Waste of $200k City gov't; use Transittimes...10x better Use Transittimes+ or the free ad supported version ( don't worry no pop ups), and it's far better. It downloads OFFLINE TIME TABLES, which ETS Live to go DOES NOT... If you lose your connection at all the app can't give you info about the time tables as a default, which is of use even when lacking live position information. Position information is a hell of a lot better in Transittimes than this half backed app-not to mention very intuitive.

Needs work This seems to be a beta version. Needs a trip planner . Needs the ability to track the bus you are waiting for on GPS. Pay by app would be nice option as long as its quick nothing worse then making everyone wait for you to pay. When looking at a certain bus route there should be an option to see it on the map and zoom in to see individual bus stops. Needs work. And if you paid 200k for what you got now as some people say then you have been swindled. What you have so far is 15k tops.

Has potential... It's pretty bad. I had a hard time figuring out what the functionality of this app was. The app is slow at times or it will give me an error and quit. ETS had a really good opportunity to integrate this info with something easy to use like Google Maps and provide lots of functionality/features for mobile users. ETS really dropped the ball on this one. It's a waste of taxpayer money at best.

Michael Ryan

An opportunity missed.. Having used this app twice, I will not be using it again. Seems to me that the ETS Trip Planner To Go would have been a good place to have started or to be integrated with, but this is not the case. Hard to believe that the 4 or 5 star reviews were objectively rated by actual users who are not a part of the Dev. Team or another party with a vested interest. As has been echoed by other disappointed users, this app leaves so much to be desired and could be so much more, if the Architects used public transit.

Silvio Filice

Great potential I use both The Transit App and TransitTimes+ primarily, you guys should make your real-time info available to them... This app is handy however for real time routes EDIT: I have no idea why all busses on the real-time portion of this app are blue, quite confusing coming from the website where a blue icon means a bus is late, my bus was right on time and the app even was showing it a minute early...

Martina Best

Ok app This app is missing the trip planning functionality which I use most often on the ETS website. I really don't care about route schedules or bus stops unless it's specifically tied into the trip I need to take.

Jeff Kang

View map -> Loading routes. Stop zooming in. Remember my zoom settings. Where's the Trip Planner? Is there a subreddit or Google plus community to leave feedback? Make it more like the TransitTimes app. Thanks. View map -> Loading routes. Stop zooming in. Remember my zoom settings. Where's the Trip Planner? Noel Pangan

It's ok It should have a notification board, like for when the trains are down, etc. A trip planner would be great as well.

Brian Markley

Fantastic app Best ets app for looking up bus stop info. Its not a trip planner. For that use Google maps. This app is for checking when the bus will come, live data from the GPS busses, route information, and seeing what busses will show up at a specific stop, and when. Its a lot like the ets-stops app but with more functionality and more polished.

Justin McKinney

Not intuitive enough.... This app has a lot of potential, however it is just not intuitive enough. It is hard to navigate, the look and feel of it is mediocre. There are confusing aspect to it such as the hamburger menu in the top right hand corner of the screen that takes you back to the home screen. Why not just put the home icon there instead? I understand that this just came out, needs some work though, look forward to the updates. Also, can you make it less blocky?

Andrew Mischuk

It's New, needs to improve The apps pretty new and I'm glad it exists but I think it could definitely improve in a lot of ways.

Jeremy Payne

Works great. People expect too much. I can save my stops and it shows me when the next bus is coming. Better than texting ets with the stop number!

Victor Zhao

Lacking. It gets the job done, but it is very very lacking compared to other apps. There needs to be an option to download an offline copy of the route schedule. The only reason I'd keep this installed would be to track real time smart bus routes.

Chantelle Clark

I Love It!!!! Must Have!! I love it. It helps you to know when your next bus is going to come. You can type the bus stop number when your at home. Best thing the city has ever done!!!!!!!!!! Get it ets users!!!!!!!!!!

Cass Bredeson

Doesn't work Can't even open it on my phone.

Hamish Buchan

Realtime updates My route is one of the routes with buses that get realtime updates. Works great!

Christina Seal

Still has a long way to go... I downloaded this as a result of one of the bus marketing banners. The design team creating those ads does not seem to be the same team creating the app, as the UI is substandard in the market. The only reason this app provides value above what I can access via Google Maps is the live tracking feature, but this is unavailable on most nearby routes. Therefore, to me, it is a redundant, poorly designed app that is not supported by current infrastructure and (in my opinion) is not ready for public consumption.

Delyle Polet

Does what I need it to do The live updates of departure times is exactly what I need, and is pretty reliable. I like the ability to save stops that I use often. I use this app every day

Harinder Singh

Waste of tax dollars. Not useful at all. There are other apps much better than this.

Ahmed Khatib

Useless For the last 3 weeks, every time I search nearby stops get an error. Useless app just like Edmonton transit, you don't expect much...

MNG

Keeps crashing on phone! Works fine on tablet. Never has been able to start it on Samsung G.S. Had to delete it from there.

Gina Gador

Helpful ...only for those familiar with ETS system to find bus stop locations and info.

Chris Banfield

works but needs major WORK What's going on here the year is 2015 this reminds of something out of the 90s . The technology is out there. USE IT!!!!!!!

Chris C

Buggy, poor usability and functionality Tried to find a bus stop down the street. The search function didn't return any results, and also caused all of the menus and buttons (including the back button) to stop responding, forcing me to reset the app. Not ready for public release; it clearly hasn't been tested.

James Neufeld

Tells you when your bus is coming Saves your bus stops and allows you to check when your bus is coming.

Matt W

Why Why wouldn't you have route maps. Why wouldn't you have the trip planner. Why have this app. All it does is tell you stop schedules. Not very useful.

Chris Olsen

P0S If the goal of this app was to blow 200k of tax payers dollars, you nailed it.

Arnil Apal

Ets live to go Very useful!

Moiz Adamji

A good first start It's not pretty but functional and to the point. Please implement a trip planner in a future update

Daniel Stevens

CONFUSING.. After about 20 minutes of messing around with the convoluted interface I just gave up. There are much better choices in the play store.

Craig Lee

Meh Disappointing. Where's the live part?

Jamal Martells

Garbage Won't even open. Update the app.

rick Learner

typical mostly looks like a bunch of updated pdf docs for the routes. not even close to what Google maps can do. trust a bureaucracy to waste money trying to reinvent the wheel and doing a poor job of it at that.

Christos Michos

Looks great easy to use

fliex hex

sucks keeps on crashing

Ryan Martin

Brutal Pretty awful.

Guillermo L

Fail Needs a feedback.

B Johnson

Wake up city of Edmonton ETS officials! This app is a waste of space on my phone. What's the point if there is no trip planner? This is being uninstalled add soon as I rate it.

Duane Bauer

Expected a trip planner Having trouble with website and thought this would solve my problem. After downloading realized it did not provide a trip planner choice.

shakera mairs

Needs improvement The app should have a replica of the website where you go and type in your destination or address and it gives you the recommended routes and bus options. Having just the bus stop and route schedule isn't sufficient enough.

Nurann Amruniel

Needs work, just shy of completely useless Suggested improvement for your app: tie in the GPS and route schedules to an app notification so that if a bus is more than 10 minutes late, the app generates an alert to the customer's device. Having just missed 3 overly delayed busses today on the same route number because of the way you drop them off the display after a certain time has been extremely frustrating!

Jason Wetsch

ETS Sucks! The app doesn't work. Half the time it says estimated time is N/A. Audit shows buses are actually 5to10 minutes early 50 percent of the time causing people to miss the bus.

Kiralema A

Useless app Hoped for a public transit trip planner. The app only provides bus/LRT schedules. Uninstalling.

Doris Sohn

Doesn't work on One Plus Two Previously used this on my One Plus One; worked without issue. Now that I have a One Plus Two, it will not show available stops or plan routes. Using Oxygen 2.1.1. (Android 5.1.1.).

Victor Zhao

Lacking. It gets the job done, but it is very very lacking compared to other apps. There needs to be an option to download an offline copy of the route schedule. The only reason I'd keep this installed would be to track real time smart bus routes. It also needs to have the ability to nickname bus stops as it's difficult to remember every single bus stop location precisely.

David Roseke

Effective In a couple clicks, it let me choose a nearby bus stop and told me when the buses were coming according to the schedule. Perfect for this purpose. Data required.

Luke W.

Waste of our $$$ The Trip Planner to Go website is better although it doesn't have the live tracking.

Allan Spate

Where is the live bus tracker? This app is absolutely useless to anyone unfamiliar with the edmonton transit system.

William Veleña

Poor Everyday the bus are late.....evereyday..

Chris Banfield

needs major WORK Needs a Trip Planer What's going on here theyear is 2015 this reminds of something out of the 90s . The technology is out there. USE IT!!!!!!!

Victor Zhao

Needs Android N support; stop nicknames Library compatibility issues with Android N. There needs to be an option to download an offline copy of the route schedule. Only advantage over other apps is the ability to track real time smart bus routes. It also needs to have the ability to nickname bus stops as it's difficult to remember every single bus stop location precisely.

Dales Elevators

Convenient The smart bus technology is very good and handy. Just need to add a feature to watch the bus location update automatically.

Scott Harris

Not useful The app is not very user friendly. Manually search of address does not work very well. MonTransit app is a better choice.

Kim Xiuminnie

Needs trip planner Not very useful to me. Would be better if there was a trip planner like the website, and gps tracking for buses.

Lisa Bourgeault

Bad accuracy I got this app so I would be on time and know when the buses would be coming or if they'd be late but it's so inaccurate and still messes up my commute schedule! And when you go to mention it to ETS they don't reply. Such a bad and sad company. I do NOT recommend this app or ETS

beth vdb

There is nothing LIVE about this. This would be great if the information was actually live and not just a repeat of the website. If I wanted a list of the times a bus is supposed to come at I would just go to the website. What I want is the ability to see if a bus is on time or delayed. I want to see what Google maps shows (but with more accuracy). I can't believe you spent money on this junk

Lobo Junior

Omg if you don't know the exact address, your screwed Until they fix this, it only works of you know what exact points you want. You can't see the entire schedule. You can't see alternate routes. I really hope this isn't the final version... Wow. Un-installed.

Ashley S

Disappointment Was expecting trip planner. This app is useless. I will continue using the online trip planner instead.

Ravena Zorven

Ets to go Gives up to date info and trip planning for the city of Edmontons transit system.

Murray Beckett

Useless I was hoping it would provide route info, like a route planning tool.

Kek City

App is garbage Glitchy and no ability to actually view live GPS lines.

Randy Nonay

Loved it but doesn't work on mm Worked great and reliably until I upgraded to marshmallow. Now it no loger even starts... I switched to Transittimes app.
