Download Electronic Structure FREE apk 3.0 free for Android smartphone
Apk file size: 1.9 MB
Complete the electronic structure for the first 20 elements, using Bohr-Rutherford diagrams and in number form. The app supports teaching and learning of chemistry at grade 9 or 10 level.
In the UK, it supports the first section of the year 10 GCSE chemistry syllabus (UK). Also suitable for pupils in Y11 who are revising for GCSE chemistry or GCSE science exams.
Add electrons into shells or energy levels by pressing on the screen where an electron is required.
When enough electrons have been added, press "check", and either "correct" or "wrong" will appear. If wrong, there is a hint on how to improve.
Press "Clear" to remove all electrons and start again
Press "Undo" to remove the last electron added.
Takes the user through each element in order, starting with hydrogen and ending with calcium. Users complete a Bohr-Rutherford diagram for each element.
As for level 1a, but after a user has completed an element, it then brings up its associated ion (if there is one), for the user to complete.
Similar to level 1a, but elements come up on the screen in a random order, whenever "next" is pressed, or whenever the user completes an atom correctly.
Random atoms and ions
Random atoms and ions, but instead of tapping on the screen to make electrons appear, the user has to type in the number form of that element or ion.
