The Common Core Lesson Planner is must have app for teachers who want to utilize their Droid tablet into their daily use.The Common Core Lesson Planner was created by a teacher for teachers to help make planning and assessing with the Common Core Standards more efficient and effective.

We have developed a new way for educators:
- to plan their days using Voice Recognition, ( no more writing, just speak your content into the app)
- view what standards they have taught and how often they have taught it throughout the year,
- to quickly score standards all while being mobile in the classroom with your tablet in hand
and overall bringing Education a new level of functional and accountable teaching practices.

Your Daily Lesson Plans At Your Fingertips

Never again try to filter through chicken scratch hand writing or write super small to fit in your lesson content into the tiny boxes. Type or speak your lesson (speaking is Droid only) plans into the application, and carry them around your classroom with ease on your iPad or Droid tablet.

One Touch Standards Based Grading

After selecting your standards for the day that you are teaching, select the Assess button. Type in the details of your assessment. .i.e. .. "Students will read 10 multi-syllable words." Then walk around the room and quickly assess students by touching Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue for Minimal, Basic, Proficient, and Advanced. Stars next to the standard show a class average of that assessment.

View Students Progress Per Standard

When it comes to report card time, nothing is worse than to spend hours sorting through scores and proficiency levels that were taught during the quarter. The CCLP app makes it easy to view every student and how well they have done on each standard over the last 10 assessments. Report cards will never be quicker.

The Standards and Standard Count In Plain View

Have you ever wondered if you have hit a Common Core State Standard enough times? Utilize the "Standards" tab to view the standards of the grade levels you teach as well as scan how many times you have put the standard into your lesson plans throughout the year.

Paper or PDF?

Sometimes you need to print plans for a substitute, or for a back folder. The CCLP App allows you to put in any email, select the week, and send/share a PDF of your weekly plans. Your plans will display the days of the week, the classes you teach, your lesson objective, lesson content, and the standards in a very readable format.

just purchased Just purchased and seems like it shouldbe very helpful...I would like to be able to select more than one day to add identical schedules...also I would love to see this able to add my own lesson plan template on the setup so that it duplicates along with the schedule and I dont have to enter my template every day.

Can't email them so the lesson plans can be printed Can't email them so the lesson plans can be printed

Won't save my class. Nexus 7. Please refund.

Samsung tablet App is not working or developer falsely portrayed "ease" of product. I had to retype standards in order to add them to my lesson plan. Plus, no help button or way to undo errors. Not very versatile...disappointed.

Unusable! Frustrating interface. Tiny arrows to type in class schedules .... lots and lots of manual scrolling. Once I input all my class data and went to hit initialize. .. Nothing!

App with a lot of potential I recently purchased this app to help me organize my planning for Common Core this year. The interface was a little tricky at first but soon got the hang of it. This will really help me track and score my students on the new standards quickly and accurately. At some point I hope it will offer a cloud/sync option so I can use it between both my Nexus devices seamlessly. Other than that, if you are a teacher this probably should be on your "must have" list.

I am loving this app. I came across this app from a pin through pinterest. I read some great things about it and decided that I would give it a try. I rarely buy apps but took a chance with this one. There was some difficulty at first because it was a Galaxy Tab I was working with, but the creater has been amazing with it. He was aware and had been working on the fixes. Great communiction with him and since it is up and running for galaxy I am loving how efficient it is. If you are expected to have your plans laid out in advance for your administration, this is definately an app to invest in.

I was very excited when I discovered this app. I loved the video. However, I was disappointed in the way it deleted classes. One wrong swipe and your info is lost. I also did not like how the class scheduler worked. The options for class imput decreased once you selected a class. So if you have rotating classes throughout the week at the same time each day, the planner will not allow you to select the same time on a different day. Editing is difficult. If you spelled a child's name wrong you have to delete the whole name and start over. Heaven forbid you want everything in alphabetical order. You have to put your info in perfectly or else start all over again. I think the app is a great idea and starting point, but it needs more work. I hope the developer updates these snags because I really want to use it.

Thank you for response. Thanks for getting back to me. I wish you the best in development of the app and in your teaching year.

Very well done After corresponding with the very helpful developer, fixing some bugs and whatnot, I am very pleased with this ap. I cannot wait to use a paperless planbook that had the common core standards already within the ap. On top of that, tracking student progress will be a breeze. Just a tap here and there and all of my students will have records of teir progress on each CCSS standard. This will make planning that much easier! Thanks Tom!!!

Great app! This app helps keep plans focused. I really like how I can enter formal and informal assessment outcomes right at my fingertips. Can't wait to be able to print data. Help/support with the app is great. Easy to communicate and send emails in regards to questions or concerns.

RoseAnna Lee

Can't email my plans! So far, this app has been great! Until I went to email my plans to myself! It will not work! That feature is one of the main reasons I purchased this app. :(

Makes using CCSS easy This app makes using CCSS possible in the classroom. It is easy to use and captures what teachers need to know and document about student learning. Traditional grade book spreadsheets (and the people who use them) cannot possibly handle multiple standards scores for every assignment. Apps like this could not only monitor CCSS in real time, but mastery of learning behaviors (PBIS), and teacher standards (SEED) at a tiny fraction of the cost of old SS systems. Looking forward to more from this developer.

Lisa Shainker

Great app!!! Love this app. I would like to see a save button added to the voice recognition part. As well as being able to say a sentence and then being able to add on to that like when you use the voice feature on your smart phone.

Jerry Woods

I love this app! Enough said. ISTE updates are awesome. Lesson planning is almost fun now. Oklahoma Teacher

For any educator First off I can finally get rid of my old lesson planner(paper) and feel like I have consistent assessment of my students. This allows me to make realistic goals based on common core standards.

Jeff Comer

Worth more than $4.99! Paper lesson planners are $8, do not have the standards, nor near the features of this. Love it this app after 5 minutes.

Breann Sanders

Would not download It was in process for 15 minutes. I have a Samsung tab 3. I have astrong wifi conection. Either refund or solve my problem. I saw several other people with the sme complaint with a curt condesending responce, but no solution.

Sha Cla

Seems great for elementary I would like to see several features added, but the developer is extremely responsive.
