app mostly doesn't recognise. And how am I supposed to know how much grams I ate and how much calories there are in it? It's asking me! Isn't it supposed to tell ME how much calories I ate? Most of the food is locked. First bring it to international standards then make everything actually free.
Immediately uninstalled because the flashing ads at the top of the program are way too distracting...i can handle ads, but not the flashing!!

Food diary Simple to use no signing up to social media just what I need.
It ok I'm not good at portion sizing and it doesn't help much as it always says 100 grams. I don't know what 100 grams looks or feels like so it's very difficult for me judge how much of 1 thing. But it is a great and easy way for me to list what I've eaten in one day so I can transfer it to my Dr's reccomended food journal.

Good nutrition counter very good app, keeps track of your meals and help you keeping calories under control. Good choice of foods and quite good nutrition values, also in the free version. I'll buy the complete app for sure

Love it! Easy to use, it has everything that is important for a food journal. I use this app to track my son's food intake. It helps me make sure that my son consumes enough calories each day. Thumps up !
Good but... Would be great, but in the pro version I'm missing essential nutrients (vitamins, omega 3 etc). Food database sometimes painfully inaccurate. 100g 4300 calories, really? Data export into an excel spreadsheet pls. One hint: you can add exercise by adding a new food item with a negative value. For example, exercise cal -250.
Very versatile Easy to add new foods. Easy to change quantities. Easy to go back to previous days if you've forgotten to track. Can plan in advance today's food, but can't add further into the future. Doesn't work without an internet connection.
New Subscriber I've only had this app for a few days now, but I like it. It's helping me to keep account of what I'm taking in, and what I need to make changes in.
Excellent simple app to keep track of diet I found this app easy to use and simple. There's a little bit of getting used to for listing food items, but it is really easy to use and keep track of your diet. It is also quite light on resources and I don't have to sign into anything.
Food Diary is not able to go back to previous days So if you forget to enter Dinner, you are SOL after midnight. You can't go back to see what you ate.
Need some way to edit if you make a mistake
