What's the difference between this n regular engadget app?? Fonts r not adjustable to improve readability, Videos do not play landscape even after selected in the 'About' settings, low level bug Note3 N9005

Andrew Lindgren

Once you can bookmark what you want to read later, and can comment on the updates from that particular poster I'll give it a five star rate. But until that happens I'm going to stick with a hard for stars. Congratulations on developing an app that's not stupid as Hell like 6 out of 7 are!

Paul Curry

Only just adequate What have Engadget done? The old full app worked well, now it crashes constantly. So I installed this mini app which is clunky and slow. Sad :-(

Geoff Choy

Better than main app Better UI, slightly more responsive. Comment system still is slow and still sucks. Options like night mode and smaller 'cards' would alleviate some of the nightmares that plague Engadget.

Hans T.W.

Help! What has happened? Everything is just 9gag now!!

Jonathan Fisher

The feed is just full of 9gag posts now.

Chris Bielecki

Only giving me 9gag news not engadget

Muntasir Ebne Mobin

Worst app ever I cannt access to the app database

Richard Krahl

Poor Journalism Being a long time Engadget fan this app was poorly done with bad journalism. Bad tweets and trying to be funny at a place where technology should be the forefront. I'll stick to good journalism on your real app, not a Twitter knockoff.

Paul Lund

Really effective new application. I find this preferable to the main Engadget App! Better use of screen space & easy to use. I feel sure it will be refined and improved, but this is already quite effective.

Andrew LD

Needs minor improvements Engadget Mini is pretty good and has a nice combined feed. However, the pull-out "hamburger" menu is unnecessary as the about menu is also in the overflow button. Additionally, the built-in browser should be either improved or removed so all links open in the default browser.

Derin Zerr

Half the posts are pointless sarcasm Trying to be a comical Twitter feed rather than news. Downloaded for relevant news and half of what shows up are people trying to be funny. I want news, not jokes about BeOS, Zenith, and CRTs. If you're a dedicated micro news feed, please leave out the fluff.

James Vincent

Love it This app is fab. Not sure why this was launched when we have the other engadget app. But that app started Force Closing after the latest app update back early last month.

Muhammad Awais

Nice app I am fond of this mini app. Now gonna install the big one. One recomendation. Please write few lines on working of gadgets. Cheers!

Jason Gregory

Small and light Both the app and the content. Perfect for a fast moving stream. Only gripe is no easy "click to top" like for example the official Twitter app, click home and go to top. Takes long to scroll.

Aaron Moner

Fantastic! This app updates me on exactly what I want know and is quick at loading information.

Nathan Snyder

Beautiful Very nice ui and well thought out, but I don't understand why the slide out menu only has 2 options. That menu seems unnecessary right now.

Grammaton Feather

A pile of [email protected]/t Seem to be a random mix of video display services they use rather than posting vids in YouTube Format which works. The videos either don't play correctly or ask to open a browser. No auto rotation either. Uninstalled.

Kevin Canada

Want to like it I like the feed (even if I don't get all of the inside jokes). But why do I have to tap twice to get to a full article or video? Also, even though I looked at it for less than 2min today, kept my phone awake for 8 hours! Thank goodness for my Droid MAXX. Also, the blue "new content" button often crashes the app. Will change review when fixes are made.

Bill Hall

Great interface... but the content is useless drivel.

Alex Perrin

Too slow to actually read an article Moving in the right direction from Engaget app. Much better UI. Cleaner looking and more "androidy"(card UI). But not enough customization(I want to be able to customize feed)It takes two steps and a slow load screen to actually read an article. I assumed this app showed up to replace Engadget app which has been showing its age foe over a year now but maybe it's not. All in all. It needs work.

Erik Birkholz

Love the idea and interface But its pretty annoying to have to tap a story twice to read it and then press back twice more to get back to the feed. Scrolling is jittery. The flip animation is also jittery and seems unnecessary. I wish I could tap a headline to read the full story and have the sharing options from there. Why would I want to share before reading it?

Shiraz Shaikh

Brilliant! The look and style of the app is very well designed and very smooth. The main app should be like this.

Daniel Wee

Nice simple for a quick glance If you could make an auto jump to top button or going to the top by pressing the top bar that would be great. At the moment after scrolling all the way down I have to scroll all to the way up. The other way so to exit the app.

john brown

Bit strange but OK I think ! . only problem is you need to go through loads of info just for a card that you might need info on .

Wayne Schulz

Way too slow to update The refresh on this app is unbearable. Better news alternatives exist.

Jheymyah Willis

Jheymyah Rosalind Willis I love the game but I didn't try it yet so I seen your comments all

Thomas Norman

Nice Very nice guys. Now please for the love of god make the main app like this!!

Spencer Dixon

Excited for the future With a couple updates this app will be better than the original, full Engadget app.

Trey G

Who cares about your life.. give me news All I see are posts from some guy.. like its his personal Twitter. Showing pictures of him checking his mail and dumb cups of him walking around. Journalism in this app sucks its so disappointing because it could be tons better if it were actually informative. I want tech news not a play by play of someone whom doesn't matter a bit to me. Trash

David Clark

Good idea! Having a dedicated app vs something like Feedly hadn't been relevant in a long time. This is cool though.

Ramee Hamad

Not so mini The app is awesome. You get Engadget 's Twitter feed included which gives you more tech talk throughout the day. Also the way the feed displays is amazing compared to the normal app.

Adeiza Yusuf

Unnecessary complications My question is this, after making an application with great user interface, does it have to be this difficult to use? Not user friendly at all. Please take a cue from "???" If you're not a tech savvy, you just might continue reading same article everyday not knowing how to refresh. Moving from one article to the other is like solving a ruby cube.

Mark Upcraft

Should be better I like the design but frankly you should ditch this and give the proper Engadget app this design. -update: you have. Uninstalling this cos it's a bit poop.

migma dorji

Choose the most. Like this app, also easy to view.

Prag Matiq

Nice Really nice!
