Chemist is your portable chemistry lab. It’s the only virtual chemistry lab for tablets to conduct chemistry experiments, explore chemistry reactions with different lab tools. Try mixing chemicals by pouring them into beakers or test tubes. You can also heat the chemicals with a bunsen burner, or put a piece of cesium into water.

In Chemist, you can pour chemicals into beakers, mix them and then use the burette with the suck-and-release action as you would in real life. The 3D stage enables the parallax effect from different angles, so you can do everything as if you are in a real lab.

Chemist has a built-in database with more than 200 chemical reagents. What’s more, additional chemical reagents will be added periodically through the online database CloudLab for more unprecedented chemical reactions.

Conduct dangerous experiments without worrying about breaking beakers or getting cut by broken glass. To avoid explosions and be able the see the reactions of the chemicals without breaking the containers, turn off the Explosive option to disable all explosions.

Use Label tool to trace the accurate mass, temperature, density and volume of every substance in containers as the reactions are happening. Or simply tap on a chemical reagent to read the basic information about it.

Use different tools to measure more than one beaker at the same time. Or invite a friend to hold a thermometer for you while you are mixing the chemicals. Share your discoveries with others through the web browser so they can see them anytime, anywhere.

Very Good I love this app. It's nice to just mess about with, but at the same time you learn things. It could do with more updates and possibly even more elements, reactions and chemical compounds. There could be an addition of some radioactive elements, and show how they affect different compounds and elements when they come into contact with them. One problem, which is that I can't for the life of me get the tubes/pipes to work, as they just stop any chemical reactions from happening. But great app overall.

Randomness Ofthefutile

Good, but some issues The overall app is enjoyable, however there were some issues. For example on my Samsung galaxy tab s, the basic reagent information didn't pop up when I clicked on the item.

John Ng

Good, but: Not built for phones, can't zoom and everything is too small. Also, the screen ratio is buggy for wider screens.

Chris Higham

Got me own mad scientist lab! After many attempts I can conclusively state; the mushroom cloud isn't available in this version. It's all good fun and it's creating a scientific interest in my daughter. There's a bit of fun for the whole family, who can get the most shattered glass in one minute...

whyyougotta putaname

Good It's really fun but I think there should be different reactions than the container just exploding. :)

Chris Alli

Dissapointed Cannot make potassium iodide. Some reactions do not even work.

Deon Murray

It's great How do I get th e bigger plug??

Bima Adjie

Seriously hated it Please redesigned it, I hate round shape.

Kirsty Bailey

Improvement needed. Such as periodic table to check reactivity. And Flame tests to work etc.

Jim Beam

Make more games use make good games

Евгений Воронцов

Охуенчик Please add more

Joel Koldewey

Has alot of potential Alot of bugs

Abdon Ferreira

Great App Everything in the app looks beautiful and well thought out. I did like the new lab procedure option since it helps to see if I followed certain procedure correct. Everything in the lab runs as it should. This is one of the best apps on android for chemistry students and teachers. Could more instruments be added?

Isabella Stefanova

Improved The wide screen makes it easier to see what is going on in the app. Also, the subscripts of the chemical formulas are now visible, allowing for an easier time in performing chemical reactions. However, some reactions seem not to take place, even though they are listed... Either way, very good update overall!

Gabriel Barnes

Wide screen!!! Great now wide screen function has been added! Works a treat on my nexus 7 :)

nicholas Martin

Needs all chemicals Missing a few chemicals as well as missing some reactions. Like aqua regia.

Basem fares

Missing tools & formulas. The app gets stuck sometimes.

Outstanding Excellent app. Can't put it down. Keep up the good work.

James Turner

Love it Keep it up

David Methe

Buggy but functional Every thing works but is quite buggy in the process, very interesting little app regardless

Katie Malburg

Very helpful for homeschoolers I really love this app! But it won't let me add/use some of the tools. Also I'd like to see additional tools and I would like to see the names/capacities of the beakers etc. W/out getting the beaker out and testing it. Please update and I can give this app 5 stars!

Not start, white screen It's a very application, but on my Nexus 5 with Android L, the application doesn't start... I have only a white screen :/

kirill kulakov

Designed for iOS The idea is great but it is poorly ported to Android, some of the ui is too small on nexus 7, and its not even full screen. Hope there is going to be an update. Otherwise, the app is great

Gabriel Mohamed

Yay? The app is a nice idea. But it always freezes, so i have to uninstall and reinstall it.

Dan K

Amazing, but... I love this application because it gives an absolute freedom in the world of Chemistry. Yet... could you please make it HD? It looks a bit square-shaped on my HTC One M8.

Kaleb Kent

AWSOME I love this app highly suggest it for anyone who likes mixing chemicals and watching the reactions

Daniel Roush

Looks good! I'm downloading it right now it looks awesome!

Rp Peens

Good app Freezes sometimes and reset button won't work. Great idea

Gino Salvia

Chemist Brilliant!!!!!

ryan crowe

Chemest is awesome

Danielo Silva

No landscape Please add landscape view on Nexus 7! Refund?

Sebastian Evans

Good idea, poor execution. (note: Since I posted this review, THC had updated their descriptions to say the app is optimized for tablets, however when I downloaded it onto my android phone I it did not have this information. Keep in mind this is for a phone): Counter intuitive user interface. The bottles don't display their name until you tap them, and it's an overall not user friendly.

Justin Damian Malubay

add more reagents lack of simple organic compounds (e.g. benzene, ethanol) accounts for the 4-star review, nonetheless, near to perfect, kudos!

Ben Cook

Good This app is great as it has many chemicals to mess around with however there are only three reactions, bubble, fire or break glass which occur but apart from that it's a fun app to use.

Lugia Productions

Recommended Chemist App This is one of the best chemistry app I have ever experienced. I had learned every single element and its compounds' properties. HOWEVER, I have experienced an annoying glitch where any liquid (besides water) starts to increase in volume when I tried to freeze it by a freeze wand. Besides that, a very terrific science app.

Andrea Stevenson

Wont work on galaxy tab3 Looks amazing but, i cant play.

Chris Edgington

Ripoff=broken+no support Well presented scam. Glitchy. Creator has shifted focus to apple users and appears to have no plans to update android. No update in 7+ months while apple has had 2 since. Wasted $, stick with free version.

Christopher toft

Very intriguing

Jakob Turner

Disappearing things... This is probably one of the best games, but the elements are disappearing, even though I have bought the full version... Am I doing something wrong?

Kenn William Ko

Not suitable for mobile phones! At least please put zoom feature because the text is too small and it's difficult to maneuver around.

Dale Cook

Eh It's great, and does what it says, I can understand some of the reactions not yet being programmed in yet, however an update on the UI would be appreciated, very difficult to use but it still entertains me

Fred Cooke

Hi Google. We are the kind of people who buy most paid apps. Please remove this trash can from the market, before they continue stealing others money. This messy app has no value to pay $4.99. I ready nee a refund. Uninstalled.

Mike Williams

Pretty cool but really needs more chemicals like ammonia , pot nitrate , all the good ones are missing

Godwyn Idris Lozada

It's good, but why not...? Why not add organic reactions (at least some)? While I can perform reactions, the set of glassware isnkt complete. Moreso, some reactions are incorrect, like burning of sodium gives off sodium peroxide instead of sodium oxide... flaws functionally insignificant but enough to give am incomplete experience.

Ivy Dex

Excellent, just freezes sometimes!

Has potential There is a lot to do and a lot you can't. some things needed are saving reactions so you can pick them up later and maybe a reaction predictor so you don't have to have a static library of every known reaction

alexander jefferson

Chemist Almost every reaction I have tried isn't included, and the graphics are really glitchy. It's also impossible to use on a small device, and the controls are extremely fiddly to try to pour and often when you try to move things around, they get stuck and won't move any further. I'd greatly appreciate a refund.

Henry Dekastrozza

This could be a great App But it has some bugs that need fixing. I paid for this as well as others, so update it please .

Isaac White

Neat app It use a few color changes and some enlargement in some areas but i find it an interesting because of the simulation of what happens when mixing certain chemicals .

Yejun Jang

... This is a cool app, but not that good... It's too buggy and it's hard to anything on a small phone...
