Remarks to the permissions
Due to the new Setting and UI Appearance, I had to completely change the whole Settings behavior.
Unfortunately I could not transfer the old Settings to the new Ones. You have to open the app and set your SMS/Call Tracking Settings by your own.
This permission is needed for the publicity, depending on which provider you use, they will need to know the rought or exact position.
- Read SMS or MMS
For receiving SMS there is a systemevent known by Android, altough for sending there is none. Therfore this permission is needed.
-Full internet access
This is also due to the publicity which needs to be reloaded. Additionally bugs can be transmited likewise.
- add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge
Adding calendar entries is self explaining. This permission altough inherits the right to send E-Mails to guests, which I do not use. Sadly there is no other possibility than this right to add calendar entries.
- automatically start at boot
With this permission a service will be started which can react to outgoing SMS. Like I said before there is no other way to react to the outgoing SMS.
Q: I do not receive notifications about new events. What’s the matter?
A: This issue can have the following reasons:
1. All Devices MUST use the same calendar or else nothing will happen.
2. The Com2Cal Eventservice must be enabled in the settings.
3. The selected calendar of your Android Device must be synced with the cloud. Com2Cal however does not influence this issue.
Q: I Enabled the Eventservice in the Settings of Com2Cal. In my opinion I have forgotten nothing. None the less I still get no notifications. What could be the problem?
A: The chances are big that Android does not synchronize the calendar automatically. This differs from version to version and from provider to provider. When you insert a new entry into Google Calendar it should be synchronzied. If that’s not the case Com2Cal will not recognise that a new Notification appeared. On my ASUS Transformer PAD Infinity (TF700T) the calendar is not being updated automatically. On my Samsung S3 yes.
Q: How long does it take a Notification to appear from Device A on to Device B?
A: As long as it takes to synchronize your caledar. This could be 30 seconds or a few minutes. Regularly in my case it takes up to 60 seconds.
Q: What’s with the filters?
A: It is very possible that you do not want to be informed about everything. E.g: you would not want to be informed about a received call, but about a missed call. Now you could set in the “Filter send” which notifications other devices should receive.
“Filter receive” you can set which notifications you want to be informed about. Maybe you don’t want to be notified about received calls on other devices eventhough this device would have sended that information.
Q: If I tap on a Notification on the list different actions can be made. e.g: send a message etc. On which device are these actions executed?
A: On the device you’re holding in your hands, if this device allows the action.

App perfection! Bordering on magic! Atrix HD running Lollipop 5.0.2 (CM12).....This app has quietly performed all set tasks flawlessly and consistently since day one. So much so that I often forget I have it. That is until I need to verify or research a call or text and, like the magic and dependability of the old dial tone, the info is always right there in my G calendar! SUPERB!!!
Unfortunately not working in android 5.0 (lollipop) on a nexus 5.. Nothing happens when I receive or send sms or calls
Works great Upgraded to new phone works great on my galaxy ace. And great support from the programer top.
How does it work
BarryS Same as Alan Chiang works great for calls but not SMS on a Nexus5 is it possibly due to the way SMS are handled through Hangouts? only thing stopping a 5star review
Good Business Tool As a consultant to several clients, this is great to tag billable time.
It works What else can you say it works perfectly. I wish it had an option to only export while charging but otherwise is fine !!
Mayur This apps good but I am not satisfied with this apps
Thnx to the Dev Roland S. I appreciate this app and I recommend downloading it. ,-)
Great app New version rocks! Thanks to the developer who listens to its users. Practically made all requested options! :)
Highly recommended One of the apps that makes you realise that your phone is truly a smartphone. Kudos to the dev for making this app free. One complaint though, SMS messages do not log into my Google Calendar even with the option checked. Running Galaxy Nexus CyanogenMod 10
very useful recording calls (and SMS) in the calendar is an excellent idea. uses internal calendaring, so doesn't need extra auth permission. I get FC recently during calls.
Works excellent Does what I needed to do great app I recommend it
Excellent program Minus one star because it keeps asking me to rate it when I already did. Fixed. Five stars, as this utility functions exactly as advertised.
Stephaine Fowlkes Helps keep me very organized.
GK Light, easy, accurate, Can auto backup calls & sms I recommend it and waiting moreover from the developer
Great A practical and useful record, business tool too
Very good Good tool to recapitulate
Great product But how do you know which device is primary and which is secondary. I m using 2 x sgs3 and only one is getting notified??please help.
Excellent program. Has a bug on my phone though. Great program. Great idea. Minus a star because for me, I am experiencing a bug that causes ten to twenty calendar entries to be made per phone call, and they are all incorrect entries.
Excellent so far Well "so far" means like 5 minutes :-D Yes it logs into GCal, and enters new events with all the information. But it seems underfeatured in several ways, like dumping both SMS & calls to a single calendar, and no label can be chosen on behalf of the user. Yet it's (desirably) overfeatured in filters & notifications. Bottom line: IT WORKS!!! :-) Samsung Galaxy Core 2 / Android 4.4. -- UPDATE: it's missing to sync new SMS :-(
Works great Upgraded to new phone works great on my galaxy ace. And great support from the programmer top. Have another new phone "pop star" also work great.
