Too slow I wanted this app for extra features like measuring food by weight and whatever else it may have, but I couldn't get past how slow it was to find out its other features. Uninstalled.

Heisler Family

Immediately deleted - must create an account Most calorie apps have given the option for creating an account but this app won't even let you passed the login screen. I don't mind creating an account IF there is a value add for me but until I'm happy with the app I'm not interested in having a potential ghost account roaming out there.

Peter Andro

Junk Must create and account and even when create using Google+ doesn't let me in. Basically just steals data from your account and doesn't give anything in return. Uninstalled.

Andrew Carter

iPhone version MUCH better I just switched back to an android phone from the iPhone, and the Droid vs of this app is no where near as convenient. The super quick and easy barcode scanning and logging feature almost never works, so I end up just adding calories for almost all my food, which defeats the nutritional features of the app. Please update / fix or I might have to switch apps after using for years.

Ashley June

Needs improvements I wish the app included features the site does. Tho the site on mobile is ridiculous to use. I want to see polyunsaturated fats and OUNCES instead of grams. I want a way to add my vitamin and to see how much Vit D and biotin I get weekly and daily instead of just A.

Lyn Battersby

Not a full experience The app is okay, but I find it annoying that I can't add recipes or call upon recipes I have input on the PC version. Recipes are an integral part of eating, so having access to them on the app would be beneficial.

Darren Blinkhorn

Review Very poor app. Every time I tried to log on it kept telling me there was errors and o would be left for ages wondering if it was going yo log me on.

Sheila Rabant

Love it Everything I want and need but wish I could add goals from the app, must go to the website to do that. An option for custom goals would make this so much better than just having choose from the ones listed. Cant save a custom activity to favorites. The points redeeming is nonsence because they are outdated or make you pay for shipping. Love the virtual rewards though! Will not let me completely start over either. Love everything else! Love camp! Oh the developers do not respond to anything though.

Kim Letkeman

very much Improved, but activity search is broken I should have updated this a while ago. The application now has an excellent search function for foods, but very weak for activities. Hence, no 5 stars. Example: I search for "snow" because I've been blowing snow all day ... only snow shoeing comes up, because it only looks for the search term at the beginning of the activity. So "operating snow blower" never comes up. This is a serious rookie mistake. Anyway, it is otherwise excellent and I highly recommend it. But until search works, you are better off using the web page, which searches very well, for your activities.

Van Golden

Can't even log into account Created account using Google plus, then app just stays on log in screen. Can't get it to do anything. Terrible.

Aurélie M

Couldn't indicate my weight to the app. Not here to make a precision contest with my finger. Tried for 5 minutes! Then gave up.

Erica Huipio

A great help Fantastic app Helps me keep track of all my food choices. While I was on this app ~2 yrs. Ago I lost weight. Now that I looked back into it I realized all the track records of which guide me into healthy focused life style.

Abbie Lomason

Good app that needs improvement Sometimes the app refuses to load and must be reopened. Also some of the caloric values for food are off by about 20 or so calories. Overall a wonderful app that makes weight loss very easy. It would also be nice if the analysis included more things, such as potassium and other vitamins. Also, the weight chart is very hard to read.

Candice Karch

My new best friend is a app I'm 58 so electronics aren't second nature for me. This great app is so easy to understand. And the menu of food to assist your log has a lot of items to choose from. You can make your own list with package information. I love how I can log my food in so easy. I Looking up foods is simple. The best part is the when you check the analyze part. It tells you what your high in like, vitamin A or fat and what you need more of, Iron or fiber. I will use this app as long as it is available. LOVE THIS FREE APP.

Jasmine Ready

Very useful and easy! Really appreciate the variety of foods to add to the log. Love the calorie counting aspect. Having trouble entering the weight, however. Seems glitchy. Pls fix? : )

Natasha Sarah Clark

Pretty good but has issues I love using this app most of the time but if my food isn't on here it doesn't allow me to add anything to the database. I have to try and find other foods to compensate but it's never the same nutrition facts so my analysis is off. That's pretty disappointing but otherwise I highly recommend this app. It also tends to have issues with the bar code scanner and for many months it wouldn't allow me to add foods to my "favorites" category. If these could be fixed for everyone that would be wonderful.

Crystal Atizado

sucks on Android I've used this app for couple years on my iPhone, and it helped me get back into shape by watching what I eat after I had my son. Unfortunately when I switched to Android the app is nowhere near as convenient and easy to use. Disappointed. Please fix this!

Alexander MacKinnon Roehrs

Does not work in metric system When it works with systems used in this century, I will give it a go. For as long as I'm not required to create an account.

Harry Harker Jr.

Complete CRAP! Deleted immediately, MUST create an account. Can't even look around to see what it looks like and how things work. Don't waste your time.

Sam James Williams

Brilliant Excellent app for keeping track of daily intake and balancing diet! only problem is in the analysis of the day it shows a total of carbs, protein, fats etc but not sugar which when youre trying to measure your total sugar intake isn't very useful. If you could add a total sugar count to the analysis section this app would be perfect

Brad Heinle

Needs the use of recipies There is no way to create, manage, or log your recipies as a meal from the app. You can from the website, but logging on from a desktop at every meal isn't practical and makes the app completely worthless.

Jennifer Raye

Awesome and great help! This apparently makes tracking you daily intake so easy. Really nice when you are on a complex diet that has lots of requirements.

Alexander Popov

By far the best calorie counter app I really don't understand why so many comparison reviews simply omit this app. It is by far the best calorie counter app I have used. Its diverse functionality, rich interface, perfect syncing between desktop and mobile version are not match by any of the competition. Hope more people discover it soon.

Joseph Hewes

Well... This app is all good and everything until I realized that it was telling me what I can and can't do. I know there are health risks involved with losing a weight in a short period of time but it is doable very easily and the app shouldn't stop me from putting what ever goal I want in. A simple warning would have done the trick but stopping me all together from putting the weight lose goals I want is just frustrating now instead of aiming for 1000 calories I have to aim for 1500 which isn't what I want.

Andy Black

Good (with a few gaps) I am a diabetic, so it would be really helpful to see food intake alongside blood sugar levels. Also, when adding a bar code food the serving can only be entered as grams. Useless for drinks except water . I like the activity (i.e. exercise! ) Good overall and I continue to use it daily with uploads to linked social site.

Vic Zinc

Perfect Unobtrusive ads. Turn off the social interaction piece. Nothing fancy. Download the scanner and scan what you eat. Huge database with most store brands included. OK so it is missing some features, who cares? It doesn't ask for your credit card or even your address. Best free app I ever used as far as intruding on my privacy goes.

Tressa Roberts

Need the ability to add more meals This app had everything I need, except the ability to add more meals. Lame!

Nicola Ryan

So disappointed I have used this app on a couple of occasions with great success. But since the iPhone update this app is missing fields for accurate food entries. I emailed support but nothing has been done about it, so I am deleting and losing 10 weeks worth of data. So so disappointed

Christian Bauer

Crap Requires account and too many permissions, you bet they vacuum up your data.

Irene Banak

Can't get past the home screen I downloaded and nothing on the home screen would budge...I couldn't sign up! Whatever! Useless! Deleting...

Chris Berwick

Great app I've used the pc version for some time. Mobile app is just as good. Yes, it does require registration, but that allows you access to community features. Recommend.

Jessica Shattuck

Ummm... Signed up. Wouldn't let me sign in. Tried again. Wouldn't let me sign in. Tried logging in with facebook. Wouldn't let me sign in. Tried with google+. Wouldn't let me sign in. Fine, you won't let me sign in the first time I try to use it, I'll delete it.

Margaret Schirmer

I am a hot 70 and and even I could install this, I am so proud of myself. I have lost 2.5 lbs in 2 wks. Keep on keeping on guys and gals!!!

Ria Ludemann

Horrible ui So difficult to add custom food, delete food, even letting the complete day button has no confirmation or indication anything happened! Ads are slow to pop up, so you end up accidentally clicking the wrong thing.

Lucky DeKarlo

Enjoying so far... I like this calorie counter so far. It's very easy to navigate and keep track of your caloric intake. In the Analysis, I think it would be a good idea that each category on the nutrition spread have a drop down list of foods to eat to help reach the desired goal. . . so the protein could have a drop down list with fish, chicken and so forth.

Colleen Lloyd

Okay Bar code scanner doesn't recognize anything. Also, all foods are graded which is a great concept. Except almost everything I put in is graded C or worse.

Michelle Cooper

This is the most accurate of them all I have tried all of the apps for calorie tracking, this one is my favorite. It lets you add vitamins and supplements and it gives you a full nutrient report at the end of the day. The others just give fat and calories. There's more to food intake than that.

Ben Treat

A bit buggy, but decent A pretty good calorie counting app, but has a few bugs. Analysis tab displays wrong information, and a few other problems that hamper functionality. Galaxy s5

Johana Villavicencio

Delete Account. I want to delete my account but I don't know how to. Can anyone help me please?

Denise S

Needs Major Improvements Most common foods are not listed in the database, and I have discovered that some foods that are listed are inaccurate regarding carbs and other nutrients. Quality control is much needed.

Lisa P

Metric system is essential. I wanted to resume using your app but noticed that you had removed the metric system from user profile. This doesn't work for me.

So Helpful! If you're good at counting calories and sniping nutritional information, this app will do little more. However, this is great because numbers in front of me drive me the most to succeed. Great app!

Alexandria Snider

Not enough in database This had been my favorite calorie counting app for years. However it hasn't updated it's database as much as others have and I don't want to leave.. But I also want more option without having to manually enter it. But if you eat generic food all day than it's great!

Judith Koehn

Have been using it for years. Best app I've ever tried but room for improvement

Bethany Gillan

Freeplacement for Weight Watchers Online This keeps me on track. This website and app are awesome for me. I've been consistently using them for over a year. The Web features are even better bc I can see what nutrients I'm not getting enough of as well as easily calculate and save my recipes.

Eric Apfel

Feature rich, but slow and clunky Love the detail and features available in the app but there is just so so so much room for improvement. The lag is so bad sometimes I have to kill the app. Being able to create custom recipes online is great but hasn't made it to the Android app yet. Also, why can't I copy and paste a meal from one day to another? Why do my recipes from the internet not sync with the app? Did you fire your developers? Samsung Note 4

Melissa Robbins

This app just got deleted. I tried several times to create an account & was unsuccessful each time, would not let me create an account. Don't have time for the foolishness

Nils Warnken

You have subscribe to try it... I hate having to register to try... So they get your email address and do whatever with it. This is reason enough to uninstall right away.

Gregg Fry

Finally after effort created account They assign me the password I entered and instead emailed me & assigned me a 32 character password and I can't find anywhere to change it. No way will I ever remember a 32 character password! Not sure if this is just an app that is phishing for identities. I would highly stay away since you can't make password changes. Bummer, I really was looking for this app to work. I guess I should have read the other poor reviews first.

Ariel Walley

Overall great but missing a few important features... This app was great at first, but I eventually got frustrated with it. It has a vast database of foods to choose from, which was great, and is generally pretty easy to use. However, I wasn't able to go back and edit a custom food after accidentally entering the wrong amount, so I had to delete it and start over from scratch. I also couldn't add a photo of an item I scanned which wasn't in the database yet. Ran into a few error messages as well. Overall, it's a good app but it didn't work for me.

Unsupported for Fitbit Even though the site has a place for you to connect your fitbit it never seems to sync up. Please fix this. I left another site for yours because I like a lot of the features offered. Not being able to sync my fitbit might just be the deal breaker for me.

Brad Peters

It's not bad but missing important features I need to be able to put recipes that includes the calorie amounts of all the foods added together, I need to be able to set the serving size type to whatever I want (ex. Cup, piece, tsp, etc.) instead of just grams, and I need a more comprehensive scanner almost any food that isn't by some huge name brand will not come up and request that you make a custom food (which is annoying since you can't add a proper serving size), if all issues are addressed my review will change to a five

Amos Weeks

Too Whiny and Pickie At first I liked this app, but then it wore on my nerves. First of all I hated all the post that came up first with the app. A lot of people abscessing about eating a bite of a cookie and going over 1000 calories a day...give me a break. Then there were the grades...a lot of healthy items were given C or F. If you want A's you have to eat celery and drink water. This app should be renamed the "starving model app".

Kayla Chapman

Great app I love how I can keep up with my nutrition. Two things I think should be added are a long term chart where you can see your nutrition by the week or the month. I go through each day and mark everything on a piece of paper in order to find any trends for nutrients I get too much of or not enough. I also noticed there is no sugars on the analysis chart. I think this should be added. I found another app that tracks your sugar so do not use this one much. I love how I can track my water too. Other app doesn't.

Ryan W

6-15-15. Still junk. What's with the annoying disappearing reappearing ad at the bottom? As soon as you are about to log food, it appears and you inadvertently touch it causing your browser to open, kicking you out of the app which sends you to somebody's stupid website. Greed, I tell you.

James Rickabaugh

After signing up I was pleased with all aspects of this application. My main goal is calorie counting and for me it works ?

Ryan W

2-27-15. New bugs. What a surprise, haha! Not only when I add a new food to the database does it not show up even though it says it was successfully added, but I have not been able to submit my reports the last two nights. Says invalid form? I'm not doing anything wrong. Sounds like it's on your end guys. This app is so frustrating. I just wish it could work correctly for once in my entire life

Lance Banasky

Calorie Counter Needs some improvement, but for keeping track of my daily calories and carbs and protein intake it worked all right. Could use a update to fix some issues though.

Sydney Vanetten

Broken This app freezes, gets mixed up and has incorrect information out the wazoo. Always double check what you're putting in with Google because it will have your food 100 calories over on some, and 50 under on others.

Shauna M

Would give 5 stars if accurate Cons: nutrition info is wrong for most foods. The fact that containers with info clearly written on them somehow becomes wrong "in translation" makes me worried how screwed up produce, and and other foods which dont come with labels are. Also wish it select the type of diet and edit foods like website Pros: website and app are pretty well laid out and i like how it shows and compares nutrition intake vs goals for intake. Calories are not the only important thing!

Julie Moll

Hard to use For me seemed very clunky and limited to use - and what's with the grading on my food? I don't like seeing a B- on raw canteloupe - that is negative discouragement on a good food- raw organic fruit for breakfast 1 c., low in calories, good fiber and vitamin c ?? B minus? NO! deleted app.:(

Justin Bennett

Supportive Used for a week so far, and the only glitch I have seen, is that I have to hit analysis twice to get it to properly refresh. Speaking of which, the analysis log is my favorite tool. It let's me see the full breakdown of +- calories, nutrition and vitamins. The very best part is the grading scale. It gives each food a grade and also gives you an overall grade for how you did that day. I am competitive, so it forces me to strive for the A rank. It helps keep me motivated and focused.

David Hansen

Excellent database I am a diabetic looking for an app to help me track my carb intake. I've found the food database to be excellent. This app's activity log is very good but could be improved to include a pedometer or allow the user to enter steps for each day or distances. Since I'm a 67 yr old diabetic with heart issues, all I need is the steps feature. I would also like to see the app track sleep time. Otherwise, this is an excellent app to consider.

Dave Oberlander

Used to be good, not anymore Ive used and preferred this app a while ago and loved it. But now it looks much different, and focus seems to be shifted from the purpose (to help you track calorie intake, etc) and shifted to social media. This makes everything take forever to load and the most useful section of the app (food/exercise logger) became super buggy where it should be the strongest. I don't care about a food camp, I just want to track my calories and exercise. Uninstalling.

Pamela Jones

Update, 1 to 5 stars. They fixed my issue here and on the website! Facebook connect won't work on app and that's my login at the website. I disconnected app from Facebook and used the forgot password link and never received the reset email. I tried multiple times. I checked spam folders. I've reinstalled twice and now uninstalled twice.

Peter Donahue

Works well for me and I like that food contain a weight do I can measure how much I'm eating. Update: Started showing me annoying and intrusive ads. Not good. Would be 5 star if they could get rid of ads after paying the remove ad fee.

Dawn Brown

Its ok if you have the patience Doesnt seem to b a better app but leaves too much guess work..the camp feed never loads since first installed

D. Theresa Dee

Not intuitive The sliders to input your height and weight are terrible. Also, I input my current weight and goal weight and somehow it still has my calories at 1700 per day ( when I know it should be around 1200).

Fearghal Donnelly

Only uses antiquated imperial measures Why would i want to know how many rocks or stones worth of food I ate? This pre-20th century app has no place on the Internet.

Meg Dean

The Website is Better Adding activities is very difficult in the app. On the website you can add a day of favorites wit 2 you have to do them 1 at a time. Also, you cannot access your recipes in the app.

Marissa Benson

ERROR I WOULD rate it 5 if you guys would fix the stupid invalid weight error. I entered my starting weight at 185 pounds and my goal weight at 170 pounds and the next three months and it's saying that it's invalid and that I have to mark my goal weight for March of 2024 and its 2016! I'm pretty sure it does not take 9 years to lose 15 pounds! Fix this setting because it doesn't matter what I change the weight settings to it does not allow me to set a goal weight!

Alyson Mejia

can't create a recipe The app works well, very easy to use. The Barcode scanner makes finding food ridiculously fast. Only problem is i can't create a recipe from the app. I will have to go onto the computer, which just makes it the slow, time consuming process. Please add an option to create recipes from the phone. Android Samsung S5 user.

crimson wolf

Uffff! Disappointed! Used for one day then decided not to open. Also when customising food more options for serving size or weight needs to be available. For example I would like the option to add ml's instead of just grams. Also international measuring needs to be available. Here in the uk we hardly use cup size. I mean what is the standard cup size for you Americans? A small tea cup or something bigger??

Louise Nuttall

Can't login! Have had this app before and found it really good for keeping track of what I'm eating as I'm cooking so I don't go over. Deleted it to make space but have slipped so reinstalled and now can't login with Fb like normal or using my username! Using an HTC desire 5

E. Fitzgerald

I used this aboutb 5 years ago. It took the boring task of writing things down. What appealed to me the most was the "grading system." It helped me with motivation.

Brett Meyring

Useless w/o recipes I use the online version which I like, but the app doesn't allow you to access recipes that you have created online, rendering the app pretty much useless for me.

Rebecca Cumming

Good but glitchy I've used this app since high school and recently it's been slow and doesn't refresh sections for a few minutes. There are also sections that completely refuse to load for me, and currently the app no longer works on my phone. It freezes after opening. The app would be a lot better if I could actually use it.

Brent L

Slow & activity not updated The exercises have nothin from the gym or crossfit. To generic. Show nothing for cleans, push press, deadlifts, thrusters, kettle ball swings, battle ropes.

Larry Dobbs

This program has several errors and will only lead to aggravation. Some of the features work flawlessly. Otherwise I would rate the application only as 1.

Tom Finucan

Garbage It works fine...when it actually works. I spent a stupid amt of time inputting items that weren't in the database only for them to save and show up in the list for use every once in awhile. Get the sparkpeople tracker, almost everything that wasn't in this database comes up in that one and it works way better. This one isnt worth your time. Uninstalling after I finish this review.
