Reduced to 3 stars & now up to 4 Since the last update I can no longer enter the You crossword direct from the app & Pitcherwits has been removed. Very poor show. Pitcherwits & Nine to Five have today suddenly returned. Please stop messing with this app

b parsons

Don't work on Motorola xoom Just doesn't work says it's compatible with tablets but doesn't

Desmond Winstanley

Will not auto download A decent app with only one problem, it will not auto download to my samsung tablet over wifi in the mornings, i have to manually download it even though settings are set to auto over wifi, most annoying as i can not just grad and go each morning

Phil Chaney

Bugs nearly gone Hopefully the download stall issue has been fixed. Works well on HTC Desire, Samsung Tab 2 7.0 and Kindle Fire HD.

Jacqui Barnaby

Downloading problems Can now read mail on both tablet ad smartphone. Thanks to help team.

russell ramsey

Sports Loved the video reports and pics

Laura Daniels

Rubbish Absolute rubbish update. It has buggered up my subscription through the app store can't restore and now I can't read the paper

Shary Mub

App Developer has listened Finally Mail plus is available and readable on Android phones. I can now carry my daily newspaper in my pocket everywhere installed on my Galaxy Note 3. No need to say anything about the quality of the content. Everyone knows Daily Mail. The app is user friendly with good quality pictures. You can zoom in any article to read. In the update they have taken away the ability/icon to share any article but if you highlight and select the whole text, you can still share the text via android's sharing ability.

Kenneth Shewan

Early Days Have not been able to download for last two days - thankfully only on trial offer, would certainly not pay for this service. After initial problems now working fine.

Stevie Shaw

Mail plus Great app, would be perfect if it had the skeleton crossword on sundays

Mike Harding

Excellent My trial is working great on my Samsung tab 4. However probably won't buy it as I still buy the paper to get the unique numbers as they are not included. Otherwise 5 stars.

Len Martin

Getting better with Each release. Gets better with Each update. If the store doesn't recognise its compatible with your device, find someone who has it, use APK extractor and Google how to sideload apps.

Caroline Powell

love it but...... Initially hated it now love it except for lack of arrowword in Sundays you magazine. Why then has my subscription been cancelled without word or touch of a button ? Edit... card had expired ! Now it will not download. When it downloads and running smoothly again I will up my star rating.

Anthony Hall

Different! Takes getting used to from a traditional newspaper, as one would expect. My Broadband is slow , so downloading equally slow. The full newspaper appears to be there , EXCEPT unique numbers , which is bitterly disappointing as I have collected them for years. That alone may influence decision to continue with this model after my free trial has ended.

Abdulhussain Nabijee

Awful and fails to download fully most of time. Better on ipad but rubbish on android tablet

Trevor Woodfield

Useless Will not open on Nexus 10. Luckily it was only trial version.

Phil Brindle

Don't do it! A complete waste of money, never downloads the full paper, 'support' non existent. You will regret this purchase.

Graeme Walker

Good app if it works, have not been able to download a full issue since I started using the app, left it beside my router today in case it was a signal issue but still didn't even download first page

jacki butcher

Odd sizing Can't play sudoko easily as it won't allow me to see the whole game. Can't make smaller

Colin Smith

Well we have finally got there its perfect now well done , dont change it we fear change !

Lee Hunt

Good app, works on nexus 7, but I'm unable to go past subscription login on my Galaxy S4, can only enter login and password and can't go any further ! :-(

Richard Appleton

Great upgrade, was getting fed up with the one column reader whenever a photo was included.

Kevin Smith

So so application. Okay to read but never seems to completely download. Get to later pages and get 'resume download' message. Will stick to paper version!

Barbara Reid Reid

Garbage,no complete download, tired of crappy service.

Sharon Sampson

Can cancel blooming thing

John Kay

Poor! Frequently hangs; often fails to load, or loads only in part; used to be HD photos - not now; bookmarks fail to record. Barely enough for 2 stars .... Update Sept, '14 - Why must they tinker with things? Latest "improvement" to puzzle section is the exact opposite. Another fail!

Ian Paterson

What a shame! When it works it's brilliant. Why keep trying to "improve" it and then leave us with days of frustration whilst you fix it? No Mail Plus at all today! (1.10.2014)

Alan Nicholas

Cancel my last review This version is much improved on the previous and now that coffe break is so much better I can highly reccommend it

Dave Eggleton

Oh Dear! What a shame that Daily Mail can not get this right. Frequently fails to download - then only part of it downloads - then it keeps wanting to send error messages - then it fails to enlarge properly - then it will not show pictures - then it will not open - etc etc etc. Unfortunately their "help" department is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. I have to wonder as to exactly WHICH bit of "I have deleted and reinstalled (again)" is it that they do not understand? I am seriously unimpressed and cancellation of my subscription is now not far off.

Frank Burns

Was happy with the first version. Hated the second. Today the world righted itself on my Nexus. Newest version suddenly turned up unannounced with the main bugs unbugged. Picture quality massively improved. Scrolling around on zoomed pages with no problems. Happy bunny!!

Elizabeth Teagle

Hopeless But Help Desk Even Worse My husband and I have a subscription for his iPad which works well (although not as well as the previoys version). If you purchase through the Daily Mail website, you can use the app on two devices. As his purchase was through iTunes we were told we needed a second subscription to read it on my Samsung tablet which was a surprise because both devices worked last time we were on holiday. Anyway, we signed up with a second subscription and it just does not work at all. We try to log in to download the paper and just get internal serber error messages. The Help Desk have not resolved it and are totally useless. They keep telling us to call back. Why would we do that from Indonesia at £1.50 per minute. This type of app just needs to work first time. Our Sunday Times app works just fine. Perhaps the Daily Mail developers should actually try out the app from a customer perspective. It is utter junk and we feel ripped off.

martin lowe

Rarely works They just cannot get this App to work. The daily editions will not autodownload and never fully download. The download stops at about 70%. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I have exchanged numerous emails with the technical department. We deserve better than this for £120. The previous App worked well. Why did they ever change it!

grant gilmour

STILL!!Teething problems Grrr! preferred the old style as clean and simple and could read with one hand, I think they have gone for a cheap version by just scanning the paper edition, they fix 1 thing then another problem appears, hangs and freezes loads, the newest problem is cant tap to enlarge to read unless i have wifi so no use at work, not enough room to list all complaints, may as well go with the free edition online, sort it out please

Andrew Rockall

Great app works well on my nexus 5. I like the reproduction of the news paper format. Also the addition of extra PICs, video and other links.

Rebecca Benge

Why did they change it?! Two months or so ago The Mail updated itself to this current format, when the original that I downloaded at christmas was fine. Now we have a ealistic newspaper format which means the writing is too small to read unless you zoom in and move the page around to read it . Either that or you click on an individual article, wait awhile for it to load and lose the pics that go with it (unless you click to view separately). And now there's an annoying ticker scroll thing just appeared that distracts my reading!!!

Colin Groves

Update.. after rebooting tablet and re installing app, now works.. Just does not work. Have not been able to successfully download a single issue. At some point during download it freezes. Also for some reason get multiple downloads for the same issue..... not fit for purpose

Linda Wrigglesworth

Don't like Don't like this 2nd app poor loading constant freezing and lots of work to read each section which then drops halfway through

Wendy Lishman

Love getting the paper this way I like the format now I have got used to it. I love getting the paper this way. It downloads quickly onto my Samsung. I paid up front for the year. I like seeing lots of photos

Gavin lee

Wow you really need to update! This app is shocking can't even active my 3 month free trial. Nothing fits on the screen. Update to material design and I'll happily come back and retry your app.

Peter Evans

Mail plus Daily news papr

Leslie Busson

Buzz Easy to use and runs smoothly. The puzzles are excellent.

Colin Smith

Well we have finally got there its perfect now well done , dont change it we fear change !so you changedit it's fu#### now well done seeing im not interested in the sweaty edition for no gain

David Bowes

Dreadful new app Mail say this is developed following reader feedback... This app is a joke. Can not read the paper now.

Ceri Clark

No unique code on back of newspaper You can't enter the competitions as there is no unique number on the back page (it is replaced by a weird advert) so don't subscribe if you want to do this.

Miles Osborne

Good news paper reader but The app has a major flaw, papers are stored on internal memory not the sd card and you can't change this. With the mail on Sunday taking up 250mb it rapidly takes your memory space up. Otherwise great app

Nosy Rosie

Great App Much better than the paper version. No more full waste bin, much cheaper, easy to obtain newspaper abroad and you can revisit earlier issues if needed.

Mike Harding

Excellent My trial is working great on my Samsung tab 4. However probably won't buy it as I still buy the paper to get the unique numbers as they are not included. Otherwise 5 stars. Update, have been using this app for 9 months now on Samsung Note 4 and Tab 4 without any problems except it rapidly fills up internal memory as does not save to sd card. Have to keep deleting previous issues. Please update app with option to save to sd card. Will then deserve 5 stars.

George Penty

Good reading but Please include tick boxes on items so I can customise my download to suit my preferences consequently reducing download size.

Desmond Winstanley

The ability to download to the SD card would help,,, newspapers take up a lot of memory on my device as i subscribe to more than one daily newspaper

Alan Smith

Good But….. Good - if memory hungry - app. But not worth 10 quid a month when you already buy the paper every day. Since they started charging I have uninstalled.

Peter H Armitage

At last A newspaper app that let's me browse a newspaper but then zooms in for easy reading

Delsey Welsey

Until recently, very good. Starting yesterday, the Coffee Break section (puzzles, quizzes, etc) has had a revamp and no longer works at all. I have emailed reply as yet. Will cancel my subscription if they don't sort it out soon.

Gordon Dobson

Mail Plus Have to delete previous issues manually or you run out of space quickly

peter brown

Good. but my only gripe is that it will only download to internal memory and take a huge amount of space.

Colin Smith

Well we have finally got there its perfect now well done , dont change it we fear change !so you changedit it's fu#### now well done seeing im not interested in the sweaty edition for no gain ok its better now leave it alone please .

Brian Laird

See comments by Ceri Clark - the unique numbers should be entered automatically for those paying for a premium subscription.

Martin Rowson

What's not to like? All features of the daily and sunday edition is here, including You, Event and Weekend magazines, at a very reasonable rate. Have been using the app for the past few years now, and I couldn't do without it.

Desmond Winstanley

Sd card download needed The ability to download to the SD card would help,,, newspapers take up a lot of memory on my device as i subscribe to more than one daily newspaper

Sandra Burns

Now deleted Only had the app to do the puzzles. We buy the paper every day. The app enabled me and my husband to both do the codeword, crossword etc. Used to be free by entering numbers from the paper, but this has been discontinued. Now I have to pay for this, but as I already pay for the paper I refuse to pay twice just to do the puzzles. Not a good move, Daily Mail, loyal paying customers really shouldn't have to pay twice so that both of us oldies can keep our brains working!!!

David Wyman

Nightmare I have to uninstall and reinstall every day to read it. I contacted the mail weeks ago about it and they said to do this. Ridiculous.

Angela Biscoe

No real problems it downloads early morning I like the format nice & clear, but I'm not able to do any of the crosswords as their keyboard doesn't show all the letters !! Very frustrating have reported the error hope it gets fixed soon.

John Davies

Mail Plus Keep having to download the app every day to get the days copy unininstall then reinstall

Joan Higton

All I do is uninstall it at least once a week because the new edition has not loaded

Sam Nicholson

Have delete app and download again everyday to get paper!
