Revolutionary An innovative way of sending and receiving text, photo's and URL's. Amazingy fast and easy, without the need of any possible connection between devices. Great!

Christopher Small

It's good but dont share sensitive data You're essentially uploading to their server and they give you an audio url for the data so it's pretty fun and gimmicky, good for marketing. But a word of warning: Do not upload anything sensitive if you value your privacy. Also the mic is always listening in the app which I find weird.

Michael Perl

Great application Works flawlessly between all mobile devices android and iOS. Hope the day will come when you can transfer any files types in any size. Keep up with this great project. Thanks for a very ingenious and elegant solution.

girish bhat

Awesome Super app , its sounds like a sci fiction

Stefan M

Really like it Couldn't believe how well it worked. Unlimited applications

Pete Haines

Neat program Don't really see anything negative about it.

Steve Ellis

Fast transfer But wont save galaxy s4 and note 10.1

Mendel Jedwab

Great idea, not particularly useful This would be a whole lot more useful if you could send contact info, specifically your own.

Dave Dulany

Unbelievably great app!

Anthony Waitz

Problems Very unreliable when going between Nexus 5 and iPad. Also caused problems with voice recognition on Nexus 5. When it works is fun.

Jake Spencer

Works great but doesn't login to facebook. I love this app (Wish I used this more!) But unfortunately it doesn't like to connect with facbook. I can't wait until this is fixed :)

Andy Candler

Lollipop fail Will not load with Nexus 6 :-(

Tyson Murphy

Great but needs work It is tons of fun, but you have to have data to send and receive images.. Also had problem sending and receiving images more than 10ft away. Fix these bugs and it will be tons of fun.

Jailyn Brice

Its not working I would try to go into the app and it would just take me to a dark screen then just exit itself. Fix this bug please its so annoying

Jean Souza

Works most of the time. It works most of the time even with people talking and the TV on. I had some connection issue messages and some of my chirps would never get ready. I think it is a lot of fun and is as useful as bump is. Advantage being you can reach many more destinations with sound than having to touch another device. This has tremendous potential. I will five star when the app stop saying that I have no connection. Thanks for the fun!

Ryan Corbey

Cool technology, low quality pics This app is a really great idea. It's great to be able to share one pic with many people (nearby). I was glad to hear I. Could avoid texting pics because they must be resized, smaller. After comparing they quality of a shared pic between text and chirp, to texted pic is better quality by far.

Adamant King

Sorry I thought this was going to be cool The summary infers that the files are encoded but it is really just a sound encoded link to an uploaded file. I not only do not want my file uploaded but I wanted to be able to share files without an internet connection. So only one star for more marketing hype than technology

Shubham Jain

Genius You guys are freaking Geniuses :D Seriously No Joke. Thanks a lot :) I would give it 10 stars if i could.

Brandon Michels

Absolutely Brilliant, Why is it seemingly not maintained? This app is based on an ingenious idea, however it has several problems. First when I transfer a pic from on device to another, it will fail to save it to me you gallery unless I exit the app, then launch it again. Once I reopen the app, it will save the pic. Secondly, pics are substantially reduced in quality when sent through chirp. I would like to transfer them at full or near full resolution, or at least be given the option to choose. Other than these faults it is a great app.

Ahmed Nizam

What an idea sir ji!! UI should be better. I am used to pressing back and it gets me out of application.

Bassam Saridar

Cant send files without internet connection It would be great to send and recieve files directly from one device to other without an intermediate link. I could simply whatsapp the file and done.

Ethan van Woerkom

Scam It's true, they are a bunch of liars. The app needs internet to send a picture because it only shares a link. It sends no true information.

Ian Prescott

A stunningly brilliant app! It just blew me away by the way it works and its ease of use.

John Huynh

Promising app Please upgrade the photo quality when sending photos. Also, you should either get the option of cropping the photo yourself or more preferably send the full photo(not square).

Ruald de Bruyn

Cool Cool idea. But should really just be a built in feature of whatsapp or bbm or something so that people dont have to down load it separately.

Andrew Buxton

Buggy Won't let me send certain notes, complaining about network (browser and other apps working fine though ). Tried the feedback page but that didn't work either!

Myss Tery

Useless! For what it does, you can use Bluetooth and they won't have your files stored to their servers... I wanted to try this as a replacement for BUMP... big mistake! This one is to far from Bump! There not even a link you could share to devices that does not have a microphone...

Greg Voorhees

Sub-standard Crops photos and cuts off heads on closeup photos. Do away with the cropping and it will be 5 stars

Jay Blayk

Great But can you add a way to listen in the background ?

Tom Davidson

Great idea, flakey on Android Really like this technology, and have been waiting for it on Android for years. Now that it's here, it needs the rough edges smoothing as it quite regularly force closes. And there doesn't appear to be a way to send a contact which is quite a big limitation.

mark Wrighting

brilliantly done 5/5 works well on galaxy s3 thankyou

William Knauer

Great work The chirp guys are awesome. App could use some ui work but it does what it says. FYI sending a link to a picture *does* qualify as sending true data.

Timothy Mugadza

disappointing if your phone is low end think twice before getting it,

Muhammad Vaid

Where's the update? Developers have left the app to rot away. So much potential

Joe Doherty

Crashes all the time I love Chirp but it no longer work properly. Always crashes. Nexus 5

osama ahmed

Galaxy s3 Works as described, must have app

Lotfi El-Yamani

Cool Nice and easy. Needs some updating.

Joni Rap

Great app Easy to use, very effective

Oleg D

Haha! Only link to uploaded data

Олег Репетило

Awesome app! It so weird to see how someone receives your content using sound! But it really works. Awesome app

Кирилл Лейфер

For new way of data transmission you need wifi, are you serious?

chris ed

everything is online! no use chirp connect online for sending anything, even notes and messages! There is nothing u can do offline. and they don't want to give us offline capabilities. the app is of no real or practical use.

Cry Toy

1) The app connects online to Chirp's main site, and that defeat its purpose. They should allow sending our own links, messages and small text. 2)The app continually is listening via the microphone, it called "Spying". The app should have a "Start Listening" and "Stop Listening" button. Chirp shouldn't impose themselves on the users, we want to send our links and messages without using their website or the internet.

Nkansah Rexford

What's the use, Remind me again? Depending on how you landed here, you might be disappointed or impressed! For me, I'm annoyed. What's the use, if it still needs internet connection to send the file? Google Tone sends links directly, now this wants me to upload to somewhere before being about to send? And I download 6MB of apk? Crap!

Ristéard de Faoite

Uses the internet for most of the file transfer. Maybe try frequency shift keying and become the first app to perform true data transfer via audio only. no url. no internet. no veiled and misleading claims. therapeutic eh?!

Ivan Delany

It will be good Great idea. Bugs in the app though - can't save pictures to gallery, can't sent videos and Android share isn't fully worrying yet.

kavitha kumarasamy

Ok!!! Good idea... can be improved.

Luis Sánchez

Really original Faster and more comfortable than bluetooth to share things.

Steve Ellis

Fast transfer Works great thank you

Sudesh Kumar Agrawal

Error pop-up AWS access error! I don't see any usefulness of the app since it uses data connection.

Bradley Kieser

So easy to use!

Christian Liguori

Incredible This is innovation..

Georgie Orman

Great Chrome extension also available. Should make sharing much easier.

David Gilson

Didn't work with pasted urls

Stephen Kucksdorf

Causes weird media playback issues When listening to podcasts/audio book/music this app may cause the media volume to go from full volume to 1/3 the total volume. It also occurs from completely muted to 1/3. I have seen this on Galaxy S4 and moto e 2nd gen with stock roms on both. Issue occurs when switching WiFi to cellular, cellular to WiFi and sometimes cellular to cellular network changes.

Youssef Abada

i see the future here really i love it

hasham zahid

New tech its awesome

Baraka Andrew

Ohh I know what u did there So basically you are uploading the image to the server then transmitting the url via sound, thats it. Nice try! Would have loved to see a completely internet independent solution though.

Austin Rowe

Cool idea but very buggy

Peter Whidden

Does what it says
