Sync issues w/ Google Tasks Very good app by itself (just as its counterpart, Business Calendar), but I just can't make it sync properly w/ Google Tasks in my account. Neither task lists nor tasks themselves get synced: no errors are shown and no crashes whatsoever - but no sync is actually performed in either way. Will change the rating to a more favorable, if the forthcoming v1.5 fixes those issues.

Great app Love the customizing, and everything about this app. One thing, if I could just manually organize and reorder/sort the tasks on the widget I would be in heaven! I hope that might be added in future updates.

Best to do widget I taught a seminar on time management and tried every app available for managing to do lists. This is my favorite for several reasons: 1. It syncs with toodledo and Google tasks. 2. It allows you to check off completed tasks from the widget. 3. You can program advanced filters to show specific tasks on the widget. 4. You can set tasks to repeat on a calendar schedule or upon completion. I found no other app that would accomplish these 4 criteria.

Great app, bad syncing This is my favorite tasks app, but I cannot rely on it as it doesn't synchronize with Google Tasks correctly. In fact it doesn't synchronize at all ... Lost a whole list of undone tasks due to this problem.

Won't sync with Google. Will give it 5 stars when it syncs with Google. It's frustrating working from my tablet then having to grab my phone when I need to review/edit my list. The app itself is pretty good but the integration with business calendar is what makes this app work.

Widget not so hot I want to be able to fit on my home screen the 4x3 Business Calendar widget and a 4x1 Business Tasks widget; I can do this with Any.Do, but Business Tasks won't go any smaller than 2x2. Furthermore, the font size and style is harsher on the eye and there's no customization options. Finally, the task widget header is entirely to bulky for a task just doesn't look good or make sense compared to the Business Calendars widgets. Have to stick with Any.Do until this one gets cleaned up and polished.

Unsupported now? I'm a long term user of this app, and a big fan, but it now seems abandoned. Sync is not reliable and that is a deal breaker. Such a shame. I love their Calendar app too, but they are standing still and being overtaken.

What happened?! Been using this for quite awhile with Business Calendar pro and realized today that tasks on my phone have not been syncing with Google Tasks ( I almost never use Google Tasks on the web & instead do everything through this app). I signed out of each of my accounts and then signed back in and found all the current tasks on the phone have been overwritten with Google tasks from 4-5 months ago after syncing. Also all recurrences and list colors in the app were changed as well. This is not good - I'd love an

Can't synch between tablet and phone This is a shame as this is otherwise a sold app with a good looking interface. I am hoping the new version 1.5 is rolled out soon but looking at some of the reviews here I am not too hopeful.

List sharing and secondary sort? I love this app's functionality and I use it daily for managing all my tasks. I would REALLY love if I could share my lists! Is this something slated for a near-future version? If not, would you consider adding it? Also, I would love to have a secondary sort option. It would be great if I could sort my tasks by date, then by priority. (If there already is one, then I haven't figured it out yet).

won't synchronise after using Ultimate Todolist I use several task management tools, but stick with this one because of the neat way of postponing overdue tasks. However since I started using the Ultimate Todolist, this app will no longer sync with google tasks. I wonder if it could be to do with the fact that the Ultimate Todolist adds its own data at the end of a google task. Please fix this as I sadly miss Business Tasks.

Fantastic... But Also i think there should be some long press options for editing lists. Clean intuitive great work. I use business calendar also and have been waiting for this. Keep developing! When it comes out of beta will gladly pay. Add: repeating tasks, collapsible subs, more easily moving from list to list AND quick entry and you'll get 5 stars

Disappointed Was originally very impressed with this app and the way it synced across all my devices. I upgraded to Cal Pro, and since then (don't know if the timescale coincided) the sync facility has disappeared. New/changed tasks appear on Cal Pro, but stay only on the device used. I emailed the developer but received no response. I'm awaiting update to see if problem fixed, but lack of feedback is disappointing.

Really waiting for 1.5. Sync issues keep occurring. I'm really waiting for version 1.5. to come out, so these issues can be resolved. Until that time this app is a good tool for local use on your phone, but that just isn't what most people are looking for - which is a real shame, seeing how their calendar client is the best in the store, and this add-on would keep it even further ahead of the competition.

Lollipop Crashes Since my Note 3 lollipop upgrade, Business Tasks continually crashes. It Still sync's, but crashes. Also crashes when creating a new task. Please fix this. None of the other Google task apps work as well for me

Persistent Sync Issues To fix sync: In settings, log out your account, then log back in. IMPORTANT: you will loose any data on your mobile device dated after your Google Tasks. This app is better as a “device only” app.

Best of breed but... I've used the same Google Task organizer for years until I had to switch phones and found it was no longer available. After an exhausting search, downloads and trials for a replacement, I must say I like this one the best. One small improvement that I had on my original and found it essential was the ability to collapse sub items into the parent items for a quicker, cleaner view and organization tool. I'd add that 5th star if you could show me that feature.

Looks as though this has been replaced by Biz Cal 2 It looks as though Appgenix has stopped supporting this app. But the tasks function has now been folded into the main calendar app in Business Calendar 2. You have to go into the settings in BC2 and enable tasks, but once you've done that, the tasks function seems to work well.

Useless Without Sync Used to be a great app. The last version was out in January and mentioned working on new version to improve syncing with Google tasks. Where is it? There is no syncing at all with Google tasks - other task apps can; why not this one?

It has suddenly stopped sync'ing I used to love Business Tasks which I got when I bought Business Calendar Pro. But over the last week it has stopped synchronising. Not just the odd task but anything and everything: lists and tasks. I really hope v1.5 fixes this as apart from the Sync problems it is by far the best task management app out there.

Multiple accounts! I love that I can conceptualize my daughter's tasks with my own. I would like access to attachments, too. It's a primary reason I use ToodleDo. No control over notifications with sync issues leaves this generally unfriendly.

BizTasks Not Living Up to it's Name Anymore Sync has not been working at all for a couple months now. Ready to switch to Gtasks again -- this app is useless if you need to access your tasks on your computer and/or tablet, which is what is needed for "business" purposes.

Fantastic but I do need help Powerful app if used with Business Calendar as add-on. But I found some features confusing at first and took some time to figure out. Ie. Should separate due date & reminder with reminder date followed by time will be clearer. I really like the repeat from completion option! Overall I love it! ?

Sync Issues - Business Tasks abandoned? As many reviewers commented, it would be a great app if the syncing would work properly. For me, it is touch and go. It stops syncing randobly, and then the only solution is to un-check syncing under General Settings, Accounts. In my correspondence from April 2014, tech support told me they are working on version 1.5, but 6 months from that, nothing happened. It seems to me that they just abandoned it.


Won't sync. Useless. iRT GTasks outliner works. Love the calendar and would like to use this but it's broken and they clearly have no interest I'm fixing it. Thanks iRT!

Gr8, suggesting sorely required features.. This app meets all my needs, in conjunction with business pro. Some suggestions 1. A "repeat until" feature is sorely required.. repeat daily simply repeats until eternity, unless i delete the task.. 2. The calendar interface needs darker fonts for events and tasks. 3.will be great if you can add estimated and actual hours against tasks.. 4. As days pass, low pririty items will become high priorty. It will be good to have a feature to move item to the next higher priority at custom intervals. So they will start appearing in the right pririty bucket automaticaly. Please get this to sync with Local Sync - Outlook.

Does not sync with Toodledo! Please fix A potential brilliant piece of software. 'Business Tasks' could outdo all the competitors, as it's user-friendly and full of features. But the sync with Toodledo does not work a lot of the time :( This renders the app to be worthless for many users. Developers have been promising to fix the sync issues for several months now, and I sincerely hope they get around to it. Will get 5 stars from me when sync issue with Toodledo is fixed.

no OR combination between filters I like the app. But, one missing functionality breaks the deal for me. For smart lists, there is no OR combination between filters (it is always AND). For instance, I need a smartlist which picks all tasks from list1 and tasks from other lists only if they are due today. This seems impossible because there is no OR between 'list' filter and 'due date' filter. Please add this feature.

Not bad. But developer ignores problems reported in these comments. 1. Often doubles a task when configured to repeat. Possibly errors in syncing with Google. 2. I wish, in widget, the "today" tasks can be clearly identified at a quick glance. Such as an option to put a colored bar around each task dated today. If you have unfinished tasks from days ago, plus today's tasks, plus tomorrow's tasks, it's difficult to quickly find what is needed to be done today. Without erasing unfinished tasks of previous days. 3. Priority color/symbol for each task should be shown in widget

Love it! As long as it keeps syncing right this time! A functional mobile integration of a calendar and task list, sync'd with Google. It seems to work smoothy (especially slick when used with Business Calendar counterpart) but the sync has broken in the past, requiring a compete deinstallation, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5... I hope it stays working this time!

Excellent app with some issues Downgraded from 5 to 3 stars. Was frustrated by Any.Do not syncing properly with Google Tasks. Business Tasks has a nice, clean interface, nice simple widget. It syncs well with Google Tasks as long as you just sync a single app. I've tried syncing using the app on my phone and tablet but it gets confused easily. I have never gotten the recurrence to work with "from completion date." However, recurrence works okay with "From due-date."

I would give 5 stars but this application does not give you a reminder notification like iPhone remimder tasks do. It should have a number of reminders that are pending on top of application so you see how many are pending to be completed every time you pass by application. I forget and the point of this application is to remind you so you don't miss out.

Sync problems Never had issues with business calendar pro and business tasks until I got a new phone. My tasks won't sync with my new phone. I had to uninstall even though I already purchased pro. Moving on, I I've purchased and now trying acalendar+

Like the app but... For many this will sound a little “old school” but for a few it may make sense. I really like this app. I’ve always thought Google tasks is poorly designed and lacking in functionality. This app syncs nicely with Google Tasks and adds some functionality. I love that I can add a contact to a task. I like the pop-up to quickly add a task after a missed call (although does this better IMO). Here are a couple of gripes: When I add a sub-task to a task with a due date it doesn’t appear under that parent task (when tasks are sorted by date), in the "master list." Nor do sub-tasks have any marking that they are a sub-task (not critical but I would prefer that). And here’s the old school: Some of us still use this thing they used to make called a PC. We use Outlook on a regular basis because we have multiple accounts to manage. I want a task solution to pull tasks from Hotmail, Outlook (local sync) and Google Tasks. Granted, this is a wish list item that goes to the core of the app and it’s nothing they (or seemingly anyone else), are claiming to do or even want to do. I rate this 3.5 but since I am not given that option I'm rounding up. (-:

Good features & works well with the best Calendar program! Got this due to their calendar program which is the best I've seen after looking at MANY different ones. This program is great on its own merits. Can prepopulate the due date to a chosen default # of days ahead, but doesn't intefere with setting date on new tasks. Really easy button to postpone a task due today by an adjustable default (1-3 days) later. Can have different task lists. Good control of how you sort & view your tasks, and can jump to different sort views. Works well w/ google tasks/cal.

Abandon App I have used and loved this app for years. Now it hasn't been updated in over 2 years, and it finally stopped syncing with google tasks. This makes it almost worthless for me. Too bad. I tried their Business Calendar 2, but didn't care for it. Time to look for a new task manager. :-(

Hi, I am having a problem with the syncronisation of this app with an Exchange account. The active sync client picks up the task (I can see them on the stock Samsung S planner, but nor on Business tasks and neither on the business calender pro I purchased.. It is a fine application but without proper syncronisation it becomes useless.

Great concept but just missing some I like that you don't have to sync if you don't want to, or make an account. The interface is nice, but there are two areas this fails. You cannot mark the task as done by the lock screen. Also if you add a sub task, it doesn't get the due date of the parent, so if you do a sort, the sub tasks get lost

It's ok but I can't get it to sync with none of my Google, Microsoft, or any other task apps. Having to constantly go back and forward to this app us a no-no for me when I'm in a meeting or on a conference call. I need to be able to get to what I need to get to without having to constantly search for this app and wait for it to open. Also, I can't email directly from this app either.

Almost Perfect, you nailed it but.... Only free task list widget that comes with checkboxes that is fully customizable. BUT Make tasks sync with more third party apps like Trello (editor's choice) & Todoist. Or at least make it Google now compatible. As Google tasks is gonna be shelved soon. If Google now integration happens It will become the only platform where google now reminders and google tasks can be viewed on the same transparent now is the future guys.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED I gave this PP 5 STARS because it is solid, and the feature set is rich. It works with GOOGLE TASKS and TOODLEDO ... the 2 programs that I needed it to work with. With GOOGLE TASKS you have a reliable BACKUP, with TOODLEDO you don't. I forgot to BACKUP TOODLEDO, which I had since 2008, then I purchased an APP called TODO TASK PRO. For the first time in years an APP deleted my TOODLEDO DATA. TODO TASK PRO is more powerful than I thought. After going to TOODLEDO and finding NOTHING I was able to use this APP to restore my toodledo content. I was impressed. 5 STARS impressed

Great app! This app would be perfect if the user could prioritize tasks manually - on the fly - with drag and drop. In my opinion, this is the only missing feature. I realize this feature was added to the task categories, but can it be added everywhere - or at least to the Today section? If there are a lot of things that need to be done in a single day while out on errands I need to be able to manually arrange the order so that nothing is missed.

This really needs multiple choice for snooze times for alerts not all or nothing for a group of totally different alerts. Snooze time on TAKE MY PILL might be fifteen minutes. Best Google task app out there ---- PROS ---- Easy to switch between accounts. Smart lists are a great feature to have. Pop-up reminders! ---- CONS ---- No option to view subtasks in main task list. Really needs backup to SD. If you uninstall the app you'll lose all smart lists, repeat tasks and settings. DOESN'T SYNC TOODLEDO REPEAT ---- Along with this and their calendar app, you have the best organization package. I've tried a dozen task apps and keep coming back to this one.

Well thought out As of April 2015 it synchronized to my Google tasks just fine. I like the subtasks features. The widget is good on my tablet. Haven't played with calendar sync yet (premium feature?) but syncing easily to the native calendar would give it 5 stars for me. I think the "best" task organizer is the one that works the way you think. This one is pretty close for me.

Loving this so far. I only started using this today but I'm loving this so far. Since Yahoo shafted Astrid I've been looking for a good task app. Have been disappointed with Wunderlist and's interface and functionality. I'm really liking this one's interface. Haven't tried syncing with gmail, or my other devices, so I'll have to see how that goes. Will update as I further explore the app. P.S., Get Business Calendar pro. Great app and well worth it, which is why I tried this.

Found my Google task app despite sync complaints. I manually syncwith no issues until they fix with the new version I played with it for a while and really like it. Sub tasks are awesome. Having trash with restoration is just genius. I'm a long time bcpro user don't care for bc2 at least not yet. Use manual sync until they fix it and you should be happy. Quick adds are simply super. Missing email capabilities to email single task or entire list. ?

Good but not so perfect like Biz Cal Pro BizCalPro is a work of art and works perfectly with all kinds of calendar servers, but this addon unfortunately is limited to Google & ToodleDo. It's a bummer it doesn't support Exchange, I'd love to see it coming one day, and pay for it, since my main accounts are on Exchange. But for what it does, it does good. Stable, small and nifty app.

No longer works - used to be great Business Calendars, Appgenix other Android software, is my go-to appointment application. It works wonderfully. Business Tasks was a natural add-in and enormously helpful. So its with no small amount of disappointment that I find that the tasks no longer sync with Google. This is a critical function of the application. Until Google synchronization is restored, best to avoid Business Tasks altogether.

Almost perfect There is a commendable level of design that went into this app. I recommend it to everyone. One major issue though: *sync with Google tasks not working. Google now can't add tasks and won't read them. *minor issue, tasks can't be checked off from business calendar agenda widget. *minor issue, would be nice for calendar appointments to be automatically made into tasks as well for easier management and confirmation. .

Sync doesn't work / tech doesn't respond Can't sync phone to tablet using google account. Tries to sync when told to, nothing happens. No crash, error message, neither device changes. Last update v1.4.9 dated 1/15/2014 stated "currently working on v 1.5 with much improved synchronization". 8 months ago. Nothing from tech support requests either - no response.

Average app Best part is that it integrates well with the Biz Calendar app. But the widgets are not so well done. Why not at least make the Biz Cal Agenda widget and the Biz Tasks widget look thematically the same? Currently they lack consistency between the two, and could be easily remedied with a minimal amount of effort: headers the same size, setting icons the same, etc.

Just downloaded... All looks good. Love the layout... Looks very polished, just like the calendar app that I have used (Pro) and loved for several years. Only problem seems to be that if you set a recurring task on one device, it doesn't carry over to another one. Its a Google Task thing, but it could be a deal breaker for some.

Has improved much... Used it a couple of years ago. Was still rough around the edges then. Reinstalled after deciding to move away from G Tasks. And I like the improvements. Feels more robust, configurable & as a business calendar user, feels right at home. While the interface may not be as snazzy & cool as Any.DO's, it does synch well with Google tasks. Great job!

Nice has the features people need This program has indents, but you need to edit the task and add it - clue: its called sub-task and its located at the bottom of the edit page. I will say indenting tasks is not as easy as some other programs and this program could use some refinements. Giving five stars because it has the feature that others say it doesn't. Ver. 1.4.9

Had to change from 5 star to a 1 star It doesn't use the toodledo start date or star fields at all. Both of which are handy. What really kills this app is that if you edit the the list/category field of a task, it blows away the task and creates a new one. Then all said unsupported fields are created with blank information. Therefore you lose important data. Who knows what other task information you will lose when you edit a task with this app. Great app otherwise, I'd go back if above was changed.

Good start, needs work Needs some work that doesn't seem to get done, the app is barely advancing: Lists/contexts are too hard to switch, there is no start date. There are virtually no options (I would like to hide some fields - GTD doesn't need priorities, for example) and the app has too much white space.

Great app One of the best apps for organizing your life. Key features are: - sync with Google tasks, - smart filters. The rest is also handy, nice looking and convenient. There are some minor bugs, but these are insignificant and I will report them along with some features request through email.

A good start, but playing catch up. Business Calendar is incredible due to its wealth of customizations in both the app and widget. This app, while clean, lacks customization in either. Too much whitespace, inability to change font size, and no way to remove checkboxes mean you have to dedicate nearly an entire screen to make the widget useful. The integration with Business Calendar is first-rate, and the interface is decent. But, the widget needs a lot of work, and we need more control of the interface.

Devs, listen up! Allow users to clear completed tasks but not delete them. Google tasks are cleared and archived. You only allow deletions which means they disappear completely. Please add a clear setting so that we can remove completed tasks from our field of view without losing them permanently. Thank you.

Love affair over? Love Business Calendar ... eagerly awaited the Task add-on. Have tried to integrate with Google with little luck. Just recently added tasks (using the app) on one device and will not sync with other devices. There's no documentation on the website, so can't really troubleshoot.

EXCELLENT ADD ON TO CALENDAR APP!! Using Samsung Note 10.1, 2014 edition tablet. Was tired of using Evernote to manage tasks. Nothing wrong with Evernote, great program....but I wanted 1 program to handle my calendar and tasks. This app is easy to use, and I love the fact that tasks show up on your calendar. Only improvement I can see would be the ability to drag tasks to a different folder. You can edit the task and change folders, but drag & drop would be cooler! Nice job!

I LOVE the app, but... It keeps crashing on my new Galaxy S6 and I can't get it to sync. I've tried a bunch of other task list apps and this one is the best by far, but now it's crashing everytime I use it. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but since sync isn't working it was a pain to recreate all of my entries. If I have to uninstall it again, I'll have to use something else at least until the next update. :(

Was sold for 1yr but SEVERE sync issues now Cannot afford to miss tasks because of tech issues. Contacted company with no response and they've not acknowledged (accepted responsibility for) a problem. Because of a lack of company integrity, adios Business Calendar 2. Digical+ is serving me well at this point with no reliability issues.

I don't currently recommend this app, but I really want to do so. The widget is very good. It looks as good as Business Calendar Pro, but syncs nothing on my tablet. Initially, it synced on my phone and to my computer, but it unfortunately stopped thereafter. Please fix this; I certainly need this app to function between devices.

Amazing App But No View On Icon This app is truly amazing in terms of customization. My only grief is that you can't see how many tasks are upcoming/due on the icon (like you can on Google tasks). 5 star app but have to rate it 4. Please add icon integration!

Good app, but STILL doesn't sync with Google tasks at all Uninstalling as it seems the dev has abandoned it. They've been 'working on version 1.5 with much improved sync' since Jan 2014. Real shame because there are some lovely features in the app and it has by far the best widget I've found, but it got to the point where I need sync more than those features...

Good but... I used to use the Calendar App that comes with the Note 3, I gave business calendar a try and loved it, so I bought the pro to be able to transfer my tasks, but apparently they don't sync? I don't know if that's not featured or not, but it definitely should be. I don't want to recreate all my tasks in this app.

Some Issues, but decent Task management is decent. Tasks show on calendar if they have a due date, and they are mingled with calendar events if the tasks have a due time. Recurrence is highly configurable. Synchronization hardly works - lost my tasks when I signed the app off of my Google account with my Android 2.3 phone.
