"Insane megalomaniac Gingrich Yurr is preparing to unleash an army of monstrous zombies upon the world. He must be stopped and his undead horde defeated. In this life-or-death adventure the decisions YOU make will decide the fate of the world. Can YOU survive or will YOU become a zombie too?"

“Blood of the Zombies is a hugely enjoyable, brilliantly presented, hilariously violent romp. If this is your first gamebook or your 30th, you’re going to have a whale of a time.” – POCKET GAMER - 9/10 - GOLD AWARD!

“Ultimately, fans of the old stories should enjoy Blood of the Zombies. It delivers an authentic Fighting Fantasy experience while updating the gameplay and style in its own way. ” – STARBURST - 8/10

“…for those looking for an interesting storyline and a delightful walk down memory lane, it’s a sterling effort and one that very much deserves its asking price. I’m already looking forward to other Fighting Fantasy/Tin Man Games collaborations.” – 148 APPS - 4.5/5 – EDITOR’S CHOICE!

“Beautifully presented, a little campy but oh-so-worth that walk down memory lane, Blood of the Zombies will not go amiss in your library of interactive iOS-based tales.” – TOUCH ARCADE - 4/5

Found a bug Good game, enjoyed these books as a youngster. Putting in some spoiler space ....................._zzzzzzzz__zzzzzz .ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ........... MMMMMM ZOMBIES...... . . After collecting $102, I have been unable to give 100 to Reznik. I can see the money on my adventure sheet but the option to give him the money is not selectable.

Mateusz Sykula

Not bad. Nothing really splendid, but it's entertaining with a tongue in the cheek manner. Still it refuses to run on Xperia J, BTW.

Lucas Gravelle

Amazing Absolutely amazing! Great story!

Huy Du Tran

Nostalgia Ensues! I agree with both the disappointed reviews about the difficulties but the format and style brings joy to my hearts content. It can only get better from now. Great job!

M Smith

Wonderful return to game books. Loved these style books in my youth. This app does not disappoint if you are a fan of these type of books.

Pikey Berbil

Would rate higher if tin man responded to emails

Mike Harding

Do more fighting fantasy books! i will buy 'em all... I loved these back in the day, and the automated dice, inventory, bookmarks, etc all work great. Would love to see the underwater one redone - demons of the deep!

Cristian Leonte

Weak... Dull story... very linear, difficulty spikes between boringly easy and too hard, and you also happen to walk into dead ends where nomatter what you do you are dead and are forced to load and redo a lot of the content just to pick up an item that is mandatory later on.

Dan Graves

Surprisingly good! I have to admit I thought this would be weak but it really put me through an ordeal! Really quite challenging and a great selection of weapons and choices...dear God I smiled when I found a chainsaw!! Brilliant!

Christina Freeman

Overpriced Polish This app is a mixed bag, and pretty overpriced in many respects. It is faithful to the original, with the added bonus of having an automated Adventure Sheet. Plus, the music and artwork are pretty good, showing a lot of polish. However, the story still has the problems of the original - it is very linear. The target audience for this app is people who are already fans of the format, who probably already own this title as an actual book. As such, despite being a good app, it is ultimately overpriced.

A disappointment I had hoped for a bit of FF nostalgia but was sorely let down. No skill or luck stats, poorly written and instant deaths - my first death came without warning after only about three 'turns' into the book. Overall a joyless experience. I totally regret having spent money on this.

Dan Jackson

Dull Too hard, needlessly restrictive, possibly to get in unwinnable scenarios, clunky, too expensive.

Jeremi Lanteigne

Okay but contains bugs Equipment problem late in the book. I loose the machine gun, can't use the chainsaw. Stuck with a pistol... Where is my shotgun?

Ricardo Barbas

Not as good as the oldies The story and the writing is dull, and so is the overall structure of the book. Not a patch on some of the old classics, and this isn't just nostalgia speaking.

Aaron Travis

2nd mobile game I would recommend The first game I played on a mobile platform that I would actually recommend to gamers as a "must have" was Fantasy Flight's Elder Sign. It's been 6 months and I've finally found a second set of games worth recommendation. Tin Man Games game books, be it a Fighting Fantasy port or one of their Gamebook Adventures are great.

Andrea Nasuelli

Costly but nice Costs a little too much for what it offers, but in absolute terms it's a very high quality gamebook. Reading / playing these things on a table feels just perfect. I don't agree 100% with the choices made about difficulty levels, but it's not a gamebreaking problem.

David Frautschi

Very simple and fun I never knew reading could make such a fun game. The writing lets you imagine yourself in this world. Very fun. The bookmark feature is very helpful.

Norbert Szél

A fun challenge Despite of not being a traditional fantasy FF book, it is at least as much fun and probably provides more replayability on phones/tablets. The book itself is not too bad, playing through is hard and might require a couple of tries. The presentation of the app is great, I thoroughly enjoyed reading and playing. (The music+sounds is non-existent but pls compare with any other paper-based book. ;) ) Definitely a good investment for fans of zombie flicks and FF books who do not insist on die-hard fantasy themes.

Brunell Brunell

FF back from the dead! Another reanimated classic from Tin Man Games. Looking forward to more of the series, fingers crossed for Creature of Havoc.

Rodney Howells

A breath of fresh air. Perfect for those who like reading, but want some action too. Far more entertaining that those farm games or other freemium money suckers.

Reggie Ellwood

It was o.k. How much can you really expect?

Summer Green

Amazingly entertaining and kept me on the edge of my bed!!! Great book guys!!!

Taco Monkey

Something original. I must be one of the few who never played this when i was a kid. It is such a refreshing surprise. I really enjoyed playing through this. No problems with anything. Hi quality and very polished game. Good job devs. Have already bought my second one and am enjoying it as well.

Chris Murtagh

All the features you'd expect Don't forget to bookmark those vital pages, don't you remember holding a page with a finger whilst looking at the options? :) A great 'on the phone' implementation of a classic style of book based entertainment. Many a happy childhood hour spent with Fighting Fantasy.

Martin steers

Awsome This is great . the only thing i Don't like is the way its doubled in price in the last week . Playing this on a DGM T-909

Sean Davis

Brilliant I used to love these books! Please release more editions, thank you.

James Ogg

Amazing Game Perfect for short play periods and is amazingly fun!!

Shariff Fudin

Nostalgic! I remembered a time I used to play the Way of the Tiger series. Great sounds but hope more background music could be incorporated. Nonetheless, for fans of game book, it is worth the money! Put on those head phones!

mark j

Boring Gave up after 30 minutes.

Timothy Kelly

Excellent A fun choose your own adventure game

cecil keith

Very boring

Excellent! I really enjoyed this gamebook. The developers have done an excellent job. Great story and a loy of fun to play. Looking forward to more FF gamebooks!

marc alamara

Fantastic new title I have been reading the fighting fantasy collection since a child, house of hell being my first. This is a brilliant return to form and the game mechanics work beautiful on smart phones /tablets, very polished product highly addictive and the difficulty modes are ingenious as a child I always used to cheat so it's refreshing going back to the game books and playing properly. The music, the illustrations and the sound effects all lend themselves brilliantly to the ambiance of the adventure

James Joyce

Not anywhere near the quality of the books I purchased this game as I have fond childhood memories of the Fighting Fantasy books. Sadly this seems to be a cheap cssh in. The actual software works quite well, but the quality of the writing is dreadful. You basically run around bland corridors fighting bland zombies. No atmosphere, and no real story to be honest. Hopefully they convert some of the Fighting Fantasy backcatalog to this format and add in a lot more music and art.

Owen Hughes

Aces Just a great electronic version of a game book.

David Grimmel

Cool new F/F gamebook (app) by Ian Livinstone. I was hesitant at first to get this F/F edition since I'm not into all the "zombie" - type story stuff, but it turned out to be pretty good. It was harder than I thought it would be and ended up using cheat mode to get to the end :-D. Just like the old days, lol. I'm WAY looking forward to the next F/F series coming out and also the Grail-Quest series. Been a fan since I found the first U.S. print version of "Warlock of Firetop Mountain" back in the 80's. When I looked through my English teachers personal library for students to read from when I was in grade school, it was one of the few books that caught my eye and I'm glad it did. Its great to be able to have these right on my phone to read whenever I get a free minute. Keep em coming Ben and Neil! Kudos to the developers for quick email responses to requests for improvements and additions to the book. Waiting patiently for "House of Hell". I am just starting "GA2: Siege of the Necromancer" while I wait. I like the "retro mode" on the F/F series and would like to see it also on the GA series for easier reading (for older early 40's guys like me:-))

Okay The game is too short for $5, but with that length (30 minutes) I enjoyed the game. Will be worth it for those who REALLY enjoy Fighting Fantasy games.

Pikey Berbil

Nice I hope a zombie kill total counter could be included in an update

William Coble

Horrible!!! The story sucks and there are too many items and hints to where items and weapons are. Zombies brandish various weapons such as Dynamite!! And chainsaws!!! Seriously?!?! This game is way too over-the-top and it barely makes sense, there is a Booby trapped box that sits in a hallway, wow. You get jumped by attack dogs, zombies throw grenades and apparently zombies are everywhere. This game is way too imaginative watch the walking dead. Definitely not worth $5

Ashland Mackillican

Love it. Few glitches. At some choices, it gives me the options "If you have a grenade, you can use it" and "If you dont have a grenade, or would like to save it" and whenever i try to save my grenades, it wont let me click the "Dont use" option, and leads me to an untimely death. :) only encountered once, but its all good.

Well made, so much fun! True FF! Beautifully presented, fun game dynamics and good level of challenge. It took me a while to find that last pesky zombie! I have all of these games and I want more!

John Joseph

EPIC choice story series!!!

Tewhiu Tuwairua

Wow This games addictive. I made it to the armour and died cause I wasn't quick enough to escape the attack dogs. Haha. My complaints are..... well don't have any. Recommended
