Carla and Leo’s World of Dance is a magical, 3D experience that takes young readers on a journey through the origins of ten different styles of dance.

The enhanced eBook, adapted from the original hardcover story, is seen through the eyes of two inquisitive 10 year olds, Carla and Leo. Their voices are narrated by NBA superstar Baron Davis and film actress/model Devon Aoki.

Carla and Leo’s World of Dance begins at a dance school owned by the beautiful Miss Paulina, who leads Carla and Leo on a worldwide tour of ballroom dance. Their journey covers ten styles: the waltz, foxtrot, swing, merengue, mambo, cha cha, rumba, salsa, tango, and samba. For each style, Miss Paulina provides its cultural and geographical origin as well as rhythmic step patterns.

In the enhanced eBook each page has its own distinctive look, feel and sound that evokes the vivid story behind each dance.

Very Good Quality I'm a dance instructor and one of my students recommended this book. I was blown away with the quality of the dances and the accuracy of how the characters conducted the different dances. Definitely check out the FoxTrot and the Salsa!

High Quality Experience I purchased this app for one of my kids and it's hands-down the best quality interactive ebook in the app store. The animations are movie-like and the voice overs are great. I think Baron Davis is in there! Looking forward to the next book.
