Send music & playlists over bluetooth directly from one phone to another, just like a mixtape.
One of the "best new apps of the week" - Android Police (3/8/11)
You don't have to be a fan of the movie High Fidelity to remember the 80s and 90s culture of making mixtapes for friends.
Handwritten lists on the back of cassettes, CDs adorned with sharpie titles -- these things probably seem like distant memories in the digital age of MP3s, Pandora, iTunes and Amazon.
But our desire to share the music that inspires us, that makes us laugh, that moves us, never left. It's just the technology that surrounds how we interact with music, that has changed so rapidly in recent years.
BlueMuze aims to help bring back this ability. Transfer custom-made playlists, and the music files/MP3s that go with them, directly.
Select some songs, put them in the order you want, give your playlist a name, then send it.
BlueMuze has both a free Trial version and a Full version avaible on the market.
You will only ever need the Trial version to receive music.
To send music, you can use either the trial or full version but the trial is limited to sending 7 songs at a time.
Please feel free to leave suggestions in the comments or email me with feature ideas/requests/issues.
NOTE: You and you alone are responsible for following copyright laws in your country, state or jurisdiction.
Note: the playlist backup & restore is still in beta as a feature. Please let us know if you have any problems whatsoever. ***Please be sure to make extra backups of playlist files to you PC (just in case)***
1) A few users have reported not seeing playlists when flashing CM7 or FCs when restoring playlists.
- This issue may be resolved in 1.4.7. Please let us know if you continue to see this problem
2) Playlists created in Google Music Beta are not visible in BlueMuze.
- Unfortunately there is little we can do for this issue. All 3rd party music apps have this problem. This is because Google hides the playlists it creates.
We urge you to please write Google and ask them follow their own "open data" policies and allow playlists to be seen by other apps.

Testing Playerpro cannot save playlists made within its app. This reads and saves them. Playlists made within this app ARE read by playerpro. Great so far. Needs to cache music files though - takes a good 5 min to load 3000 songs into the app (the labels, not the files) everytime its opened. Will begin testing multi rom saving, titanium backups, etc... Awesome app so far
Switched SD Cards, backed up Playlist & Restored Love this feature of this software, Switched from a 32 to 64 MicroSD card, was trying to figure out how to get the playlists to transfer, this software did perfectly. I just backed it up from the old SD card, put in the new SD card and restored the playlists. Much easier than manually recreating the playlists. Thanks!
Does the job Copied songs and playlists from one device to another with little hassle.
From great to garbage... Was great for a handfull of songs and then all of a sudden diconnected the connection to my new phone and crashed. Ive tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it wont even open without crashing within the first 30 seconds. Back to the drawing board...
I would like a refund...keep forcing closed as soon as I start transfer...I want a refund...
Garbage Waste of time and money

Have used the trial version and felt the developer deserves me going for the paid one ... excellent app for moving music about .
Works perfectly xoom-> Droid x. Droid x -> zoom transfer using bluetooth
I really dig this app. Makes sending songs so easy and the playlist arranging features are way better that the stock music player. Moto Droid 1
This app is awsome. Makes transfering songs from my phone to my gf's phone very easy.
HTC sense F*ck#n bad application...don't waste your money on it...
Like a boss! Didn't want to install my entire music collection on my N7, just the stuff I play most - but I also didn't want to have to do it manually, song by song. This let me transfer not just the m3u file, but the associated songs in about 10 minutes via wireless network. Bluetooth didn't really work out but wireless was like butter.
Great app If you don't like this app.... Well, your drunk!
Fast Nice app, liked it better before the upgrade, but it still ranks higher than most. I'm a music lover, so that is not freely given. ...
Issues Keeps stopping during song transfer and the app shuts down.
