Does not do walls, tried and it would only do top part

Sophie W

Great App for matching colours and suggesting colour schemes. The visualiser is quite a simple function and the masking tape function is a bit difficult to use but great for overal idea on what the colour would look like on your own walls!

Greg Paige

Not fit for purpose, utterly useless if you want an app like this use the crown paints one

Norman Tyler

Dulux vizualizer. Initial use without own photo worked very well. Need to import own room photo to confirm quality of use.

Kevin Court

Still doesn't work. Can't understand why this app still doesn't work with my phone as one of their competitors app does, so I use that.

Andrew Pounds

Works well for bold colours. Unfortunately with the lighter pastel colours they all came out grey.

stuart daun

Totally unhelpful as it doesn't explain it's methods at all. Disappointed

L Nazir

Works really well for me I actually really love this app and its been invaluable during the planning stage of our home improvement projects. I'm trying out all kinds of colour combinations in different rooms. I love the masking tape feature that allows you to view a room with two different colours.

Sarah Donovan

Great little app I found the app to be very useful

Neil Lock

It's rubbish

Michael Johnson

Terrible Absolutely terrible thats all i can say

Jacqueline Webster

So easy to use

Lesley Whelan

Very useful Great way to visualise new colours. However when I tried to order sample pots was told to go the shop and buy a full size version!! Not helpful

Philippa Hall

Amazing Such a good application. You don't need to spend alot of money in the shops now buying tester pots and then coming home to paint the walls with them. Just a couple of quick easy steps and you can see so many colours and then try them on your walls. I think I would have made a good few mistakes if I hadn't got this application.

Colin Lewis

Good idea but hassle Great Idea but all a load of hassle pity it uses live images as kept jumping, unable to get it to do split colour and then saved as black screen but showing selected colour panels. Pity also it dont remember searched colours as had to keep searching them..pity good idea but needs work easier with match pots! .... used on tab2..7" screen.

Moonbeam Gardner

That is impressive. Picking the exact right shade somewhere between cream and dark stone to go nicely with Pugin Red was getting very tricky. In the first few minutes of trying this app on Galaxy S2 I've already found 2 colours that work quite nicely :) Adding that after the November update it no longer worked and crashed the screen every time I tried to use it. Delighted to find that uninstalling the app, rebooting and then reinstalling Visualizer was the cure. Now works beautifully again.

Tori Holloway

Ok but not great It would be better if you can choose to use static photographs. I'm moving to a new house so I'd like to use the estate agent pictures to get an idea of a colour scheme

Rachel Cruz

Impressive The functionality of this app is really good with the colour matching from either your viewfinder or a photo. You can't 100% trust the shade of the new colours it applies but that's always going to be the case unless you physically paint a sample on the wall. Gives a really good idea of what a room would look like though

Doug Morris

Complete crap, this simply doesn't work on nexus 6

Gary Gans

Very tricky to use It is a great idea, but using the tape made it difficult to make the tape line accurate. I have neurological disabilities, and I have tremors, so please take my review with a grain of salt.

Bella Donna

Great app! Wish discovered sooner, makes choosing colour so much easier, thanks

Melissa Thomson

Really good Helped me pic all my colours for my home

Paul Dine

Dissapointing Nice idea, but so glitchy I just gave up on it.

Mark Davies

Nice idea, but useless. The colours on the App are nothing like the true shade of the colour chosen.

Poulton runner

Paint How do you erase the colours you hav alread submitted every time i up load the colours are there from last time. Help

Charles Bertenshaw

Great app Works well. Makes choosing colours and checking them out very easy.

Andrea Gubbins

Great Ideal for getting ideas

Tina Chandler

Great app the only problem is it doesn't work on wallpaped walls colouring flickers

Keith Rice

Fantastic idea could work better Really clever idea, handy tool, not overly awkward to use. For best results you need a plain wall with nothing on it tho which isn't always practical in the home. I have an S4 and it works perfectly.

Christopher Evitt

Dulux Visual Good app, but lighting can be an issue and some ways won't get a colour to them

craig innes

Doesn't work Doesn't work with the HTC one M8. Thought I'd try. Great idea though. No need for the copy and paste apology Dulux. I get it.

David Pyke

Don't work What a waste of time making an app that really is only geared up for the iPhone, as a decorator I feel it would of been a fantastic tool to use with clients but as my very new HTC phone is not compatible I am very disappointed

Gwendy Irwin

Different gives a fair idea of what your walls etc will look like with a wide range of shades to use. Gives suggestions on themes for woodwork etc based on the colour you have tried. And it works perfectly on the Samsung so it should be on Google play.

Lisa smith

Paint the walls Useful to get a feel for the colours but only works on plain walls. If they are patterned or patchy it goes a bit crackers.

A Google User

Don't work It would be a good app but isn't compatible with my HTC one phone so usless :(

brian drury

HTC one mini How can this not work with Htc, get with the times man.

Holly Allwright

Camera won't work Good for looking at colours but I can't use the camera

peter rushbrook

Great idea but doesnt work Crap app ..great concept but when it wont let you take a photo... it becomes redundant...was very embarresing infront of the customer

Kirsty Dixon

Excellent Definitely helps me visualise different colours in rooms. Impressed!

Christina Little

Pretty nifty As it says on the tin. Didn't work too well on our walls because we still have stuff up like whiteboards, so it didn't pick those up too well. However it gave a good insight as to what it could look like. Masking tape feature didn't work all too great but didn't need it so didn't matter all too much.

Jelly Dunne

Fair play This app will rip your battery life's heart out through it's knee caps and if you've painted all white like i had it's a little hard to separate different walls, but all in all, quick, messless, easy, 3.75/5 would download again!

Janie Munro

Magic I don't know what people expect from an app, it ain't going to paint your room for you, but I think it works like magic. So it's a bit fuzzy round the edges and the colour may be a wee bit off but it gives a good idea of what a colour change might look in your room.

Paul Evans

Applied works quite well just not on Nexus 5x Everything is upside down... The App needs the updated Google camera API. I Can't be sure whether I want "Misty Mountain" or "Polished Pebble" in the kitchen!

Léo Laub

Love this app! The quality is not amazing but it is amazing to be able to see what your living room would look like in pink!

Lady Genie

Worth 5 stars! I love this app!! to be able to add paint colours to interior walls without the need of using testers is brilliant! :D I also love taking a photo of a room and adding chosen paint colours to it, it gives you the ability to choose accessories etc that will go well with your colour of paint. Now I'm constantly decorating in my mind lol! This is the best app I've ever had ;)

Ilona Mi

Ok but not great Quality of visualisation bit poor. If improved it will be great tool!

Dave Wallace

The app doesn't function for pictures (new or existing) and absolutely loads and loads of actual current Dulux colours are not available to use on the one element of this app that does sort of work. The support team do not respond to numerous emails and reports informing them of this, let alone fix it! If you going to put something out there with your brand name on it, as least take pride in making it work & don't be lazy or totally apathetic when it all goes wrong. Pretty substandard effort. Expected more from a large multi national.

Jennifer McGonigle

Very easy to use Excellent app. Easy to use, the option to save images is really helpful and the very wide range of colours allows you to play around with ideas. Would definitely recommend.

Sheree iles

Dulux This is a great app. No more buying testers.take a photo then try whatever colour suits.

simon traynor

Improvements The colour in the pictures could do with a small improvement and maybe some improvement to the layout otherwise not to bad

beverley regan

Kitchen The application worked well for me to choose the right colour paint recommend definitely

S Latcham

Won't work Using on Samsung Galaxy s6 and visualizer freezes the app causing shut down

Ruth Mawson

COLOURS ALL WRONG Tried it in the bathroom the walls in there are a pale turquoise the app showed them as a pale wishy washy blue so any colour you try isnt going to show the colour you would end up with. No good so have uninstalled

Tim Day

Temperamental Worked great day 1 then visualiser decided not to work day 2. Colour palette is good.

TRICIA BELLE

great for someone who finds it difficult to visualise from a small colour swatch!

Graham Garrett

Doesn't work in picture Poor in live. Needs lots of work..

Paul Ellis

I like it Handy little tool 4 diy-ers and professionals alike!

Andy Sutton

Colours App doesn't have the colours available that you can get from dulux

Natalie Winter

A good way to choose colours but not so good on the pale colours but alot of fun!

Mark Powell

Dulux visualiser Show mates wot their rooms cud look like

Anika Kaur

Awright It was okay I was testing to see what colour my room should be cause am getting it done up but its quiet a good app

Paul Drew

I found the app very useful, I especially like the real time aspect of the visualizer.

tracey healy

Yep , I like it! Easy to use and gives you a better idea of colour choice and suitability.

Paul Heslewood

Rubbish Doesn't work just crashes!!

Kathryn Lloyd

Rubbish. Not nearly as good as its' competitors. Not realistic at all. Frustrating to use.

Margaret Shuttleworth

Deluxe Paint Wonderful to be able to pick the right colour for your room

Roberta wagstaffe

Great app Really like this

Kevin Docwra

Kev Great app, photo is much better then live

buzzinok

Not bad Worth it for the colour picker

Peter Q

Novelty value Great idea. It hates patterned wallpaper.

Ash Berlin

Crashes too often

brianljnr

Brilliant help, well done dulux

Ella Norris

Really useful and fun

S Fre

Useless Visualiser crashes all the time on Sony z3

Hazel White

Not bad Saves buying all those tester pots, colours not exact but gives you an idea

John L

No good This is most likely the worst app I have ever had the displeasure of downloading. It is not helpful in the slightest... My imagination works better than this app lol! It is just messy and blurry... Nothing like the advert that shows it working amazingly. I think they made that advert and then uploaded the wrong app!

tracy kilner

Not working with external photos Cant get it to work on the outside of my house. Works perfectly for internal walls

Paul Mcgill

Doesn't work on wallpaper with new update And the new options on it just make it quite unusable

Lauryn Bryan

Loved it This app has rerley helpt me

Francesco Tedesco

Not worth it It just doesn't work well. The colours you get are very different from the ones displayed. It's a shame as it could have been a useful tool

richard lunn

Very helpful for the no idea brigade.

Jenny Crook

Fun Gives an idea on what not to choose

Paul Watson

Nice idea but doesn't really work Needless to say it's highly reliable on your phones camera and with mine, it didn't work well. My camera changed the tone and contrast of the areas I'm not painting which then made the paint it superimposed look totally out of place. Match it with tester cards instead.

John Almond

Rubbish Can't get a carpet to change colour. If a wall is too white/bright it won't pick up colour. Waste of time.

Louise Hodgkinson

Great App I couldn't believe that this app would actually work! It was like it was too good to be true if I'm honest. Thought I'd use it in my kitchen and it was perfect! Unbelievably easy to use!

Jason Hornsby

Can be a very good tool to show customers the image color of the room thay want to decorate

Jason Smith

Very poor and buggy on galaxy s6 marshmallow. "tap wall to colour" after tapping 500 times it still won't colour anything but a tiny blob on some tiles. Live and photo visualiser. Also willow tree looks 7 times brighter and bluer then the tester pot so colours aren't accurate. I hoped this would help me see what colour goes with kitchen cupboards, but sadly it's colours a very very bright compared to real life

Dan Templeton

Doesn't work on Nexus 7 - very poor

Matthew Walker

Visualizer doesn't work android tablets Tried the visualizer and crashes everytime. Live visualizer also not compatible with android tablets. Colours are useful but hard to find.

Lucy Banks

Okay When trying to take a photo on the visualiser, the app crashes. Also if using the live visualiser, you can't help but shake when trying to hold steady so the app won't paint the room. It would be great if these features worked fully.

Alegria Tracey

Quite good I wanted to say amazing but the colours (depending on the light) are not that accurate. Which is fair enough, can't really ask for much more with current tec. It recognises windows and different walls. So not bad ☺

Richard Jennison

Pretty amazing Extremely useful to assist with colour choosing. How they made it is astonishing.

Jude Cheyne

Canny app Gives a good basic vision of the room

Sarah lynne Boleyn

Seems to be upsidedown when I visualise it! Please fit it :(

Essie Dendy

Cheaper than buying a pot of paint

sandra strachan

Love It I love this app, absolutely no complaints so far. We need to decorate the whole house, and could not agree on colour schemes. This app has sorted all that out and saved us from having any embarrassing arguments in shops etc.

Ruth Mawson

TRIED AGAIN There are so many rubbish paint apps out there that compared to them this one didnt seem so bad. So installed again. Dont know why i bothered. Managed to pick one colour and paint one wall, when i tried to paint next wall, picked colour ok but when i click on visulizer keeps saying Visulizer has stopped working. Think ill go back to the old fashioned way. Colour chart and tester pots,

Alison Pham

really good simple to use. choose colour, do live visual and tap the wall. gives a good idea of how it'll look and useful. can't see any complaints.

Lord Childe

Unstable. Visualised colour constantly flickering - alternating between visualised and actual. And as Dulux is British, you ought to have the British spelling of 'visualiser' - with an S.

alex mckenzie

Where has this app been hiding This app is effing amazing for three years I've bn struggling with what colour to choose and how would it look , now I'm decor crazy one pic and choose a colour even live view , thank you thank you

Pauline Groussaud

Keeps crashing Live visualiser doesn't work. App keeps crashing if I try and do it from an existing picture.

Shahnaz Yusaf

Visualizer does not work when using on a photo.

Melissa Warnes

Upside down Like it's a brilliant idea and everything but it's way too confusing to look at your room upside down

Simon Cull

Does not work Does not work on CyanogenMod.

Rohini Kumar

Not bad, could do better App is clunky and visualiser often fails. Would be good if you could have the colours you have chosen in the suggested colour scheme function to compare. Otherwise, helps get a sense of what colours will look like in a room. No substitute for testers though!

Pennie Hedge

Big colour discrepancy Great idea and it works very well as an app. But having found the perfect virtual shades of paint and bought the tester pots, I found a huge difference between two. Turns out the app is fine, the problem was with the man who mixed the tester pots.

STILL USELESS. Downloaded AGAIN. get as far as use photos then, VISUALIZER HAS STOPPED WORKING. uninstalled. Thought I would give it another try. Still got the same problem. Will try again later.

Tom Edwards

Totally pants I have the tester painted on the wall, and the visualiser gives a totally different colour. Just embarrassing really

Samantha Knott

Very glitchy and hard to use Great idea but sadly it doesn't work correctly. Uninstalled

Anne Alive

Allows me to see rooms in colours I thought I wanted and ones I would never have tried and found I liked.Slow painting a wall sometimes but will use before every repaint now. Probably save me a fortune in buying paint .

Stuart Forward

Field of vision The app is fantastic and a really good use of augmented reality my only problem is the field of view when using the live visualizer is far closer than that when just using the phones camera. I can't zoom out and it crashes when I try to load a photo. Moving the walls in my house is a little tough to do just get enough of the walls in on the visualisation.

Crashes. Doesn't apply masking tape App crashes when attempting to visualise with photos. Unable to view colour on live walls.

Lord Childe

Stripped walls? Useless. Stripped one wall of paper - app does nothing, either live or photo. Another wall in the same room, where I haven't yet got round to stripping it, take photo or live and it works.

Helen Handy

Realistic view of proposed paintwork So useful when can't decide on paint colour and don't want ruin a room or not be happy with end result

Tony Stevenson

Waste of time Upon using the visualiser in the app every wall showed up as plain white even if i picked black!

For an insight to your new room This app is great. Very helpful/useful to give you a guide on how your walls will appear with your chosen colour. I love this app, it's my favourite?

Jenny Lee-Kench

Super app What a great way to be able to see what your room would look like, without splodges of different colours daubed on the wall. Just love it. ?

Scott Robinson

App crashes when you select a picture you have already taken. Shame as the live visualiser isn't the easiest to use.

Rupert Whitehead

Because the captured and live images were inverted I found it unusable on my Nexus 5
