Important compatibility notes
For all Android 4.1 and all Samsung users: There's an Android bug that maybe causes accounts to be lost after a device reboot. To avoid this issue, please install the free app "DAVdroid JB Workaround". Samsung users: The problem doesn't occur if you download DAVdroid using Samsung Store or Amazon Store.
On some Android 4.4.2 devices, DAVdroid accounts will disappear after an app update. If you experience this issue, please install the free app "DAVdroid JB Workaround". Details: http://davdroid.bitfire.at/faq/entry/account-gone-after-updating
Attention: DAVdroid must not be moved to the SD card! This will cause strange behaviour, including account and data loss.

OK with owncloud I used it to sync calendar and contact from owncloud server. Thx to devel guys!
Not bad but some snags No 1 gripe: I see this has been fixed, good stuff, will try it out: cannot change an account's password. This is 2015, passwords get expired, and in spite of it being a paid app, the developer is not interested in fixing this. Secondly it does not seem to sync changes to existing appointments properly on Oracle Beehive
Not working properly on Lollipop Hi, I have purchased this and installed it in my Xperia Z2 which was running on KitKat. My server is Baikal. It was working flawlessly. However, things started to act weirdly after I upgraded my phone to Lollipop. Everytime I add a new contact in the phone, the name will always become empty. After I sync the database, I access the addressbook via my PC and I can see the new entry. It only has the phone number. I'm not sure is this, lollipop's fault or davdroid's fault. UPDATE #2: More weird things. Some contacts are missing in the phone, but it is available in the baikal database. I verified it by installing CardDAV-Sync free beta by Marten Gajda and I can find the contact after that. Really weird. I really hope that I don't have to buy another apps after I have purchased this.
Just works One of those apps you are likely to forget are even installed because once configured they just do their job, but an important one for everybody who cares about controlling their personal data. Six stars for developer responsiveness - he helped me work around a badly configured server faster than I could say "bug"!
Very nice Pretty simple to use once there are established calendars/contacts on the server. Excellent support by the developer!
Often fails to synchronize ... and doesn't tell me much more than that.
Contact Sync Problem [quickly solved] [EDIT: Great communication with the developers who reacted quickly and solved the issue for me. Indispensable Application!]Unfortunately, the app stopped working. Contact sync is broken for me (in the sync process all contacts appear, but are deleted shortly after)
Great app New update fixes sync error in previous version. Developer is great! Very responsive.
Seamless integration Hello! This app provides hassle-free integration with CardDAV & CalDAV. I am using this on ownCloud 7+ and it is pretty darned easy to setup. Definitely worth considering if you're looking to exit the non standards-compliant Google ecosystem. I would go in more detail, but the other reviews speak for themselves.
Oopps guys. Missed a big detail Every time I add a new calendar, I have to remove the caldav account and re add so to get calendar sync check list to add to the sync? Sorry guys this app is not scalable. Going back to caldav-sync and carddav-sync. Thx
Great for our Owncloud integration Get away from Exchange! This app works stupidly well with our servers, thanks dev team.
Great App for Ditching Google This app has allowed me to almost completely replace all Google services with my own hosted by ownCloud. My calendar and contacts are now all stored in my ownCloud, under my control, and they all sync seamlessly thanks to this app.
Now works perfectly Get crash on trying to add account. Using owncloud. Have sent crash reports hopefully can fix as I think this would be best client. . Update: now works as I hoped it would when first installed. Great updates.
Crap app No possibility of trying before buying, sucks when the app doesn't work. Cannot add owncloud url without getting I/O error.
Needs more work Quite an immature product. Would not have bought it if I have known earlier. Does not allow configuration change once it is set up. No option to change sync interval.
Bad application I'm not able use home server. Do not allow self signed https certificate. Not usable.
Great! Works flawlessly since the last update on galaxy s5 with owncloud installation as backend.. The last update corrected some issues I had with my ssl certificate on my tls vhost.. As said, all great since then..
Works brilliantly with Contactzilla After moving from iOS which has fantastic CardDAV support I was surprised to find it was not baked in to Android. DAVdroid solved this and meant I could access my Contactzilla address books on my Nexus 5 and 7.
Great App, friendly support works great with my Radicale CalDAV server :).
Wonderful. It just works No problems far. Well done, thank you
It's not there yet But then, there's no app available that does it all. Still missing : note and task sync via caldav. And, Editing existing profiles to add calendars. Anyway, what it does so far, does it right. No hassle and no strange licence verification to unknown proxy's. By any means, a great way to minimise using Google services.
Great App Well impressed with this app as far as calendar sync functionality is concerned - slick , seamless and stable working with my owncloud box Unfortunately because of a 'bug/feature' in the only android phone I own (HTC one x) - it is not at all compatible with the contacts side of this software and caused me no end of frustration trying to get it working At the time of purchase/download this was not mentioned - so beware if the phone you wish to use this with is a HTC one x and your running the std firmware/software - contacts simply will not work - not even 1 way The team have suggested a way I may be able to get this to work (custom firmware/software) - and is something I am looking into as I had really hoped this software would achieve for me Had it worked out of the box it would easily get top marks from me The team have emailed me a couple of times to try and sort out my issue with contacts - so despite it only half working on my phone I have given above half score
Perfect +++ Awsome app that I use to connect my owncloud. It took me a bit time too configure my startssl certificate and finally have the connection working over ssl (59$ two years for a wildcard), but this was not related to Davdroid. Well worth its price! Now google dont know who i meet, where I go...
great app great appp, works just fine. just two things: 1) after update my accounts were deleted :/ 2) would be nice for it to handle redirects :)
Not the price worth Birthdays and groups are not synchronized. Almost no configuration options.
Works fine on CE edition of kolab 3.1 just point it at the /iRony folder and it does the right thing
It just works This is the only caldav sync app that simply worked. The rest such as caldav-sync, SolCalendar, etc did not.
Simple and powerful This simple tool does not offer a common app-interface, but the possibility to add a WebDAV-Account in the settings of Android. This makes it really simple to add a new WebDAV-Account to my phone and synchronize my calendar and contacts. I tried it with Fruux, which worked perfectly out of the box.
Does exactly what it says And in a better way than the other applications I tried. Using it with ownCloud on my own server :)
Can't get a refund I tested this app but it did not connect to my Zimbra Server. I uninstalled it but I could not get a refund. What it wrong ?
Easy and Open Seamless integration with the calDAV and cardDAV standard, would love to see Task support.
Please add possibility to sync folders over WebDav.
Worked for awhile After over a month of back and forth with the developer, it finally worked on my stock Sprint S4. I am now running CyanogenMod 12.1 and it refuses to sync my calendars again. Privacy Guard is off but still nothing. I'm forced to switch to something else.
Awesome Now it's even more awesome now it has tasks support.
Works but lacks features It works, but can't alter the synced calendars!
Jolly good Seems to work really well. There was a problem with iCloud contacts recently, I think Apple changed something. Developer seems to have fixed it, some other apps on store still not working. I do have a problem with seeing two copies of my iCloud calendar events. I've even tried fully clearing my calendar storage and they still come back duplicated (only on this device), so I'm not quite sure what to try next.
Got rid of the HTC software on my One X and installed a custom ROM....works brilliantly and keeps everything (contacts and calendar) perfectly in sync with my owncloud server - could not ask for more :D
:) Contact pictures are well synced to the Posteo server, but does not appear in the Mac-addressbook! With an other app this works.
Yes Using it for calendars, contacts and tasks. Works perfect. Thank you, guys. Good job.
Works with recent davmail to help integrate with exchange. Thanks all!
Can i sync group and notes?
Great syncing app! It integrates well with Android 5.1.1 on my Sony Xperia Z2 mobile device and Baikal server. There are only two flaws, though: 1) Re-selecting the calendars is not possible. If you add a new calendar on your server, you need to add a new DAVdroid account to enable syncing with this new calendar. There is no option yet to re-scan for new calendars and re-select them. 2) Sony's Contacts app: If you only fill in the "combined name", first name and last name are not properly recognised. You need to enter first name and last name separately after expanding the name field to several detailed fields in the contacts app. I think, however, this is an issue with Baikal and Sony's contacts app.
Dosn't work on any carddav server. Don't waste your Money I have tried: Apple iCloud, Marketcircle Daylite, Synology Carddav Server Not sync at all. Other Apps sync with same settings smoothly.
Fantastic syncing application I use it with Radicale to sync my calendars and contacts to my own server, it works flawlessly. Setup is one screen, and everything works as it should. Can't recommend Radicale+DAVdroid enough.
Pretty easy to use. It gets the job done.
Great app - even better support I have been using this app for a while with my owncloud server and I recommend it! The support is nice, helpful and fast! Thank you.
Doesn't work with my caldav only (but not carddav) server
I wasn't quite happy with it at first but its much better now.
it works with owncloud please make it trust self signed certificates without importing them to android, not everybody have rooted device
works a treat.
Does what it says and then some Almost perfect. Works perfect with my owncloud setup. Add some wizards for well known stuff (yes, its all in the FAQ but I pay for features) and integrate the certificate wizard (why another app to integrate my self-signed cert? Security concerns?) and I'll give 5 stars
Very nice Pretty simple to use once there are established calendars/contacts on the server. Excellent support by the developer!
Works really well Works really well. If removing and re-adding a calendar, it is worth clearing down the device calendar storage (i.e. 'Clear Data' on the Calendar Storage app; assuming all your calendars are in the cloud, of course), to speed up the process of removing the old events.
Had to reinstall couple of times Now it works fine as before. Great app!
Just works One of those apps you are likely to forget are even installed because once configured they just do their job - and this one's is an important one for everybody who cares about keeping control of their personal data. Six stars for developer responsiveness - he helped me work around a badly configured server faster than I could say "bug"!
Works as it should Moreover than just a great sync app you can get excellent, fast and competent support. Price is totally justified to give some small amount back for all the work.
What have you done! It was working beautifully connecting to the two calendars on my synology server. Today it updated to v1 and now the accounts have gone. I'm on v6 of android. After a lot of effort it finally worked again. If it ain't broke...
Update works well. I had to uninstall, reinstall and setup the app newly. After these steps all works perfectly with my Baïkal Server. Thanks a lot for this great app.
Very nice! I've been using DavDroid because it's open source and with the belief it would eventually offer full-featured sync with Kolab. With this last update it now delivers on that promise, along with a very nice Material Design interface.
Works great Super useful and reliable.
Awesome Set it up and forget it; it just works. Instead of TLS, I use ssh tunnels via the SPT app. No problems at all.
Wow Reliable synchronisation with clean user interface
This is one of my must haves on Android.
Doesn't Work! Does not work with Axigen Groupware.
