A night out or holidays with your friends. Chipping in for a big gift. Buying groceries for your room mates. There’s always the same question: Who’s gonna pay what and how much? Split your group expenses the fair and easy way …

These FairSplit functions help you to settle debts among your friends:

(•) Create a group: Who’s participating in paying? Invite group members from your address book or via email. Or add a “virtual” group member.

(•) Who’s paying what? Using the FairSplit app or fairsplit.sparkasse.at, all group members can enter their expenses for the group and who should contribute to them.

(•) Get even: The fair split of all expensens will be calculated by closing your group and settling it: All group members will know immediately how much they will have to pay, who’s owing how much and who’s getting cash back.

(•) Account data: Accelerate the fair split by deposing your banking details (IBAN) and sharing them via QR code with your friends.

(•) Combined with George or the netbanking app by Erste Bank and Sparkassen you can settle the expenses even faster, using „Scan & Pay“ for payments with QR Codes.

Please notice: In order to use the FairSplit app no bank account with Erste Bank or Sparkassen is needed.

Enjoy FairSplit and have fun with your friends!

It does the trick It works pretty well. Sadly it doesn't work when you invite others to a group. Authentication with slow connection won't work.

Unfortunately the app forgets my Google+ login. This means that it also requires internet access each time I want to use it which isn't great during holidays.
